"You haven't heard of me?" Tigress asked, briefly easing off her fighting stance. She wasn't a kung fu master for the glory, but just about everyone knew who she was. Master Tigress, member of the Furious Five. Memories of her friends, Po and the other Furious Five, flashed into her head. She started to miss them and wondered what they were doing without her, but her outside didn't show her emotions. "I'm Tigress, kung fu master and member of the Furious Five."

(As I was typing I thought it would be funny of Shadow if the Furious Five was like the Sinister Six xD But it may be funnier if Sonic asked, I don't think Shadow is in Lost World.)

"Wait, Sonic told me about you guys, you tried to destroy the world!" Shadow said remembering when Sonic told him about a group of creatures that Eggman had tried to use to destroy him, but lost control. "I won't let you destroy this world, I made a promise and I intend to keep it." Shadow said as memories flashed into his brain, he couldn't explain it, but it was all coming back to him, something was messing with reality, that was the only explanation.

"Destroy the world? The Furious Five tries to keep the peace!" Tigress replied. She felt her temper starting to flare up. Shadow clearly had her confused with someone else. Maybe it wasn't his fault, maybe something strange is going on, something to do with the world she now found herself in. She closed her eyes and began to do Tai Chi, beginning with the tiger pose.

Shadow took a deep breath, maintain the peace huh? Maybe this wasn't who he thought she was, then again Sonic hadn't described them very well. Shadow relaxed and lowered his guard. "I apologize, I mistook you for somebody else, join with us, we're trying to figure out how to get of here."

"Apology accepted," Tigress said. She still had her eyes closed and gracefully moved through her tai chi motions. Once she was satisfied with her level of calmness she stopped. She opened her eyes and walked up to Shadow. "What exactly is this place?"

Shadow crossed his arms and looked back at the village. "We still don't know, but the people of this village seem to be friendly, my friend is back their now trying to get his hands on some clues, like a map." Shadow answered and started walking back to Sonic. "Come." Shadow motioning for her to follow.

Tigress fallowed behind Shadow. She glanced at the village buildings and the villagers. They didn't seem afraid of her. Whatever world they were in looked and felt real; maybe it was, but dreams feel real to. Something strange is going on here...

Nepeta suddenly stopped and sniffed the air. There was a familiar scent and she was sure even Karkitty would be able to recognize the source. "I smell....Jade!" She began to grin, flicking her tail. She was glad someone else she knew was here. Knowing Jade, she'd most likely be asleep. And Nepeta, being Nepeta, zoned out again, playing through many scenarios in her head.

Shadow was suddenly shot back by a burst of purple aura, then purple smoke appeared which gave him an eerie feeling in his chest, a sense of fear, desperation. Then from the ground rose a mirror image of himself, only all the red was a faded blue, and his eyes were reptilian similar to Perfect Chaos, or Iblis, this was... He didn't know, he felt like he knew this entity, but he couldn't place it.

"What's the matter Shadow? Having trouble remembering me? Again? That's to be expected since Sonic tried to erase me from existence by blowing out the flame of Solaris, but as you can see I'm back. And with my return comes a guarantee of betrayal directed towards you inflicted by everyone in the world." Shadow's eyes went wide, what? The world would betray him? What did he mean? "Would you prefer if I showed you?" Mephiles revealed a figure, Shadow... Dead. "This is humanities doing. They betray you Shadow, as does the rest of the world, including Sonic, and even Rouge the Bat. All of your friends will abandon you, and leave you to face this harsh world alone, why not get them before they get you? Join me Shadow, and we can rewrite the future!"

Tigress growled at Mephiles. She didn't fully understand what he was saying, but she didn't like the parts she did. A villain. She stood in her fighting stance. Her orange eyes looked at Shadow to see how Mephiles' words were affecting him.

The Gamer watched as Shadow conversed with Tigress. They seemed to be doing fine; no real fighting yet. He was surprised, however, when Mehpiles appeared. Why does he still exist? He was erased by time! How does one recover from that?! ...and now he's trying to manipulate Shadow. He knew that he shouldn't fight Mephiles, so he decided to try something else. "Nice to see you again, Mephiles." He said calmly as he approached them, "Have we met yet?"

Mephiles looked over at the Gamer. "I know you, you're the one who time hops into different realities and dimensions, you've been everywhere in reality. I however have been doing some time hopping of my own. Oh yes my knowledge has expanded far beyond my previous limitations. I know a great many things, that's how I know about you." Mephiles declared staring at the Gamer. He then looked over at Tigress. "I even know about you, Tigress, the most gifted of the Furious Five, tell me, does it anger you when you think of how you were cheated out of becoming the Dragon Warrior, haven't you ever wanted revenge against Po for robbing you of your rightful title? After all, he did just fall in front of you." Mephiles spoke every word calmly. 'Or maybe that spot truly was reserved for Tai Lung. The one martial artist who could even defeat the great Master Shi Fu. You could join me as well Tigress, my master would love to have you on the team. Get your revenge on Po, claim your rightful place." Mephiles said raising his arms.

"You do realize that it is impossible to go to different dimensions with time travel, right?" The Gamer said, obviously not impressed by Mephiles' "knowledge". "And if you really know about the universe she came from, you would know that Po has proven that he is worthy of being the dragon warrior at least twice. And without the Furious Five, Tigress included, Po wouldn't have gotten very far. I could go on, but I don't want to embarrass you too much. Still, the fact that you know me is quite the feat. The chances of us meeting would've been one-to-infinity."

Tigress clenched her fist. She looked at the Gamer. He seemed to sum up what her reply to Mephiles would have been. "I was never meant to be the Dragon Warrior," she said to Mephiles, before growling at him. "And I'm not going to join you!"

Mephiles listened to the Gamer's words. "Of course I realize that, it is my master who permits me to travel through different worlds." Mephiles then looked over at Tigress. " "There are no accidents." Those were the words he spoke right? Well I'm afraid that's a lie, accidents do happen. If they didn't I wouldn't even exist." Mephiles said. "Haven't you ever wondered what it would be like had you become the Dragon Warrior, but I'll leave you to think of my words. Shadow, I can restore your memories of what happened in Soleanna, we'll meet again, and when we do, I'll restore your memories." Mephiles said fading into the ground.

The Gamer looked at the place Mephiles faded into the ground at. It suddenly hit him. "What a sad little man." He said, "He believes his own existence is an accident. That's why he does what he does; he's trying to find purpose for himself. For that I sympathize for him, but in the end it is he who is doing all these bad things, not the mistake of his creators. Sure his creators created him on accident, but his existence was planned by a different creator." He then turned around towards the village and said "The others are this way. Maybe you can help us find a way back home." and started walking.

Tigress walked over to where Mephiles was and crouched, before sniffing the ground. Coward. She looked over at Shadow as she stood up. "He's lying to you," she said. "He lied to me. I'm not the Dragon Warrior because of an accident, it was destiny." She began to follow Gamer toward the others.

Shadow dropped to his knees with his eyes wide. Sonic had wiped his memory of Mephiles and some place called, Soleanna? Why would Sonic do that to him, he had enough trauma as it was with memory loss issues. "Just go..." Shadow said dropping his face down to the floor. What the heck has happened to him.

As Tigress fallowed Gamer, a slew of questions floated around her head, but what to asked first? "You seem to know a lot about me, who are you?" she asked. Gamer didn't seem like a villain, but how did he know about Po and the Furious Five. She hadn't seen him before till now. "And who was that shady character that taunted Shadow and I?"

Mephiles rose to Yami Marik, and Yami Bakura. "You two, I know much about you two. Marik, a being born of pure hatred and despair, and you, Bakura, or should I say Zorc the Dark One. My master has sent me to send you invites into his legion. He will grant you awesome power, and immunity from destruction. What do you say?" Marik and Bakura looked at each other. Bakura nodded and approached the figure, Marik also followed Mephiles. Mephiles then looked over to see the Gamer and Tigress. "We must go now."

"I am The Gamer;" He said to Tigress, "I speak for the trees." After a second of awkward silence he continued, "Sorry, I just like mixing up my greetings. Anyway, I'm a dimension-traveling artificial being that was created to study dimensions. I later learned to fight after I died every time I went to an anime dimension. As for the guy who tried to taunt us, his name is Mephiles. I'm not 100% sure about his backstory though; dimensions being so different and all that. I usually have to guess. Point is, he's tough. Not beyond my own power, but he might be beyond yours. Again, different dimensions are different. He made a mistake though; he told us about his master. His master must have time and space powers to be able to recover Mephiles from being erased by time and take us all here. The question is 'why'. Why would his master bring us here? Could he be trapping the only people that can defeat him?" The Gamer was too deep in thought to notice Mephiles.

Tigress became very confused. The only thing she understood was that Mephiles' master was evil, because Mephiles is evil. "What if he wanted us out of the way?" she asked. She began to think about her home. Could some unknown evil be ransacking the Valley of Peace at this very moment? She shook the thought out of her head and caught a glimpse of Mephiles. She growled.

Mephiles looked at the Gamer. "I have two more for the master." He said as he sank into the ground, taking Marik and Bakura with him. Shadow finally rose from the ground and walked slowly catching up to Tigress and the Gamer, too depressed to notice Mephiles. He bumped passed Tigress and the Gamer and approached Sonic.

The Gamer heard Mephiles' voice before he took Marik and Bakura with him. "Too bad; I was going to challenge them to a Pokemon card battle." He said to himself before Shadow bumped past them and towards Sonic. This was going to be good. He then took a whole park bench out of his pocket and sat down on it, pulling out a bucket of popcorn as well. "Take a seat, Tigress; Shadow is about to go all angst-mode on Sonic about preventing one of the worst events on his world from ever happening. Have some popcorn. Don't worry about any lint; my pockets have British Sci-fi hyperdimensional storage in them. They're bigger on the inside."

Tigress looked at Shadow. She wanted to help him, but Sonic seemed to be from his world and probably knew more about Mephiles than she did. She sat down and crossed her legs. "Thanks for the offer, but I'm not hungry," she replied. She didn't know what popcorn was, but she knew what corn was. She closed her eyes and focused on the sounds around her.
