Backstory: John joined the Desert Rangers when he was young, growing out of the Boston area he moved to New Vegas in search of a better life and ended up with the Desert Rangers. After the rangers signed with NCR, he left. Taking his gear with him forcefully and went on to live as a nomad, hunting and selling dead animals in a small town in the Mojave.
