Falling Worlds - Exile's Pack [Inactive]

Boon kept quiet and watched the two faes as Exile spoke. Having backed away from Haral once she moved to a crouch as he walked back to Exiles side once she began walking towards the dens. "Is there anything you wish me to do further ma'am?" He asked once she walked mote. Waiting until they were a bit farther before asking but still able to hear and see this new wolf.

Haral watched Exile head off before sprinting away. "I can't leave, not just yet" she thought as she headed north of the camp, far enough to be hidden but not far enough to lose sight of the camp. Heading near the river she went for the den she had lived in for he past few moons. She settled down in it and thought about what she would do next

(UUUUUUGGGGHHHHH! Sorry guys! I'm back on now! School is a killer!!!!!!!)

Kira smiled lightly hearing his story before she got up and nodded to him. "You just worry about getting back in shape, I will talk to Exile. She won't be testing you until your back to full strength ok?" Kira said before lowering her head. "Thank you for telling me this. This is a pack of new chances, I'm not sure on the revenge part but I know no one would judge you here." She said before turning to head to her den. 'Is that all Shadow?"

Exile looked at Boon. "No, thank you." She said before as she entered camp. "Heart..." She said looking at the young fae as she dug around a tree. The fae stared curiously, if she had eyebrows she would have raised one in question. The black fae's sore body slowly sat down as she stared at her young pup.

Heart looked up and smiled at Exile. "Mother." She said and walked up nuzzling Exile before looking back at the tree. "I was looking for more medicine for Crown. He got poisoned." She said before Exile nodded. She wagged her tail. "Hello again Boon." she said as she looked back at Exile. "Also Blood is not very happy, she won't let Kira or I in to continue to heal her." At this Exile's eyes seemed to darken a bit more.

Exile looked at Blood's den. "There is no helping it. She will not listen to me. If she didn't before do you really think now will be any different?" Exile asked as she looked at Heart. "The other healer, tell her to take care of Blood, and then go get your brother, we will have our training." She said.

"Yes that was all Kira, you are a great listener" said Shadow as he smiled to her with a rather sad face.

"I think I should go and get some rest." Shadow stood up and walked to the den while being in deep thoughts.

He knew some power had developed during his journey, but because he was so weak Shadow just never found out what power it was.

Shadow stopped walking and thought he maybe should tell Kira about that, but he decided it was too early for that.

He entered one of the free dens, laid down and fell into a deep sleep almost instantly.

Kira nodded and turned. "Have a good rest." She said bowing her head before heading to the healing den. She quickly spun before laying down and resting her head. She was tired from all her healing she's done today. She looked out from her den, silently listening to everything going on outside. She closed her eyes and sighed deeply as she shifted a little, laying on her side as she watched the water drip down the stone wall at the back of her cave.

Exile turned to Boon. "Wait a minute. I have been meaning to set you with a rank. You will train with my son, I expect you to use all your skills and not hold back on the young brute." She said before turning to Black lake. "As you should not." She said hiding a small smile that appeared as Black Lake nodded with a slight bow of his head. Exile turned, looking around before deciding to head to a small clearing. "Come with me."

Shadow wasn't really able to get in a peaceful sleep, there were so much things in his head. He kept turning and turning until he hit one of the walls of his den. He woke up and looked at what was happening outside, but with his mind at completely other things. He was thinking about Kira, his power, his current physical condition and he was also thinking about Exile. Shadow knew that Exile was sort of angry, but that one second when they looked each other in the eyes, Shadow had seen some other emotion, it was frustration paired with sadness. But what was she so frustrated about. Shadow knew that feeling because of his complicated history, perhaps Exile has the same problem. He decided to try and ask Kira whenever he would see her again.

After making that decision, Shadow became a little bit more relaxed and slowly started to fall asleep again.

Aaralyn

A howling pierced through the soon to come night. The melody seeped through every crack and corner, putting anyone who heard into a deep sleep. As the melody ceased, the source turned around to look at a pair of seemingly glowing red eyes. Their owner hidden in the shadows of the trees, "it has been done" Aaralyn said in an undertone.

Boon would nod to Exile and continue to fallow her into camp. Sitting a bit farther behind her to keep watch on his weak alpha as he had not been dismissed from her presence. Watching as heart came over and spoke to the both of them he smiled to her. "Hello heart." Standing as he stretched before Exile spoke to him again. Nodding as he was told that he was to spar with her son. "Yes ma'am." Following her as she said to and perking his ears to a howl in the distance as it swept through the wood. Stopping as he did so before looking wuickly to Exile with perked ears.

Dante inhaled, breathing in the fresh scents of the forest around him. Mixed in with it all was the distinct smell of wolves, a pack to be exact. The wolf shook his fur out of his face and began to walk closer towards the camp. Each step closer was a step towards new beginnings. Once he felt that he was a good distance away, but also close enough, Dante lifted his muzzle up towards the sky and let loose a howl. Howls don't really consist of words but they do have meanings based upon the way that they sound. The meaning of this one was; I'm here in your territory, but I don't plan on leaving. Nor do I plan on causing any harm. When the howl was over he lowered his head to a much more comfortable level. The brown wolf rolled his shoulders before padding closer toward their camp in the city. His muscles rippled defiantly beneath his skin, and his tail wagged in the air behind him. Dante wasn't about to walk in there like a coward, if anything he would hold his head high and confident.

(I think I'm accepted. Am I? If not then I'll delete this post.)

Exile perked her ears before she looked at Boon. She growled lowly as she turned and heard another howl. Someone else was in her territory, his scent carried on the wind. The pure black fae looked at Boon for a moment before she turned. "Black Lake, stay here." She said as she rolled her shoulders and searched for the wolf that had entered her territory. She looked back at her son who was giving her a look.

"I am a guard mother. I will come too." He said and growled lowly, staring at her in the eyes directly. Black lake's dark blue eyes met with the same dark blue of Exile's. The two stared off before Exile's burning gaze closed and turned away. Black Lake smiled knowing he won and sped off. The proud young wolf held his head high like an alpha as was his right when Exile past on.

Exile sighed with a small smile appearing on her muzzle before she headed off after her son. "Boon! You come too." She called back as she headed for the brute calling in her territory(Dante). When she found him, she stood tall, raising her head high as she stared down at the wolf, her blue eyes once again alit with fire. The scar on her left side showed with the wind. She glanced at Black lake who was beside her, growling lowly at the stronger.

Morgan smirked and walked out, staring at Aralyn. He turned to the field he had song in. They were close to the pack, but not close enough. "I want the territory of the pack close by...I will challenge Exile." He said with a snarl before his eyes turned to Draco. "Scout out ahead, I want details on her pack before I move in. Aralyn...you are with me." He said as he turned. "I want you to sing to the other pack....before I kill them." He said with an evil smirk.

Scarkill was at camp, pacing. He didn't like all the new wolves moving in suddenly. There was something off, he knew Exile was going to start sending out new guards to help keep the territory secure. He sighed and sat back down, waiting for Exile to return like most of the wolves did when she was gone. He shook out his fur before getting up. There was something in the air today that set him on edge.

Shadow woke up by the sound of a howl. He decided to go outside and wanted to try and find out what was wrong. Shadow walked to Scarkill who was walking around in the camp. "Hey, what is wrong? You seem sort of nervous about something" Shadow said as he sat down next to Scarkill.

Kovua trailed the light brown brute known as Dante. Her head low, icy blue oculars studying him. She had been following him for quite some time but he had failed to take any notice. She wasn't sure if he knew she was there or he was just completely oblivious to her presence. Her ears pricked forward at the sound of his howl. Realizing he was summoning the pack that lie in these woods. Backing up she crouched down behind some shrubbery, her light brown underbelly brushing the soft earth. Fluffy tail flicking silently from side to side. Her thick fur began to stand up around her shoulder as she sensed wolves approaching. Bunching her shoulder muscles her raised her head ever so slightly and watched as the alpha female addressed the male she had been following. Ducking back down she let a soft whimper escape her jaws, debating inwardly whether or not to come out of hiding. Clearly her scent would give her away sooner or later.

Sidkah felt a soft breeze lace through his thick midnight black fur. He padded into camp and lowered his haunches into a seated position, whisking his tail to lay neatly beside him. He had an annoyed twitch of his ear when exile neglected to call his name to come help with the new wolf on their territory. He inhaled and exhaled calmly, his dark amber eyes scanning the camp clearing. He knew he was a younger male of the pack, but he was just as capable to fight if a fight broke out. He shifted his weights from one paw to the other, Sidkah's well rounded muscles bunching under his fur.

Haral was hunting down a rabbit when she heard a howl, and another shortly afterwards. she stopped abruptly and perked her ears up. "It didn't sound like anyone in the pack" she thought to herself. The owner of the second howl sounded was nearby, so she decided to investigate. Cautiously walking in the direction of the second howl. Noticing that she was in pack territory, she moved out of it. It was still enough to see the newcomer, but not enough to say she was in pack territory. He was a light brown wolf, a bit larger than average. There was another wolf trailing him, a grey fae this time, it didn't look like the brown brute noticed. "well this is interesting" thought Haral as she lay in the shrubs watching the whole thing unfold

Spike

Spike was slowly waking up after a good and long sleep. He stood up and slowly stretched every muscle in his body. After shaking his thick fur he yawned, suddenly he saw a rabbit passing him and he decided to chase it. After running through the forest for quite some time he suddenly ran into an large open field. Spike immediately stopped as he saw two other wolves talking to each other.

The rabbit saw its chance and hopped away into the bushes. One of the wolves looked at Spike and told the other one about it. Spike was standing as a statue looking towards the two wolves. He knew he wouldn't win a fight, they were with more. Nevertheless, he was standing in a stance that showed of his rather small but muscular body. He stood and waited, not taking his eyes away from them.

Draco stared at Spike before turning and growling, getting ready to fight before Morgan let out a growl that stopped Draco dead in his tracts. Draco lowered himself to the ground just slightly as he looked behind him at Morgan with a slight glare. Morgan stood there behind Draco before he past the smaller brute to the even smaller brute Spike. Draco raised himself up as he perked his ears, waiting for Morgan to do something.

The demon like brute stared at Spike with unreadable eyes before he let loose a smirk. "And you are?" Morgan asked as he began to circle Spike, seeing he was small but Morgan always wanted to know if they were useful before killing them. Morgan stopped in front of him as he sniffed silently. "You are not from around here are you little wolf?" He asked.

Boon stood and listened as Exile spoke to her son of joining her to investigate a song from a lone wolf. Looking quickly to her with a nod before trottingover to her as she called for him to join them. Following her quietly as he spotted the singer to the strange howl within the woods and let I out a growl of warning to stay where the brown brute was before Exile would go to speak. Keeping one the other side of his alpha that her son was at the make sure she was protected from both sides.

Spike

Spike, as inexperienced how he was, didn't know how to handle this situation he was in. He kept standing like he stood, not lowering his head or showing some short of respect in anyway. But when he started talking you could hear that he wasn't really confident. "No I'm not for anywhere close to here, I came from very far to look for new wolves to live with. My name is Spike". Spike became nervous as was circling him but relaxed a little as he stopped and sniffed, Spike was looking at Morgan but also kept an eye on Draco for any unexpected moves.

Dante studied the alpha, running his gaze over her dark fur and strong muscles. She was indeed what he had expected her to be; strong, powerful, authoritative. Yet he wasn't the least bit intimidated by her, or the wolves that stood at her sides. "So, this is Exile's pack..." He muttered mostly to himself. Slowly the brute began to walk closer towards the line of wolves. Each of them stood tall with their heads raised and tails high, seemingly challenging him. Dante matched their pose, but there was something in his eyes, something that would put any normal canine on edge.

The defiant look on his face wasn't something that he did purposely, it just came naturally from being the alpha for so long. It was the look of a leader, a look that you don't just get rid of. Dante rolled his shoulders, and for the first time he realized how tense he was. Though he was not nervous or afraid, the outcast alpha was prepared for an attack.

Exile stared at this new wolf, her eyes piercing as she studied him before she suddenly jumped to the side and bolted right into his side, the female was larger then most, almost matching the size of a normal brute. She growled as the alpha placed her paw on his neck, pushing down in just the right spot to make it difficult to breath. "You may have been an alpha, but you will show me respect. When in another alpha's territory it is not good to stand defiant, you always show the other one respect until you leave. This is not your territory, this is mine." Exile said harshly her voice colder then a winter's wind. She lowered her head and bared her fangs with her tail held high and her fur bristling. The female was terrifying in her state.

Exile was a strong wolf, even without blood claws she still could kill in an instant, however she wouldn't kill him, she was teaching him. Exile's gaze suddenly turned to a female that was hiding. With a flick of her ear Black Lake looked toward Kovua.

Black Lake like always was amazed at his mother, Dante was unnerving to say the least but Exile never showed fear. He was once again amazed when she noted another wolf hiding and quickly jumped defending his mother. He snarled and raised his tail high staring at the female. He still had power in his claws but it wasn't like Exile's it was less destructive and didn't put as much strain on his body as Exile's full transformation would.

Scarkill looked at the new wolf and looked away toward the exiled realm. "There is to much movement around the boarders and so many wolves coming in and out." Scarkill glanced at Crown for a moment. "Not to mention rouges." He said before he shook off his fur and looked at Cub who was sleeping. Scarkill growled as he watched camp. "I feel uneasy." He said as he turned to Shadow. "As I am well aware it has concerned Exile."

Eternal was walking slowly around camp, the elder wolf watched the younger one's carefully, his white fur laying heavily on his old bones. His muzzle held three scars running diagonal down it, and his legs holding many scars of an old retired soldier. He sat beside a younger wolf, seeming to be sulking. He yawned and stretched himself out tiredly, sighing in relief when he heard his back give a crack. He looked at the wolf Sidkah. "Something the matter?"

Dante shifted underneath the female's paw, moving to make it slightly easier to breathe. His first instinct was to throw her off of him, which he could have done, quite easily I might add, but he didn't. Instead he let her shove him to the ground and hold him there. She was right. It was wrong of him to march into their territory so defiantly. If he was ever going to gain her respect or even liking, then Dante was going to have to learn to be nice. Still, he was not very fond of allowing another wolf of his rank, er...previous rank, to hold him like this. Using his eye that wasn't facing the ground, Dante sent her a glare that showed he was more annoyed than anything. He then turned his gaze towards rest of the wolves, one of which was staring down the female that had been following him through the woods.

"Fine. Now if you wouldn't mind, please let me up." His voice was thick with sarcasm, for he knew of course that she
would mind. The brown wolf dug his claws into the ground impatiently, trying hard to restrain himself. His blue eyes searched hers for any sort of clue that she would be letting him up any time soon. "Exile?" He asked waiting for her to reply. "Gonna' let me up?"

Shadow

It didn't make sense to Shadow that Scarkill was feeling concerned about his Alpha, but didn't do anything about it.

He was the Beta from the pack, he should be protecting his Alpha at all time. On the other hand Shadow understood that someone should look after the camp as well.

"So... shouldn't we go looking for Exile?" Shadow said while sitting and looking at Scar with a rather questioning face.

"We could at least find out what is wrong"

Shadow was hoping for some action, he felt better than he did in a long period of time, probably because he finally shared his history with someone who he sort of trusted immediatly, Kira.

Kovua's ears pricked before laying flat against her skull. The small fae took a pace back as the brute known as Black Lake, stepped infront of exile, his lips drawn back in a snarl, glaring towards her. She had expected to be found, but it came sooner than she hoped. Lowering her cranium submissively, she parted her jaws to speak, before shutting them once again, the alpha hadn't addressed her so she wasn't sure if she could be snapped at for saying anything. The pretty wolf was indeed showing respect to the other wolves, but at the same time, her icy blue eyes met the brutes boldly. Kovua felt her fur bristle slightly around her shoulders and spine, displaying her uneasiness. She had seen what this alpha would do, and the fae was smart enough to know not to disrespect a wolf of high rank. She tilted her head slightly to the side, with a surprised flick of her bushy tail at the tone Dante used when speaking to Exile. She snorted slightly at his impatience, her icy gaze conveying her annoyance. Slowly she side stepped around the bush, coming into view of the group, dipping her head in greeting, ears lowered slightly.

Sidkah's ears twitched at the sound of the older wolves voice. His head turning to meet up with Eternals. Rolling his broad shoulders back in a shrug, silently responding to his question. Looking away from his pack mate he averted his dark gaze towards the forest.

"I just rarely get out that's all..." He trailed off, his voice dark laced with teenage impatience.

"I'm too young to join the older wolves, but I'm too old to join the pups." Sidkah stated tonelessly. Lazily, the handsome black brute rolled onto his back, staring up blankly, at the azure sky.

"You were a teen once... Well, it was a long time ago." He smirked up at the elder, conveying he was only joking,

"How did you fit in?"

Exile leaned her head down a bit further. "I good alpha has a good sense of patience." She said and growled right in his ear before she got off of him and turned to the female. Her ears perked up an forward again as she stared at Kovua. She nodded and turned away. "Black Lake, examine." She said using this opportunity to train her son. She calmly sat down and watched her son.

Black Lake bowed his head a bit. "Yes, mother." He said before he circled Kovua. "Strong female, underweight, loner for some time." He said as he looked over Kovua.

"Obvious." Exile said as she stared at her son. "Deeper." She said staring at Kovua herself, Exile's mind working on information about her.

"Scars, a...warrior?" He asked but Exile growled out. He flinched and looked at his mother a bit sadly.

"No, merely from attacks. Her attitude has no signs of a overly aggressive wolf, which is common in the attitude of a warrior." Exile corrected before she got up and circled the wolf herself. She noted the alertness in the wolf. "No an observer, a thinker." She stared directly into the eyes of the fae. She noted the almost emotionless characteristic of the wolf. "I want her for beta female." Exile said suddenly, raising her head. Exile could almost see herself in the fae. "Do you accept?" She said staring stoically at the female

Black Lake's ears perked up at how easy Exile could examine and break down a wolf but little hints. He looked back at Dante for a moment before looking at his mother. He tried hard to see where Exile got her information. He looked back at Dante which he felt his fur bristle at him, Exile was the alpha and he certainly didn't like how that wolf spoke to his mother. He didn't growl, in fact he turned away.

Scarkill shook his head no. "I must watch over the wolves here." He said and then looked away towards where Exile went. Scarkill and Exile were close, he was Exile's most trusted friend, so he did worry about Exile only because he got to see the other parts of Exile no one else did, the one that cries, the one that needs comfort. However, he still knew Exile could take care of herself so he forced himself to look away and stand up.

Eternal tilted his head to the side and laughed at the young pup's joke. "It was quite some time ago, but I still remember." He said and then looked around the pack. "Every wolf gets stuck in a time where you have to shift from a pup to adult, being stuck in between is hard. However, I did tend to stick with adults. Little by little I took on more responsibilities allowing the adults to recognize I was growing up. For now though, I would stick with other's your age as you try to show you can handle more. The adults will start to take notice, for one instance you should decide your rank in the pack and become an apprentice to the alpha of that rank. You will get out more that way. Heart is around your age and she serves under Kira, Black Lake also serves under Cub and since he is shooting to being the next Alpha also he tends to stick with his mother Exile."

Dante stood up and shook the dirt from his fur, revealing his cinnamon colored coat once again. Silently he watched as the Alpha observed the fae. Another male, who he presumed was her son, stepped up. Unlike their leader, Black Lake had some trouble. Exile seemed to know the wolf as if they had been best friends. Though, as soon as she said it, he realized it himself. The way that the female held herself gave her the sure stature of a warrior. Also, there was a look in her eyes that made him believe Exile when she called her an "observer." Her ability to do this surprised him, and although he would never admit it, it made him a bit jealous. The thoughts that came into his head next were the least pleasing. Maybe she is right. I led the worst pack in history and for years I was cruel and evil... Who's to say I actually was a good alpha. His thoughts drifted off and Dante focused on the situation at hand. "I want her for beta female." Dante raised his brow and glanced sideways at the Alpha. She's testing him. He thought. "Do you accept?" I wouldn't have accepted her into the pack. Then again I led a different kind of pack. He found himself staring at Exile and for the first time he realized what mad her a true alpha; the way she held herself, the way others looked at her, the way she spoke, and over all, the way that he looked at her. Dante realized that she was powerful in not only brute force, but also words. With that realization came a weakening sense of sadness. I lead with cruelty...she leads with honor. I was evil, so was she. We both realized our mistakes, but she was the one that pulled through, not me.

Kovua listened intently to the conversation the alpha and her son in training were having. She noted how Exile looked at Black Lake, she expected great things from him, and the brute obviously wanted to please his mother, and she didn't blame him. It was probably difficult to try and live up to a great wolf such as she. Her icy blue eyes with held her thoughts as she, turned her head slightly, watching Black Lake move about her.

Kovua instinctively tensed a bit, she hadn't been around other wolves in quite sometime, after her old pack was killed, she had been wandering alone, learning the hard way that you can't trust everyone you meet... that's where the scars came from. Her ears perked forward as he started talking, swivelling from side to side, following his voice as he trailed around her.

He gave his insight based off her appearance, and she found that he was hitting the basics, though wasn't always exactly right on. She had never seen any wolves do this before, and she wondered if they did this to every new comer. When Black Lake stepped off to the side, finished, after his mother gave a few sharp corrections, Kovua met his gaze briefly, allowing a small, encouraging, smile to tug on the corners of her lips, before she turned away, her attention directed to Exile.

Kovua was quite impressed. Of course neither of them could know any details to her story, but if she was giving a basic outline of her life thus far, they had gotten it. She felt the wind brush past her, lacing through her soft fur, ruffling it, ever so slightly. She had indeed been a loner for quite some time, but she still made an effort to keep herself well groomed. Quickly she bent her head and ran her pink hued tongue over her chest where a few tuffs of fur had escaped from their rightful spots, and she moved them curtly back into place, returning her full attention to Exile.

The small Fae arched a doggy eyebrow at her next words. Her eyes meeting Exile's in a manner that showed respect, and surprise. She had only just met this alpha, but Exile had seen something in her, and had allowed her to stay. Kovua wagged her tail slowly, she now had a home again.

I want her for beta. The words reached Kovua's ears so clearly, she new she couldn't be hearing things. But beta? She had never been a higher rank than Soldier, though, it was something she always strived for. When destruction hit her pack, she was forced to become a loner, knowing a higher rank, in any pack, would be near impossible.

Kovua's gaze blazed with determination. For whatever reason, Exile trusted her enough to allow her the opportunity to serve her as beta. And she was not about to let her down. Standing up straight, she raised her head before bowing it thankfully.

"I will not disappoint, alpha." She stated before resuming her normal stance. Parting her jaws to speak,

"My name, is Kovua, by the way. Thank you, for giving me this opportunity."

Sidkah offered Eternal a handsome crooked grin, reaching a forepaw up to paw at the elders raggedy ears, tail swishing happily, he had always been fond of Eternal. Ever since his own father died, not long ago, he had thought of this old wolf as more of a father figure. Though he would never tell him that. The handsome midnight black wolf allowed a soft laugh to roll smoothly from his maw.

"Aw, so you'd like me to hang out with Heart, and Black Lake... for now?" He snorted slightly, never been too great with socializing. Heart was this ray of sunshine, all giggly and fae like, and Black Lake was the serious, mothers boy.

Sidkah rolled his dark amber eyes, they were like complete opposites.
