Falling Worlds - Exile's Pack [Inactive]

Cub growled and barked, alerting Exile. Soon the black beauty rushed over. She jumped out and landed in between Dante and Kard. Her dark blue eyes stared at Kard with a flame, her powerful presence was at it's full force. "You know my name..." She stated as she raised her head and tail into an alpha position. "What are you doing in my territory?" She asked with a warning growl. She examined him closely working out all the information she could gather. He was large, he was strong, and she knew he knew how to use it. She rolled her shoulders as she watched carefully.

Cub stepped in front of Dante. "You know this wolf? I'd suggest you start giving us information." Cub was no longer his normal playful self, he was the alpha guard now, pure and simple he was in serious mode. He was small but he could outstand any wolf with his high endurance. He glanced at Kard before looking at Exile, she was examining him, thinking on all angels that could give them a clue about this wolf. He turned and saw Haral and instantly stared at her, growling lightly.

Eternal smirked at him. "Good morning, I managed to get you a good position." He said and sat down. "How do you feel about being the second apprentice to Exile?" He asked with a whoosh of his fluffy white tail. His eyes bright with happiness for the young wolf. "Exile will train you with her son." He said and shifted to paw at his head.

Spike

Spike slowly woke up and twitched his ears by the sound of the other wolves waking up. He rolled over and faced his new leader. "Goodmorning Morgan" he said while stretching all of his 4 paws. He stood up and shoke his pelt before looking around at the new territory. Spike wasn't the one that liked to kill but he did everything for his new leader. He was very happy that he had been able to find one in a not to large pack. He stared at Morgan while slowly waggling his tail.

Shadow

Shadow was also alarmed by the growling and barking from Cub. He stood up and shaked his fur. He realised that he was in a way better condition than he had been in when he joined the pack. For some reason it looked like his fur got darker and seemed more healthy. He was larger than most wolves, but he had Always felt smaller since he joined. But now he was confident again, confident like never before in his new pack. He stretched all his muscles and loved the strength he felt in them, which had been a long time ago since he actually noticed that.

He walked towards the source of the howl and it didn't take long for him to spot Exile, Cub, Kovua, Dante and another large wolf he didn't know. Shadow was quite impressed by the wolf, he seemed to be bigger than Shadow and you could easily see that he was also very strong and skilled. Skills were something that Shadow still needed to work on after his long period of rest. He sat down behind the wolves and kept silent, he didn't want to interrupt his Alpha. He wrapped his tail around his paws and perked his ears.

"I do not think that I will leave any time soon. Not after this rude introduction." He blankly looked at the young ex-Alpha. He had only thought that his tone was arrogant and annoying. It seems that Dante forgot who he was. Strangely, more and more wolves from the pack amassed near were he was. He was delighted to see the shadows going back to their original place, not because he was going to attack him if they got any closer, but they went away the moment his kindred came into his view. That was the sort of wolf he liked seeing in packs, though none should be as authoritative and cocky as Dante. And even Exile was standing there, next to her brother. His pride prevented him from turning around and walking away. He had chosen to be in this situation, and he will not back off. Kard observed all the members, looking at their muscles through their fur, their stance, even the velocity of their breath. They were quite suspicious of him, even if they never saw him before, or even heard of him. Kard would have thought that they did, considering the rumors in the South. Looking up at the Alpha, he smiled gently when he saw her. "You've grown well." The dark wolf nodded, and bowed slightly. He used to play with her when she was a pup, when her father used to be at the least sane. Well, he had wandered away before her teens, so she might not remember him. He did forgive faulty memory, and if he trusted what he heard on her case, it was at a price.

Exile blinked, looking at him again. She thought the name sounded familiar and he acted as if he knew her. She moved over and sniffed him, remembering his scent. She tilted her head before the small memories came back to her. Her tail wagged slightly behind her. "It is good to see you old friend. Though it has been a long time." She said bowing her head in a greeting. She was still tense though, they might have known each other once but like she said years have past and they were no longer pups, she didn't know his intentions. She went back into an alpha position staring at him. "I still must ask, why are you in my territory?" She was softer in tone, but her body still ready for a fight, still eyeing him for any movements toward attacking her.

"Mostly curiosity." Kard admitted, none too appreciative of all the eyes on him. He only noticed now that Dante had called him Kar, his hated nickname, and was in a mood to attack that snotty brat. Good thing he had avoided to react to that insult, or he'll have provoked a real all out war. This was one that he wasn't sure to win either. "I was in the area so, I figured that I owed visit to your pack. Though I admit I have done wrong by hunting in this part. My apologies." The wolf smiled gently, his voice more smooth, comparative to her intonation. "And....." He took a long pause, going in a contemplative state, lowering his voice in a whisper, so that no other wolf than her could hear it, his voice trembling slightly. "I am sorry. If I had came more earlier to face the nut your father became, perhaps....perhaps your mate would be still alive." He didn't only feel deeply sorry and ashamed, he was furious; At her father, at himself. He could have went back, as he was thinking of coming back, because he heard of the news that her father went slowly batshit crazy, but....he refrained from it, wanting to face what was out in the wildness. And the brute he had once called a friend had killed his own mate not a one day later..! He would have broke his neck under his own sharp jaws.

Dante furrowed his brow in sorrow, for he had never known what had happened to Exile's parents. He glanced back at Kard and nodded in apology. If he had known that Kard was a friend of Exile's then he wouldn't have been so rude. The brute rolled his shoulders before walking up to stand beside Exile. His curious blue eyes met those of the rogue, and he held his gaze steady and calm. Dante could see the fury wreathing within him, the anger at Exile's father, and thought to himself. I once looked like that, angry and powerful. He realized now what he must look like in the eyes of his leader; snobby and rude. A wave of shame washed over him and he turned his head away from the whole situation. "Exile," He said, turning to meet her beautiful eyes. Dante opened his mouth as if to say something , but he never could get out what he had intended to say. He needed to tell her what he'd done, and he wanted, needed, her help to change. To become a better wolf, but now didn't seem like the appropriate time. "Never mind." He muttered looking back at the rogue. I'll tell her, he thought, when we get back to camp.

starting from: "I suggest that you leave," He said in a menacingly dark voice. One that had sent chills up the spines of his prey for years. #225

Haral however bristling her fur started to growl, curling back her lips revealing incisors. "you" she snarled at Dante her voice deep with hatred. "i thought you looked familiar when I first saw you, you're that cold blooded killer known as the Everlasting Alpha the Enduring Warrior" she said with a sarcasm. visions appeared in her mind where Dante ripped the throat of a wolf, beheading and biting out the eyes of another. All with a bloody mouth and a look of amusement on his face. "what are you doing here, planning to massacre this pack as well?".

His eyes widened slightly. I should have known they would figure out who I was. I was so stupid to think otherwise. "No, no. I didn't come to hurt anyone." Dante took a step towards her, hoping that she would understand. He glanced around at the rest of the pack, fearing what their reaction would be. "That's in my past, it's history. Haral you don't understand what I've been through. I'm not the wolf that you saw so many years ago." Dante was now standing right in front of her. His handsome blue eyes locked with hers, but instead of hatred and anger, his face showed only a deep sadness. The male gently set his paw on hers, not pressing down, just setting it there. "You have to believe me." He dipped his head to her, but the look of hatred remained in her eyes. "You don't believe me." He muttered glancing over his shoulder at Exile. "You probably never will. Nor will you ever forgive me." He sighed, before removing his paw from hers. "Just know that I'm sorry for what I did." Dante raised his head to meet his leaders eyes, waiting for her reaction. He stood calmly, patiently, but also dignified.

Exile's eyes softened and she shook her head. "What's done is done. There was nothing that could be done about it. As for my mate...it was my fault, I should have seen it however, I still have my two pups." She whispered back with a small smile. "Kira and Black Lake." She added before standing up. "As for hunting, I will excuse it. For now I will let you stay, you aren't a threat to my pack and even if you were..." She said letting her claws glow a bit. 'I'd cut you down faster then you could blink." She said before her eyes locked onto Dante and Haral.

"Did you think I did not know who you were Dante? I know what it's like. Not many see anything different but the Angel of Death when they look at me." She said and narrowed her eyes. "I did not push for you to tell me, nor would have." She said and Cub stood beside Exile staring at Dante with the same compassion he once looked at Exile with. Exile raised her head. "But you made the mistake, fae. You came into my pack and accusing someone of plotting to harm my pack like I do not know how to protect it." Her claws glowed dangerously. "This is my land, my pack, you would do well to start remembering it." She said with a snarl. "I am the Angel of Death, I know of worse histories and hate then anyone, I accept those like me, Dante might not be there yet but I know he wouldn't harm my pack unlike you, I don't know you. I know of your power and the dangers behind it, I know you recklessly use it and I know you've endangered my pack before."

"As I have said I am truly sorry for my actions, it was a foolish thing to do but I did not mean to harm anybody, and you're right I do use my powers recklessly" she said in apology. "However I didn't know that you about his history" she said looking daggers at Dante "I was only surprised to see him in your pack". Turning away and walking out of the forest.
Just notifying that this might be the last post for this week. Hw has been left till last.

Spike

Spike was running through the woods with a waggling tail. He was very glad that his new leader had chosen him to go hunting. Spike was certainly not a very strong or large wolf but his speed and agility were a good compensation for that. He decided to go look for either a rabbit or a deer, he had dealt with both a lot since he left his old pack. He knew that rabbits were dangerous when they were together, but alone they didn't stand a chance.

Spike perked his ears and stopped immediatly as he heard some sound close to him. He was sure that it couldn't be a rabbit, whatever made the sounds was pretty large. Spike sniffed the air and smelled another wolf's scent. He tried to stay calm as he felt the adrenaline racing through his muscles, he was curious what was going to happen and was Always ready to fight. He stood still, on 4 paws, his tail resting on his back and his ears perked as he looked around for any kind of movement. "Who is there?" he said loud and clear to make sure that the other wolf was able to hear him.

Noran immediately stopped watching the deer, and turned invisible. He went over to where he heard the sound.

There was another wolf there. Wait... he recognised him. It was one of Morgan's pack. A low growl of anger escaped his throat.

"So," He said, materialising in front of spike, surprising him, "One of Morgan's runts? Come to flush me out of this hunting ground again? Tell me, what is your name?"

Dante stared at Exile with a mixture of gratitude and respect. Slowly he walked up to his leader and touched his nose to her shoulder, the greatest sign of respect that a subordinating wolf could show. It was a move that had been done to him upon many occasions, but never had he done it himself. Never until now. "Exile, thy Angel of Death, you have and always will have my service. Weather it be as a friend, or just as a warrior. I swear upon my ancestors and upon my own life, that I will serve with you in your pack until my days come to an end." And with those words he created a bond, an unbreakable bone, that would tie his very soul to this pack. Dante drew back gradually, lingering for a moment at her ear. "Thank you." He whispered before lifting his head completely away from her.

Spike

Spike was surprised by the size of the other wolf, he was clearly able to see his muscles. Something reminded him of his brother, except that the color of their fur was exactly the opposite. Spike wasn't going to back down, the other wolf was in the wrong territory. He inspected the other wolf. "I should ask you first" he said calmly while looking right into the rogue's eyes. Spike was very confident of the situation which could clearly be seen by his stance.

"I suppose I ought to oblige. My name is Noran. I was beaten by a hair's breadth, unfairly, by my old pack's alpha. He sent me out so I wouldn't be able to kill him. Now I live here, and I believe I've met one of your pride, as well as Morgan's, before. Now, tell me your name."

Spike

There was no reason for Spike to not tell his name to the rogue that was called Noran. He relaxed a little as he realised that this wolf had no aggressive meanings at the moment. "My name is Spike" he said confident and clearly. "Could you please tell me what you are doing in our hunting grounds?" Spike said as he spotted the deer running away from the two wolves.

"What does it look like? Hunting. What else would i be doing here?"

He wasn't exactly warming to Spike. He did seem a bit dense.

Spike

Spike sighed after Noran answered his question. "Of course you are hunting here, but why are you hunting in our hunting grounds. I'm pretty sure Morgan will not like that, not at all. And you don't want to see him mad, trust me." Spike said. He knew that Morgan would probably rip Noran apart if Spike would tell him about this. He knew how merciless Morgan was when it came to fights, he had killed a complete pack not that long ago.

Noran was done with talking. He turned invisible, and began walking closer to Spike.

"This is why." He said, coming closer, invisibly, inaudibly, and un...smellably...

Spike

Spike was surprised by what Noran had done, but he had his own powers. His eyes turned icy blue and he stood still as he fully concentrated on Noran. It didn't last before a cracking sound could be heard and a smile appeared on Spike's face. Noran's paws had been frozen, making him unable to move and the cold mist revealing his position. Spike turned around with a smirk on his face as he spotted the freezing mist. "Gotya"

Noran struggled against the ice that bound his feet, eventually breaking free.

"If you think that little trick will work again, you've got another thing coming," as he went in for the kill, pouncing on spike.

Spike

Spike managed to get away from Noran. He raised his uncle to the sky and let out a long and loud howl, making sure that Morgan would be able to hear him. But this howl was also clearly heatable for Exile's territory. Spike smiled as he finished his howl. He couldn't see Noran but he was sure that Morgan had some plan for him and Spike was pretty sure that Morgan would arrive soon.

Shadow

Shadow immediately perked his ears as he heard the howl. He looked in the direction were to howl came from and waited for any other signs of presence of another wolf. He looked at Exile for a moment and actually wanted permission to go and find out what wolf had howled.

"You *******. Well, I suppose I'll see you soon." he said, going invisible again, turning away, and running off. He wasn't stupid, and had no intention of getting into a fight with Morgan's pack. At least, not all at once, he thought smugly to himself.

Two pups.....Kard returned the smile to Exile, though he still felt guilty. He liked pups. Their innocence was cute to see, compared to the harsh and cold world settling in this universe. "Kira...and Black Lake, is it? I would like to see them one day..." The adult muttered, with a small smile. "I do not doubt it." His tone was serious and undoubted. He knew that her power was something to fear, as he only had seen it twice, and was quite amazed by it, however deadly and powerful it was. He looked at Dante, peeking out the corner of his eye. He gave him a nonchalant look that implied that he forgave his use of the nickname once, but would slash his ear off if he said it again.

It'd been quite a long time since he returned here. Kard didn't really care about the affairs inside the pack, but.....Watching the three wolves, he stood on guard, his ears puckered up, eyeing their slightest movements. At least being the peacemaker could be good if something went wrong. Putting his muzzle in the wind, taking a deep breath, he perceived the same odours, yet midly different. Smoke and wood were there, though it was not always imbued with wolf blood. A howl rang from afar and made his attention snap towards the sound. It was a male voice. "What was that?" Kard snapped, his voice rumbling in the back of his throat.

(ALL HW DONE, YEAH)

Aaralyn pricked his ears up to a howl a howl that meant 'I'm in trouble', "that's Spike" said Aaralyn "that's Spike!" he shouted. Sprinting off in the direction of the howl. Spike soon came into view. Aaralyn came to a stop, not seeing any immediate danger he asked "what's this all about spike?, why did you alert us?"
