Fantasy Fairytales are real

Passing The Rabbit's Hole once more, Scarlet finally made it back to her car. The 1972 Camaro's black paint job gleamed in the light of the full moon, causing a small grin to flash over her lips as she unlocked the door and slid into the driver's seat.

He chuckled. "Well you'll get your room back." After a thoughtful glance around he sighed and put the empty milk glass in the sink. "I miss home," he murmured.

"Me too," she said softly as she sat up and stretched her arms over her head. "The bar makes it a little better but it's not the same," she said sadly. "It's more of a distraction than anything."

Ursula shivered then answered Mary's question. ''Oh you know. Our usual. You're in the mood for poker? Stay with us... Want to play chess? The trolls and Frankenstein are there to assist you, or if you just want to talk or play pool, go hang out with Dracula, Grendel and the others'' she said smirking. Whatever, you want, I guess'' she said as he played her game of poker with a few other ''monsters''

Immediatly, the bar's bell ringed and Jersey came back in. Robin released him earlier for good behaviour, and now he came back to his bar. Making way to his place, Jersey sat down and opened a bottle of spiced tequilla, gulping down withing a minute. Glancing arond, he noticed the bar was still kicking, so he was happy...

Suddenly Jefferson made for the door. "Do you want to see what I'm working on in my shop?" he asked.

"Sure," she said pausing for a moment and looking down at her clothing choices. She grabbed a pair of jean shorts from a laundry pile and pulled them on, sliding on a pair of shoes quickly. "Lead the way," she said, smiling at her friend.

He smiled at her and, still in his pajamas and barefoot, he walked out of the apartment and down the steps to the street. His mind began whirling as he waited for Alice to catch up, jogging in place.

Alice followed him quickly, as she tied her hair up into a ponytail on the top of her head.

He grinned and strode across the street, not stopping until he was in his little shop, surrounded by his hats again

Alice followed him in, walking over and purching herself on the counter. "I love it in here," she said happily, looking around.

He smiled. "So do I. And look." He pulled back a curtain to reveal a painstakingly-drawn mural of Wonderland. It was unfinished, but what was there was detailed, right down to the Caterpillar's toes. Jefferson sighed and admired it. "Like it?"

Alice's eyes widened and she gasped. "It's home," she said jumping down from the counter and walking closer.

"It's perfect Hatter, it really is," she said before kissing his cheek. "It was just what I needed, thank you for showing me."

He blushed slightly at the kiss and smiled. "You're welcome. Come by anytime to see it," he said, pulling the curtain over it again. "I'm also trying to get back home. To Marchie. He isn't here, no matter how much I've looked."

"Thanks Hatter," she said softly. "I'm sorry about Marchie, I know you two were close."

He shrugged. "We'll get back soon. Would you want to come home to Wonderland?"

"I'm hardly going to stay here Hatter," she said softly. "All of my friends are in Wonderland, and I can't go back to England. I was born in the 1950's."

"That's true." He smiled. "Then you're free to stay with me." He ran a hand through his hair and sighed. "Who do we know that can send us back?" he wondered aloud.

"No one that I know. The fairies lost their magic and Marchie isn't here. He was how I got to Wonderland fifty years ago," she answered despite the fact that she knew he was talking to himself again.

He frowned. "There has to be someone." With a snap of his fingers his eyes widened. "The Cheshire Cat!" he cried. "If anyone can do it she can!"

His shoulders drooped. "You haven't? She doesn't like me. I thought perhaps you knew where she was."

Alice shook her head. "I'm sure she's around. You know what she's like. She comes by when she wants and leaves when she wants."
