Mutations didn't cap Essence generally in 1E, either. Only for raksha. Non-raksha were only limited by willpower.
Not so. Lunars pp. 210-211, "Wyld Touched Exalted"

It states that Essence is capped at Willpower minus total mutation points.

Essence also costs more XP.

Aya, 1st ed, Wyld taint could get painfully expensive. Not so much of an issue when you're building a character, as you can decide how much you risk...but if it happens in game...not so fun. Accidentally end up in the Firewander district of Nexus when you find an Artifact portal...and, well...who knows how messed up you are...and that's if you're lucky and manage to leap back through immediatelly.

That is why give PCs in MY games a chancew to remove those mutations or buy them as merits/flaws and thus lose the XP penalty

And the Fair Folk book says that regular Mutations don't actually cost a Raksha Mutation points, if they're susstained by Charms.

A Pox costs 2 Motes and 1 Gossamer per story, an Affliction costs 4 Motes and 2 Gossamer per story, and a Blight costs 10 Motes and 4 Gossamer per story.  If you make them permanent, they cost points, but why bother, when a few Motes and a bit of Gossamer will keep them around for as long as you want.  And the power isn't even considered to be (word for contantly applied).

There are means of doing so in the setting already, although I'm not sure anyone but Solars and possibly Alchemicals are capable of doing so. The Solars have a Lore Charm that reaffirms reality in someone and removes mutations, and the Alchemicals could without much trouble develop a Man/God-Machine Protocol to do so for living things, given they already have one for reality itself, and that they have another one that Fundamentally Unmakes things.

Because raksha mote pools suck. And gossamer is more rare than it seems. Oaths are a better way for raksha to use mutations. Lunars as well.

biscuit? :P

It's a bloody cookie!

I've never figured out how people can confuse this:

this:

and this:

by using the same damn word.

But I guess that's the Englitch language.

The three pictures you posted were, in order: Scones, Crackers and Cookies. At no stage did you post a biscuit.

And biscuits are acceptable rewards. I offer biscuits, not cookies. Cookies aren't nearly as nice in general.

Then what's your bloody biscuit look like?
On our side of the pond, the top ones are biscuits.

And I've heard people call cookies and crackers 'biscuits', which is why I posted it as such.

Trust the inventors. Biscuits are biscuits:

It's like your silliness with "Jelly". You get funny looks over there asking for Jelly for dessert.. It's called JAM! Jelly is that unfortunately animal-derived dessert consisting of gelatine, water and flavouring.

No, calling candy 'sweets' is fucking ridiculous and sounds a bit childish in my opinion. So you can keep your sweets and I shall take my candy. :P

I want CANDY!

And that song was the reason I made sure my daughter wasn't named Candice like my wife's friend wanted.
