Damen & Night Wing


Damen woke up on a chair in a strange room. It took him a moment to remember what had happened, seeing Night Wing asleep on a bed reminded him. He got up, too awake to sleep. Walking past the bed, Damen decided to go for a walk, by becoming a shadow and shadow walking outside.

"Do you see that Iene? Look off in the distance." The dragon flew out of Iene's hand and began to grow to a reasonable size, just a little bigger then Iene. Kuma then began to head in the direction that he was talking about. "Kuma, slow down what is it?" Iene felt a yank as he was pulled forward by Kuma as Kuma moved away from him. Iene then began to follow after the creature, "Kuma, slow down would you?" He then looked where Kuma was dragging him and he could barely make out the shape of figures, no doubt Kuma could barley see them as well but the little dragon had seen it before Iene. "What do you think is happening over there?" Kuma said impatiently. After a quick walk the two of them were within feet of the strange sight Kuma had seen, it appeared to be a battle. "Kuma, I think you should get back inside. I don't think they would like to see another dragon creature." The dragon glared at him and then slithered closer to him. "If you insist." The dragon then began to shrink and went back into his body.

Sage kept sleeping , occasionally shifting and turning in the bed dishevelling the sheets. After a few minutes he opened his droopy lilac eyes as he sat up and rubbed them as he looked around for Allison to no avail. He stretched and yawned before he got out the bed and out the door. He passed Luca's room as the young was waking up. Sage went inside and picked the child up. " Morning Luca. " Sage said as his eyes were completely open and filled with life.
Luca hug Sage's neck. " Morning big brother. " Luca said , giggling as Sage left the room and went down stairs to see Allison attempting to cook. " Morning Ally. " he said as he set Luca down before sitting and watching Luca run over to Allison. He was glad some was making breakfast for once , he did like doing but it was tiring doing things around the house and caring for the occupants when his parents were away for a long period of time.

"Morning guys. I figured I'd make us all breakfast since you let me stay over, I hope you don't mind. It's just bacon and eggs, I don't really know how to cook much else." She replied, shrugging. "How do you like your eggs cooked. Sage? Luca?" She asked, smiling down at Luca before turning her attention back to the bacon.

A party, huh? Oscar thought a moment. Well, I'm free, and I've really got nothing better to do, so I may as well. "Sounds pretty cool. I just dropped off my latest date, so I guess I'll be coming alone. Wait, did you say you killed a dragon? What'd it do to deserve that? You'd think that if its scales were worth so much it'd do more to keep them to itself, after all."

"Awesome!" She shouted happily before telling him the address and giggling at his question of why she did it. "Well. At first we did it 'cause we were hungry. Then this guy named Rex suggested taking the scales, I came up with the idea of them being worth money, and it turned out they were. Fourteen thousand, to be exact." She explained. "So I got a house and stuffs. Now I'm inviting everyone I know to come over, gunna have a small party cause I can! Torr is out passing out the invitations, currently. It's gunna be awesome!" She added excitedly.

Reed got up and followed her. "I can find him if you want. Also 2 stories are the worst for this reason alone."

Taylor looked on her wall, and a newspaper was hanging from a thumbtack with her picture on the front page. "Looks like I got framed. Well, I'm screwed," she said quietly. "I don't leave newspapers around, especially if my face is on it..."

As soon as she felt the hand, she froze up, not moving for fear of being attacked. Then she heard the voice speak and followed her gaze. "I have no home... Not anymore..." She muttered, not looking her in the eye.

Kazuhiro stared at the door with horror in his eyes. "I think she won't want food... also I think she's here..." Crashing through the door Mizuki walked up to Kazuhiro with a rage scary enough to have mentally caused a death sentence. "Kazuhiro Tomioka. First you get caught, then you loose your chain scythes, and now her!" Pointing at Ryd she went back to glaring at Kazuhiro. "Tell me why I shouldn't skin you alive myself..." Kazuhiro chuckled nervously and held his plate in front of her. "Steak?"

"Please don't hurt him!" Ryd said as she stepped in front of him protectively. Her cloak shifted from gray to blue. "Please don't..." She whispered as she shakily held her arms in front of her to defend herself.

Kandra Bal Magna

"Oh...how sad..." Kandra said as he sat cross legged in midair. "Oh, where are my manners. My name is Kandra Bal Magna...I'm looking for special people...people like you...to recruit for a little...let's call it a righteous, educational and risky expedition team for the expanse of arcane knowledge." He said. "Now...if you choose to join me...You'll have everything you want. A home, friends..." An eye glowed weirdly through the shadow of his hood. "Your honor..." He finished. "All you have to do...is take my hand, accept my offer..." He held out a glowing hand.

" Scrambled. " Sage and Luca , with Luca saying it as scrubled , causing the two brothers to laugh. Luca went over to Sage and crawled his lap as Sage looked at Allison and ran his hand through Luca's hair absentmindly. " I need to teach you to cook if bacon and eggs are all you can do. " Sage said to the girl , he was confident that he could teach her , his mother thought him ever since he was five. He smiled as he remembered the memories.

A young Sage was helping a tall immensely beautiful woman with long blonde hair and large lilac eyes that held kindness and love in them. She was cooking lunch while Sage handed her ingredients. " Momma can you teach me cook as good as you. " Sage asked , hope sparkling in his large eyes causing the woman to smile and nod. " Of course, you need to cook for your future husband. " she said causing Sage to giggle and nod while his mother also joined in laughing before going back to work. It was weird, she knew he was different from most boys his age ever since he was a toddler. It must of been motherly thing if even his dad was surprised while his mother looked at him knowingly when he came out.


Sage loved those memories so much and missed them, he hardly got to do things with his mom anymore , after Luca was born his mother's and father's businesses began to take off and they were hardly home anymore. Sage sighed sadly , he really wanted those days back.

"Oh? Are you sure?" Kandra chuckled. Kandra uncrossed his legs before landing on the ground gently. The surrounding earth shattered and ripped apart, leaving the both of them standing on a lone pillar in the center of a large crater. "Do you really have your honor?" He plucked the spear off her hands and into the crater. "Tell me! Do you have your friends by your side, ready to strike me down? Do you have your loved ones, ready to aid you during this time? Do you have the might of your entire species, baring. Down. My. Back?" He questioned with fervor.


"You don't." He said as the spear flew back to his hands. "Because your friends left you alone. Your loved ones turned their backs on you. And I'm guessing a goo portion of your race doesn't believe you." The ground repaired itself as he handed her her spear back. "There's a reason why your wings are black, not white." He offered her his glowing hand once more. "You might have honor. But it's been trampled upon by others. Dirtied. Stained. Broken." He announced.


"But let me tell you something. If you aren't stupid then why are you wandering like a lone spirit? Lost on the crossroads of the afterlife?" He questioned. "Are you content with your inaction? Do you wish to live on like this? Live like this is the fate you deserve forevermore?" His hand glowed with a myriad of colors. "Do you wish to keep falling or to rise above this? To be able to return to your home and prove them wrong? Join me. Awaken the pride of your honor and use it to carve your way through. Reclaim your dignity! Take it! Feel it! Savor it!" he paused. "Or you can turn away and leave. Leave and remember that you refused this, refused the start of a long, righteous journey of self discovery and growth, refused...a chance to start anew under the banner of glory."

"You are free to use the library, armory, and training grounds. Your...let's call him captain, is currently busy but I'll see if I can get him to take you to his next mission. Your room is on the top floor, third door of the left hall from the spiral stairs." He started walking away. "I have two rules though. Ask permission first whenever you feel like making gear, learning a spell or leaving the castle. And stay away from the vault." With the rule said, Kandra made his way to his throne room.

Hitsugya heard Rud shouting and running in front of Kaz, not something you see all the time. People risking things to save others. He chuckled at the girl and let his amber gaze follow over to where all of the 'action' was. "Relax no ones getting hurt" Said Hitsugya, not particularly worrying about any of what was going on since they got back from the Emerald Enclave

Allison giggled at Luca before nodding, "Alright, scrambled and scrubled it is." She replied, teasing Luca. Sliding the bacon off onto a plate she started cooking the eggs. "That'd be awesome. I mean, I can cook other things, but they usually come in the form of TV Dinners and rice pouches, heh." She replied, laughing nervously. "Maybe if you teach me how to cook I can invite you and Luca over to the house and I can cook fr everyone sometime." She added.

She then noticed someone else walking up, though she didn't exactly register them as a threat. Walking to stand beside Ken she resumed her normal happy demeanour. "Hey, do you know that guy Ken? He keeps staring at us." She asked him, pointing to Iene.

Iene laughed at how the girl addressed him. "If you want to know who I am you could ask me rather then just point at me." He said jokingly, "I am Iene, for your information." Kuma began to stir feeling left out, "what does the creature look like, can I eat it?" Iene looked at his shoulder expecting to see Kuma, "no Kuma you can't eat it, it is a person." The water spirit then came flying out of his body and flew around him serval times before landing on his shoulder, "it is hideous, why did you bring us here?" Iene glared at the dragon for a second, "This is Kuma, what is your name" He said talking to the girl, "and it wasn't my idea you were the one who dragged me here, and mind your manors wouldn't you!" The dragon bowed its head and hid its face from Iene.

Senki arched a brow as Iene seemed to start talking to himself, come to find out it was a small water dragon. While it paled in comparison to Atsuko's size it was quite clear what it was. She couldn't understand what it was saying, so she assumed it was bound to the guy. "I'm Senki and this is Ken. Nice to meet you." She told him, smiling faintly. "I see you have a water dragon too, how long have you had him?" She asked curiously.

Iene kept an eye on his mischievous dragon when he began to talk again. "Oh I see, I guess that is a reasonable excuse not to ask me." He frowned while he said this because he didn't really believe what he was saying. "It is a pleasure to meet the both of you. I have been with Kuma for about six years now." The dragon then blurted out "ya and the whole time he has been nagging me relentlessly," not remembering that Iene was the only one that could understand him. "Would you have rather I let you die?" It was obvious that the dragon was thinking, "well it would have been better then having to deal with your nagging. Kuma behave, Kuma don't eat the nice people, Kuma don't kill in cold blood. I mean seriously non stop always telling me to behave." In reality Kuma would never hurt anyone he just wanted to annoy his friend. The dragon leaped off of Iene's shoulder and grew in size, it then took a few sniffs of Senki trying to make sense of this creature. "It smells funny." Iene took a few steps back incase Kuma tried something funny, if the dragon did he would be yanked back because of their bond.

Ken looked at the new dragon and watched as it began to sniff Senki. Ken then turned to the person and waved to them,"Hey." he said as he continued to watch the dragon sniff around. It was so odd as to see dragons practically acting like dogs. Ken felt an odd feeling...jealousy. How come those two had such great bonds with dragons but when Ken summoned his it'd turn around and try to chomp his head off. Maybe it was just rotten luck?

She arched a brow as the dragon seemed to go on about something, but simply shrugged when she couldn't understand it, though she had to admit she was curious to figure it out. She stepped back slightly and wrapped her wings around herself when it came up sniffing her, however. "What's it doing? It's not going to eat me, right?" She asked, pointing to Kuma.
