Fantasy Faereach City of Magicks (Now Accepting)

Rex couldn't see anyone around, yet he still felt uncomfortable. "The night has a thousand eyes,," he muttered to himself (Cookies to anybody who gets the reference) He moved away from the unconscious man, starting to feel like scum. "Is this what I've always been? A petty crook?" He thought to himself, feeling slightly disgusted. For a moment, he was tempted to give the money back, but instead decided that he needed it. "He was just at the wrong place at the wrong time" Rex justified to himself as he knelt and placed his finger against the mans neck, making sure he had a heart beat. Relieved that the victim was still alive, Rex backed off. He tossed the stick aside since it was half broken, deciding he would need a more modern weapon. It would be very difficult to change his instincts now, for it was all he had to rely on. He moved through the alley quickly, looking around carefully. This is what he was looking for, a closed Blacksmith shop! Rex stood casually by the corner, trying to figure out a plan. A dollar couldn't buy anything, he would need to break in, get what he needed, then get out. With that thought in mind, he continued to scope out the area, waiting for the street to be clear. This heist would require extra caution, due to the unusual residents of the city, getting caught could be deadly. A few moments later, a brick flew through the window, shattering the glass into a million pieces. Not a single moment later, Rex bolted into the stop and hastily looked around for any useful weapons. He only stopped his feverish search for a split second to stare at his hand. It had a few cuts from the glass, but that was not the focus of attention, it was the lack of blood. "What the hell,," He stared at his fingers in astonishment, waiting for it to bleed, but nothing happened.

"Kinda like a Zombie, but more human? Like..I dunno. It's odd. Umm.." She replied, trying her best to think of an accurate description. "Kinda..like..a musky dirty smell. Like they haven't bathed in a week?" She added.
I sense that, but the source is not here." Ana said standing.
I sense that, but the source is not here." Ana said standing.

Ferra

Ferra stood up almost immediately after Ana, "You can? Where?!" She asked her, genuinely surprised she was able to sense something with her vauge description. "Can you lead me to them? I can't sense things no where near as well as you or I'd go myself." She added.

Large footsteps approached, making Rex look up from his hand. In the back of the dark Blacksmith shop stood a large demonic-looking canine, with red glowing eyes. "Jesus!" Rex exclaimed, stepping back quickly. Even normal guard dogs were trouble enough, but this thing looked worse! Knowing that every second would count, Rex began to glance around in search of any weapons that would be useful immediately. Strangely enough, the beast simply stared at him with confusion, as if this intruder was not a person but was instead an alien object. Rex stood still, his mouth opened slightly as he pondered why this guard did not see him as a threat. Growing a little more bold, he slowly moved past the curious monster. All the while, it just stared at him like he was nothing more then a phenomenon. Rex cast a quick glance down at his hand, not lowering his guard, was it the lack of blood that caused the strange non-reaction from this creature? Time was ticking, and he had to continue his mission in case the beast decided to change its mind. Still keeping a wary eye on the motionless monster, he began to pick out a few knives and stuffed them into his belt. Moving to the desk to see if he could find money, something below the counter caught his attention. It was a pistol, tucked away by the garbage can. Most likely it was a self defense weapon the owner kept around, which was now being involuntarily donated to the robber. With a glint of satisfaction on his face, Rex pocketed the pistol, then grabbed what little cash had been left in the drawers.

Iyu Minati

Iyu continued to watch the undead move, silently stalking him in the dark. The further interactions with his surroundings proved that he was undead to her, or at least some type of dark creature. While he was busy with the drawers she moved to sit on the desk and waited for him to notice her.

(Ok So I'm gonna be gone for some time, I'll reply when I can okay?)

(Fine by me)

Rex closed the drawer quietly, slightly disappointed at the small amount of money, but satisfied with his new collection of weapons. Sure, he was robbing a place, but it wasn't out of malice, it was for necessity. With that justification in mind, he stood up carefully, ready to make a clean getaway. $Nade Heidt$ He chuckled softly, closing his own eyes, and relishing the feeling of being close to Illoi again. It'd been so long since he felt... anything other than crippling sadness in his heart. This feeling... gratitude... he hadn't felt it in a thousand years. Sure, most of him wished that this could've been easier- after all, if Illoi didn't know him, then this'd be easier on the both of them. They'd be able to go on with their own lives without pain or struggle- well, she would- and things would be as they should. But, even as he thought these things, he knew he was bullshitting himself. He'd be lying if he didn't admit to himself that he wanted this. To be remembered... it wasn't even a dream. A fantasy. For so long, it'd been an impossibility. For some reason, it sparked that tiny bit of hope within himself- it made him able to believe, once more, that everything he did had a reason, and this torture... it would finally end.

"...Hey, Illoi." His humor had returned to his voice, and a small smile was present on his face once again. "Not that I don't love gettin' lapdances from lovely ladies like yourself, but we've got a whole day ahead of us. We can... face this later. We've got to think about what we're going to do against our next opponents, you dig?" It was a start, anyways. It wasn't like it was the funniest joke he'd made all day, but it was a start, anyways.

>Falcon Witzchev< "Eh? Oh, just some old games." He glanced down at Nyr, a small grin on his face. By now, he'd found the other two games he'd been searching for. Back home, he'd had things like what he'd bought before- chess, a deck of cards, and a special game where you tried to stack spinning tops. He'd only found four of the sixteen tops he'd need, but it was a start. "I got us a deck of cards- nothing too special. But, you can do more with this deck of cards than most people realize. There are all kinds of games you can play with them- solitaire, War, etc. etc. Then, I got us a chess set- I don't know if you know how to play, but I can teach you, if you want. And I got some tops." He smiled fondly, casting a reminiscing glance at the bag in his open hand.

The old lady could see him look at his games longingly, and smiled. She was glad to see someone appreciate older games, and not just the new stuff. They had a short chat before he bought their items, and after that, he and Nyr were on their way back home. It was a short, uneventful walk there, but it was nice. Walking hand in hand like this made Falcon feel normal. Sure, he had scales, fangs, and a tail, but being by Nyr almost made him forget all that. She was special like that- making him forget all his problems, and making him feel normal. He supposed that was her "super power". And was it a good one.

And just like that, they were home. He unlocked their door, and ushered her in, slipping in behind her and shutting the door. "Well, we're home. I'm going to go check these games out. You can take your shower down that hall-" he pointed a finger down the hallway beneath their loft/master bedroom. "-I'll be in here." He said, plopping down on the couch, checking out his purchases in his bag.

Melchio Legatus Melchio simply smirked, and rubbed his chin smugly. It was obvious he was proud of his heritage, and thought his father quite important. He gave Ian a wink as he led him along. "You'll see. I'm sure you two'll get along well, though. He loves HOLY beings!" He said this with a grand smile, it managing to stay on his face, even as he looked back at Malorn and Falin. "I'm not sure if he'll get along with you, Malorn, but I'm sure he'll be okay with Falin- he's a pretty chill guy, after all."

They only had to walk a tad bit more before they spotted the spot where Melchio's father stood. It was an empty parking lot, kept in decent shape, but with large, long, jagged cuts in the pavement from years of damage- wear, tear, and the like. No parked cars could be seen, and the lights that hung overhead were cracked, and some were even missing. Even still, Melchio's father seemed to be able to brighten the place. Still, it was hard to see the resemblance between father and son- after all, one looked human, whilst the other was clad in DEMONIC armor.

In the square stood a tall, muscular being, with a pair of bat-like wings sprouting from the shoulders, which were lined with Angelic Foil, alighting in the skybound sun in a glinting gold manner. His entire body was encased in a grey-black, leathery armor that was lined with Angelic Foil, giving his body the look of twilight- two opposing forces working together to form a powerful, magnificent being, whose raw power seemed to equal Malorn's. His tail had rings of the gold stuff wrapping around it, as it barely touched the ground, it not being incredibly long. His torso was encased in an amethyst-like armor that radiated DEMONIC energies, though a pair of bright, lavender-white spots could be seen on his knees where HOLY energy leaked out from within the armor. When he turned to face the incoming group, his face was not visible behind a mask of the same black, leathery armor that made up the rest of his armor. The eyes of his mask were lined with Angelic foil, like a miniature crown, and said eyes were white-crimson. His hair was a light grey, exploding out from behind him, and curling towards the back of his neck. To finish himself off, he had a pair of maroon ram's horns, curling out from his temples, and curling above his head.

For a moment, he stared at them, arms at his sides, and stance relaxed, then he brought up his hand, and offered them a friendly wave.

"Hello, all. You must be my son's friends. I doubt many of you know who I am, besides Malorn and the Fallen Angel, but it's good to meet you." His eyes crinkled at their edges, as if he were smiling under his mask. "I am the Life Angel Kajah. Why don't you all introduce yourselves to me?"

Faereach City of Magicks (Now Accepting) - Lore

Illoi Kotori She snorts a bit, rolling off to the side so that she was sitting next to him. "I don't know what we're gonna do against our next opponents. I can't come up with a strategy until I know who we're going against." She huffs a bit, wrinkling her nose a bit. She was glad to see that Heidt was back to his usual self, sort of. That much was at least a bit comforting. She sighs softly, crossing her legs and resting her palms on her knees.

"We have a lot to discuss, you know. But I'll need to make sure Nyr is still okay after all this tournament stuff is over." She giggles, seeming to be back to her usual self as well. She pulls her hair into a high pony tail, leaving the front parts hanging down over her shoulders. She loved to play with her hair, especially to do it up in different styles. She hums, thinking about what she could do for the next round.

Nyr Frostbane Nyr giggles a bit, giving him a slight hug before heading down the hallway. She was happy to see him happy, if she were to be honest. If he wanted to teach her the games of his childhood, she'd let him. Once she was alone and had time to think in the bathtub, she leaned back and sunk down, sighing a bit in relief. She didn't know what she was going to do about...everything else in her life. She knew that she couldn't just ignore life. It was tempting, of course, but she had other things to do. For one, she'd have to find Melchio and Mykky, and make sure they were okay. Second, she'd have to find Illoi and make sure she was okay as well. It was stressful, so she grumbled and sunk down even further. So much to do, and so little time to accomplish it. She slowly begins to wash her hair, scrubbing gently at her scalp as she does so.

Aquios and Mogmal Mogmal stays where he was, keeping the little water elemental on his shoulder as the chains surrounded them. This was going to be interesting to say the least, but he was half tempted to just say they forfeit. He didn't, however, instead he just stood there. There was no way for him to win if he couldn't have Illoi by his side commanding him. He stares with a passive gaze at the opponents.

Vix watched as Veyd introduced himself to the powerful being. he could sense the power radiating off the Kajah and he wasnt sure how to feel about this. Vix Knew he had a spiritual connection because he was a kitsune but he always tried to avoid anything to do with the spiritual. the fact of the matter is kitsune's history is a very complex one and he wasn't feeling very comfortable stepping into a world, his been trying to avoid. he didn't know if he was demonic or Holy, he was simple a Fox-spirited. he really didn't want to show how uncomfortable he was and also didn't want to come off as rude to a power being. He figure he would be next to Introduce himself. he let go of Melchio hand and step froward " I am Vix and as you can see i am a kitsune. It's a pleasure to meet you, Sir." he then gave the life angel a chekky grin "Also i like to thank you for father Melchio over here. He truly is my most precious gifts i have." Vix didnt care if this kajah was an angel of life, he would treat him no different then anyone else. Plus he really did want to thankful to him for fathering Melchio because melchio has become one the happiest things he has in his life. he wasn't sure if it was appropriate to introduce him as melchio lover as well, so he figure that was something melchio and Kajah should speak about later.

Iyu Minati

Iyu quietly batted away the monster with her fox tail as she watched the undead leave. "Do you actually think you're alive?" She called out as she moved to stand up, kicking away the monster as it came to attack her once again. "I know what you are, but the question is: Do you?" Condemner clanked as she made her way towards him.

"I would rather not go into details." He quickly replied, he might have swung his sword at her but he felt a lack of motivation and dispelled his armor and sword. "I surrender, I will allow you to enjoy the winning's" He then turned and walked out.

(Sorry, I needed to surrender now so because I don't know much I will be able to do this week.)

Allisons' jaw dropped for two reasons. 1. The dude just surrendered to a brawl for a million bucks. 2. She just WON a million bucks. "I..I won? Oh my god this is awesome! I gotta tell everyone! Woo!" She shouted happily, immediately running to the elevator and walking in. "Only one problem...what floor are they on.." She thought to herself, frowning slightly. "Oh well, I'll try them all!" She declared, running her hand down the panel and poking literally all the floors.

Pegasus began to lead the floor to find Sarah in the library and give her, her knew sword when he heard a beep and ran to the elevator to get in with who ever was in it. He hid the sword with his suit and when the doors opened he got in not allow who ever was inside out. "Allison, great job on winning, if you come with me I can get your prize money." He then closed the doors and they began to go to the next floor.

Concentrating on his own energy he tried to harness some of the power of the dragon within. His power only increasing as his mind was filled with visions of his past. "It doesn't matter. . .They don't matter" said his alternate self in the back of his head. The Grasslands were underneath him so at least no one would be hurt. Taking a moment to say one last thing before he attempted to try this technique he said "Sorry. . . Tessai" and in a split second his eyes glowed dark red and he could no longer hold back the dragon within him. He crouched on the ground, gripping his head from the pain and memories before a few red sparks struck from the sky and a huge explosion was discharged from his massive amount of power.

Kai Evans Noticing the power and its scary familiar feeling Kai had a flashback to the Black Chronicles of his people. "No... it can't be... I'm the- how can it still exist... that black curse... it should be extinct along with my people..." Morphing into his dragon form he opened a portal and flew directly to the source of the familiar curse. "I will NOT allow the Chronicles to repeat itself! NEVER in the entire existence of ANY timeline!" Flying through his second portal he was high above the source in the Blossoming Gardens. "No... black lightning!? That... no... how could he be alive?"

Tessai Looking up he felt what had happened at his name being mentioned before the action. "You have not failed me yet. You're simply beginning to accept this dark power... now you must learn to control it. Then, you'll be ready."

Allison was a bit surprised that Pegasus greeted her so suddenly, she tried to peek around him but couldn't. Oh well, she was more focused on her money and telling Sage and the rest now anyway. "Awesome! Thank you. How are Sage and the kids doing?" She asked them. "I wasn't sure what floor they were on so I kinda poked all of them." She admitted before shrugging.

"Well Sage and his little brother are on floor fifty one but Sarah went exploring one of my libraries." He then pulled out some money from his suit hiding the sword still, "lets see, hum... mostly hundreds, do you take checks or do you want cash?" He then took out a key and put it in the elevator resting it and he pressed the button for the floor Sage was on.

After the explosion it didn't reach that far beyond the vicinity of where Hitsugya was, any other people (@The Imperial Flame @Mitchs98) in the Blossoming Grasslands would've felt the shockwave. The being that was there looked exactly like Hitsugya. Same upper body, same black wings. . .But something was off. He had piercing blood red eyes and grey deathly like skin. The dragon mark on his back had only grown to spread to his entire back. His wings illuminated and sparked with Black Lightning and he looked above to see Kia.

Allison nodded, "Oh. I see." She replied. Well, at-least she seemed to be getting along with Pegasus well. Though, she wished she could've dueled Sage, she also guessed this meant she lost. When the topic of the money was brought up she was snapped out of her thoughts. "Uh. A check is fine. I still can't believe I won, to be honest.." She replied, sincerely in disbelief.

He pulled out a check book and quickly signed a check of one million dollars to her and then handed it to her. "I would be nice to continue talking to you but I need to see Sarah stick around and you can use the facilities to you like, compete against anyone you want if they agreed. He then pushed her out the elevator in a gentle manor into the room with sage and rode the elevator to find Sarah. "Sarah." He called out when he stepped out of the elevator.

@The Imperial Flame @Mitchs98) in the Blossoming Grasslands would've felt the shockwave.
"Watashi o korosu tame ni kite? Ganbarou... Kia... Tessai" asked Shi no burakku doragon (Not his real name, just a title)
Kai Evans "You're already dead. In fact, you shouldn't exist... so how..." Kai continued to look through the memories of that time, to find anything that could possibly have allowed this one soul, the one that had caused so much grief, so much havoc, to survive. "How do you exist in a timeline where the Chronicles never happened? How... am I not the only cursed dragon left."

Tessai "Nonesense, spirit. I have no quarrel with you... yet." With that Tessai continued walking away, vanishing as if he was never there.
