Futuristic Factory 124 [Mutant RP - Started]

He looks at a girl who seems to be smiling at him, he tries not to act cold but his eyes go hard and his mouth does not move an itch, he try's to make it feel less awkward but he just turns from her, slowly he opens his mouth, his voice catching in his throat he tries to speak "h....hi" his face flushes a deep red, he had forgotten when the last time he had talked to someone, it felt weird as the words rolled over his tounge, he tried to shake the feeling but it stayed stuck to him like glue.

Luna glanced over at Reed, not wanting to be rude by interrupting anything. Since she didn't seem to be speaking at the moment, she turned to look back at the apparently shy boy. "Hello," she replied, still smiling. "What's your name?"

"levian...yo..you can call me lev" his face is turned from her know, as his face flushes a even darker red, almost as if he is suffocating, Lev tries to stop himself from feeling shy, from feeling insecure, but he feels as if his emotions are raw and boring into his side, he looks at the girl. and then looks away as if looking at her would do him bad.

Luna nodded. "Nice to meet you, Lev," she said. She noticed his large wings, which seemed to big for the small, crowded space of the cabin. He, like she and Alec, must have come from the part of the factory where they performed animal-related experiences. "My name is Luna. Your wings are quite nice." After this, she resolved to be silent--Levian looked uncomfortable, and Reed probably had more things to say.

Alec stayed quiet in the back of the room. He didn't have anything to say yet, though he watched the newcomer more suspiciously. He hadn't answered Alec and seemed far too nervous. Alec felt more vulnerable in his human form, but kept it in case he needed to speak to the others.

((do try to remember, my character is a little insane))

His face lights with a smile as he say's this, but she goes back to waiting for everyone else to engage in conversation, he sighs as his wings start to ache, walking out the door and leaving the door open he stretches out his wings in the open space, still paying attention to everyone else, of course until a slight wind change makes him almost tumble to his ass.

Ceres maintained her silence and took the moment to examine the others. They didn't seem like the most friendly of people, except for the girl talking to the winged guy. Reed seemed alright, though they'd only spoken a couple times prior to breaking out. When she thanked them for coming, Ceres simply nodded, waiting for further instruction.

As another gust of wind takes his wings he falls backwards and laughs out mocking himself, he tries to get back up but forgets to pull in his wings, and he gets dragged back. Folding in his wings, he stands up and walks to the cabin again and enters, a red blush on his face, he is embarrassed, but he had fun.

Nick observed the people in the room again. 'How is this ever going to work?' He thought to himself. Their personalities seemed or conflict with each other, and he had issues listening to orders. He assumed Reed was going to try and deliver orders, anyway. He cleared his throat and said his first words "If you're waiting my time, this building goes down in flames."

"Reed, it's good to see you again and all, but let's get to it. I'd really prefer not to stay here long, not with all the recent activity," Alec said from the back of the room. His voice was rough from disuse, as if he hadn't spent much time as a human lately. "Have you got a plan up your sleeve, or is that why we're here?"

"A little of both," Reed responded, finally speaking up again. "I have a goal in mind, and some idea of how to achieve it. I just need a solid plan of action, and obviously we all need a little training." She glanced around the room at the awkward group of mutants gathered in various places. "And, of course, you all have got to agree to do it. Otherwise, you'll be free to go."

"Yes, the factory. Revenge. All of that is good. But I've heard whispers of many more factories, not only in America, but all over the world, particularly in Europe. What about those? Will we help the children and adults trapped there?" Alec asked, walking through the small crowd of mutants. His green eyes seemed to hold his unasked question: Will our quest for revenge ever end?

Reed sighed. "I'm not even sure if we can take down one, so let's not get ahead of ourselves." She stopped, and thought for moment. "I suppose if all goes well, I don't see why we wouldn't take down as many as we can. But I'm not asking any of you to do that yet, let alone at all at this stage."

Alec dipped his head. "Very well. I just ask that we rescue the others in the factory and not forget about them in the attack. Can't have them caught in the crossfire." He stepped back, satisfied with her response.

Ceres nodded, agreeing with everything Alec had said up until that point. "I had a friend back there. He's like my little brother. I'd like to make sure that he and the others get out safely," she chimed in, lacing her fingers behind her head as she leaned back in the chair. "What kind of training do you have in mind, Reed? As far as I can tell, most of us are physically fit, and we don't know how much we can do with our abilities." She paused, then continued. "Then again, that might just be the key to us getting stronger."

As people talked, Nick took down mental notes. He personally had spent many hours trying to home his abilities, but they were still dangerous. His most honed ability was to release heat energy. "Just let the girl talk" he said, not looking at anyone for longer than a few seconds. "How is she ever going to tell us her plan if we all keep interrupting her and forcing her to answer our questions? Maybe if we wait for her to finish, we won't have questions."

Ceres' attention snapped to guy who spoke. "Oh, shut up," she tossed with a scowl, mildly irritated by the guy's remarks. She wasn't in one of her brighter moods that night and couldn't help but be vexed. "We gave a little insight. Most of us aren't here just to help out another mutant. I wanna walk away from this satisfied, and that's not gonna happen if Reed's the only one participating in the discussion. No offense, Reed," she added. The guy probably hadn't meant it in a mean way, but she didn't care. Making pointless comments like the ones he made would only slow down their progress.

"I'm here to help out a lot of mutants" Nick said in a cold voice. "The more that survive, the better. And I think we should let Reed talk." He never raised his voice even a little, and he kept it steady and even. He wasn't going to waste any more time on this girl unless she pushed it. "Go on, Reed."

Ceres was unfazed by what he probably thought was an intimidating voice. 'Teenagers aren't scary, kid,' she thought before saying, "Then it looks like we're on the same page." She was seriously starting to dislike this boy. He was unnecessarily cutting off their participation in the meeting with no justification.

"Reed may have called us here, but we all have something to contribute. So shut it, and let people talk if they want to," Alec snapped at the boy. He didn't recognize him, but knew he was from the same factory. A hint of a growl had entered his tone. "But do continue, Reed," he added in a smoother voice.

Did that boy growl at him? He gave a small, amused smile, chuckled, and shook his head. Like a growl was supposed to scare him. "The irony in all of this," he said in a slightly amused tone, "is that you keep saying to let you guys talk and give input, but you tell me to shut up and ignore my input without a second thought. I made a comment that I thought would save time, and now look where you've taken it."

"You didn't give input. You were trying to tell us to be quiet. So shut up, and let us talk. We all have the same goal. Reed isn't the only one who can make decisions," Alec said sharply, eyes flashing. Alec could feel his teeth elongating inside his mouth, a sign that he was losing his self control. Taking a deep breath, he forced the anger out of his tone and continued, "Like it or not, without working together, we'll never take the factory down. So please don't start trouble where there isn't any."

"Now here's a problem" Nick said less amused. "If you boss me around, I blatantly ignore. The last several times I have been told to shut up, I talked. Perhaps you took my first comment as pushy or mean, but the truth is I was just trying to help. If I wanted to be a hindrance, do honestly think I would have come all this way?"

Ceres sighed, rubbing her temples. His logic wasn't up to par, but that was expected. "Yeah, I know you're trying to help. We all know. I just really don't care for it when someone tells me to not speak. I have a lot to say, and I'll wait my turn, but on my own accord. Not from the order of some kid I've never seen, much less spoken to before." She glanced at him, looking him over. "Let's just stop here. I'm sure Reed's ready to move on."

This time Nick just nodded in agreement. Everything she just said, he could agree with. Except he didn't feel like he was bossing anyone around. Yah, he could have been more tactful, but he was still on edge. He also disposed the "kid" comment. That implied she thought he was helpless and stupid. Him being here proved he was neither.
