Tulak has the backing of the court of the western terrestrial deities. Could there have been some business he was sent on?

That can work. What kind of business were you thinking? Spying?Tulak has the backing of the court of the western terrestrial deities. Could there have been some business he was sent on?

Cool. Just wanted to make sure.I'll post soon, I've got guests for the holiday so been a bit busy since yesterday.
jaydude For what it's worth, I'm going with the assumption a coastal satrapy has some sort of stationary long-range weapons (like ballistae) in the event of Lunar, Lintha, etc. attacks. Threats are too large, varied, and terrifying for there to be any respectable defense force without them. Advanced stuff has probably all been confiscated or too rare in our case. That and I don't expect a Longbow would have the reach or power for even tickling this behemoth.[Question for the ST - does this city have artillery?]
Ah, I'm pretty sure it's just going to get annoyed and wander off if we give it a bloody nose.
Keep telling yourselves that.Pretty much. I'd consider dealing it a visible wound and pushing it to a stalemate/retreat after it breaks some stuff a great result personally.
Well it's certainly not going to die I don't think we can hurt it at all, myself.Keep telling yourselves that.
Misja is the Garda Bird.Ijara is slightly taken aback, but tries not to show it. Questioning the manifest will of the Dragons is frowned upon, but she's very uncertain what one Daiklave is going to do to something that size. Then again, they weren't Chosen to sit back and let people die. So, up it is.
"At once, sir. There will be a brief but intense light," she says by way of warning. She steps forward into an area conveniently cleared by the reduction of everyone present to a fine paste. Still not throwing up. She turns to Misja, the tiny flaming sparrow now perched on her shoulder and gives her a look that says this is awkward but it's an emergency and we won't make a habit of it and I did create you so you owe me. Misja's eyes glower back at her like two smoldering coals as she snorts flames derisively, but after a moment she hops off, Ijara covers her eyes, and the room is filled with a brilliant burst of light and heat, prompting cries of fear from those still struggling to evacuate. When the light fades Misja stands perched on the rubble in her full majesty, thirty foot wings of flickering flame extended. Ijara pulls free the belt cinching her robe and threads it around Misja's broad shoulders in an impromptu harness, then climbs on her back. Without Misja's blessing the heat would be intolerable, with it merely a comfort at altitude.
Ijara looks up at the behemoth blotting out the sun above and tries not to panic. She looks to Sojiro over her shoulder and tries to keep her voice steady, "At the ready, sir."
Oh yeah, I hadn't seen the IC posts when I asked my question.Misja is the Garda Bird.
Appropriate Attribute + Appropriate combat-related Ability. What is Join Battle in this system? I'm away from my computer at the moment.
I forget where it is, but there's a setting somewhere to automatically mark a thread you post in as watched. Otherwise I'd be spacing a lot more on these types of things.Only just realised that I hadn't set the IC thread as watched. Derp.
Oh no, not at all. I more wanted to give Ijara a chance to react to both Sojiro's actions and the sight of some Aigonites flying towards the ruined palace, rather than just have them spot Misja and swarm your group before you could find time to respond. That, and I may have made some assumptions on how Rykon planned to handle the situation when he had Sojiro take cover.Pardon, do what sort of thing? Is there something in particular you'd like her to do?
So I can’t throw Ishmael?EbonChevalier Psychie Sherwood
Something I forgot to mention IC: you'll all be starting as Short Range from the Aigonites.
