Hey sure, we worship the same Primordial after all.

...

You can't bring the fire in though, it's just plain hazardous.

cool the fire can be shut off you know and look your Exalts are just that no geas for us for running around the ground floor

It hadn't occurred to me that the Alchies could bypass the Geas for the MF. They are exalted, after all..

Bitchin. Midget, you're a genious.

We've got charms and protocols to take care of Yu-Shan in short order, don't worry about that! :D

As a member of the Yu-Shan Faction I must protest this farce.
As the only member of the Yu-Shan Faction I resist you mightily!

You shall never pass our gates, defeate our invincible Celestial Lions (three at each gate, with more at the top of the stairs), or pass our everlasting populace to take down the almighty Incarna ruling our blessed land from the Jade Pleasure Dome in the heart of Yu-Shan.

Yo, Samiel, show him the thread where you actually painted the picture of a Celestial Invasion.

We've got the charms. And we've got the guns.

theres something you think Moutain folk can learn Man Machine Protocols....

"Target sighted Fey Nobal ready aim fire ok get out the sculpting tools time to add to our numbers" random Moutian folk recruiter

Took me ages to find her, but this be the discussion. I've come to understand the Alchies more since then, and my confidence only increases. Strangely, the fact that gods can cast sorcery in 2e wholesale actually increases the Alchie odds of success, because the gods will rely on sorcery more as part of their defence. Sorcery against alchemicals = pain for you and free essence for them.

The mention of Heaven occurs at the end of that page, gets distracted, and then goes back on track.

Just reading the Alchemical book is an invitation to invade Heaven. In fact, they try to do so in the Locust crusade, and their half-assed little sally attack breaks through the guards at the door and causes a scene in the city, and they were just curious when they did so. Establishing a beachhead is trivial if they have the right weaving protocols.

Indeed they can. It's stated in the Protocols chapter that if the Mountain Folk managed to get to a vat complex, they could be fitted with Autocthonian Weaving charms and Weave to their heart's content. They can learn God-Machine as well; at least, it didn't make any distinction on the matter.

LOL well the fey nobals have trouble comming lets start recruiting

*drops the stealth on his celestial battle armour and swings hishammer mightily, knocking the Yu-shan partisan to the floor*

Mr Samiel, the way to Yu-Shan is open to you,now keep your end of the deal and have your god cure those fits of madness I suffer,, like you said you would.

Look's down at the fallen death god  as I charge  in " He will make some good Star Metal"

*vanishing from the ground and appearing behind Kremiln KOA*

*slicing my scythe across his back from shoulder to hip before vanishing to appear some yards away*

Stupid fool, trying to KILL DEATH.

I will allow you to live, for now.

And as for the little Mountain Folk, don't make me destroy you as well.

Perched on a nearby building, Jyfriss watches and takes notes for his next article, taking a few moments from time to time to pop another piece of popcorn chicken into his mouth from the tub beside him.

"Ahh, UCFC," he says to himself, "Why are your golden nuggets of flesh so addictive?"

being he chief oligarch of the mountain folk, i say: fuck the steam faction.

think of it like christianity.  all christians have the same essential core belief, jesus is the son of god and died for your sins.

well its the same, mountain folk and alchies believe that auto is the main man. but there beliefs are completely different. they see the other is a brother of the same faith, but being inherently wrong in his belief.

i refuse, as the voice for the Mountainfolk, to allow my people to side with the alchies, we strive for our own greatness, not the meager scraps from the table of an exalt. an exalt not protected by the geas i might add

so come bring your iron hides into our caverns and citidels if you dare, but be forwarned, from your bodies we will create even new wonders, to use against you and your ilk. to conquer all of creation, restore the greatness of Autocthonia and punish all those who restricted our genius... this is the will and mandate of the new:

Order of the Jadeborn. true heirs of creation, being the first sentinent beings created by the great Autocthonia! the original inheriters of Gaia!

Srew you I'm an Enlighted Warrior General  my army goes with or with out you and if we find a way to fix the Great Geas well you refused to help us, so I guess you get left out.

Oh well.

The Alchies can't do Sorcery, so the doors to heaven will never yield to them.  And the Jadeborn can't either.

They can do better than sorcery, to an extent. The Weaving Protocols allow them to directly manipulate the Loom of Fate.

Wait a minute. I realise I don't know anything about alchemicals, and that's why this is more a request for explanation than anything; why would they have the ability to manipulate the Loom of fate, regardless of whether Auto designed it, when they live (until now, obviously) in Autocthonia and the Loom is in Creation?

Let me rephrase: They could directly manipulate the Loom if they were in Creation.

Why would they have an ability that's useless in their normal habitat? I mean, sure, they could develop it once they're in Creation, but that would take time, no? And the sidereals would be sure to notice their experimentation.

Pattern Spiders and the Loom of Fate are creations of Autochthon.  Book says they can dink with the spideys.

I was bitten by a radioactive Pattern Spider.
