Versus 250,000 T-1000s and a circle of High Essence Solars?

I'm thinking the Alchies are gonna get a whuppin.

Especially since, by their nature, they can morphy together and take on the bigger Alchies and the Warstriders.

For those who can't remember aname with out a face. <like myself>

Y I

Odd that the Solar's troop numbers have changed...had to add 240,000 to ensure they win? Why? Changing the force compositions after the poll has started is rather unfair...

Look at the first post on page 1.

The numbers didn't change, you just must have read them wrong.

T-1000s are a sentient liquid metal robot.  They are made up of billions of nanos (microscopic robots) that are self-replicating and nearly immune to anything short of an area effect causing mass destruction or fire (cold based attacks just slow them down a bit).

It took knocking the T-1000 into a smelting pit to destroy it on Terminator 2.

Crossbows that won't do any good against even normal armor...much less Ashigaru or Gunzosha armor.
Normal Self Bow (Standard equipment): Spd 5, Acc 0, Dam 0, Rt 2

Standard Creation Crossbow: Spd 5, Acc 0, Dam 5, Rt 1

I'm gonna go with the extra-slaying crossbow, and assume furthermore that the Autocthonians make a better one. They get extra die on all craft rolls, you know.

Gyroscopic chakrams that do nearly no damage, and are frankly almost worse than the Infinite Chakram...which has

FAFL.

Essence 10 deathlord. Come on. High essence solars.. He's got ALL your charms! And more! And a perfect circle of Abysalls with him, too. And Bonestriders of grand excellency!

And also, I chose to ignore the Alchemicals, the Locust Crusade, the existance of an active autochton and EVERYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH THEM. .. *coughs* *goes into a spasmic fit*.. *recovers*

There.

At least I didn't vote DB's.

are you guys fuckin kidding me? the Mountainfolk with the geas removed would stop everyone! it would be an army of 4 million geniuses, an army that would grow larger because they would be able to unlock mountainfolk essence quicker then ever before!

they were so powerful back in the first age that the exalted of that time grew fearful and forced auto to put the geas on them!

they have the biggest cache of artifacts anywhere in creation, the largest army of supernatural beings  easily more powerful then my artisan from Cthulhus game this summer! not to mention they have many 1st age, and shogunate founderies to build more artifacts. They fight in tight formations and have full access to all the charms not shown in the MF section of FF fatsplat.

sorry but i have to say an army that is the best equipped and easily has many millenia of battle experience could  smack the shit of the rest of the world.

I think we had a discussion vis-a-vis FL vs. Silver Pact. The majority seemed to believe the Silver Pact would be victorious.

Dragonblooded and the Realm was what I voted for.

For the God-Empress of Mankind!

Egh...truncated quotes make things painful to look at in some styles, really. And I could have sworn that the original post said 10,000 T-1000s myself....and editing doesn't seem to be showing if you do it to a post most of the time, so it's kind of hard to prove anything.

Ah well...a few flared fire aspects could do a lot of damage to those 1000s if heat is what kills them, as the movie indicates... *shrugs* This isn't even counting if they activate Dragon Seared Battlefield and/or Dragon Vortex attack....with the latter, you'd probably only need five high essence DBs to take out the whole lot of T-1000s....and the lesser officers of the DB's army can protect their own troops from it, so... *shrugs*

I don't know. I think the reason the T-1000 in Terminator 2 was destroyed by molten metal. Which is a far cry from simple hot flame. I don't know that hot flame will do much to a T-1000. IIRC, it walked away from a truck crash with resulting explosion.....

*shrugs* Donno. Automatic levels of lethal equal to the DB's essence (+ one for every extra participant in the charm up to four) that's unblockable and undodgable to everything within the sum of all participating DB's essence x 100 yards every five ticks isn't very nice to anything. And if more than one group of five threw this up...that's a very unfriendly battlefield to be standing on. And Lookshy has a good 3,000 DBs. If even a tenth of them threw this baby up, that's probably a dead army.

So with all the shaping to the T1000, that would technically make it a product of the wyld.  Therefore, I'm going to argue that the Abyssal anti-wyld charms do Agg to it.

My points for the Alchies VS DBs, revisited. Now that I've the patience for a rewrite. Also, I just read the Alchie book again, and I remember why I put so much faith in their invasion of Creation (Invest Now!).

Alchies can quickly (2 actions) disable any artifact at all, no matter the rating, using their protocols. Goodbye, Skywolf.

Alchies can also not only counter enemy magics with their countermagic, theirs is cheaper because it absorbs the essence of the cancelled spell.

The DB war charms are nice, but ultimately they aren't the best evar, and no match for sorcerors and celestial exalts on a wartime scale. Certainly the Alchies book didn't do their war capacity justice because it was written for a system that didn't really have a mass combat mechanic. In second ed, I rate their odds of having superior war charms to the DBs pretty highly, and they work just as well together as DBs.

There are lots of Alchemical elders, and they can all arrive equipped as skyships/warstriders or what have you because adaptability is their thing. Air power mightn't occur to them at first, but the minute they see (and disable) a Realm/Lookshy skyship, they'll get the jist and own the skies for the rest of the war.

Vs T1000s I rate them pretty well also. They have charms and protocols designed to mess up automatons, of all the groups (if you don't count T1000s as wyld beings) they undoubtably have the best shot at killing/disabling the enemy fast.

Vs Mountain Folk, I'm not sure. I recently read up on the MF, and Lotus isn't really exaggerating. If the MF had the time to ready themselves and the curse was lifted (And they weren't dicked from all sides by darkbrood), the MF would be a very, very powerful force to compete against. There are millions of them, after all.

The Siddies are in trouble against Alchies or DLs because a lot of their charms won't work, and none of their Fate alterations. They're fragile, they can't see the Alchies coming, and fate is against them for the first time since the First Age (Protocols being Fate alterations and all).

Who else was there?

Oh yea, Lunars. First Ed or Second Ed? I'm afraid I'm putting my stock in the Alchies again. Their men are better trained than the Barbarians and equipped excellently, and the Alchemicals are like the Lunars in that they favour attributes, but their charms are not only done better but they're the cheapest charms in the game. The Lunars lose in theme, as far as I'm concerned, but if you go by the books the Lunars are bollocked.

Can I join the steam faction I not really an exalt as you can see I am moutain folk the fire is from an artifact that fakes an anima I can bring the rest of my people to you
