I believe that those are counted as non-Charm bonuses, so you can still raise up your dice pool by using your Excellencies.

Don't forget that the Sidereal martial art styles are inherently oogy, and you will be able to do some truly nasty effects with them.

I know! The style I got I can strike and strike from reflections. Make enemies hit others. Shoot out glass shards. Mind control. And even choose which path of fate i go down. Also the pattern spiders are nervous around me.

Was looking for styles that could play on each other. Celestial Dragon and Obsidian shard, hence Glass Dragon. So not only can I turn into a dragon as I fight, but do some cosmic shit while doing so. All I need now are some scales and sharp teeth to fit the asthetic.

Also, the mote discount of the Perfected Kata Bracers only work on the MA Charms of the style that you activate the Form Charm for, so you don't get any discount for mixing techniques out of the particular style you have active.

I remember. But I still should be able to mix Techniques as need be. The discount helps for whichever style I want to focus on at the time. And even still, the celestial dragon style is pretty potent as it is but in the expensive side to get it rolling. I think I can use them both together for fun affect.

Which is why I didnt get Psychie form hearthstone. It locks the charms one can use to the style of MA.

True, the hearthstone I have does lock me into one style, but the additional mote discount is very nice, adding to my PKB to drop the cost of my Charms by 4m once I activate a Form Charm. If I use my CMA, it makes most of the Charms there just a mote or two.

You can rapid fire all the charms without fear of running out. I was very tempted to follow suit, but I needed the versatility for max effect.

It especially helps with the Charms of my SMA, where they average 15m per Charm. They are nasty, but very expensive.

Oof thats expensive. Makes me feel better about my costs. Though I need a lot of willpower to use them a lot. Was wanting to get essence 6, but maxing out my willpower may be more useful.

Yeah, I wanted Essence 6, too, but I needed to boost my Willpower and get some additional Colleges and Backgrounds, and that ate up my Bonus Points. I'll just have to save up for that, assuming we are allowed to boost our Permanent Essence by our Illustrious Storyteller.

And it is 45 points to get from E5 to E6, with a cost of Current Rating x 9.
