A mysterious energy has unleashed the undead.

Search for the Lady of Mystical Power...

Before the Evil Ones break the Seal of Terror!

For those who may not know, Evil Night (known as "Hell Night" in Japan) was a FPS game for 1-3 players with quite a few similarities to House of the Dead, but with a supernatural horror plot.

The central plot of the game focuses on three friends (the players) fighting their way through an undead-infested mansion to rescue their kidnapped friend Liv from a mysterious cult. Meanwhile, Liv is implied to be a reincarnated sorceress whose power the cult wants for their own ends.

I'm looking for an RP with a similar raw concept, but more character-driven and with more emphasis on supernatural horror. And since the game itself is very bare-bones in terms of world building and character development, I gladly welcome any original ideas you all may have!

Certainly! What/Who do you have in mind?
Probably should save that for ooc, but I did vote

kinda of curious what this means? what if I don't choose an actor?
Also, we have magical abilities I assume? Are there any limitations? Is controlling...uh, gravity of the sorts or maybe mind manipulation off the charts?

The Actor Claim was meant essentially as a face claim, but I had meant for that to be optional, so no worries if you’d rather not choose.

As for each character’s magical abilities, it depends on:
  • The character’s species (human, vampire, werewolf, etc.), and
  • Any prior training and/or experience with magic, including in a past life
Humans who were magic-users in a past life may sometimes have some sort of gift connected to the kind of magic they used or specialized in during that past life. However, without any current-life training, these “carryover” gifts will start out relatively weak and may take years to even notice, requiring the gifted person to “re-train” themselves to be able to consistently use their powers again (like an athlete who hasn’t practiced or competed in ages).
