Herreran troops arrived shortly after the first succesful bombing runs to reinforce the already present coalition forces. Vietnamese troops have however put up quite a fight, resulting in a longer battle than expected.

The Red sea

Rumours have surfaced that a Submarine was spotted as it broached the surface for about fifteen minutes as two helicopters were circling or flying close to it.
Some of the nations bordering the Red sea have expressed their denounce towards foreign military vehicles in close proximity to their respective airspace and coast without prior warning.
The submarine was apparently unidentifiable but it's said the two helicopters were wearing a blue sea color of sorts, and a golden star.


Gulf of Aden

Parts of the Karaqi 3rd fleet have been present in the Gulf of Aden for several days now. There are reports of Karaqi once again violating territorial waters and airspace of the bordering nations as well as harassing any large ships in the area, bording, delaying and outright denying some ships to pass through. It's not a new phenomenom for Karaqi to behave like this, but experts speculate if they're perhaps playing the waiting game, as the TPNSS Mikhail Veselov just made it's way through the Suez canal and the Imperial Karaqi Navy and Karaq itself, might be playing a power game against Tcvhonia.




Iraq

The Imperial Karaqi Army has cleaned up resistance pockets all the way up to Basra, securing anything south of if between the borders of Kuwait and Iran, leaving Karaq full control of the only port in Iraq. Basra is also under siege by the IKA. Airborne troops are already in the city, fighting street to street. The motorised marine divisions from the IKN are preparing to move into the city as well. It's estimated the FEK currently controls roughly 30% of the city.

With the Empire's invasion of Iraq and the continuation of it's naval power play. The people of Bandar Abbas fear that perhaps all the propaganda they are fed might not be true as the fear a power response in turn from Tchvonia or possibly Herrera, both powerfull countries with equally powerfull navies. Reports of pockets of rioteers forming to cause havoc have ushered the NKP (National Karaqi Police) to respond enmasse with both lethal and non-lethal tactics. For now the outbreak remains contained to small portions of the major city.

July 12th Vietnamese peoples republic was invaded by a Herreran lead coalition of Grand dutchy of Samogitia, Peoples Republic of Tchvonia, Free Hansa and Republic of Sumatra. immediately Vietnams governments announced and issued mobilisation order ordering all reserve personnel to report to the nearest military post. during the course of 1 month, much of the territory was lost, and the government was evacuated in the secret state bunkers. During the first few weeks, Vietnamese army prepared defences of its main cities and started issuing propaganda messages throughout Vietnamese media encouraging the civilian population to enlist and resist foreign invasion. Vietnamese guerilla groups were formed which started guerilla activities against coalition forces sabotaging infrastructure, organising ambushes and finally reporting Coalition movements to the Vietnamese military.

Vietnamese soldiers do not fight for its ideology, Vietnamese soldiers fight for the unity and solidarity of their country and to resist the foreign oppression. with these ideas, the vietnamese army has quite good morale and valiantly defend their country. during the battle of Nha Trang Vietnamese soldiers before wide-scale mobilisation, Vietnamese army command knew that they were quite outnumbered and employed guerilla like tactics luring the enemy into set up baits and ambushing them.

Samogitian Forces landed in Vietnam on July 13th and where ordered to take over Can Tho in South Vietnam, soldiers were ordered to take extreme measures against civilian population that are found suspicious of helping Vietnamese military effort, villages that shelter and act as informants for VPA are bombed, Vietnamese spotters are beaten up and arrested.

Samogitian and Sumatran Forces were tasked with taking South Vietnam in order to cover Herreram left flank, GDS forces took this task seriously and invaded Southern Vietnam rather aggressively giving little than nothing interest in gaining Vietnamese public support, on 30th of April battle of Can Tho As begun. GDS forces were greeted in well-entrenched and prepared Vietnamese garrison which was composed of reservist and volunteers. the battle is brutal and often hand to hand combat situations broke out in the Vietnamese trenches it is now known that the siege of the city will take time

Herrera's 1st Army Royal Shock Corps began it's combat operations in Vietnam by capturing the northern-most territories of Saigon to cut the city off from reinforcements and supplies.

With the Vung Tau harbor being secured and under lock down by New Hansa, Firebrand special forces and local allied militia fighters have begun moving into the city to secure it.. and with relative ease. Small pockets of resistance have been met but the majority of the Vietnamese military have pulled back and regrouped towards Ho Chi Minh City. It's expected that they will pull together a defensive strategy as losing Ho Chi Minh City would be a devastating moral blow to their government.

Firebrand special forces and local militia fighters eliminate a group of VPA defenders that were attempting to slow down the coalition advance.

Overview
Transylvania is a one-party, totalitarian dictatorship and has remained as such since its inception; and currently has a population of 6.789 million. In this time, it has not so easily fallen to corruption as their Romanian neighbors, going as far as making corruption a capital offense that can result in capital punishment. The capital building, the Casa autorității (House of Authority) is located in the very center of the capitol, Bulgorda'lest, the largest city in Transylvania. The Transylvanian Leu (TON) is nearly identical to the Romanian Leu (RON), save for some national differences.

The armed forces of Transylvania is collectively known as the Transylvanian Armed Forces with two main armed forces branches, both with their own sub branches: the Transylvanian Land Forces and the Transylvanian Air Force. The military, in total, has around 45,266 in active duty military strength with 90,534 serving in the military's reserves. The armed forces pride themselves on quality over quantity, preferring to have the best soldiers, the best rifles, the best tanks, and the best planes around. As such, their military is quite small compared to some nations with millions of citizens. The sad truth though is that they mostly rely on Soviet-era vehicles and aircraft in order to save on spending so more is available for promising R&D and or purchases of export versions of more advanced military hardware.

The average citizen is, daily, bombarded with propaganda at the waking hours, lunch break in the work environment in the civilian world, and during dinner time to encourage Patriotism, and Nationalism to an extent. As such, most citizens are model and hard-working contributors to Transylvanian society. After the Cold War and breaking away from Romania, Transylvanians hold a deep-seated grudge against Romania...which is slowly becoming open hatred through the daily bombardment of propaganda. As well as propaganda in school towards the easily-influenced young minds of each new generation of Transylvanians.

July 16, Coalition Controlled Vung Tau

New Hansan Lieutenant General Leonard Coetzee has met with Herreran General Theodore H. Benoit and Brigadier General Elizabeth Aldaine to discuss the war effort, current progress and the projected success of the further invasion plans. Both sides felt that the invasion thus far occured smoothly, but both parties also expected the Vietnamese government to ramp up their conscription ahead of the major battles of Hanoi and Saigon.

The Herreran Department of Defence has begun deploying the newly developed ILMVGPK gunner system, a protective turret armor. It was developed prior to the invasion to counter possible Vietnamese guerilla tactics , and to defend against enemy sniper nests and ambushes in the jungle. Tchvonia and New Hansa, both impressed by it's effectiveness in the field so far, have both bought 1,500 ILMVGPK kits for their fleets of Iveco LMVs.

The 1st Army Royal Shock Corps has begun it's push into the territories to the north of Saigon. Herreran troops encountered little resistance until they reached the outskirts of Tay Ninh. VPA defenders had set up ambushes and defences in the jungle surrounding the city. Although not expected to last long, the fighting will surely still drag on for some days.

July 16, 2019 - Near the Transylvania-Romania Border

Transylvania, for the most part of the Global Espionage Wars, has remained mostly silent...save for its growing hatred of its neighboring nation of Romania. Typically, everyday life has gone about as usual, save for the increase in Transylvanian military activity. Especially near the border. Civilians don't know why and the national news has brushed it off as an "alertness and readiness exercise." However, actions speak louder than words. And Transylvania's actions are certainly speaking loudly about their possible intentions. In addition to the units of the Grenztruppen at the border, more heavily armed professional military units have been seen setting up along the border of Romania, an increase in Transylvanian Air Force activity near the border in addition. Conscription rates have also increased, along with more conscripts that're a part of the Forțele de rezervă, are also pulled to active service and sent to the border to slowly bolster numbers. In secret, the president of Transylvania and the military higher ups are quietly biding their time with the tinderbox that is the border, awaiting the perfect spark to start their own fire.

Kirkuk, Iraq
July 18, 2019...

Several months into the Siege on Kirkuk, the Islamic Caliphate army has managed to garner a foothold on the city. With only a quarter of the city's control falling into ICS hands, hundreds of Kurdish and Islamic forces continue to die in the raging Conquest for Kirkuk. But despite this, the KNF defenders have proven to be a thorn for the ICS, and their subsequent plans of invading Iraq.

Highly notorious ICS sniper 'al-Raqib' has been tasked with counter-sniping KNF sharpshooters in the surrounding ICS controlled territory. Al-Raqib has remained in Kirkuk since the beginning of the invasion, and is believed to have claimed the lives of at least 54 Kurdish rebels alone.

Eastern Roman Republic


Nova Constantinople after a year of undergoing reconstruction.

It has been a long year of reconstruction for the Eastern Roman Republic, news from the regime stopped shortly after their modernization and coup that happened in late 2017, and early 2018. Since the regime has quickly kept to itself and to the ATO. After nearly three years of bloody fighting in Turkey and numerous government instabilities and coups, the government managed to solidify it's power and managed to improve life for ordinary citizenry for the Republic.


The Frumentarii State Security had to thoroughly eliminate, both corrupt and opposition forces to properly secure and stabilize the government during their long silence.

The Order also began to fully emerge itself as religious force, taking over the religious landscape, and influencing the political leadership - with their own state formed from land given to them by the ERR in southern Anatolia. Both have began a rigorous anti-insurgent campaign, to crush Turkish insurgents that spawned after the war's end. Groups from the former Turkish army, and other resistance forces operate in three separate zones in Anatolia.


Religious extremists fighting for Turkey never left Anatolia once the war ended, and continue a low-medium scale insurgency.

Northern-Sector: In northern Anatolia, ERR forces along with some ATO support is still dealing with heavy insurgent activity and is the seen of ex-Turkish military forces still launching guerrilla attacks on ERR positions.

Central Frontier: Central Anatolia, governed by both Order and ERR, this zone is still mainly uninhabited due to fierce ethnic cleansing, which the FC was responsible. But the region is home to common banditry. A small annoyance to the regime.

Southern-Sector: A dangerous area, Order forces with aid from the ERR and ATO still uncover cells of Jihadi's that came in during the last year of the war, religious forces from Afghanistan and Iraq - but also some more fringe ex-Turkish military forces still operate in this area.

In Northern-Sector, ATO forces still launch annual military operations against insurgents, heavy artillery is used to completely paralyze their tunnel networks, but never completely destroy them.

A year ago, the Kurdistani National Front launched a military attack throughout several regions on northern Iraq, led by Kurdish leader only known as 'Saladin', some weeks later, the Kurdish leader was shot by a sniper of the Islamic Caliphate of Syria during a public speech he was giving to his fellow Kurds in the contested city of Kirkuk, and was thought to be killed. Said sniper was later found by Kurdish rebels and was executed. During that time, the Kurdish resistance continued to fight both the Iraqi and Syrian army, managing to capture the smaller towns of Tikrit and Samarra. Their next objective being the capital of Iraq, Baghdad.



In the meantime, the Kurds in Kirkuk have been doing small hits to the Syrian army. Mainly crippling their attempts to move deeper through Kirkuk. The Women's Protection Unit and other Kurdish snipers have been doing an excellent job dealing with the Syrian infantry, but sadly, the Syrian soldiers have managed to station their own snipers throughout the contested area, whose skills are superior when compared to the Kurdish snipers.



Among the Kurdish snipers, there's a young woman simply known as 'Fatimah', whose been able to use her speed to move through behind enemy lines and use hit and run tactics, it is estimated that she's responsible for 14 Iraqi deaths and 12 Syrian deaths at this point, but she's been unable to stay in one location for long periods of time. As she is being hunted down by an unknown number of Syrian snipers.




The Kurds have mobilized more men and women towards the contested area alongside a small number of stolen M-84's, which were captured during the battle with the Iraqi troops. They'll try to form a strong defensive line to prevent the ICS from moving freely through Northern Iraq, which would be devastating to both Kurds and the Iraqi people.



In his hidden bunker deep in the Iraqi desert, 'Saladin', who survived the sniper attack, continues to command his men, trying to give inspirational speeches and keep his fellow Kurds morale up. "We must all remember we we started this rebellion, we are creating a future for future generations of Kurds. Free from the tyranny of Syrians, Iraqis and Turks! Free from foreign interventionists with double intentions! Free from the religious zealots that have condemned our people! We can't allow the Islamic Caliphate of Syria to move freely through Iraq, we must do everything in our power to stop them!"

It's been a year since the United Provinces of Argent has mysteriously collapsed. There are various theories as of why it happened, some say that the UPA was betrayed by various factions they were once allied with, others saying some unknown benefactor helped Argentina push a strong claim over the Provincial territory, whatever the reason, the United Provinces are no longer a thing. But despite the fact Argentina has annexed the provinces that were once part of the UPA, the Provincial identity continues to exist. In the Argentinian congress of Buenos Aires, various pro-Provincial independence senators and congressmen continue to cause problems to the Argentine government, and the talks of a coup at the hands of disgruntled Provincial generals have begun to appear in the media.

The remaining holdouts from the VPA have mostly surrendered and a sense of normalcy has appeared back in Vung Tau... well as normal as it can be with foreign military patrols walking through the local markets and streets. Vung Tau has been succesfully secured with minimal allied and civilian casualties, next move is to Ho Chi Minh City.

Kirkuk, Iraq...

The infamous Islamic sniper known as 'al-Raqib' continues to hunt down KNF marksmen across the City of Kirkuk. An unofficial Kurdish casualty report would suggest the loss of at least 9 KNF marksmen, in just the span of one month alone.



The Streets of Kirkuk...

Engagements between Islamic and Kurdish forces have spewed into the street centers of Kirkuk, as unrelenting firepower and aggression is utilized by the ICS attackers. The Islamic Army is proving to be a far more organized and calculating opponent, in contrast to the KNF defenders.




The Kurdish Crossfire...

The KNF insurgent forces are subjected to hit-and-run ICS Sniper fire, as the Islamic Army burrows further into the streets. With separate Sniper divisions focusing down on Kurdish marksmen, and infantry alike.



An Unrelenting Force...

As the firefight slowly crawls into the Mid-day, the thundering echoes of gun fire remain at an all-time high. With no signs of the ICS letting up, the Islamic Army has successfully captured a strong foothold. Combat has transitioned into a more Defensive fighting-style, as the ICS forces proceed to regroup in the surrounding area. Soldiers are ordered to provide suppressing fire against the Kurdish forces until they inevitably retreat, in order to recuperate.

A meeting is currently underway, between Caliph 'al-Hasib', and an unidentified person of interest. It is believed that the meeting will address the issues of an Islamic Reformation.

Kharkiv, Ukraine..

After a year and 11 months, the second war in Ukraine also called the "Ruthenian Conflict" has ended with ATO victory. The Ukrainian president Patro Porokenko surrendered under the Volhynian demands. which was
1. lay down all weapons - final ceasefire is announced. Allow humanitarian convoys to enter all troubled settlements - all Ukrainian land will be under Volhynian rule.
2. higher ups will be offered new government positions. Top of the previous ukrainian government shall be given nobility titles if they are willing to cooperate and become governors of the Tsardom. As such, all ukrainian provinces will have self governance as much as Tsar's law allows it.

Former president Patro Porokenko swore an oath to Volhynia and Tsar Vitaly Romanov. Porokenko was given the title of Boyar, other loyal political leaders was given minor titles. The Ukrainian military was disbanded and former personnel was offered positions in the Royal Volhynian Armed Forces.
Order and Volhynian humanitarian aid was moved into the areas where the fighting was hardest.



Patro Porokenko gave a speech to the press in the local government building in Kharkiv, as Kiev was heavily bombed and not safe for the Tsar.
"We fought with all of our strength and lost, I am proud of our soldiers for fighting their hardest, and I know Tsar Vitaly respects them for their effort, but now it is time to lay down our arms, Ukraine and it's people.. You, have lost too much, I do not wish to see more Ukrainian lives lost. I here, on the 22nd of July surrender all Ukrainian land, it's people and resources to the Tsardom of Volhynia, and I step down from being leader of this nation. God bless us all."

A small team of 10 Ukrainian nationalists found their way into the government building, unnoticed..



The nationalists started firing at V.S.S. agents and army soldiers stationed in the building. The terrorists was seeking the Tsar and Boyar Porokenko, but the Volhynian security was too strong, the Tsar and Porokenko was escorted safely out of the building and away from Kharkiv.



Five V.S.S. Agents was killed and two wounded. Three Volhynian soldiers was killed, all three veterans of the newly ended conflict. 9 terrorists was killed and one was wounded. The surviving terrorist was detained by the Volhynian authorties.

After mobilizing most of the men stationed in Kirkuk, the Kurdish militia expected the offensive from Islamic Caliphate Syria, but they did not expect such a bold initiative, with most Kurdish defenses being overrun by the ICS Infantry. Some of the defenses managed to hold the Syrian troops around the city downtown, but sadly, most fell to the strong Syrian army. 3 of the small tank division that was sent to the defensive line were either destroyed or captured, and losses are estimated around 112, with many missing.



Things died down by night. Many Kurds were scattered behind enemy lines. Most Kurdish snipers had been either killed, captured or escaped to the desert. Among those souls is the sniper 'Fatimah', who continues to strike ICS troops when they least expect it, using her speed to move from cover to cover and escape from those hunting her.



With most of the Kurdish rebels holding the downtown and slum areas of Kirkuk, 'Saladin' ordered his men to plant IED's under the various tunnels throughout the city right in the morning, when all ICS forces would be praying, the women, the christians, the atheists and the zoroastrians will scatter through the tunnels and plant charges through strategic location, some under gas pipe lines and most going right under the streets the ICS need to use to transport supplies through the town.

But as the situation of Kirkuk is starting to become dire, the morale of the Kurds in the city begins to deteriorate, Kurdish forces cannot hold the Islamic threat much longer, and most men and women are needed for the frontal assault on Baghdad and deal a heavy blow against the Iraqi government. But as they continue to move south, another enemy appears, the Free Empire of Karaq. The Kurds seem to be alone in their revolution, but according to some rumors in Saladin's bunker, the Kurdish leader received two interesting proposals from foreign powers, a letter from an old friend and the other from a surprising proposal of alliance from an unexpected nation.

Tay Ninh Jungle, July 17th

Fighting continues outside of Tay Ninh. Vietnamese troops have bravely held their ground, throwing back every Herreran attempt to break through their defensive line.

The 1st Royal Army Shock Corps has finally broken through the VPA defensive line in the jungle. Soldiers and armor have begun rolling into the city's outskirts, supported by the Royal Air Force.

Tay Ninh City, July 21st

The Herreran flag has today been raised over Tay Ninh City after a long drawn out battle between the Herreran Army and the Vietnamese People's Army. Small skirmishes still occur, but the majority of Tay Ninh has been succesfully occupied.

Camp Justice, Loc Ninh, July 22nd

A Herreran supply and troop convoy has today set course for Tay Ninh City to provide relief and supplies to the occupational troops. It is expected to arrive by the 24th.

Kharkiv, Volhynia..

The wounded terrorist from the 22nd July attack revealed the location of his comrades after a visit to the hospital and a little talk with the V.S.S. The barricaded hideout was in an abandoned part of Kharkiv evacuted in the war.
V.S.S. Unit Ilya was sent to the location, together with a detatchment of soldiers from the Royal Army. They encircled the building before beginning the raid.

Five Terrorists was killed and two detained by the V.S.S. Volhynians suffered no casualties. It was later revealed that the Ukrainians had been coorperating with the believed to be dead fascist anti-monarchist group known as the Eastern Legion. The director of the V.S.S. Roman Kryvenko told the press that the state security together with the military will do everything they can, to remove the revived paramilitary group.

Atyrau, Kergikstan

Years, after multiple wars in Ukraine and the pacification in turkey, the situation in the republic has started to get out dictatorship with Beibitzhan Alibekev stepping down from the position with elections following shortly after he's leaving from office the republic is finally democratic with the new president being elected, President Daniyal Zelensky recently has started to push for more funding to help improve the infrastructure in the more poorer areas of kergikstan where rampant crime and gang activity is starting to be more apparent, Along with that gave more funding to the atyrau police force which started to phase out older police car models and with new ones along with mandatory body cams due to recent rumors of atyrau police officers engaging in criminal activity. Other than that most of kergikstan is otherwise normal.

In Turkey most of the kergikstani peacekeepers and turkish S.E.B where mostly pulled back from the Central Frontier and from any other secured areas, to more dangerous areas, as the more safer zones and secured areas were mostly if not gone of insurgent activities while at the mean time in Northern-Sector Kergikstan 1st Signal Reconnaissance corp's sharpshooters where hard in work scouting the mostly abandon roads and buildings for insurgent activities and in most cases taking potshots at said insurgents and engaging in counter sniper operations to make it safe for ERR and ATO patrols to secure any areas.

In Ukraine Kergikstan soldiers stationed are ordered to checkpoint various areas in ukraine to help out Volhynian army troops and as response to the recent attacks in the former ukraine government building in Kharkiv, and there was now arguements between General Kassym-Jomart Dastanev and the commanding officer of all forces stationed in turkey to bring 1st recon to ukraine, this however is still a debate brewing till this day.

Since the first push from the VPA counter attack, Tchvonian Marines have been holding their own at the northern and north western sectors of their controlled ground, resorts and hotels turning into urban combat zones as the two sides continue fighting one another.

The 940th Vietnamese air force wing has been nearly destroyed by constant Tchvonian attack, hidden airfields in the jungle mercilessly hunted by TPAAF helicopters and silenced. VPA anti-air sites are also being picked off by a combined air-infantry force.

Cam Rahn city
The defense of the city is finally beginning to buckle as Tchvonian forces begin attacking from multiple fronts after seizing the harbor and important Cam Rahn International Airport, but the defenders still show fierce resistance towards any unit that manages to push forward.

With the capture of the international airport, logistics has finally started moving supplies to the frontline to keep a steady pace of support going as the fighting continues.

Another attack against a Karaqi nuclear scientist happened at a police checkpoint, while the guards present were killed during the scuffle the scientist managed to get away into an approaching sandstorm. The identity of the attackers remains unknown but the coordinated strike raises some suspicions on who might be overseeing them.
