Fantasy Escaping Hero HQ

He couldn't see the commotion inside as soon as that one particular henchman dropped their electric whip. He was very surprised when he saw a silhouette come by and open the door, to realize it was only Bob.

"Very well, let's go." Will said and entered the canteen once more. He glanced slightly at the silhouette on the ground in what he was sure to be the defeated henchman. He entered the kitchen to find the doll looking for some things.

The doll was a bit surprised upon seeing the large insect invade the kitchen. The doll identified this entity a hero for it doesn't seem to engage any threat after a few seconds of looking to it. The creature spoke and ordered them to wait. The doll obeyed and waited until the creature came back. The doll proceeded to it's main objective. The doll climbed through the kitchen's counters and took an empty soup pot resting on a cold stove. The doll separated the lid and the pot itself. The doll carried the lid like a shield and wore the pot over their wooden head. Sure it looked silly but there is no other way for them to carry it and the doll is plotting something. The doll went to the ladder and looked down.

"Okay Will and little one, lets get going." Bob morphed into his centipede form. "Come on little one hop on my back and hold on." He sniffs the entrance of the hole catching there scent. "Will we're going to be moving fast so try to keep up." He then shot down the hole and after the henchmen.

The group decided to pursue the two runaways, in fear they might alert the whole henchmen group that there were still a few stragglers in the bottom floors. Bob leaded the way with the HQ defense doll on top, whose speed their friend was barely let their utensils stay on their head. Will followed quietly and as fast as he can, so as not to lose sight of Bob.

On their way down, they can see that the room was lighted up. Before they headed down, they heard some noise. It sounded like fighting and... metal striking different metal.

If you proceed to go downwards and land on the room, you won't know the scene and can get a disadvantage if it really was a battle, the enemy having a split-second moment of going towards you.

You can stay and wait it out, but what of the two henchmen?

Wait a minute...

Will climbed down as soon as he can to catch up with his friends. It was difficult going downwards fast enough to catch up with the again-changed Bob. After a bit, he stopped. He heard some dramatic commotion down the ladder and wondered what was going on. Before he talked, he realized something.

"Maybe somebody are fighting the two henchman in our place! We have to get down there!" Will said, continuing downwards.

They all entered the room, seemingly fine. This time, no one was in sight. They realized they have reached a room that looked similar to one of the offices. But, that can't be right. The offices were all located at floors 10-15. Again, the room was dark, no light source open. You hit the switch, but it was still as quiet as earlier.

With almost no warning, some people were talking outside. One was a bright sounded, young female while the other belonged to a male, although the latter was ineligible to comprehend due to how quiet they were.

"We got them!-- Ow... wha--"

You heard the male murmur something.

"Oh, don't worry, we haven't heard anyone else as we arrived here in this room..."

What does the group do right now?

The first thing that this group noticed was the stunning beauty inside the room. The woman was surprised at their entering, as she easily expected the worst. Sighing in relief as she immediately realized they were definitely heroes also, she greeted the group as sweet as she could.

"My, look at you people! I hope you're all alright... erm, oh. Um, I'm just surprised that some heroes were able to come by unscathed liked us. I should probably introduce myself, shouldn't I? My name is Dana if you don't know. But, please, call me "Empress". No, the name doesn't mean that I feel better and higher than you all, but it's my hero nickname and I just like it--"

The woman was interrupted by her friend, who tapped her lightly in the shoulder. He murmured something to her.

"...yeah, I shouldn't probably take this too long... oh right! This man here is called General, another nickname I made up; for him!"

"Hellow miss I am Bob." Bob said into the ladies mind. "I would like to ask if you have seen two henchmen come through? We seemed to have lost the two we were chasing." He tried to sound nice as to not up set the lady with his form.

Whilst they talked to Empress, the small bird fellow beside simply stared at the group quietly. He was the one Empress simply addressed as General.

For some reason, he has huge amounts of bandages covering almost the entirety of his right leg, blood stains covering mostly the thighs and slightly everywhere else.

The doll stayed silent as they descended down to the ladder while riding on the hero's back. The doll dropped off as soon they can feel the floor. The doll looked up to the new individual before them. She doesn't look like a henchmen nor her companion. Both of them seems to be heroes. They didn't pull off a violent reaction nor threat. The doll didn't bother to talk. The doll looked up to the bird hero and noticed the injuries they have. Seems like the the bird guy does all the fighting. The kept a knife on their right hand holding the lid as a shield on their left. They seem to be safe for now but that doesn't mean they should put their guard down.

Empress was surprised to hear the insect named Bob speak, getting a little surprised because she was really only looking at Will because of his normalcy. Still, she tried to look her best.

"... oh them! We hid them under the table under there. Didn't see them at first, did'ya?" Empress said with confidence, pointing at a desk behind. There were carton boxes covering whatever everything under it but if one looked closely they can actually see a hand or two sticking out, if not immediately apparent.

"They've been doing a good sprint, but me and General happened to block them off. General did most of the work actually... hehe...."

fuil fuil

"Good." Bob relaxed a little but stayed on guard." Your friend looks hurt, anyone know first aid?" He looke around and asked his companions.

General believed he didn't need anything else aside from his bandages he already had on. He simply muttered something under his breath.

"I... don't need first aid... I'm fine." General said. Again, he looked around to see the HQ defense doll walking around with a pan and a lid. He always saw these little thing at work in the HQ, no matter what. He felt relieved that it was here to do its duty. Well, whatever the doll wanted to do with the kitchen utensils. General suddenly realized how ridiculous it kind of looked, and chuckled.

Will looked at the the two newcomers. He thought of something.

"You guys should come with us. Strength in numbers and all that. You know, where did you two hide? And do you know where we are?" he asked Empress. If they knew something, that would help.

General nodded at the idea. He decided to sit still if they were gonna stay here for a bit.

Location: "Definitely an office" - Will

The enlarged group stayed in the room they were in. The two newcomers easily fitted in with this group. Their chances of escaping are definitely increased.

Aside from this, there were really no other noises aside from their talking.

There are two routes now. Leave this room through the door or back up the ladder. You're not sure what floor this is, neither do the newcomers. You can leave and climb up the stairs if need be.

Or you can easily climb up back the ladder and back to the kitchen, thereafter back to the canteen, then leave through their big door. The choices are up to you. The places you'll be needing to go will still be rather dark though.

"Well, my hiding place was actually not far from here. I only decided to move about ten minutes ago. Then I saw General." Empress said, nodding towards the bird.

"He was badly hurt though. We talked a bit... and... oh, we thought of going upstairs. Then we heard two of those henchmen. You know the rest." Empress said.

"You know, we should probably keep moving. I saw ladders on the room behind you. Where do those lead?" Empress asked.

It was at that moment that Andy slid down the ladder. As soon as the doll had let go of her hand, she dashed down the hallway to take down any other intruders that could have heard the fight that had began within the canteen. Luckily for her, there was only one to tackle. Now, she looked to one of the newer companions and answered. "The kitchen. And from there, the canteen." It was all she heard from their conversation so she had no idea who the two new faces were. "Who are you two?" She looked at them and noticed the wound on the bird man's leg, and how the lady remained unscathed. Either she has the speed to avoid blows or has him do all the work. She can a real asset in our escape, or can possibly end up slowing us down. In order to show a her more friendly disposition, she smiled. "My name is Andrea, but you can call me Andy if you'd like."

Empress watched as another person showed up, who seemed to be with this group because of how easily she walks near them. At least she isn't the only one who was a girl here.

"Oh, well, I'm Dana-- you can call me by my name nickname Empress --and this here is General... wait... the canteen, you say?" she said, questioningly.

"Are you sure?" Empress asked to confirm.

Spice Spice

General heard another girl come in as he sat on the floor and listened in on the conversation. Upon the girl named Andy started telling where the ladders leaded to, he decided to explain a bit.

"...there's no canteen in F14... is there?"

Spice Spice (Hint: There is really only one canteen that you've been in, and you're pretty sure in your life in the HQ that said canteen is at F20.)

Andy nodded to confirm. "Yes, it surely was the canteen." She wondered why it was that she needed to repeat herself to Empress. Everyone should know that the canteen was on F20. It wasn't until General spoke that things began to get confusing. "There isn't a canteen on F14. Why would you need to ask that question?" She began contemplating what it was that was going on. Why is he questioning about F14 if we're on F20? Why did he believe that there was a canteen was on F14 in the first place? Unless... No, it couldn't be. Still, she looked around that room. It was definitely an office, which would not reach up as far as the canteen's floor. "I am certain it was the canteen of F20. What could possibly be going on here?"

"Oh, not far from here... and you saw General wounded already... I see..." Will said, as he listened in to her story, just as Andy came down the ladder. He simply listened to them, then saw their reactions upon hearing the ladders leaded to the kitchen. Will put one plus one together, according to what they said, and also to what Andy said.

"...are you saying we are currently in the 15th floor?" he said, supporting everyone's idea.

"It looks that way, but how did we get here?" Bob wondered as he looked around then back at the henchmen. "Will those suits are techy could you see if they have a clue as to whats going on." Bob curled up but keept his antenna smelling for henchmen nearby.

Location: 15th Floor, Office(?)
Status: Confused, but safe

All the time this small group had, but still no henchmen came. Either they thought that they are done searching for heroes in this area or soething else, they're not sure. Since you're in an office, definitely all of your offices are around here. You are all allowed to enter and take what you need in your respective offices, provided you don't go everywhere in a racket.

Will nodded at Bob, and headed for the two henchmen hidden by Empress and General. He shifted the boxes away a bit. He looked closely at the helmet, and tried to remove it by pulling it with both hands.

"Wow, you two sure got them beaten good..." Will said.

As tried as Will would try to peer through the helmet, he couldn't see a face or anything, despite looking like clear glass. Will then attempted to remove the helmet, but it leaded to no result. Nothing else in the henchman's personage seems to be usable.

Except for that small, blue screen in their left forearm. It looked crack, but it's touch screen seems to be usable, when you tried poking it. On the screen showed a map. Red lines and some symbols were shown on the screen, which Will could barely decipher. One thing was for sure though, seen in the bottom of the screen.

HEAD FOR BOTTOM FLOORS 20-30; MAJORITY OF HEROES ARE SPOTTED THERE.
