CS help - For Experiments, you can be a mix of any type of real animal, now there can be shapeshifters( able to change into any animal) but there will only be a couple allowed. Be sure to explain what your character is though and if the animals mixed to give you any certain power.

For Scientists, if you were wondering fully what Job Specialty meant then it means what you work with mainly. Are you a Tester, Maker, Observer, Medic? Testers are the one who put the experiments through physical and mental tests. Makers are the ones who create the experiments and run blood tests on them or try to experiment on ones that have already been labeled finished or failures. Observers watch over the experiments wherever they are keeping track of any sign that they might have changed or gained some sort of new ability. Medics don't really need to be explained, but they are pretty much the closest thing to sane people in the Lab. Making sure that the experiments are at least somewhat healthy and ready for whatever challenge they might face.

For Head Chasers, these are the leaders of sorts for the Chasers, they are not the normal feline canine mix however. They are usually several animals mixed together and very deadly. Which is partly why there are only 5 of them because they are much harder to control than normal Chasers.

For Chasers, these are experiments made for keeping the other experiments in check. They are usually made from wolf or large feline DNA. They can do a full shift of a partial shift, depending on what they feel like. But shifting either way does leave them in a bit of pain considering they are made to shift into a more lycanthrope form instead of a more natural animal form like other experiments.​

History: Serena, Lexi, and Brie are all test tube babies, their mother not wanting to deal with the problems of human birth. She grew up in the cages with a few other kids, one being her youngest sister. While their oldest sister seemed to get to run free following their mother like the dog she was. Yeah Serena didn't care for her big sister because the girl seemed just as crazy as their mother! Serena hated this place and couldn't understand how anyone could think to torment people so much. Ever since Serena found out that that there had been a group of kids similar to them that had escaped from a different facility she has been making plans to escape. Of course she had to talk her flock leader into agreeing to try it and it hadn't been a simple task. She knew that trying to escape could come with great risk but she figured getting out of that hell hole was well worth it.

But that jealousy subdued when she found out that they were going to be simple experiments. In Lexi's mind the Erasers were of a higher stature than the stupid experiments. Least to say she still isn't fond of her sisters, because their mother does pay attention to Brie and Serena at times more than Lexi.

Though the more blood he uses the more he has to eat. If he doesn't eat shortly after using his blood as a weapon he will be weak.

History: Derek was 7 when he was sold by his parents for the money that was offered to them. They were in a great need of money for his mother's medical bills so he never really blamed them. He had held hopes that his parents would come back for him once they had things settled. But after years he gave up on that hope after all they wouldn't recognize him now anyways. His hair went from black to blue and his eyes changed from blue to red due to what he had been injected with.

The reality of Juliette’s situation was far different than the stories she was fed as a child. Both of her parents had survived the crash. They were told that Juliette had perished in the crash, and her body was far too mangled. Her family grieved the loss of their first daughter. They had a ceremonial burial where they laid to rest the ashes of someone unknown.

Powers: by singing she can affect the emotions and conditions of others that hear her, though she is hesitant in using it since it doesn’t discriminate in who it affects, she also can’t speak, outside of certain circumstances including her singing, but she can replicate various sounds she’s heard to communicate instead though she prefers sign language instead due to it being easier to understand. She also has slight echolocation, but she doesn’t use it unless she can’t see.

Weight: 75lbs, reason: this is due to experiments and genetic warping that has made her bones hollow and lighter, much like a birds. This is as much of a detriment as it sounds.

Relatives: her now deceased parents, and her younger sister Iris, who is a failed experiment that was changed to be the songbird that follows Violet wherever she goes, though she hasn’t told her friends about this and they mostly believe that Iris is just a pet sparrow she named after her sister. She also has more than a few aunts and uncles.

History: Before she was admitted to the facility Violet was quite talkative and rambunctious, far from the current more reserved and calm persona she now bears. However nine years ago when her sister Iris was born she came down with an unknown disease that caused her vocal chords to swell uncomfortably, eventually the swelling became so bad that she was starting to suffocate and this caused her parents to become desperate to save her. After the untested treatment was successful in saving her and repairing, and even improved, her vocal chords she was required to stay in the facility to make sure the serum used had no adverse affects, at least that was the reason her and Iris were given after the scientist in charge of her operation murdered her parents. Five years of captivity later the scientist came and took Iris to have experiments done on her. Panicking Violet escaped her cage in an attempt to save her little sister from the older woman, but as ultimately unsuccessful in preventing the procedure that caused Iris to be permanently shifted into a small sparrow. After a small struggle in trying to keep the madwoman from disposing of the bird she was eventually allowed to keep Iris with her, but as punishment for her disobedience and gall she had the wings growing from her back forcibly, and painfully, ripped off. Afterwards she was approached by the middle child of the scientist and together the two vowed to escape to the outside world, and over the course of four years they added to their numbers biding their time until plans were complete.

One day His Father let Jorge go to work with him and see all the construction equipment. It was the most exhilarating experience and Jorge quickly become lost in it. However he became separated from his dad and all to literally lost, He must have taken a wrong turn somewhere cause the last thing he remembered was being knocked out from behind while trying to find his way back.

But Shiloh has never known what it's like to have a family, so she didn't really know what she's missing.

Before she was even born, Dr. Adler at the Lab were experimenting on her. He mutated her genome with that of a sea squirt, a marine invertebrate with the unique ability to form chimeras. Chimeras can be defined as multiple unique genomes housed in one physical body. With this in mind, the scientist began introducing more and more DNA of different species into the embryo's genetic code in hopes that one would implant itself there. His experiment, however, was far more successful than he could have ever dreamed. All of the genomes from different animals that they introduced into Shiloh's cells took root and became a part of her. Believing his research would win him a Nobel prize and make him a lot of money, Dr. Adler gave Shiloh his last name and branded her with an ID barcode tattoo on her upper arm.

As Shiloh grew older, she was put through rigorous tests to determine the outcome of the embryonic experimentation. At first, Dr. Adler couldn't really see a difference. But as his crew trained her in combat, put her in stressful situations, and tortured her, Shy's animal side began to reveal itself. Only as the growth of claws, sharp teeth, a few feathers, or gills initiated by stress or pain in the beginning, Shiloh eventually learned how to hone the shifts into controlled, full-bodied metamorphoses.

While Dr. Adler was ecstatic about this development, it didn't come without costs. Shifting took a physical toll on Shiloh's body. The breaking and reformation of her tissues over and over again was painful, and it took a lot of energy to revert back to her more complicated human form. In addition, because of the multitude of mutation her DNA incurred at an early age, it was very unstable. It was possible that a shift could kill her at any time. Shiloh wanted nothing more than to escape from Dr. Adler and the Lab, and would take down anyone who got in her way.

He started waking up to what was exactly going on with the lab around age 11 after listening to the stories of some of the new experiments.

Powers(Up to 2): Grows blades of bone on his arm from the wrist to the elbow. Also worth noting that when he shifts, his body becomes insect-like so his muscle fibers physically harden into a sort of exoskeleton and his skin peels off when he does this. It allows him to remain agile and lethal. Can also camouflage with his surroundings.

There aren't many good photos of human/mantis hybrids so instead I'll describe it as best as I can. His skin will peel off as if he was molting his skin or had severe sunburns all over his body. His muscles with turn a dark grey and harden into a sort of exoskeleton. The bones in his forearm will morph outward until he obtains jagged sharp blades on his arm. They are strong enough to scratch steel but not enough to cut right through it. Long story short, definitely sharp enough to make someone bleed. His chameleon qualities reflect invisibly, in the sense that you won't realize that's his second quality until he disappears, camouflaging with his surroundings. As bugs and chameleons do, they can scale walls and ceilings. His eyes will become colorful despite his rather colorless body, but won't swell out. It simply allows him to zero in on you and keep track of where you are, there's nothing especially different about them beyond their appearance.

History: Kane grew up as an experiment. He withstood the torment and excelled. He exceeded expectations and once he was old enough, he struck a deal with his captors, promising to act as a chaser in return for a better life. I won't say much about his personality here because it would reveal his hand and I wouldn't want the other experiments getting the heads up on him but I'll say this much. Type of Experiment(Explain what you are) : Golden Eagle, Sailfish, Bull Shark, Barn Owl

Powers(Up to three) : Enhanced eyesight thanks to the Golden eagle and Barn owl DNA, Poppy is able to see for up to two miles day and night. But it does require a lot of focus, and usually gives her a headache. Poppy is also a natural talent in the water, swimming as fast as 12 mph and being to turn on a dime almost. Also, even though it's not very impressive, she's able to grow her teeth back if she loses any.

Shifted Appearance: When she's in her shifted form Tempest looks as if she's a grizzly on two legs constantly. Her hands and feet replaced by massive paws with two inch claws on each digit that slice through skin like paper. Brown hair replaces every inch on skin while her mouth conforms into a muzzle, but there are some things that distinguish her from normal grizzlies. One example is that she has patches of fur that are golden with black stripes, her eyes are blood red and shaped like that of a serpent with grey scales under them, large forked tongue, and large fangs that inject her potent venom. In this form she tends to move around on all four rather than on two legs. It helps her be more agile.

History: Tempest is a test tube baby created for the sole purpose of being used to chase down the experiments that try to be run from the facility, and to make an example of the unruly ones. The animals they had chosen to use on her they found to be a wonderful combination, each one more aggressive than the other. A true monster of raw emotion and strength. But they had run into a problem shortly after Tempest became 5, she was not as ferocious as they had hoped for. Not yet at least. After trail and error they figured out that the girl and to be provoked in order to do what they were hoping for from the beginning, or at least tricked into it. When she turned 13 they decided it was time to test their creation out on the other subjects in the ring. The scientists grinned when they watched this specimen unless all her aggression onto the others; but they have to drag the girl away each time so that they didn't lose a subject. As she got older though, her aggression became more fear based around the scientists to the point they had to muzzle her so that she was unable to inject them with venom. The only time she is allowed to have it off is when she's eating, they need to create antivenom to heal the subjects she's fought, and to chase down anyone who has escaped. If she's around anyone else she acts shy and normally wants to be left alone because she is ashamed of the monster she is. But if she's provoked, run.

Name: his real name is unknown, however most of the experiments refer to him as Vermilion due to the color he always wears.

Type: All the experiments who haven’t faced him know is that he is infused the the dna of animals far more ancient than what is normally used, aside from that it is publicly stated that he uses bombardier beetle and hawk dna.

Powers: Flame Cannon: this means he can conjure a huge jet of fire to scorch enemies, however it can strangely bypass resistances to fire and cannot be manipulated by pyrokinetic abilities. There is an odd weakness to this ability though, he cannot produce more than a certain amount of flames in a month or he risks being unable to summon any for the rest of that month.
Extreme Endurance: self explanatory, he can survive and recover from wounds that most would find grievous or fatal, however while he heals from normally fatal wounds quickly, less serious injuries take longer to heal than normal, making the drawback of his primary weapon all the more of an Achilles Heel.
He also has enhanced eyesight and hearing, at the cost of his sense of smell being all but nonexistent.

Appearance: an enigma shrouded in a vermilion coat, combat boots, and light medieval esque armor, he also hides his face with a knight’s helmet shaped like the head of a bird.

Shifted appearance: he doesn’t transform in the arenas so no one outside of his hunts know what it looks like, and all of them are either dead or are too afraid to speak about it, it’s apparently monstrous.

Shifted height: the one experiment who is willing to divulge information described it as being no more than 20 ft long, however this is likely an exaggeration produced by fear and is likely no more than half the length described.

History: this enigma of a man showed up not long after the last escape, and quickly became an one of the most efficient and deadly chasers in the facility, easily earning his role as a head chaser. While much of his past is unknown, that is not to say his actions in the facility do not speak about the person he is, as if he is pitted against some poor soul in the area he will offer them a weapon so that they may fight him on even ground, not that it ultimately makes a difference in the end, and if the put up a good enough fight he will spare them unless ordered otherwise. He also will not allow any other chasers to accompany him on his hunts as he claims that they will interfere more often than help. As for the preferred tools that he hunts with he is never seen without his kodachi, named Empath Fange, which was forged from a fang of a previous experiment in the lab which has empathic properties, namely it’s odd property that causes him to receive every nonfatal (note: this in reference to his target not him, he can die from the wounds receives from his weapon) wound he inflicts on someone in exchange for growing stronger, however these wounds take far longer to heal and are strangely more painful than they normally would be. His only other duty at the facility seems to be guarding its southern gate on occasion, which he does so singlehandedly. However behind the mask he appears to genuinely care about the survivability of the experiments, even those who escape, although he prefers to test them to see if they have the right and will to do so.

Komodo Dragons are known to having extremely venomous salvia that contributes to their deadly bite, often contributing to the blood poisoning that happens when bitten. Being bit by a dragon often leads to a slow and painful death as the skin affected begins to rot and infection spreads rapidly. Komodo dragons are immune to their own venom and have a tougher time being affected by other forms of poisoning or tranquilization. Q's razor teeth allow for breaking skin to be as easy as a blade's, his teeth becoming jagged and dagger-like when he uses this ability.

Siberian Tigers are the largest known subspecies of tigers and the largest cat species in the world, known for their fearsome strength and power. Making forest-like areas their domain, their agility allows them to catch prey off guard and attack at the correct time.

Reactive Adaptation, the ability to develop adaptations, powers, or skills in response to immediate threats. In Q's case, he is able to turn his skin into whatever material in order to combat an attack or effectively harm his opponent. For example, in an event that he were about to be bitten with venom, his skin would turn into metal in order to prevent the attack. He could grow gills in order to breath underwater, or turn into complete steel in order to combat fire. Iron hands for punching.

Both of these animals have thick skin, whether it be a thick coat of fur for the winter or hard reptilian scales. Although it is not one of his noticeable abilities, Q's tolerance for skin deep wounds is quite high, perhaps from his experimental species within him.

Kodiak bears, although not the largest species of bear, are the most aggressive bear subspecies and is recognized as the largest brown bear subspecies. These species of bears are fiercely strong with grotesquely large claws that help them catch their next meal. Due to these characteristics, Viv too is unnaturally and effortlessly strong. With nails that usually look normal, she has black retractable nails that can become as long as 6 inches in length which are sharpened at the ends and are tough as steel.

Eastern American Moles are creatures that cannot rely on their eyes to see, therefore required to use their other senses to find their way around. Vivian has gained another sense of sight in the form of scents and vibrations which allows her to sense people and things much faster than sight does. Due to these other senses being heightened, her vision deteriorated and only left her being able to see in blurry black and white.

Spoiler: History

This unusual set of twins were never meant to live a normal life. Placed into foster care during infancy, the caretakers were always aware of the twin's need for each other and would never be able to keep them apart for very long. If one of the twins were adopted and the other was left behind, both infants would cry constantly. This would often lead to both of them being returned back to the adoption agency due to "incompatibility" of the parents and the baby. Although they were not in the foster care system for very long, only being in the system for the first 9 months of their lives, perhaps staying would've been a better fate for the two than being adopted the last time round.

Once they were adopted by a loving couple, this couple soon turned out to be anything but loving or even a couple for the matter.

Having grown up floating in separate tanks that were placed directly in front of each other, the twins could do nothing for the first half of their lives but to float and stare at each other with no words to be exchanged. However, the comfort of still seeing one other kept the torture and experiments bearable. Since birth, they were all each other knew.

At the age of 8, Vivian lost most of her eyesight due to the new injection of the Eastern American Mole DNA which also cut off her connection from her brother. Floating in a tank did not allow her to smell nor be able to feel the vibrations, it was almost like floating in an unknown abyss. Her fear of water would continue to grow from there. Quincy could only watch as his dear sister lost the spark in her eyes as most of her sight left and her hope as well. He too lost faith for a long period of time.

At the age of 13, the twins decided that they needed to leave, that they needed to escape. Although they had gotten impressively far, it wasn't far enough. As punishment, they were forced to fight one another. While it hadn't been their first time fighting, it was their first time having to go against each other. Vivian lost. Vivian was critically injured. Quincy had no injuries. Quincy won.

Vivian understood what had to happen for them to return to their quarters, to be safe again. It was their first time "meeting" technically but she was ok to go down as long as her brother remained safe. The guilt that Q dealt with ate him up inside, especially having to face Viv in her tank with the injuries that he had given her. By the age of 15, they were both scared and filled with hatred in their own ways. Viv resented the tank and water that she was constantly floating in and Q resented seeing his sister to only see her injuries from year past.

Broken and mangled, beaten and manhandled. He tried to speak up, protest against the injustice, but the organization threatened what he held most dear, his family. Vadim was a witness and so appraised in his field that he was too useful to let go. After being, in a way, obedient to the organization, he was given freedom to perform minor surgery and address wounds on his own. And in that time of little surveillance, he tried to do more than dress what he came for and tried to help in what little way he could. Even if he couldn't say anything, he hopes his actions speak louder.

Toshi when he was younger used to be a gentle soul until he was forced to do an experiment where he was forced into a state of blind rage. In the end he was pitted against his own wife and child, tearing the two apart, literally. After he had regained his mind Toshiro was horrified at what he had done had shut himself off emotionally and grew cold. Forced to fight and kill or be set loose like some hunting dog he did start to feel something again, but it was sadness or anger, it was blood lust. As such he is also forced to wear a shock collar, the only thing keeping him from killing any scientists or other personnel is that collar. Toshi has to obey all orders given to him, regardless of how cruel or demeaning they may be.

If turned off the counter resets as well as the buffs. (So he can’t stack)

Her father used to tell her that they built 'character'. One day they were hunting and came across a doe and her fawn. Isla's father shot the doe quickly and without hesitation he aimed for the fawn. Isla would not have it, and she scooped up the fawn, refusing to have it shot, much to her father's disapproval. She brought it home and raised it by bottle caring for it for a few months before her father grew sick of her defiance. A private research team, which had taken notice of the girl’s defiance towards her father offered a program that would take her away. Her father agreed willingly. The research team's only request, was that the fawn be sent with her. Her father's only request, that she never be heard from again. So she was taken from her abode and sent across the seas to a secret facility where they spliced her and her fawns DNA together in an attempt to create a superhuman that would help protect their research.
