Ash quietly took it, lapping quietly at the water, humming softly as the cool liquid went down her throat

He smiled to her and he asked, "what's your last name, Ash?" He gently pet her ears.

Ash paused, "S-Storm.....I....I think" She mumbled, nuzzling against his hand as he rubbed her ears

He smiled, "Ash Storm, it's a cool name." He say by her and he asked, "where'd the scars come from?"

Ash gulped and looked at him, "T-The m-men" She mumbled, watching him carefully, as if waiting for him to get mad at her

"T-The b-bad men....i-in white coats..." Ash mumbled, whimpering softly, "H-Hurt me.... A-Asked me questions....." She curled into a ball, "H-Hurt me c-cuz I didn't know t-the answers!"

He started to pet her ears and he whispered, "Shhh...it's okay. I'm here. I'm here, alright?" He laid down beside her and rubbed her arms, "There there...I'm here, okay?"

Ash curled up to him, tears dripping down her face. She shook, ears flattening against her head

He wrapped his arms over her and held her scantly clad body to his warmer one. He whispered, "I'm here."

Ash's eyes closed as she slowly calmed down, and she eventually relaxed in his hold

He smiled and he whispered, "You're a really sweet girl." He was trying to compliment her and try to get her to smile. At least if she was smling she'd be easier to relax.

Ash blinked up at him and gave a shy smile, nuzzling her head against his neck

He blushed and he wrapped his legs around her, "Hungry?"

Ash shook her head, her unnaturally thin body pressing against his for warmth

He whispered, "We're going to fatten yo uup a little bit. hopefully we can get you better."

Ash looked up at him, her eyes wide, "Y-You'd do t-that? F-For me?"

"Of course. Do you need food?" He asked, nervous.

Ash shook her head and curled closer to him, making a happy noise

He looked down at her and he smiled, "do you want some new clothes? My sister left for college last month, I have some th in bag that'll fit you."

Ash looked down at her own clothes, which were tight and torn and filthy, and quietly nodded, "P-Please?"

He gently lifted her up and carried her to the former room of his sister. He sat her down in the chair and he he pulled out some bras, underwear, a blouse, then a new pair of jeans for her.

Ash let him carry her, then watched as he brought out clothes. She stuttered her thanks and limped into a nearby bathroom to change, limping back out when she was done
