Escaped Love

Keiran pulled her up against his body agin and he kept petting her hair, as he figured that calmed her down, "Shh...I'm here, it's okay."

Ash seemed to calm, though her eyes didn't leave the tent entrance

"Here," He handed her a bag of trail mix, "you can eat that. I'll make some meat later..." Why was he even being so calm around a half wolf girl? He continued to ask himself that he more time he was spending with her curled up in his arms.

Ash shakily took it, gazing up at him curiously. She didn't eat it, deciding instead to close her eyes and make a happy noise in his arms

He looked down at her and he felt a little sorry for the wolf girl. He rubbed her arms and then laid her head on a camping pillow, drapped a blanket around her, and he whispered, "I'm gonna go make some meat, okay?"

Ash curled where she was placed, but as soon as he moved to go outside, she was moving after him on her hands and feet again. She clearly didn't want to be alone, and whined softly, before scurrying outside ahead of him

He blinked, "Are you able to stand up?" He asked, getting a little nervous. He gulped and he started to start up another fire, "Are you alright?"

Ash nodded, and walked as she usually did, like a wolf on her hands and feet. She padded around the camp, as if making sure nothing was hiding in the bushes

He sat down and started to slowly cook the meat, making sure it wasn't going to be contaminated. He yawned and finally looked down, "Are you okay?"

Ash looked up at him from checking the bushes and nodded to him, tail dragging along the floor. IN the morning light, she looked ill, her skin pale and her eyes dull.

He looked down and he quickly texted his parents that he was coming home early. Then he got a text that he was actually was going to be alone for a few weeks. He sighed, "Do you want to come home with me?"

Ash looked up at him again, then sat on the floor, tilting her head. THe injured and ill looking creature looked confused, but nodded, not wanting to offend him by declining whatever it was he was offering

He slowly packed everything up, then he opened the door to his car, "Come on, let's get going."

Ash followed him on her hands and feet again, tilting her head. She wondered what the thing with wheels was, and looked at him in confusion

He patted the passanger seat and he asked, "Could you sit here please?" He gulped, getting nervous as she was staring to paw at the car.

Ash nodded and obediently moved to sit in the car, pulling her knees to her chest, and looking at her feet, which were wrapped in bandages

He put the seatbelt on her and started the car, easing it into gear as he began to drive them home.

Ash blinked at the seatbelt, but instead turned her head to watch the passing scenery curiously

He smiled and they hit the highway, and he graduually tried ot make his way home. After a few detours, he managed to get to his exit.

Ash kept her ears flat to her head so they couldn't be easily seen, noting how many humans were around them. A few seemed to notice her curious gaze, and one ir two seemed to notice her ill look

After he managed to get the home, he took her inside the two sotry house and laid her down on the couch, running off to the bathroom and getting a full first aide kit.

Ash let him lead her, acting like a obedient dog. In the past, if she didn't do what the humans wanted, they would hurt her, so she had learned to do as she was told, and curled up on the couch

He gently began to remove her tattered shirt, pants, and her shoes. Leaving her in her underwear, he instantly went to work with bandages, ointment, rubbing alcohol, and a mirard of other things.

Ash sat still as he did so, looking at him. Scars covered her body badly, with one that seemed to stand out over her chest. It seemed to be from a vivisection, and went down her chest

He gently tried to dab her scars, getting rid of those he could. He then looked at her and he whispered, "are you alright now?" He asked, getting nervous
