Borbett sat behind the desk and crossed his arms on his chest. "But you're not on your own. You're leeching our funds and information while giving nothing in return. You became spoilt. You'll see what it's like to be out in the cold, though. I'll have a word with One and make sure you get your own funding and leave ours alone." Borbett said, frowning the entire time.

"By resources I didn't mean your funds." said James looking at Borbett "Only the intelligence your agents recover from operations. The Government will be the one funding my organisation."

"And I'll make sure you get your own." Borbett calmly replied with resentment seeping from his voice. "I'll be sure to make this life you choose difficult."

"Let's see who's faster on the draw." James said , with blank look "You better be careful with what you've chosen to do."

Tyler dropped to a sit, and just laid back onto the wall, PTSD was starting to kick in, flashes of burnt corpses and things alike popping in and out of view. 'Did we do the right thing-Got what the deserved-What about the children-Dead dead everything dead', words from his last squads popping into hearing and making him look emotionless, though nobody could see, he looked dead really, just sitting up against the wall and looking forward. The one memory, the one thing that broke him, was a school, destroyed, and bodies scattered across the front yard, small skeleton frames of what used to be kids, strewn about the yard.
(Too much?)

"Ma'am, Borbett ordered us to disarm them. If we can't, then we're to call in th' MP for assistance."
Silith nodded and looked to Ronda. "Get the rookie on his feet we have work to do." Silith said to them as the agents started to secure the room

"Don't worry, James." Borbett smirked. "I have far more experience than you." He said as he leaned back in his black padded chair.

"And I know way more about you and the EICA than you know about me and my organisation." said James "After all, do you really think I didn't conceal things from you? I knew it would come to this. So , like I said, let's see who's faster on the draw."

"Just remember." Borbett pointed. "We're keeping One out of this. You say anything we did, we'll say the things you did." He threatened but was pleased with this game building up.

"I'd win that fight." said James, smiling at Borbett's comment "I happen to know a lot more questionable things about you. But of course, I am not taking both of us down. Gentlemen's agreement."

"No bother. You would be far more... Bothersome to me on the streets." She carried him to the door. "Life really shat on you, huh?" She pushed the door open and continued down the hall. "You shouldn't blame One for that, you know? I don't." She looked around. "One just gives general goals. Everyone else makes sure they're achieved." She looked at Tim. "I'm one of those people. It's just that I add a touch of decency to it." With a chuckle, she added. "Just a touch. Not exactly a saint myself. Definitely not like Thorn."

"Well, if you say what you know I'll get two bullets through my head while you'll only get one. You will be a clear winner there." Borbett said sarcastically. "You're not an idiot. I know you'll keep quiet." He nodded.

"Exactly, I am not reckless... not anymore at least." James said "We will talk to you later , I have some business to attend to, if you'll excuse me."

Borbett wordlessly raised a hand at the door, giving James a short nod. Borbett had plans to arrange and plenty of calls to make. It was time to start that game of chess.

"I'm bored..." Violet sighed, lowering her cup of tea as she was sitting on a comfortable sofa in her mansion. The massive estate near New Mobville held a large forest and meadow. Being off limits to civilians, few knew of the luxury it held.

"Mistress." A butler said. He was standing by her with a blissful smile on his face. "You have a lot of things on your mind. How can you be bored?"

Violet looked at the empty seat opposite to her. "I could use interesting company. My mind is not busy enough."

"I can call over some staff members. They would love just being near you." The butler flattered her.

"Thank you, dear." Violet gently touched his hand. "But you are always there for me. I'm afraid I have nothing more to learn about you." She smirked. "Maybe a new staff member." She looked at the butler. "Call my kitty. Tell her there is a tiny job I have for her."

''Streets are my home, well atleast since Thorn's thugs crippled Poor old Francis, getting tortured for accepting a role that mocked the goverment in the local theatre.I'll have to return there eventually.and yeah I fucked up big time by being created.''he said, trying to make out what was going on around in the hospital.''The One? even the name sounds like a Cult of Personality'' He chuckled.''It may not be him that oppres us but They are his Hounds,The Director signs their pay checks,It is the Oligarchy he created that leechs on us,the Prole errr proleta....Working class! We shall rule ourselves! and as the General Secratary of SCoE said in his speech, soon there will be Peoples Assembly to replace this Autocratic Oligarchy'' he said,a bit irritated when he could not remember the word.''Thorn is a Sadist bitch! a Thug! I can understand why he is portrayed by men in the Theatre.'' He said, laughing a bit at remembering the Image.

James left Borbett's office making his way outside. He entered his personal car and drove off to Violet's estate.

Richard's car stopped outside the gate. He walked out and began making his way towards the mansion. "The landscape here was always delightful to view."James thought as he admired his surroundings. Arriving at the door he knocked twice and waited for someone to come.

Tyler took his helmet off and smacked himself, getting out of the daze of an old war, "S-Sorry ma'am..." he said, sliding his helmet on and standing up, following the boss to disarm the nukes, "Check your fire everyone." he said, as for common sense now.

"Desh." A man called out and Desh stopped in her tracks. "Where were you? The colonel is pissed." He walked up. He was a young Plain Dyn man, wearing military fatigues which seemed to be a more covering version of Desh's.

"Really? Is that how you address your superior?" She raised an eyebrow without looking at the soldier.

"I apologize... Sergeant major. Who is that?" He corrected himself and motioned his head at Tim. Desh knew her insisting on the full title was annoying to most people but she believed in being strict and specific.

"I don't have to answer to you, private. Dismissed." She said and carried on, without waiting for the soldier's reply. "That is going to come back to bite me in the butt." She sighed. "You should be less judging, you know?" Thorn smiled at Tim. "Just... Try not to see yourself as the center of the world. A lot of bad stuff is going on. A lot of good stuff as well."

The door opened and one of the maids smiled at James. "May I help you?" She tilted her head, keeping her eyes closed and her smile wide.

"I don't like this..." Victoria muttered once more under her breath, checking over her gear once more as the small van neared it's destination.

"Yea, we know. None of us really do, but this prick needs to die and if Red had done the task right the first time and not half-assed the shot then we wouldn't be here. I don't like the idea of attacking a public place with civilians either but we'll do what we have to. Besides, no one asked you and your job is only to come in after we cause the distraction and put a dome in the bastards head. No more, no less. We'll handle the rest, just shut up and do your job." A voice from the passenger seat growled back, startling Victoria from her thoughts.

Victoria's lips curled into a snarl at that but she quickly bit her tongue, not wishing to antagonize the man. "Here we go, everyone brace yourself, we're approaching the back entrance." The driver called back as the van began to accelerate. Victoria slipped a mouth piece in quickly as she grabbed tight to the side straps of her seat and braced her legs against it's frame as the van's speed grew quickly, accelerating until a large jolt and volley of noise confirmed that their van had made it through the rear doors.

Victoria's mission involved her waiting for the rest of the squad to disembark and move through the rest of the building as a distraction before she herself exited the vehicle and made a b-line for the exec in the upper floors. So that's what she did, holding back as the rest of the squad disembarked and began moving in. As the rest of them disembarked though they quickly began moving in ways Victoria wasn't privy to, beginning phase two of their own plan. The dummy disguises were soon tossed aside as smuggled MP gear was quickly revealed and donned.

"Alright boys, you know the deal. Markus order's are to execute civilians and city officials alike. We cause a massacre and blame it on the MPs and the government. Remember the pills if you're captured. Move." The man from before grunted to his group before they began moving into the hospitals lower floors, killing anyone they encountered.

To Victoria though it sounded like they'd only met some slight resistance from MPs or someone as she held her place in the fan until the gunfire seemed to fade away a bit. Then without further pause she quickly donned a mask of her own and burst from the vehicle towards the emergency stairwell, shooting open the door and quickly making her way up the stairs.

Upon hearing gunfire, Desh lowered Tim on the ground and placed a finger on her lips. The rushing and screaming people around her weren't a distraction as she looked at the floor. Lower floors. She thought, her eye narrowing as her hand drifted to her handgun. No radio, no rifle. She took a deep breath and unholstered her gun. "This will suck." She whispered and started walking slowly towards the stairs, her body tense, waiting.

'Gunshots...Fuck' thought tim as he,crawled towards what looked like a pillar.''It seems like your badluck strikes again Timmy boy,You'll be lucky if you get out of this alive'' he whispired to himself.Who would attack a hospital? The Red Army might be brutal in their torture and execution of Goverment Personal and Military yet he knew they atleast had the decency to spare the civilains as much as they could. So it was not SCoE but then Tim remembered that SCoE was not the only rebel group there were far worse groups in the Slums. He knew who organized this attack was most likely one of those less organized Radical groups. He chuckled without humor,These guys would get a good beating from the Red Partisans if not from the Military.

Victoria took the stairs two at a time, quickly finding herself out of breath upon reaching the third floor. "Fucking stairs..." she grumbled, pausing a moment by the door before proceeding so that she could catch her breath. "Hmmm...a Jonathan Steele...that's my target and he should be on this floor. Victoria took a moment to go over the details once more in her display, scrolling through the hospitals floor plans before raising her gun and stepping towards the door. Her destination wasn't too far, and the distraction should have ensured minimal resistance in her getting to the room.

Victoria slammed the door open, rushing forward about three feet as her brain took in the sight before her. Someone ahead, a gun in hand as they were slowly making their way this way. Victoria quickly raised her own gun and fired off three shots as she twisted towards a side hallway in case of return fire, entirely unsure if her shots would hit their mark. All three had been hurried, more meant to force the other person to disengage and seek cover of their own.

Victoria hugged up against the wall, taking another moment to assess the situation before trying to make any drastic moves. There wasn't supposed to be anyone up here armed, which was why she hadn't armored herself. But now here she was, unarmored with only a sidearm and mask. The mask would, at the most, stop small arms fire to a point, but the rest of her body was susceptible to the gun the other woman had. She'd have to be careful here.

Desh sidestepped and pushed herself against a wall, hiding from further gunfire. Giving herself a quick check, she saw her left sleeve was ripped and a bullet went cleanly through her shoulder. Her mind went clear, like always in such situations. She learned to focus on survival ever since a young age. It was a way of life for the Snow Dyn. Surviving in the wilderness, however, was one thing. Getting shot at was something completely different.

Desh pointed her gun around the corner and blindly fired twice, wanting to make sure the attacker wouldn't come closer. She tapped her pocket. Only one spare clip. Still, one target wouldn't be a problem for a trained soldier. Or at least, so she believed. Desh bit her lower lip as the pain from the gunshot finally worked its way through the adrenaline. She fired one more shot around the corner.

Victoria started to step out just as two bullets ripped past her, pinging off the wall inches from her face as she slammed back around the corner. Victoria took another break and spun back out, firing off three shots, although the second and third shot went wide as a third bullet that had been fired late slammed into her shoulder. Victoria quickly rolled back behind the wall, biting back a yell of pain as the wound hit her. She gingerly reached up, feeling the back of her shoulder to ensure the bullet had passed through. She soon found the exit wound, releasing a pained sigh of relief as she checked her mag and waited another moment to see what would happen next.

"You up for coffee after this?" Desh yelled over while making sure she stays around the corner and listens for any movement. "You know, if both of us get through this." She held her breath, hoping for an answer. She knew someone called the police or even the MP by now. She hoped. Out of so many people, there had to be one with quick fingers. If no one else, then the private that bothered her. She would definitely have a difficult time getting Tim out of the hospital now that it will be swarmed with reinforcements.

Desh shook her head, focusing her thoughts on what mattered - surviving until help arrives.
