Episode 2: The Wolf of New York

LA aimed a kick at the creature but it pounced quickly to the shadows, avoiding the attack.

"It reeks in here... reeks of the stench of gods..."  The creature let out a hoarse chuckle.  "Well girl, consider yourself lucky... you will be the first and last survivor... but not for long!"  The creature lunged at Sunni.

"Get away from her!"  Jim ran in between the huge creature and the little girl.

"Heh..."  The creature smacked Jim away with great force into a wall.  Causing him to black out.  He paused, looking at the girl and LA.  "It stinks too much..."  It said before dashing to the window and breaking it with the full force of it's body.  It started to dash away from the apartment with great speeds... dashing through rooftops on all three limbs.

Jim lay unconscious in the corner.

"Mr. Irons!" Sunni screamed as the man jumped out in front of her.

Watching him knocked against the wall seemed to finally stop Sunni from staying planted (haha get it? I'm done.) on the ground. Sunni dashed at what she now deemed her guardian, ignoring anyone nearby her.

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." she whispered. "I'm so sorry..."

It was her fault for not running, after all. Her skin and the air around her was oddly cold, but she didn't really notice that. Sunni looked at a man as he called the police. He had strange red eyes... red eyes like the mangler. Sunni widened her eyes and crawled closer to the wall furthest from the man. She still managed to stay close to Mr. Irons, though. She didn't want Mr. Irons to get hurt. She didn't want anyone around her getting hurt.

Please be okay... PLEASE be okay.

Nobu grows tired of waiting outside of the house. He watched some other people run in and gets slightly worried. He hears the loud commotion of some sort of fight and some screaming. What the hell's going on in there? All of a sudden, some sort of creatire busts out of a window and runs off. Anxious, he runs into the house. He know it's probably a bad decision, but he genuinely feels concerned for whomever is inside. Besides, he has his new powers. What could go wrong.

He runs into the room to see a few people, one of which are lying on the floor unconscious. "What the hell happened in here!?" He runs to the man with the glowing red eyes. "This isn't freakin' normal." It really isn't. It's too chaotic and nothing makes sense. "Someone explain what in the heavens just happened!" He grows worried. Red eyes and unconscious. They aren't a good mix.

(Sorry for some spelling and grammar issues. I'm on my phone and it's hard to type)

Jennifer watched the beast and some woman flee from the apartment through a window across the rooftops, extremely confused as to what the hell she'd just seen. Just a few moments later she saw some guy rush into the building. She debated going inside to see what the hell was going on, but, admittedly mostly due to cowardice, she just stayed right next to the doorway into the apartment, still invisible and trying to remain completely silent. She was still going to go along with the plan she'd laid out before, ambush the first person to exit through the doorway. Even she acknowledged that this was probably a completely idiotic idea, but, well, she couldn't think up any other plan at the moment. What she didn't acknowledge was that the most idiotic part of her plan. What if they didn't go through the doorway. She would just be wasting her time in this case, and, unsurprisingly, she didn't notice this major flaw in her plan.

Lavernius made the call to the operator. Turns out that it was a rather slow day and they had several emergency officials in the vicinity. Even better there would barely be any wait time for the ambulance. He looked up at the young girl and saw she was deathly afraid of him. "You. Are you this guy's daughter?" LA ignored the random man who had come into the room and focused on the girl. "Can you wait here with him? I need to go after them and make sure she's okay. The ambulance should be here in two minutes." He hopped to his feet and ran to the window. Lavernius jumped out of the window and saw them darting off. He started to run off before realizing he was on a damn roof. Really thought this one out. LA noticed a ladder nearby and slid down it.

The beast continued to dash from rooftop to rooftop, It looked at the vigilante chasing after it with the three eyes on it's right side.  "Heh... how relentless..."  It knocked down a brick fireplace with it's remaining arm, sending bricks flying towards Anastasiya.  It then dove down into the streets below.  There wasn't many people so the Mangler dashed through the dark alleyways.  The monster kept running until it reached the Mall.

When Anastasiya gets there, she will get overwhelmed by crowds of people.  The Mangler disappeared in a crowd of shoppers.

The ambulances and police cars soon arrived in Jim's apartment.  Paramedics soon rushed to Jim and felt his body for vital signs.  "Don't worry, he's still alive... unconscious but alive..."  The man told Sunni and placed a hand on her shoulder to reassure her.  The men continued to check every part of Jim's body... they found a black bruise on his chest from being struck by the Mangler.  "This is bad... we need to take him to the hospital and check if he fractured any ribs... we need to make sure we take care of his vital organs..."  The paramedics stated as he elevated Jim's chest.

The old man remained unconscious.

A couple of policemen came in with notes.  "Mind if we talk to you about what happened here?"

Jennifer was rather alarmed to see ambulances and police cars arrive at the apartment she'd been waiting outside of, and slowly and carefully snuck away from where she'd been kneeling. As she rounded the corner onto another street, the invisibility from earlier wore off, with rather convenient timing. "Welp. That was a complete waste of my time." She mutters to herself, going back to following the directions she'd been given earlier and heading back to her house, feeling more than a bit annoyed. All of her attempts to be a hero so far had been nothing but complete failures. "...I'm just not good at it yet, that's probably it...I'll manage to stop some criminals eventually..." She mumbles to herself, continuing to walk.

Lavernius tried to chase after the Russian woman and the beast. But, as he ran he began to feel more and more unreasonably fatigued. I'm used to long runs like this. Little did he know that his luck was kicking in big time and effecting his run. Every step he took fell just right and propelled him forward as much as possible. However, using his luck power for so long was taking it's toll on him. LA  jumped over a mirror two guys were caring and felt a massive headache coming on. He attempted to push through the pain and keep running, but couldn't catch his breath. Lavernius felt pure fear as he clutched his chest trying to breath. His eyes had turned an Onyx black and he fell against the wall. You see when LA used his Devil's Luck for too long it became the opposite. It made him unlucky. So, as Lavernius found himself struggling to breath and on the verge of losing consciousness, he found himself all alone on the block with no one else around to help him. LA dropped on to his knees and just before his eyes rolled back he could just make out the mall.

Sunni didn't reply as the man left, but she did stay with Mr. Irons. She watched, slightly dazed, as paramedics and all those people rushed in. Flinched a bit when a hand was placed on her shoulder. She watched as Mr. Irons was still unconscious. It was as if he was dead... but alive. She looked as the policemen came with notes, asking to talk to her. Sunni didn't really want to talk. She wanted to stay with Mr. Irons. She stayed silent, but started considering her options. She could flat out say no... or she could speak Japanese and confuse them... The girl looked back at Jim.

Thank goodness he's alive... she thought. But is he okay...?

The girl realized she was supposed to be answering a question. She looked back at the policemen, her face full of distrust.

Nobu stands back, watching as the paramedics enter the house. He still has no straight answer as to what is going on. Everyone is just ignoring him He only has one option if he wants answers: the girl. He looks over at her, noticing clear discomfort. She's being confronted by a policeman that wants answers too. He sighs and realizes he was about to hastily make a selfish move. Poor girl, he thinks. Lord knows what she just witnessed. And here I was, totally about to bother her about it. Nobu steps up to the cop and places a hand on his shoulder. He firmly says, "Hey, pal. She's clearly just been through a lot. How about you back off for a bit and let her recover before you go asking some questions, kay?" He let's out a long sigh. "She doesn't want to talk, so just step off." The police man steps back, realizing the girl's obvious discomfort. He turns back to the girl. "Just rest for a bit, okay. It'll all be fine." He tries to reassure the girl, but he still has no idea what she has witnessed. His questions could wait, though.

Anastasiya kept pressing onwards, but right as she was about to strike again, the Mangler knocked a fire place in her way. Instictively she moved to the left to twirl and dodge the fireplace bricks, but as one of the debris was about to hit her whip arm, which caused her to slow down to brace, it phased right through her. Which she remembered whatever happened did, to which she scolded herself internally. With some distance covered by the Mangler she continued her pursuit, although by now the Mangler reached a mall. But being daring she went and charged on, and for a while had been moving through the people, as if they were empty space. But then instinct told her to stop, as her body in her view began to phase to normal again. And once again she could collide with the physical world again. And she endured the drudgery of moving through crowds, which does not work well... She could now feel her empowerment slipping away as the Mangler slipped away. And all she could feel was exhaustion... Running like that is taxing. Now exhausted and irritated, she began to storm out of the mall. And she vented her frustration yelling in the parking lot in Russian. "K chertu vse eto k chertu! Chert poberi etot kusok der'ma soshlo!" (Fuck it all to hell! God dammit this piece of shit got away!) she holstered her whip. She then remembered she had to now make the long trek back to the apartment, she sighed deeply as she began the journey.

The medics were about to take Mr. Irons away. Sunni immediately tensed up. She was still perfectly still and silent, but the look in her eyes clearly indicated that she wanted to go with Mr. Irons to the hospital.

Nobu looks around the room, seeing if anyone besides the girl and the policemen and paramedics are here. None at all. I can't leave this girl alone. He looks back to the girl, noticing a look of desperation in her eyes. What is she looking at? He tries to track her eyes, which are clearly staring at the unconscious man that is about to be taken to a hospital. "Ohhh, I get it," he thinks out loud. Nobu's realized that she doesn't want to leave the man's side. Of course he's going by only a hunch, but it seems somewhat obvious to Nobu that the girl sees that man as someone important. She's so distraught, after all. "Why don't you go with him?" he asks the girl, looking back at her. "I'm sure he'd much rather wake up to someone he knows rather than a random doctor." He crosses his arms. He feels like he made the right choice, one way or another. Or maybe's just the confidence from his new powers. Who knows? Either way, he somehow feels obliged to help the poor girl. "Am I wrong?"

Sunni flinched when she heard a man, as if she hadn't been aware of his existence at all. The man has asked if she wanted to go with Mr. Irons, and Sunni nodded furiously.

"Then let's go," he says, planning on coming along too. He feels that she needs someone to keep her in check for now, at least until she has someone else that actually knows her to do so. "I'm Nobuyuki, by the way. My friends usually just call me Nobu." He offers his hand for a handshake. "What's your name, if I may ask?" He figures that if he'll be watching over her for a bit, they might as wall get acquainted with each other. His guitar case is still strapped on his shoulder, filled with money and the instrument. It's beginning to get heavy, so he switches shoulders. He stretches the now empty shoulder to get rid of the aching from the weight.

The man introduced himself as Nobuyuki but wanted her to call him Nobu. Sunni didn't shake Nobuyuki's hand.

So he's Japanese? she thought. I think I've heard of him... some rising music player or something...

The girl didn't even meet Nobuyuki's eyes. Instead she just flatly said, "Sunni."  She started walking out the door, wanting to get to the hospital already.

Nobu feels somehow... denied. Sunni had rejected his shake and didn't even bother to give him a look. He watches Sunni as she walks out to get to the hospital. He follows her and tries to make idle conversation. "So uh... Sunni, huh? That's a nice name." He feels so awkward right now, but continues to walk with Sunni anyway. "Do you like music at all?" It's the best that Nobu could think of at the current moment. He really has no idea what to say, but everything feels so tense; he really wants to lighten up the mood. He lets out a long sigh. Things are certainly awkward in every sense of the word. He taps his thigh as he walks, creating a soft beat. It's a bit of a nervous habit.

Sunni's face was a bit childish- it included pout and rather hateful eyes that looked sideways. The girl continued walking for a moment, letting the beat be the only sound when she finally said,

"Music's okay, I guess."

It really wasn't like her to be completely silent, after all, and this person was being so kind...

Now we're getting somewhere, Nobu thinks to himself. Beating his hand against his leg, he continues walking. "That's cool." He grows silent for a moment, allowing only the soft beat to be heard. Finally, he continues this sad little conversation with Sunni. "What kind of music do you listen to?" He looks around outside, as if it would somehow ease the mood. The breeze feels kind of nice, as the tense mood was making him feel hot. Real slick, Nobu. You really know how to make things smooth, he thinks, criticizing himself.

More silence and rhythm beats. This man seemed obsessed with music.

"Music." Sunni said stubbornly, quickening her pace.

She really wanted to get to the hospital and to end the goddang conversation already. She was pretty sure that the hospital was close...

Nobu says nothing for a moment, realizing her obvious frustration. He allows one last long sigh and looks down at his feet as he walks along the dull gray sidewalk. He might as well be the one to say it. His nervous beating stops. "Damn, this is awkward. Sorry for that. I just wanted to ease some tensions." He grows silent as she's clearly uncomfortable, too.

Bonnie and Clyde held on to each other as the sandstorm raged outside.  "A-are we going to die, Clyde!?"  She said as she hugged Clyde tightly.  "We ain't gonna die, baby!  Don't worry!"  Then he heard a loud bang... the sound of a strong wind crashing on the roof.  "EAAAYA!!!"  Clyde exclaimed.  "Just kiddin' darlin'  we are definately gonna die!"  Clyde yelled as they huddled closer together.  "Clyde!  I love you, baby!"  Bonnie said with tears in her eyes.  "I know baby!"  Clyde yelped out.

Gradually the howling sounds started to die down.

"H-Hey Clyde... listen... its fading!"  Bonnie said as the winds started to get weaker and weaker.

Clyde cupped his ear and placed it on the door.  "You're right babe..."  He said, listening outside,

He opened the door slightly to take a peek.

"Ouch!"  He recoiled.

"Huh?  Are you okay Clyde?"

"Got goddamned sand in my eye..."  He said rubbing it out.

Bonnie took her turn to peek.

"WHOAOAOA!"  She gasped when she saw the super fast blur running around their restaurant.

"Clyde... I think I found... Sonic the Hedgehog!"  She laughed.

This is stupid, Jonathan thought. Sure, there's some theory behind what he's doing but no one has ever solved a problem by running around it. I should just alert the police or something, he thought as he was about to slow down when he realized that the sandstorms were gone. He stopped to check and the twisters did die down, leaving nothing but a pockets of sand all around the building. "It worked!", Jonathan yelled while doing his own celebratory shimmy. Then he heard laughter. "EEK!", he stopped and instinctively covered his face. Someone was there?, he panicked. But the sign said the restaurant was closed at this hour. Doesn't matter, I'll just speed out of here!  He tried to lift his legs but they refused. Instead, he fell to the ground face first. A surge of fatigue washes over him. I... why can't I move? These were his last thoughts before consciousness left him. The grumbling of his stomach would be audible every now and then.

@IamNotLoki

Finally, after a walk that seemed like it had taken forever, Jennifer had made it back home. Normally she'd just play some video games to pass the time, but, no, she had planning to do. She headed upstairs to her room, plugging her dead phone into the charger and grabbing her laptop. You know what they say, you can find anything on the internet, if you know the right places to look. So, she began her search for a few...supplies. Bullet proof vests were the first thing she looked for. They were...surprisingly cheap compared to the price she'd expected. She managed to find a couple for around a hundred bucks, and just bought two of them, just in case. She wasn't likely to use them except for in cases where she was expecting to walk into somewhere dangerous, but it was still a good idea to have them on hand just in case. She wasn't exactly looking to keep her identity a secret, so she didn't bother looking for a costume, since really what good was some pre-made costume when she could make one herself, or have one custom made for her. A mask, however, seemed like a good idea. She didn't want it to cover her entire face though, since that seemed pretty uncomfortable, so she just ordered a black domino mask. After all, the mask was more for dramatic flair than any actual purpose. And that was pretty much all she'd need for the time being really. Or, at least, all that she could think of that she'd need. Well, other than a grappling hook, so she could climb up to high places, but she highly doubted she'd find one of those on the internet. Or at least she did until she found one for a pretty cheap price by accident. "Fifteen bucks? Not a bad price, not bad at all!" She says to herself, buying it without hesitation.

Now what was she to do though? She was pretty exhausted, and wasn't likely to leave the house for a while, and definitely wasn't going to leave until her phone was actually charged this time. She was pretty bored though. At first, she was tempted to just lie down, play some video games and rest for a while, but she decided on something more productive. She walked downstairs and out to her backyard, holding out her right hand with the palm facing toward the sky. "Okay, now I just need to figure out how to do what I did earlier, with the...erm... energy έκρηξη-" As soon as that word left her mouth, a burst of energy came out of the palm of her hand, heading upwards and slightly to the right, hitting a small branch off of a tree in her backyard and sending it crashing to the ground. "...OK THEN..." She says, lowering her hand. Once again she'd been in the middle of saying something, and suddenly she ended up saying something in a language she didn't recognize, and something happened. She knew what she'd meant to say, but, still, it was very strange. "Well, now that I've figured this out...sort of...what to do now?...Meh, I'm just gonna play some video games for a while, wait till my phone's charged. Maybe later I'll go for another walk." She mutters to herself, heading inside to do just that.

Elsa held back a chuckle and facepalmed.  "David, David, David... I told you once and I'll tell you again..."  Her eyebrows tilted up and looked at him sympathetically.  "Haven't you read the note we left in the box?  You can do anything you want.  You can tell anyone about the cards if you want, you can rip up your card... if that makes you happy.  We never wanted to get in your way..."  Elsa shook her head and dropped down her open palms to the her side.  "We have absolutely no desire to stop you from making this public... If that is what you wish, go for it!  More power to you!  Take the statements of "Elsa" and publish it on the internet, hell if I care..."  Her voice got more and more condescending.  "I will not do anything for you that will interfere with the progress of the other participants... nor will I do anything to interfere with your plans..."  Elsa laughed so hard that tears came from her eyes.  The thugs vanished and the corpses on the floor also blurred away... the event was just an illusion.  "Do you know why we allow you to keep doing anything you want?  It's because we already own the world, my ambitious pet... nothing you can do can alter the course of humanity..."  She walked up to David and grinned at him.  "Do... whatever.. you want..."  She whispered to his ear.  "I'll just keep watching..."  She said seductively to his ear.

"Sorry for startling you, If this is all you need from me... I'll leave you to your own devices..."  She said as she turned around and moved gracefully towards the doorway.  "Farewell!"

David Corrigan

Location: What's The Scoop: Ice Cream Parlor - 2nd Floor - Office

David sat back and realized what just happened, not speaking a word back to Elsa as she left. He was left looking at her in awe and surprise. Long after Elsa left, about a minute, he looked at his phone, listening to the recording he made. David started to think about everything he had just witnessed. "The world's yours?" He asked, repeating her words in clear sadness, as if he had lost. The first thing that David hated most was being threatened, or feeling threatened in any way; death in general. And the second thing was losing, or being rolled over in a deal. David felt... absolutely powerless. With no defense. He felt at the mercy of the Olympus Group, and he hated that. More than anything.

David frowned aggressively, his hands started to shake and he could feel his blood boiling. David squeezed the phone in his hand and looked at his own reflection in the glass. His skin was red and he was sweating in anger. David took a deep breath, returning to a more tranquile and calm state. He realized and admitted his defeat. "No, it's over," The man realized again, that he was completely, absolutely powerless. William walked into the room. The dog made his way towards his owner, and David pet him. "What do we do, William? Submit, or die?" and soon after he spoke the words, William barked at David. David thought for a moment, then said. "Wait... What am I? French? How about resist! That's my boy!" David looked at William, attributing the idea he just came up with to the dog. David took a dog treat from his shelf and threw it to the loyal companion, then added. "That horrendous ice witch may have won the battle, but not the war. But for now, It's the war for the throne I want to see."

David grabbed the TV remote and started watching Game of Thrones.

*1 HOUR LATER*

David was fast asleep on his chair, with the TV still on. He woke up when he heard a loud sound. It was music, more specifically his ringtone.

David felt his phone shaking in his pocket and quickly made a search for it. David pressed the button on his screen and picked up. The music stopped, and David quickly cleared his throat, confidently speaking. "This is David." And heard murmuring coming from the other side. "Oh, Carl. What's up?" David asked, scratching his cheek. After some more murmuring came through, David kept answering. "Yeah. Mhm. Uh-uh." David waited, as a longer partion of speech came through the other side. "Mangler, eh? Jim Irons got hurt? Why do I care--" Just after the question, David's face heard an answer and his face started getting red, and more red, as if he was angry. David bursted out into anger. "YOU HAVE WHO TIED UP WHERE? I'M ON MY WAY!" David rushed out of his office and ran to the car.

David burst through the door of an old warehouse. Shadows covered each corner, and there were wooden boxes around. The main pathways were enlightened by spotlights that stood in the corners of the room, or by lamps that hung from the ceiling. In the very middle of the warehouse, there was a man tied up to a chair, with a sack on his head. Around him stood several people dressed in red and black colors; the gang color of The Demons. David looked at the man tied up in the middle of the room... he wore a golden eagle insignia, along with a badge of a medallion with an eagle on it. The badges were both golden, or at least colored like gold. The man wore a white shirt. David quickly recognized the symbols and knew who this was. David looked around and said. "You guys... You know how to make me happy. This is the best birthday gift I could have wished for!" He looked at one of the gang members who were now chuckling in success.

"Carl!" David exclaimed. "Come here, my golden child! Let me kiss you!" David neared the man and gave him two kisses on both cheeks. "So Carl... how did you do this?"

The man responded. "Uh, I didn't... actually, boss. It was Tommy Vercetti, over there!" Pointing towards another man. Tommy had white sleek hair overflowing with hair gel. He wore executive sunglasses and a blue shirt with palm tree designs on it. He also wore white Nike shoes and jeans. David approached Tommy and kissed him on both cheeks like he did with Carl. "Tommy, right? My boy. You... YOU!" David looked at the man in the sunglasses and laughed in genuine happiness, shaking his arms like a child that drank too much red bull in one go. Tommy laughed along David, hoping to get his sympathy. Tommy then said. "So, uh... I did good?" And David said. "Oh, nonono. Don't worry. You're NOT in trouble. This!? THIS IS PERFECT!" He pointed to the Police Officer with the rank of Inspector and laughed even more. "As for you Carl, you're a sad failure. Get rid of him." David reluctantly waved his hand to Carl, and then the gang members took the man. "What?! NO!" Carl yelled as he was dragged out to be murdered.

"But, you... Tommy!" David turned back to the man behind him. "You're getting promoted to First Lieutentant..." Which was Carl's old rank. David smiled brightly and said. "Here." Giving Tommy a keychain with several keys on it. Tommy looked up at David, trying to show smile as an expression of gratitude, but he was also scared of his boss' sudden ecstasy. "Woah, sir. You really like police officers?" David answered. "Oh, I love 'em! They make nice toys until they get broken." In a humorous voice. Then David showed him what each key did. "This is for the Lamborghini, this is for the Penthouse Sweet--" but Tommy interrupted him. "Penthouse Sweet?!" He asked, not knowing what that meant. David explained. "It's the best apartaments in New York. Now get out of here, Tommy. Take a day, or two off. Enjoy life. YOU'VE. EARNED. IT!" David said again, laughing in joy. Tommy left the warehouse like David ordered to, exclaiming. "Thanks, boss!"

David walked up to the unconcious Police Officer and took the man's badge, then wallet and all other possessions that were important. Everything police-affiliated was taken. He looked at his gang members showing them the 'loot,' "Do you guys know what we can do with these?!" The gang members answered in unison: "YEAH!" David then spoke. "You know what we can do?" To which he heard a repeated response. "YEAH!" David smiled and looked at the documents, papers, ID, police badge... and chuckled. Then David murmured to himself. "A little forgery... and Detective Corrigan is. In. The. Force..." David turned to the gang members and then said. "Kill this idiot and then go sell drugs, or whatever. Mug someone... I don't give a damn..." Leaving behind in an uncaring way. He kept staring at his newly obtained items of great power. They would let him do so many things, with so little forgery.

One of the demon gang members neared the Inspector and took a colt 1991 pistol in their hands, shooting it through the Inspector's cranium. A quick, painless death. Soon, all of the gang members left the scene. David, meanwhile got in his car and took out his phone. He called a friend of his, then said. "Hey, you know how you owe me a favour?" After a short answer, he continued to speak. "I need you to do a little forgery for me. That's all." David heard another response, whilst he started up the car's engine. He responded. "Great. Meet you there in half an hour."

@The Omen of Death (In case Anastasiya would like to investigate.)

As Anastasiya wandered down the streets heading back to the apartments. She was thinking of her next plans of action, against the Mangler. One of the things she found noteworthy, was how many things was on its list of things that needed to be punished. She knew now that it slipped through her grasp, she needed to be vigilant and keep an eye out and continue to investigate as well as listen for the whispers, since if she was quick enough she could use it to guide her and catch up to the Mangler for round 2. Pondering this she wondered why it would now target a younger person. All the while she needed to figure out the issue with that ability that made her translucent and allowed her to go through objects, since it would prove very useful. That's when she heard the whispers again... This one was a male, and it was calling her to somewhere relatively close by, and it was not too far of a detour from the apartment. And so picking up her pace she used it to guide her there. Anastasiya then reached her destination and figured out that it was a supposedly abandoned warehouse. Then as she opened up the doors she saw the body of a man in police uniform, with a bag over his head and a bullethole. She chuckled slightly to herself with her black humor and mused to herself "Heh, fucking idiot didn't even decide to dispose of the body properly." Before wandering in, her calculating, analytical eyes darted around the interior taking in the following...

The warehouse was full of stockpiled crates, that reached nearly towards the ceiling. The ceiling itself was shrouded in darkness, except for several glass panels that let faint light go through. The crates and wooden boxes all around the warehouse created a neat maze of sorts and could be used as cover, or means of finding a stealthy approach. The main paths between the crates were lightened up by spotlights that stood on the very edges and corners of the whole building, or by large, slightly defunct lamps that hung from the ceiling. There were some tight off-routes between the crates, that created cramped side-alleys of sorts. One could hear footsteps, and even talk amongst the maze of crates. Anastasiya definitely wasn't there alone. The people's conversations were rather unclear, but one could make out some of the words; one was sure. They weren't to no good. All of them were either talking about drinking later, or crime. They also spoke in a tone as if it was casual everyday activity to them. This warehouse was full of people that an ordinary citizen wouldn't mess with, or hell - even approach. In the very middle, in a cross-section of the maze stood a particularly well-lighted fraction of the space. In the middle of it was the dead corpse of a man in a police uniform, of unintelligible rank and level, as it seems their badge was taken away. Whoever it was, looked to be male and possibly in their 50's, but to get a better look Anastasiya would have to approach and take the sack off of the dead man's head. The corpse's uniform and sack were covered in blood, with a noticable bullet hole in it's forehead area.

Soon after Anastasiya came in, a gang member approached said corpse and started untying it from the chair, however he was facing backwards to her. This made for a perfect occassion for Anastasiya, as the man was clearly preparing to get rid of the body, and thus all evidence. They were cleaning up now.
