So, I've never been involved in an RP with more than 1 active RP thread. Is there some etiquette or rule for how these work or who posts in which?

I feel that generally in this roleplay, we are really going to only be replying in three, or maybe four of them. The In character roleplay is of course where the main roleplay goes down. This thread is for random tidbits, talking, questions, etc. The character post thread is for characters, and then depending on how this roleplay goes, theres a second IC tab I guess, for side parts maybe? Anyway, the other tabs are really only for information that the author of the roleplay has, take the Lore tab for example, or the settings tab. The neutral character one is sort of like an ask, and then make, sort of thing...

All the roleplays vary depending on who makes them. Some roleplays only have the three essential ones, like character sheet, IC, and OCC, as well as the overview, which is naturally just an overall look into the roleplay's plot, and a little teaser to entice people to join.

@BEX Thanks for the timely reply, but actually, I was talking specifically about the 2 rping threads. I'm perfectly comfortable with the various out of character threads.


To refine my question; Is there some definition of what goes in which in character thread and are there any rules for moving characters between the threads. I suppose a mod will have to tell us this before we start but if someone would like to suggest how previous RPs have worked I'd be interested to know.

I would only assume that the second IC tab is for side stories really, while the main is for the actual plot as a whole.


I guess we will eventually know the details of it though, after it isn't "under construction," anymore.
