"Please! Don't!"
Screams rang out in the cold night air of Eluvia. The weather was dark and storming, brief flashes of lightning followed by the heavy boom of thunder and rain illuminating the terrified man's sopping wet face. His black leather attire signified he was in a gang, and Jack needed information. Every plea of release the man bleated permeated frost from his breath in the high altitude, his legs kicking feebly while dangling over the skyscraper ledge. His jacket was held by a large armored hand, the gangbanger desperately clinging onto it. If Jack didn't get the information he needed, he would have to drop him to the many, many stories below.
"Where is she?" Jack quietly growled, the boom of his own voice rivaling the thunder under his mask. The burning red glow of his mask reflected against the man's shocked face, it's hard light burnt into his retinas. Jack shook his informant a bit, and he responded with a soft yelp and a tighter grip on his wrist.
"I-I can't tell you! They'd kill me!" He begged, shaking like a leaf in Jack's grip. He only growled, his voice being changed by the voice box built into his helmet to a robotic rumble
"You don't think I'll kill you? I thought you knew who I was."
"Oh, god. Oh, god. Please don't."
"Say my name. Answer your fears, whelp."
"Gh-ghost! You're Ghost. Oh, god. God, he-help me!"
"You don't answer to Him, anymore. You answer to me." Jack swung his arm, throwing the screaming boy back onto the rooftop. As he scrambled to get up, sliding on the ground away from Jack's intimidating figure, Jack picked him up again, lifting him completely into the air by his shoulders.
"You know who I am!" Jack shouted, shaking him and throwing him back to the ground, terrifying him further. "You know that if you don't tell me what I want to know, I will tie a noose around your neck and hang you from atop this building, murderer."
"I'll tell you anything! You w-want Rena?!" He cried, throwing his hands up in defense. He remained huddled on the ground, even too scared to stand again. "I'll transfer the data from my optics! Th-there! Her location!"
Jack paused, checking the data. Inside his helmet, he scanned the file, reading the coordinates. "You're on my list." He whispered under his breath, a death call.
"You got your information! I gave you what you wanted. Please, Gh-Ghost. Let me go. I gave you what you wanted!" The gangbanger sobbed on the rooftop floor, gazing up at him. Jack looked down, staring him in the eyes through his visor as he pulled out his pistol and aimed it between his eyes, pulling the trigger. He turned away from the slumped figure, steam issuing from his pistol barrel as he scanned Rena's location. "I'm coming for you."
