Fantasy Elements

midnightrose

One Thousand Club
Long ago when bending elements was aloud there was peace but soon war to over and people began abusing their powers. People with the ability to bend was killed immediately. Those who survived hid among people. Present day, there are still elementals around. Those group of kids must join together and end the war that has been going on for centuries.

A noise caused Willow to awake from her sleep. She sprung her head up from the tall grass that surrounded her, looking for a disturbance. Sure enough, three officers walked towards her, swords in hand, scouring the area for rogue travelers and benders. To them, this field was the government's - and therefore the King's - land.

Willow smirked as she thought of an idea. "Excuse me! Hey, officers!" She jumped up in the grass that reached her waist, flailing her arms comically.

"Look, a girl!" One guard said to another, "She's probably the bender they saw in town!"

"Hey, girl! You aren't supposed to be here, this is the King's land. Where are you from?" The haughtiest of the three guards led his group up to the small girl, his hand on his sword.

Will smiled angelically. "Oh, I wasn't hurting anyone, just roaming this pretty field," She admired the scenery in awe. "Well, until I saw you. But I like your sword. I could get good money for it!" The little girl chuckled.

"Wha--?" The guard squinted at the puny girl like he had heard her wrong - that is, until she unfolded two giant fans from her side, using a gust of air to sweep the surprised men off their feet and onto the ground. Willow laughed, a sound like a thousand wind chimes. The two weaker guards looked to their brave superior for instruction, but he only silently and furiously unsheathed his government issued sword. "Why you little bending BRAT! Coming onto the King's land, trying to make fools of his MEN! We will show no mercy, even if you are just a little DEVIL GIRL!" He boomed.

The girl only beamed innocently. "Going easy on me?" She asked him, "I wouldn't dream of it."

Needless to say a battle ensued. In the end (to keep this short), the three guards were hogtied together by the air-commanding child. She took their heavy weapons and slung them on her small back, using her element to give the men atomic wedgies for good measure.

"Don't worry!" The girl smiled and waved back to the men as she set out to the city to sell the swords for food money, "I'm sure someone will find you soon! Thank you for the swords, Mister!"

(Sorry this was so long, the following will be shorter!)

Sapphire was sitting in one of the highest trees outside the kings land. Making little smoke, black clouds in the palm of her hand and watching them disappear.

From this tree, she could see everything. The kingdom, village, fields, the whole other side of the forest. She came here often, to clear her mind of such rubbish and hatred from her past and present days.

She jumped down, branch from branch until she was at a reasonable distance and jumped off the tree. She was walking towards the village until hearing yells for help and mercy. She frowned, walking to the edge of the woods and peeking through the trees. Guards... All who had wedgies and confused.

Sapphire hated guards with all her heart, rolling her eyes and scoffing to herself, she simply walked away. But then it came to her.. Who had the balls to take 3 guards down? And especially in an opened field... ?!

Willow casually and calmly strutted towards the village, taking her good old time. Whistling with her head held high to the sun, and her eyes closed in content. Well, actually...

"Whew," She gave a low whistle. "These swords sure are heavy..." Seeing that the village was only about 2 miles away now, she decided to take a seat on a small boulder and rest up. The sun beat down hot on her, and she was beginning to be sleepy once again. "Maybe I'll just take a short nap..." She curled into a ball, and fell into a deep sleep once again.

Amanda walked down a road in the middle of the woods playing with her wter. She had a half smile on her face as she walked. She loved how peaceful it was out here. She loved spending some time in the woods.

((Sorry if this is short it will be longer next time:P))

"Yaaawwwn!" Willow gave such a big yawn that the little girl was thrown backwards by its power. "Welp, looks like I might as well get to the village now!" Sitting up from the giant rock she was napping on and grabbing her stolen loot, Willow flew off the rock and began walking to town - but something caught her eye. A splash of dark hair was walking through the field towards town. Willow looked at the gigantic swords slung onto her back, and sighed under their weight. Without a second thought, she yelled to the stranger. "OOOOooiii! You over there! Would you mind helping me out?" @Shawna

"Another morning, another robbery" Flora mumbles as she woke up at the village park. She walked over to the water fountain to wash off her face. She she slowly creeped up behind the bakery she entered through the back door and took 5 pieces of bread (You never know when your going to get hungry though out the day) and she quickly left the small shop. Feeling satisfied she went to the main part of the village and sat on the bench. Waiting for anything weird to approach her as she quickly devoured her first bread.

She blinked a few times, hearing a call. She looked around and saw a girl. She weakly smiled and nodded, walking over to her.

"They look pretty heavy." She said lowly with a small smile, strapping one on each of her shoulders so she was carrying two and the girl was carrying one.

"Wow, thank you. This is so much lighter now! I can move so much more freely!" Willow gave her new companion a toothy smile, jumping high into the air - she stopped mid-air though, remembering that benders are hunted and most people can't just as high as her. Willow attempted to lower herself to the ground as normally as she could, then grinned.

"I'm Willow. Willow Wayward. Thank you for helping me, girl! You know, since you're helping, it's only fair that you get a little profit too. Once we sell these in town, take half the gold!"

"Sapphire Stone." She smiled, noticing how high she had jumped. She ignored it, not minding if she was a bender or not.. Considering she was one herself.

She looked down at the girl, smiling and shaking her head in refusal.

"No, it's okay!" She chuckled. "I really don't need any gold. I don't.. Go in town." She weakly smiled

"Sapphire Stone." The girl said politely to Willow, the flicker of fire in her voice. It sounded to Willow like the name of a princess. Sapphire shook her head, refusing Will's offer. "No, it's okay!" She said with a nice laugh, then continued to say that she didn't need gold, and she never traveled into town.

At this, Willow raised a suspicious eyebrow. The nation is going through a depression, one caused by the new dictatorship and their mass genocide. This girl was being polite to not accept gold, too polite. She probably felt bad for Willow, the air bender decided. "Come on," Willow rolled her eyes and grabbed the girl's hand, "I can take care of myself, you aren't taking my money, don't worry." Will began pulling Sapphire Stone towards town.

Sapphire frowned on confusion. Did she say something that this girl didn't like? Or did she make her uncomfortable? She didn't know, just let the girl take her hand and drag her.

"What do you mean?" She asked softly with a frown. Willow ha quite the grip, she could admit that. And she seemed.. Determined?

After finishing her 2nd bread, Flora realized how dupirty her clothes were and decided to play (as she called it) " The innocent little girl" she walked over to a clothes shop and asked in her morpst innocent voice possible " Sorry to bother you, but do you have any clothes I could have? You see I'm very poor and my poor mum is so sick so we have no money and-" She was cut of there, as the woman was holding back tears. " of course sweety come here. (Hugs Flora) Lets see, green seems to fit u best... So... Here perfect have these if you need anything else just come back anytime." She replied as she handed her a beautiful dress, shoes and a seprete outfit.

"That worked a little too well" Flora mumbled as she put on the dress and returned to the bench facing the entrance to the village... Waiting and watching...

"Don't worry, the two of us will get some much needed gold soon! Enough to buy a few bags of sweets, I think! Haha!" Willow smiled at Sapphire while dragging her to town, along with the loot. Soon enough they reached the town's bustling entrance, and were hit with a busy atmosphere. Smells of spicy herbs, the braying of impatient cattle, merchants calling out at passersby, the twinkling of coins exchanging pockets, a splashing fountain of water. Willow loved traveling to small towns, they just felt so... real.

"Looks like we made it, Sapphy! I'm parched. Lets get a drink at the fountain first, then try to find the wealthiest merchant to sell these swords to!" Willow beamed at the thought, and led her new friend to the giant fountain in the town's center. Unbeknownst to the two travelers, a girl at the fountain's bench was already watching them. @CelestialBunny

Flora looked at the two somewhat tired girl walking towards the fountain. She decided to talk to them. "Hey! I'm Flora what are your names and what are you doing with those weapons?"

Sapphire was never this talkative.. Not in a while anyway. She swallowed as she walked with the girl, giggling at the adorable nickname she gave her. She noticed the fountain and a girl there who had introduced herself to them. She gave her a warm smile.

"I'm Sapphire Stone. I'm helping Willow out with carrying them. Taking them to a merchant and what not"

"Well, Hello and welcome to the village!( waves her hands to point at the village) Need any help?" She told the girl. "Want some bread?" Shows her the 3 remaining bread from her morning theft.

"Hi Flora! I'm Willow, Sapphire and I are gonna sell these swords in the market!" Willow smiled at the new girl and nodded, hunched under the weight of the gigantic sword on her back. "Well welcome to the village!" Flora greeted the girls, then offered to help. Willow smiled and thanked the girl, then said, "Uhm I think I've got mine, Sapphire might need some help, she carrying two swords. What do you say, Sapphy?"

Waiting for Sapphire's response, Flora added, "Want some bread?" Willow's jaw dropped. She was famished...

"Bread?" She asked free from tact, "Yeah, I'd love some! I bet Saph is hungry to. Do you have enough for yourself? That's awfully kind of you. We can pay you back once we sell our loo-- our swords!"

Flora looked at Willow's response and lightly laughed. Being a theif herself she could easily tell who was and wasn't a theif. "Trust me I have more than enough bread for myself" she replied while handing the older girls some of her bread.

She politely took the bread, thanking her.

"Yes.. We should use the help." She weakly smiled, taking one of the swords off her shoulder and resting it on the in her hand.

"Are you sure it's not too much trouble?"

"Trust me it's not. I could actually use the exercise all I do all day is go around the village stealing stuff and growing the garden." She reassured the older girl as she took a sword. -wow this is heavy-she thought but didn't let it show

"Yes, we could use the help..." Sapphire smiled and handed one sword to their new companion, Flora. Willow ate her loaf of bread eagerly, and before she knew it, her hands were empty. Only breadcrumbs were left dusting her cheeks. "Are you sure it's not too much trouble?" Sapphire asked politely. Willow looked over at Flora sheepishly, having already inhaled her bread. She gave a nervous laugh and rubbed the back of her neck. "Yeah, it's awful nice of you."

"Trust me, it's not." Flora responded, then added that it was easy to steal enough food in this village.

A thief? Willow thought to herself.

She was aware that they were both thieves... She had her ways but stayed isolated. She walked with the girls, looking around to find the best merchandiser.

Amanda slowly made her way to the village. Once she got there she put on her hood. A bit of her blue hair was sticking out of it. She made her way over to a food stand. She looked at the apples and quickly took one. She started to eat it as she walked away

Flora just decided to stay quiet and follow the girls. Granted she had nothing better to do so she just stayed along side them. She knew nothing of merchants they always freaked her out. She didn't know why but they just did.
