Marissa's main weapon is a special hilt used as a stable conductor of electricity. Using her control of lightning, Marissa is able to create a whip of lightning and functions like a paralizer whip. As for her metal whip, Marissa uses this mainly for back up if she ever loses her hilt or she is in combat training. The metal is a mix of durable but swift metal with a sharp point at the tip, making its hit a painful one.
Special Skills:
By reversing the flow of lightning to travel inwards, Marissa's skin covers itself in series of electric pulses. With the energy being so compacted against her skin, if someone were to touch Marissa they would be shocked or in the worst case, paralyzed for a few seconds. With struggle Marissa can expand her pulses to a 2 foot radius around her. However this causes the flow to weaken and the slightest loss of focus will make Marissa lose her barrier. Finally, for a quick getaway, Marissa can concentrate her electric pulses to the tips of her fingers creating a high electricity current. One jab from Marissa's fingers, and a person will be out like a light. Yet like her barrier, keeping the concentration of lightning in her fingers requires almost all of Marissa's focus to maintain it.
Classes Overview:
Being the athletic kind of girl she is, Marissa takes Advance Combat and Adavanced Elemental Control, both classes Marissa exceeds in with flying colors. She also takes Monster Mythology, Mythical History, and potions class.
Clubs:
As clubs go, Marissa is not a huge fan of them. That is why Marissa only participates in one club.
Although some may doubt it, Marissa participates in the Student Government as the House Leader for Lightning. Marissa was elected in her 2nd year, after many of the other fulgurmancers agreed that her sharp tongue, great memory, and her 'strong' persistence for the spot despite her anxiety made her seem like a good leader. Since then she has improved in her skills as a leader for Lightning and better in her debates and decisions in the Student Government. (Of course if this isn't taken and fine by you)
Sports:
In Gauntlet run, Marissa started the obstacle course sport in her 1st year out of peer enjoyment of a challenge. 2nd year she had held the record up until her 3rd year when a hydromancer had taken that from her. Ever since then Marissa has worked harder then anyone else to try and beat the new record.
Marissa entered the Battle of champions in her 3rd year, and by luck Marissa somehow made it into the top 5 of the competition. However she had to forfeit her spot after she was close to getting herself disqaulified from the competition all together.
She started playing Siege Defense in her 2nd year and finds it as her favorite sport by far. Even though she has to communicate with others, she is able to stick to one team and get to know them well.
Other:
Although what she says is pretty straight forward and she is not afraid to make a snarky comment here and there, Marissa is a caring and nice person when you get to know her. Thanks to her ability to sense other people's emotions, she is a great conversationalist and person go vent too. Also she is a pretty good cook and can whip up some sweet masterpieces. However she has extreme social anxiety, which causes her to mainly seem like a stuck up girl who pretends to like people.
One more thing about Marissa is that when she is in a stressful situation or the brink of danger, she goes into this sort of attack mode. While she is like this, Marissa will not care about her actions as long as she remains alive. Sometimes causing her control to waiver with emotion.
