And so the group of Adventurer's traveled to the Depths of the Palm. As Shineko awaited for them, and Reynald trying to figure out his way to Susukino. Alistair and his crew would travel with ease. Not only did Alistair wonder about how horrible Susukino could be, he also was intrigued by how someone could take hold of Susukino so quickly, even a few months is commendable. But that was the least of his problems, he wanted to make sure that the low leveled Adventurer known as Azrael would be able to hold out long enough with their caretaker until they got their. He was sure whoever was in charge was looking for Azrael extensively... "

"Because waiting for daylight hours to end by yourself is boring if you have nothing fun to do," Vanessa coyly replied. After hearing Gyoken's question, she let out a "Hmmm," as she stroked her chin. "Can't say that I do, but I can keep an eye out for you. However..." Vanessa smirked. "I don't work for free. It'll cost you some coin, or you could allow me to skip a couple 'protection' payments. Your choice. Though the money is just going to end up back in your pockets anyway. What do you say, tiger? Do we have a deal?

Cleopatra and Jeeves
Cleopatra and Jeeves watched as Alistair and the others arrived at the Depths of Palm. They pushed themselves off of the big rock they had been sitting on and stood up. "Is this everyone?" Cleopatra asked Alistair in a regal tone of voice. The lioness werecat wasn't trying to be impatient, but much like Alistair, she too was worried about how bad Susukino was.

Gyoken - The Dictator of Susukino.

Gyoken smirked his plans would soon enough fall into perfect order. "Payment is of no problem with me, I'll gladly pay you for your services. And you may keep the money, as a little "gift" from me. I want that little brat, beaten to 1 HP if need be. I'm sure you can find them. Just make sure the Phoenix that comes with that brat is safe and sound." Gyoken turned, resting his sword against his shoulder, slightly pulling it out of its sheath. It was a masterpiece, glowing with elemental enhancement...Was he the first and only person who has figured out this new technique? This new skill? He was able to use his swordsmithing alongside magical enhancement. Something never before seen unless from boss loot drops...Though it took quite a few trial and errors. He was able to create a katana that utulized fire imbument without even needing anyone from a magic class. He wanted to keep it under wraps, and he would only use it against the most worthy of opponents..

Alistair nodded to Cleopatra as he landed, his Griffon deciding to lay down and take a rest from the flying. "Yes, this is everyone. Katsu, you and Jeeves, Shineko, me, Bacchus and hopefully Reynald. If he finds his way..You can never be too sure about him, he might lose his way but he will turn up eventually when the going gets rough."

Though Alistair was thinking of Susukino, his mind wandered to about a month ago when he was alone in his study. He had bought himself a rather large estate, one fit for a Guild, close to Akihabara but far enough away for the peaceful quietness that Alistair enjoyed... Gyoken wasn't the only one who figured out about Overskills. But at this time there wasn't a name for it yet. Though Alistair was only testing what could possibly be done. He did not master his own like Gyoken did, instead he had a darker thought in his head..One that would require not only his newfound power, but one that would poke and prod the skills Katsu owned as well. He hoped to ask Katsu of this dark deed after Susukino..Though Alistair would be in for a big surprise, where he and the rest of the party would learn the true power behind this new skill they could inherit.

"These doors are bigger than I imagined. But I guess it's because we're in the game." Bacchus slurred through a swig of his specialty, 'Spiced Sake of the Gods'. He stared after dismissing his dragon mount, almost ignoring the other high leveled players, he was suddenly caught in amazement by the entrance to the Depths of Palm. He approached until he was able to touch the doors and spoke once more, "Now no matter how many people we have here, this was a pretty low level dungeon. I could probably taken it down by myself. But the fun thing about this, once we got to this awesome world, everything changed." He paused, finally getting hit by the Sake he has been drinking, seeming to gain more composure by straightening his back and speaking with an enhanced tone and eloquence, "I should probably warn all of you once more. We don't know what will happen once we enter. Whether we die or not, and whether we can respawn. I know that I'm ready for whatever comes my way, but if you're having any second thoughts, turn back now." Bacchus held his gourd towards the group before blinking with his uncoordinated eyes, seeming to become more drunk. This monk was truly an anomaly of drunkenness.

Rok's heavy breathing filled the dark forests silence. Each breath steamed, showing itself from the fire of his camp. Very simple tent, fire, and a fence made of trees and brush. He took a bite of some bland tasting pork, choking it down with some water, cringing after every swallow. His low voice grumbled, "This is gonna suck if I have to eat this to survive. But I guess it's better than starving." Rok's grey hand outstretched to pet his companion wolf. Perks of being a half-orc apparently transferred to other servers. Since the Catastrophe, the character known as OdinsRok was one of the very few that accepted their new world in a quick and adaptable fashion, deciding that his low level would become something that would have to change immediately. Not knowing what the world was coming to, and not being able to be properly prepared for such a thing, Rok decided that increasing his level was the best way to start. For the past couple of weeks, Rok has been in the forests just outside of Susukino, camping, killing boars mostly, and grinding. He had been keen on not wanting to die, and for a good reason, hence his start with creatures he knew he could take down without coming close to low health and risk getting ambushed.

Just as the thought crossed his mind, his pet wolf, cleverly named Wulf, looked up from the coiled position at Rok's feet. A low growl escaped from the wolf and Rok had already become aware of a presence. To him it smelled like a creature and sounded like a heavy one from the weight of branches being crushed with ease. Wulf leapt up to an attack position, just as Rok had, grabbing his axes, however not being able to put on his armor in time before he saw two golden eyes appear from the brush. Wulf's growling was much more prominent, and Rok was finally able to see past the fire... A bear stood just above Rok's own height. Rok's muscular, grey body apparent from the flames, he felt at a huge disadvantage. The bear was level 39, which was higher than he was, and without half of his armor, Rok was not prepared. Unfortunately, he didn't have much of a choice when the bear outstretched a large paw and attempted a swipe from across the fire, seeming to have been confident in its perception. Rok has finally noticed after only taking a step back, this bear had a large scar over its left eye. "Well that's convenient." The bear began to charge around the fire and towards the half-orc and his battle companion. Rok and Wulf split up once the bear was within 10 feet, Rok taking the right side and Wulf the left. There was no way Rok would willingly let a bear chase his Wulf, that was begging for the loss of a dear friend of his. The bear managed to swipe at Rok's legs, but was cut short from its attempted closeline, when it was attacked from behind, the teeth of Wulf sinking into its neck. Rok took the instant of confusion from the beast being taken advantage of, and swung his axes down onto the back of the bear, almost in a repeated drumming fashion, ending it's short life. Rok took a deep breath and chuckled to himself, "That's called luck, my dear Wulf. Luck indeed. Good boy. Good boy." Rok put his armor on and packed up his camp, it was time for him to return to Susukino, too close of a call for his liking. The armored half-orc propped the bear onto his shoulders and set out for Susukino.

Shineko watched as the different members came towards the entrance to the Depths of Palm. As soon as he recognized Alistar on his griffon he began moving from his perch down the mountain so he could greet them without surprise. "Hello everyone. Alistair, what information and details can you give me about the situation in Susukino? Do you have direct contact with the person we are retrieving or contact with someone who does have contact with our target for rescue?" Shineko wasn't good with people but didn't like the sound of the brief message he had been left. He also wasn't accustomed to working with others really, but he knew Alistar well enough to know that if he was asking for his help, then he suspected things would be bad.

Bacchus' statement made Alistair smirk, though having begun their journey together, Bacchus would realize that he was alongside no ordinary team members. Katsu and Alistair, despite having awkward situations together were a deadly pair. Alistair had enough confidence to ensure his party's safety. "There is no reason to turn away. Not in the face of such opression that Susukino is bringing forth." When Shineko came around from his perch, he cleared his throat, he was going to talk for a bit.

"Hello, Shineko. It's good to see you again despite such circumstances. As for Susukino I'll get down to it.. I am in contact with the Guild Leader, who has direct contact to the adventurer in danger. From what I know, the adventurer is safe with a higher leveled adventurer in Susukino. As for Susukino, the situation is rather horrendous. Low leveled adventurers being sold off like slaves, same with People of the Land. Someone has become a dictator of Susukino, having controlled every part of it through violent acts and shady business. No one is allowed out, anyone that tries is stripped of their gear, and attacked mercilessly until they are returned to the Church. As for people coming in..They don't much mind. Until you've realized what you've walked into. I have no information on who this dictator is except his class. A Samurai."

Shineko listened to the little information we had on the real source of the problem and began thinking about the problem and ways he can approach the subject. "Alistair, first I would say we need more information if we can get it. With that, I have a few questions for you. Do you believe that the high level person protecting our target is completely trust worthy? If so, do you think it is possible that we could get more info on this individual and arrange a meeting with him or her in the evening/night time?" Shineko could move in the darkness or times when there were more shadows a lot more freely than most. He knew he could use this to his advantage to get more information so a strong plan could be formulated. "I don't mean to overstep my bounds with this group with my questions or suggestions, honestly I am not used to working much with others. If you would prefer to stick to just getting the main target out of the city, I would understand. However, I do not believe I can leave this city in the hands of a tyrant who would sell both adventurers and the People of the Land. So, I pose this to all who stand here now, Will you help free this whole city from this tyranny or do you wish to only free the person you came for? I will not judge you either way, but I need to know to what extent you will pursue things here so I can focus my efforts to that end. Not that it should have any bearing on your own decision, but I plan to see this town freed if things are as they have been reported here. If that means first rescuing this person and seeing some of you off to escort him or her back safely, I will understand."

Alistair listened intently on Shineko's words. "In the state that Susukino is in, I find it odd if some high level player was protecting a low level player, when they could just sell them off for a price to that dictator to use. My judgement is that they are friend to us. I think an arrangement can be made as we near the end of the Depths. But I'd have to contact the Guild to give me the rest of the information. As for Susukino in general. I cannot stand idle as that Dictator makes it a living hell for all. I will stand at your side Shineko, to stop them. No matter the cost. I'm sure we can pull strings and end that dictatorship within a day of our arrival to Susukino..." Alistair grew a rather vicious, crooked grin. "They don't call me the Reaper Enchanter for nothing..."

Angered he may be about this dictator, Alistair had to give them credit. They did something that Alistair himself would have thought impossible. Even then, would Alistair have done the same thing if Akihabara had grown too difficult to help save? Are they all really considered "good"? Or do the Adventurer's stay on a grey path, where right and wrong are just two different sides of the same spectrum that has no meaning..

Bacchus let one loud and resounding clap break the tension in Alistair's mind. "Well I suggest we get a move on. We don't have the rest of our lives in this damn video game! Hah!" Bacchus felt as though he made a funny, but it could be seen as a dark joke. A smirk stretched across his face as he ran his fingers through his hair, messing it up even more. He suddenly took one more swig of his legendary sake and put his hand up like he had one more thing to say. "Oh. And one more thing.-" Bacchus threw his body into a cyclone, kicking to his side when he was parallel to the large doors in front of him, creating a sound that none could recreate, the dungeon doors opening. "Well I guess I'll see ya inside the doors in with the rats n dungeon" Bacchus slurred as he stumbled into the darkness.

Shineko watched as Bacchus entered the dungeon and looked at Alistair, "Don't worry, while I can't use all my tricks to their fullest in this situation, I have no intention of letting things stay as they are. And no need to have a dark and serious look on your face when you drift on thinking of possibilities." Shineko turned towards the dungeon as if to walk beside Alistair and began speaking in a lower tone. "If the person guarding the person we are here for is an ally, it would be very helpful. I can slip into the city quickly and unnoticed, especially once it starts getting dark. I could meet with them and possibly gain some knowledge to help us locate this dictator as well as a little more about him and what we will be facing."

Vanessa
A playful smirk appeared on Vanessa's lips as she walked away from Gyoken's mansion. "Money is fine and good," she thought. "But what I really want is blood." Not enough to kill anyone mind you, just enough to act like the Vampanella she is. As she searched the town for clues concerning the low-leveled animal trainer's location, she began to brew a scheme that would get her what she wanted. Hopefully the animal trainer or his protector would play along.

Cleopatra and Jeeves
As they party readied to enter the Depths of Palm, Cleopatra and Jeeves watched and listened to the group's interaction with a determined looks on their faces. Ideally they'd like to save all of the innocent in Susukino. The duo stepped foot into the Depths of Palm and waited for the rest of the group before pressing on further. Cleopatra wanted to stay close to Alistair so that she could hear the man's plan of attack. They were going to need a plan of some sort if they were going to save the city.

Alistair

Alistair's concentration broke, mainly because of Bacchus, and second because of Shineko. "I can trust the caretaker, if they hadn't sold the player out by now, there shouldn't be any reason for them to do so while we're coming. I'll make sure to speak to the guild master for more information..Especially on the location of where they are hiding currently. And maybe some more information about the dictator." Alistair's eyes grew hardened, a pronounced frown upon his face as he began walking with the team.

"First plan of action is to scout all across Susukino. I want to know everything that has changed there, castles, towns, inns, what level players are taking control of what and where. Second, I want to know what times the dictator's minions run on, when they go to the inn, when they guard the gates of the city. Even when they take low level players and people of the land and torture them wherever. After that, I want as much information as possible on that dictator. That information can only be gathered inside the city. For that we need a passageway into the city without being noticed. Once we get all that information, we'll set ourselves up somewhere inside the city, and plan our attack. BUT I want that player safe and sound first." Alistair spoke out his plans, determination etched into his face, as well as with the way he walked. His mind was running 100 miles a second, figuring out plans, possible outcomes and solutions to each problem they could face. He was working like a beast within the mind.

Sayogoromo Seikatsu
Class: Kannagi Lvl 90
So much had happened over the past few months and there seemed to be no stopping the adventurers who had been stranded in this new world. They marched ever forward and with progress comfortably positioned upon their shoulders, this world changed so quickly. The Round Table Council, Susukino’s Dictator, they were signs that this world could be controlled. Guilds controlled, Akihabara so it was nearly impossible to make any type of change there as it would take too much time and effort. But a singular entity sat upon, Susukino’s throne and it was for that reason that, Sayogoromo came to the northern city.

For days now he had been trying to meet with the man in charge, but something always came up to keep him from his goal. Plus, the city wasn’t exactly a safe place, even for someone like him. Days of failed attempts had pushed him to his limits however and desperate times called for desperate measures. If he waited too long, this could all come crumbling down. Without a second thought, Sayogoromo emerged from the inn he’d been staying at. However, he wasn’t himself when he stepped out into the snow covered streets. Instead, he wore the face of a young woman, a Person of The Land. Last time he went out, it was as an elderly man and the time before that, he was a blind woman. A new disguise everyday allowed him to remain undetected, which ensured no one followed him and no one knew him. Today, he was a merchant woman. Dressed in a dark brown cloak that was made from a fine cloth. It allowed him to conceal the kimono underneath. His disguise had auburn hair and freckles, complemented by a pair of green eyes.

With her hood up, the merchant woman slithered through the alleyways of, Susukino. The disguise was good, but it was always better to avoid unnecessary trouble. With her hood up, her face was concealed and people easily overlooked her as an unfortunate, NPC. Quietly, Sayogoromo made his way to the throne of the city, where it’s dictator could be found. Just outside of the entrance, he had to stop in order to bribe, Gyoken’s guards with some adult entertainment if they let him in. Although he didn’t plan and couldn’t make good on the promise, he it did work. Months in this new world didn’t rob the people of their desires. Once they were gone, Sayogoromo headed inside and made sure to lock the doors behind himself.

From there, he followed the chatter and noise through the home. He came to a doorway and glanced through it to see the fearsome leader on his balcony. Whoever he had been talking to, was gone now. “Many people are in awe at what you’ve achieved here.” The feminine voice entered the room just before the cloaked figure pushed the door open and stepped inside. “I’m impressed by your accomplishments as well, but more so...by what stands before me.” Her smile illuminated her face as, Sayogoromo removed the hood. Strands of auburn hair rolled out around the woman’s face. “I’d like to help you achieve...more.” With his eyes focused on, Gyoken, Sayogoromo curtsied to the brave and triumphant adventurer.

Gyoken, Dictator of Susukino.

After having talked with Vanessa and gaining her services to find the damned adventurer who stole his property, a new voice soon broke the silence in his room. Turning to meet the woman with the auburn hair. He took no interest in the filthy low-lives that lived among him. Taking up his sword he examined the creature before him, whether she was an adventurer, or a person of the land down on their luck, didn't matter to him. Slowly placing the sheathed katana, masterly crafted by his own hands over his shoulder, the woman spoke of making his progress extend past its boundaries. He would not believe that so easily, but what annoyed him was that this creature had the audacity to walk in on him. His bodyguards, or more, monkeys in armor were easily persuaded it seemed..

"What business do you have with me, woman? Husband has been tortured too much and now you come to beg to me?" Gyoken changed the subject, feeling it best to figure this person out first before he makes any moves. "Whatever my men do is of no concern to me, the lack of honor and strength show that much, or I would hold them at a higher regard." Indeed, that was how Gyoken felt with all, anyone who had no honor, respect, strength, or even power over something was nothing more than an insect to his eyes. Though after arriving in the new world, his beliefs had becomed warped, his samurai-bound tenents had become blind to him..And as such, he had lost his way as a man of true honor and duty. Becoming a monster who favored control and power..

Though he would not know of Alistair's arrival with his team until a day or so later, they both stood at different sides of one another. Alistair was a man who did not want power nor control, but would seize it when needed, and steer the populace in the right direction. Much like he was trying to do with Akihabara, and once done with his work would retreat back into a sort of reclusive state until needed once more. For Gyoken, power and control was attainable and MUST be sustained, as he does not see anyone capable of steering the world in the right direction..

“Marriage?” The woman slowly Rosen back up and stared across the room at the warrior. Her eyes examined his form, the weapon he carried, the equipment he used. “I have but one love and it isn’t not a physical being.” Sayogoromo turned away from, Gyoken and set his eyes on the decorations around the room. Back when this was a game, no one feared for their life and it wasn’t possible to kill another player so freely. Those changes made it difficult to manipulate some people as even the weakest adventurer now thought mainly of surviving and nothing else.

“I have traveled far to be here and to offer you my services. I am a firm believer in taking what you want, no matter how it effects others.” She wandered over to one of the empty seats in the room then threw down her cloak. Doing so revealed the peach colored susohiki kimono underneath. Large lotus flowers dotted the sleeves and lower-half of the garment. “You have the strength and the skill, but you need capable and trustworthy partners. Your guild let me through the front door and I made my way to you. You’re going to need better than that if you plan to ever control more than this little city.” In a last minute decision, Sayogoromo allowed his fox tail ears and tails to emerge. A sign that he was more than a simple, NPC. “You’re also struggling to find someone. Allow me to assist you.” She gazed across the room to where, Gyoken stood, and smiled at his with a soft grin.

Alistair
After having already spoken his desired plans upon arriving to Susukino, the team had descended into the Depths of the Palm, all the while acquiring new knowledge of the dungeon itself. enemies reacted differently, more live-like than their game counterparts. They had a certain intelligence to themselves depending on what certain enemy it was. Alistair took note of this while he had set up camp with the group. Alistair wasn't worried about Reynald, as he was sure that Reynald would be making his way to Susukino on his own time. He'd be glad to see a very old friend again. They went back the two of them, and had worked together most, if not all the time in Elder Tale. Alistair made the rounds, checking up on Cleo and Jeeves, Katsu, Bacchus, and Shineko. Then when finished, he sat near a ledge, pondering on Susukino and its situations. The silence was broken when he acquired a call from the GM.

"We've finally acquired new information, the dictator seems to be Gyoken. A well-known Samurai blacksmith player that helped out many low level players in Akihabara when Elder Tale got popular, his main ideals were all revolving around the Bushido ways of Samurai. Though it seems from this new update his whole personality has changed. He's become nearly deranged. He acquired power in Susukino by stabbing the backs of his former alliances. Gyoken plays dirty, and ruthlessly. Azrael is safe, and is awaiting your arrival with a summoner lvl. 90, named Mairi. She's the one taking care of Azrael."

Alistair paused for a moment upon hearing this, then asked. "How did you acquire this information.."

The Guild Master hesitated, then sighed. "Our previous rescue party was captured by Gyoken personally.. One of the last members who was able to hide for only 5 hours more than his team gave us the information on Gyoken. This was weeks before we asked your help. Gyoken took them to the cathedral so that they wouldn't end up returning to Akihabara.. So that he could torture them as he pleased. We can't ask you to help save more than you already asked for.."

"We will free them." Alistair said, determined.

"What?? How?"

Alistair spoke, calm and collected. "We are planning to free Susukino, plans have already been made and will be put into action as we get there. We will first acquire Azrael, then...Within the night of our arrival, the dictatorship of Susukino will fall. I assure you that. Anything else I need to know?"

The GM spoke this one last detail, one that haunted Alistair, but intrigued him.. "Gyoken has acquired a new power, one unseen by any other Adventurer before, his sword..It seems to have its own enchantment. It can create flames on its own without any buffs from a Mage class user. The last of our rescue team told us this as his Tank was fighting him, Gyoken had unsheathed his sword and flames consumed the battlefield.. We don't know how it was done."

Alistair thought, before coming to a certain answer. A new skill. A hidden one. "His subclass, it is blacksmith.. Perhaps he crafted a sword with magical imbument.." Alistair ended the call abruptly, much like he usually does. And continued to ponder this new information alone.. The world of Elder Tale truly has changed.

Shineko wasn't used to travelling or working with larger groups of people, at most 1 or 2 others when absolutely necessary and felt uneasy around so many unfamiliar faces and so chose to set up his place to rest a little out of the way but where he could keep an eye on everything. While he didn't have much knowledge or experience with anyone here, he felt he could trust Alistair. He was also glad that Alistair didn't seem to want to abandon the others in Susukino and just rescue the main target. This belied a sense of honor and duty to do what is right. Maybe he could become someone worth knowing longer.

Shineko had mostly gotten everything set up and finished eating when Alistair made his way to check on him. Again, there is his actions showing that he is trying to make sure everyone is okay. Soon after Alistair left him, Shineko become lost in thought trying to remember what he could about the area from when everything was a game and comparing it to what he was seeing now hoping to get an idea of what other differences he might could expect once arriving at Susukino. After pondering over these changes and making his mental notes on that, he changed the topic of his thoughts and pulled out a notebook from his belongings. This is where he had been working through his own theory about the runes used for giving magical boosts. Now that this world was real, it allowed him to explore it more as a language than just random symbols and he was trying to decipher the components to see if it could be expanded and built upon. He had made some progress with this but it still wasn't complete. He couldn't shake the feeling that this was important.

Alistair
Alistair continued to ponder on this new information, if Gyoken was able to do something of this magnitude with his sub-class..What could possibly be done with Alistair's own Scribe class? And, from extension...All sub-classes every Adventurer has..They could very well change the whole way the game is thought of. He would make sure to address this to the team, and see what they would think on this matter. He believed this "Secret" was more or less the necessary final hit to acquire the governing power that the Round Table Alliance needs for its laws to be taken seriously. Standing up, Alistair thought it best to finally speak to his team about the plan he had in mind. Whether it was the best plan or not, would be up to the vote of his peers.
He scratched his chin, adjusted his glasses some and made his way back to the team, not too far away from them in the first place though. He was just around the corner actually, behind a rather large boulder..Seemingly a piece of the dungeons interior that had fallen, so it seemed that even the world around them could age? He found that true to detail for the developers, and made a soft smirk to himself about that.

Gyoken, Dictator of Susukino

The mindless drivel this insect spoke to him annoyed him, he cared not about the travels that this person spoke of. Though he would not deny that his guild is full of mindless fools. That made him smirk, and then laugh out loud. "I like you, at least only a little. But I don't need my guild for anything, if they let you in they were the fools to do so. They'll be punished sooner or later. I take, and I hold power, alone. I need no allies, and I don't need a imposter to lick at my heels either. This little city is the beginning, soon enough I will acquire all of Yamoto, and then the world itself of Elder Tale. BY myself" He narrowed his eyes at the fox tail creature. "If you so wish to be a member of my guild, I'll hear your peace, pick you a cabin and then you stay the hell out of my way." He moved past the fox tail, and sat on one of his extravagant seats. Within his mind he spoke to himself. "I know a snake when I see one..You won't get the better of me." He then looked at the adventurer. "Sit, and lets begin, I don't like wasting my time with new recruits."

Sayogoromo

Sayogoromo smirked and he closed his eyes while he listened too the dictator speak. When the other man started to move, his ears twitched and his head slowly turned to follow, Gyoken. “Don’t be ridiculous, I have no interest in joining your guild or serving as some small pawn.” Her kimono dragged behind her as she turned around to face, Gyoken in his new location. The diguise’s long, red hair bounced with the steps that, Sayogoromo took a small he moved to sit in one of the empty seats. He made himself comfortablele and crossed the right leg over the left.

“Perhaps you’re not aware, but there isn’t an alliance of faith guilds in, Akihabara. They plan to do good in this world, which means someone like you, will be their target sooner or later. No matter how much land you take, incompetent guild members and a lack of allies, will be your downfall.” The woman’s green eyes swept across the room to stare at, Gyoken without fear or hesitation. ”There isn’t anything that I want from you, nothing. But I want to assist you because without help, you will struggle against that alliance. Allow me to be your partner and watch your back and your protect interests.” Sayogoromo leaned back against the seat.

FAKE.png
It all started rather simply. With the secret of food that didn't taste like wet crackers being shared and a centralized government of sorts being implemented, [FAKE] knew that she had a chance to really turn Akihabara on it's ear. Of course, what she had planned could be considered foolhardy, she could also be denounced as a fraud. And with her years of playing MMOs, that would mean that any trust she had or will garner would fall to the wayside. For a Fixer, trust was important... but so was what she wanted to share.

Still... maybe if she framed things in a certain way...

Rubbing her palms together, [FAKE] set her plan in motion. All she needed was a little setup...

***In Front Of The Akihabara Guild House***
The next morning, Landers and Adventurers alike would find what appeared to be a thick newspaper as close to the modern style as one could make, resting on doorsteps and merchant stands. There were sections for Local News, Global News, a gossip column... even an area for advertising that was mostly blank, save for an advertisement for Merchants and Crafters wanting to advertise to see [FAKE] of Market Share, as well as asking for folks willing to make their own columns to talk to [FAKE] as well. Across the top of the front page was the title [Theldesia World News].

Not every adventurer or Lander had a place for a paper, so only a few would see the paper upon waking... which was why, in front of the Guild House, [FAKE] set up a small news stand, [Theldesia World News] painted along the top in bold letters, with [FAKE] herself standing in front of it with a stack of papers at her side. [FAKE]'s voice called out to the crowd just as folks were starting their day, in her hands a cash shop item she had received from a friend in Korea, a megaphone that allowed one to shout into Global Chat. In the world of Theldesia? It acted just like a megaphone would. "EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT! Step right up and get yourself a newspaper folks! For the simple fee of 3 gold, you can have news from all over the world! Read about the fall of the Big Apple! See the plight of all those poor newbies on the Island of Beginnings! Hear about the the ongoing wars in England! This news is guaranteed! If you find a single flaw, you get your money back and your name in the paper! So step right up and learn what's happening! Have suggestions? Want to spread your name? Then let me know and I'll add whatever you suggest if it's viable! Every single one of these papers is backed by the guild Market Share and it's guild leader, [FAKE]! Remember, if it's not high quality, it's not a genuine [FAKE]!"

And so she would stand, barking at anyone who passes to purchase a newspaper. For what she had, the price point was low, but this was both an experiment and a service. After all, there would be a time where Akihabara and the rest of Japan would need to reach out to the rest of the world... and if this flew, she would have something to share with the rest of her Guild all too soon.

Katsu
«The Psycho Alchemist»
During the meal with everybody, Katsu showed uncharacteristic reclusive behavior, taking up one of the far corners of the camp not occupied by Shineko. She was a bit upbeat when Alistair checked on her, but that quickly faded away when he left. After a few minutes of him being gone to take a telepathy call, she got up and walked towards him.

"Hey~" Contrary to how she seemed around everyone when Alistair checked on her at the meal, Katsu seemed pretty energetic when she peeked around the boulder at Alistair. She took a quick look at his face, saw his smirk, and gave a grin of her own as she walked up to him. "Plotting something again? My, with this group, there's no point in plans you tryhard. You just need to point at something and it will fall, without question." She walked to be beside him, so that she wouldn't block his way any longer. "I still don't like that you invited others when it could have been just us. But, I'm interested to hear the ideas you have to squash what's going on in Susukino. And, what comes after that with this group, I wonder."

Alistair

While appreciating the beauty of the realistic game-world, Katsu had strolled on over to Alistair. He blinked upon hearing her speak to him, taking a second to gather what Katsu had said, and smiled at her. "Oh I am well aware we would've been able to do this easy peazy, but I cannot help but feel some Adventurers' don't have the sense of comraderie or high hopes like they used to when this was but a simple MMO... Plus, The Round Table Alliance still has no ability to govern Akihabara because of the Adventurer's going wild, or losing that sense of balance in the world. I've come up with a plan; but I can only act on it after we get back. It will be an assured way of acquiring the necessary power for the Alliance. Letting them come with us will show other adventurers that its possible to create balance again..Come with, I'm going to tell everyone the plans." Alistair stretched a bit, and returned to the group. He was ready to tell them of his plans for Susukino, he had about 3 that he felt were worthy of speaking about, and not only this...The new skill found by the informants.

Gyoken

The Samurai laughed, smacking his sword to the floor a bit at the tip. "That Round Table? The one that can't even get the people of Akihabara to follow their own laws? Pray tell me how THEY will become a problem. They're just a couple of guilds trying to amass power together rather than alone. And look at where its got them!" His laugh soon turned into a chuckle, soon enough stopping fully. "You do strike a good point though, the possibility of usurpers are existent. Perhaps...I will take your offer into consideration." His eyes grew nearly deranged, a dark frown on his face. "BUT don't you dare get in my way, nor try and sway me from my decisions when I know they are final. Got it?" He stood up, checking the time, then grinned. "Time for me to go interrogate a couple of troublemakers..I bet they were searching for that little brat.." Gyoken picked up his sword, relaxing it over his shoulder and started moving for the door, opening it for Sayogoromo. "Time for you to leave now, my little whisperer."

Sayogoromo
The woman’ss eyes narrowed as the dictator laughed at the warning, Sayogoromo tried to pass along. It showed how arrogant, Gyoken was. However, the samurai proved smart enough to accept the fox tail’s assistance. “I have no desire to slow you down, Lord Gyoken.” Slowly, Sayogoromo’s tails and ears faded away until the disguise he wore was perfect once again. The woman appeared to be a, Person of The Land in every way. With a deep breath, she rose from the couch and smoothed put the wrinkles in her kimono.

“My goal is to see you succeed. For now, I will search for you missing person.” Sayogoromo maneuvered around the furniture and made his way towards the door. On his way, she grabbed the cloak that she had worn upon arrival and wrapped it back around herself. “I hope you gain some useful information from your prisoners.” The woman walked by, Gyoken and lowered her head as she exited the room and then, the building.

Susukino, a poor place to be holed up and living by choice. Rok was paying very close attention to his surroundings, he had to, he was fully aware of the situation in Susukino, and he had a very condescending view on anyone and everyone involved. Children. That's what they are. Instead of abusing people, we should be trying to get back home. This isn't adapting. This is children being selfish because their number is bigger than anothers, or they know more people without lives like themselves... Rok sighed with disappointment. He was stuck in this world and he had adapted fairly quickly, yes, but it didn't mean he wanted to stay there. The Half-Orc's senses were much stronger than humans, he could feel an almost overwhelming physical strength in him, he got very angry, very easily, and although it's just a character, he could feel the Half-Orc becoming him and vice-versa.
Lost in his thought, he had approached the gates of Susukino, bear on his back, Wulf at his side. He simply walked through the gates, knowing that some of the mid to high level players slightly feared him. They had simply never been aware of the Viking class or the Half-Orc subclass and they weren't completely sure what he could do, however, Rok looked intimidating, and as a racial passive, he had the Aura of Bloodlust, simply just giving him an intimidating presence. Oh and the fact that he took down a level 50 Samurai by himself, stopping just before he killed the character. That was a story that circulated throughout Susukino, in Rok's favor. He had no interest in what was going on besides himself, training, and Wulf. As long as people didn't bother him, he wouldn't stick his nose in their business.
Rok found himself at the nearest low to mid level merchant, a tiny Dwarf, trembling in the presence of a large monstrous beast... And a dire wolf more than half of his size. Rok gave a forced smile and sold the boar hides, boar, wolf, and bear pelts, and much more. He was trying to improve his armor and maybe even find a blacksmith who could give him some better weapons. He already stood out in crowds, so he wanted some large weapons- larger than his current weapons- that made level 90s cower before him! .... Yea he knew he just needed to have the number by his player name be higher, because that's how these children saw power and authority in this world, so Rok was training.
