Akihabara, over the past month Adventurers have learned to call this place home. Home to many guilds such as the battle guilds FoxHowl and The Order Of Requiem and the production guild World Trading Company, among others. The inhabitants are completely unaware of the trouble brewing in Susukino. The Les Legion guild is leading the Adventurers down a dark path against the People of the Land. If your a Lander, Susukino is a living hell; you'd get no respect and are treated like dirt.

Howlden & Kitsumae

The Wolf Fang, Fox Tail couple Howlden and Kitsumae walked down the streets of Akihabara. Taking in the sights the two of them noticed some of the progress the city had made over the past month. Small eateries and marketplace stalls prominently stood in the center of town. Howlden sniffed the air and grinned after the aroma of fresh food reached his nostrils.

"It all smells wonderful, wouldn't you agree my dear?" Howlden asked his wife. "Yes, my lord. Everything smells delicious, I don't know what to sample first," she replied. "How about something familiar to start with?" Howlden asked with a playful smile. He grabbed Kitsumae by the hand and ran up to a rice ball stand. After ordering two meals, the couple walked over to an empty bench and sat down. Kitsumae dug into her meal immediately after sitting down; Howlden stared at her with a warm smile. "Something wrong my lord?" "No, I'm just glad that the two of us are stuck here together."

Chrollo

A man dressed like a catholic priest, Chrollo of the World Trading Company , rides in a simple horse drawn carriage. As the horses pulls the carriage down the road toward Susukino, Chrollo checks on the ice boxes filled with drinks in the back. They are cold to the touch, but he had to go though a long process to keep them that way. "What a pain...I should tell the guild to research how to build a refrigerator truck...," he thought, before replaying events that lead up to this moment.

Flashback: Chrollo heads out of the World Trading Company guild hall with a case of beer in his hands, he stops when he sees the Guild Master "Master Ren, Susukino requested a shipment of whiskey and the like. Looks like their brewers haven't mastered the art yet like I have. I'll see to the delivery personally. I'll contact you when I'm on my way back." He walks outside and loads up a simple carriage with the help of his guild members.

Back in the present: "At least I won't have to keep the chests cold much longer..."

Rindouko

Rindouko along with his guild was finally heading back to Akihabara with the extinction of one who wanted to explore more, which Rindouko allowed it would do her good and maybe even gain her some levels but of cause he didn't just let her go anywhere he wanted her to see the state of Susukino after all he always like that fortress against the giants it was a fun place to gain levels when he was a lower level.

After traveling a little father they arrived back at Akihabara he distributed the money earned as he normally did since he didn't really need much money normally one of the members of the guild would feed him and if not he could go and kill some more things for it. "Right lads since we've been out their for a month you lot have a weeks break enjoy." Rindouko said but knowing his guild they would want something to do by tomorrow their not the type of people to sit and look at the flowers or waist away the hours watching the sun.

Rindouko took a look around Akihabara they were food stands here and there every since the food thing came about that he had already heard and tried for himself, after all a guild of seven hundred has ten or twenty chefs in it who already heard about the way to cook food in the 'game' from friends.

Rindouko headed to the guild hall building before entering it and to his guild headquarters he was slightly worried about the solo person he sent as a scout if she ran into player killers she would have no good way to fight back especially if they are high level. "Dam it I should have sent an escort with her or went myself with her well its too late now" Rindouko said talking to himself before taking a seat on his chair in the middle of the guild hall.

Chiyoko

"Come on boss please I never really got a chance to have a look around before and I want to see what this world has to offer." Chiyoko begged she wanted to just wonder around to the other big towns like Akihabara and to see what they are like since when this still was a game she was too busy doing other things to just look around. The boss nodded his head and a smirk appeared over Chiyoko face she already knew the answer just from knowing her boss. "You want to look around hmm.... Sure its not like it can hurt just be back some time in the next week oh and just make sure to check Susukino I really like that city." Rindouko said as Chiyoko jumped for joy before setting off to.

-some time later-

Chiyoko was happily walking to Susukino after the boss allowed her to adventure for a while as long as she checked Susukino. That's one of the many reason she was glad she decided to join The Order of Requiem the boss was the type of person to let the members do what they wanted within reason and with her always wanting to check out what changed here and their or just to see what here and there it always helped.

Mairi wandered aimlessly around Akihabara. There was nothing she had to do at the moment and was just enjoying the weather. The weather was sunny, the air was cool, and it all-around felt better than any weather she remembered feeling in real life. As she walked, she noticed her guild master sitting on a bench while enjoying food with his wife. While she liked seeing those two together, her mischievous side kicked in and wanted to see how embarrassed she could make her guild master. She then had an idea; an awful idea. She had a wonderful, awful idea.

Mairi navigated a building next to the bench the two were sitting at and arrived at the roof. She looked down from the roof. They were right under her. She then summoned a simple slime. Some people put accessories on their slime summons to make them more presentable. Mairi didn't really mind the slime's default appearance.

After giving the command, the slime inched towards the edge of the roof and jumped down, landing directly on top of Howlden. The slime splattered around a bit from the impact, but the nucleus was still on Howlden. Mairi then fell backwards as if expecting someone right behind her to catch her. Before she hit the floor of the roof, she used <Castling>, which allowed her to switch places with her summon. The result of Mairi's maneuver was her resting in Howlden's lap and the area spotted with slime. "Hello, master~" she said smoothly as she rested her arm behind Howlden's neck.

-----

Ankezekuto was resting quite a ways outside the boundaries of the city of Akiba. The main road was within sight, so she was watching to see who went by. Kuto didn't participate in her guild's latest mission because she just wanted some time off, which didn't go against the guild's top three commandments. Still, she could've told someone. ...nah, it didn't matter anyway.

After resting for a while, Kuto saw Chiyoko walk down the path by her. It struck Kuto as odd since she was out here alone. Didn't the guildmaster know that there could be PKers out here? Kuto wanted to know what Chiyoko was doing so she leaped down from the tree and into the main path right behind Chiyoko. "What're you doin' all the way out 'ere?" she said in a fake accent as if to mimic a stereotypical "tough guy" (or at least how others she watched mimicked them).

Katsu usally avoided the big citys since they were full with other adventurers and after only living in japan for two weeks before the apocalypse he still wasnt very comfortable being around other adventurers, he could speak with them thanks to the auto translation system but the culture different cause some awkward encounters so he usally stayed in villages where not so many adventurers were staying. But lately Katsu began training agian fighting high lv monsters and doing high lv quest trying to reach the new max lv that the expansion introduced, which cuase his gear to wear down. Since he wasnt a blacksmith he had to go to a city and find one who will able to repair his gear, preferably doing so cheaply as possible. Problem was he didnt know where the nearest city was he asked a few villagers and they pointed him north saying he should reach a city called Susukino its about a day off if he is on a horse back, so Katsu summoned his horse and rode north toward Susukino.

Raphtalia

Currently with a party in the forest just outside of Akihabara, Raphtalia was on a repeatable quest in collecting hides of monsters for one of the People of the Land. It was a fairly easy quest in correspondence to her level. The others in her party were was a guardian, bard, and summoner, in which they all had the same levels ranging from 50-55. It seems that they were best friends in the real world, resulting in playing together most of the times. And since it was still too dangerous to leave without a supportive class they had asked her to join their party as she was recommended by an acquaintance of there's, vouching for her skill. After the job had been completed she had separated from the party when they got back to Akihabara, feeling a little bit envious of them as they had each other, whereas she was still alone, unable to find herself a permanent group.

As she got back she had felt her stomach growl by the aroma of food, pushing off her negativity she focused on something more important. What should she eat. At first she was disappointing as the food at first had tasted like sad cardboard. But once the secret of cooking had been revealed she couldn't help herself but try everything in sight. Hopefully since this was a game she wouldn't have to worry of gaining any weight! Further more she was able to taste the taste of authentic Japanese food in which she had missed so much. Going over towards a various stands she had ordered huge amounts of food ranging from red bean bread, to ramen.

Ren

This morning Ren is contacting his guild member that in charge for his shop. They're discussing about number of stock in the shop and what need to be send from Guild Storage to shop before opening it. He walk away to the storage room through Guild hall to check his stock. Still talking with the guild member before he met with Chrollo, he said Susukino is requesting a shipment from his guild. "Well then i'll be waiting for the news" he reply. He proceed to storage room to check the number of his supplies.

After he done with almost everything he leave the rest to his shop manager and take a stroll outside. He just feel that he need to stretch up a bit. Yesterday he doesn't even have a chance to get out from his Guild Room because people always come to talk about business crap but he know that it just a scam. Ren is an expert with the thing like this. He can see people true face behind their smile because he is one like them.

Kiotaro had been in the forest of Susukino, waiting for people who were trying to get into the village. He was going to warn them of the danger of entering the vicinity of the village, and if they still needed to go in, he would help them get passed the player killers, also known as the PKers. He spotted a group of them outside of the village, just about a mile away from the gates and he was keeping an eye on them, making sure they wouldn't be up to trouble. He hid himself in a bush when he heard something rustle the leaves behind him. He quickly looked and saw that it was just a deer. He sighed and decided to set up camp for the night, so he left for a good hike down the road where all of the PKers would not be. He walked until he could see Susukino in the distance and he found a tree to prop himself up on to sleep. He sat down by the trunk and slowly let his eyes close, drifting away.

Ren

Walking alone in the marketplace where there is a lot of people doing activities doesn't bother Ren. In fact he used to live alone in the real world and keep conversation in minimal unless people can interest him. Ren frown, it's been a long time since the plan to buy a part of the land but still he can't afford it. He can buy the land but there is still no money for the construction. He cross his arm while walking on the street. With a lot of thing in his mind he doesn't even look the way where he go. In front of him there was a girl with a lot of foods on her hand, and accidentaly Ren bump to her. Making the food she hold dropped to the ground. "Ah.. I'm sorry" he apologize but he doesnt seems to feel sorry about it.

Kuroyama

Kuroyama is running inside the forest not far from Susukino. He being chased by PKer that aim for his staff. He doesn't know how long he has been running nor the direction he is headed. For now he just want to keep a distance between them. After running aimlessly he tripped and kneel on the ground. He observe his surrounding just to make sure no one is near. He stick close to the tree nearby and hold his staff tightly. He is afraid that they will found him, this staff is the first rare equipment that he get after raiding a dungeon with his friend. He doesnt want to lose it no matter what.

Alone in the winter forrest. The wind blew with gentle breezes but he can feel the cold through the bone. He curl his body to heat up a bit and lay down on the ground. He forget to bring camping kit from the town and now he is freezing outside. He just hope the PKer will give up searching him so he can make his way to the town.

Howlden & Kitsumae

Howlden was surprised by Mairi's mischievous antics. Luckily he had managed to finish up his rice ball before the slime fell on him. He pushed away her arm from around his neck and stood up. "You're lucky I'm not the easily angered type," he said with a hand on his hip. He glanced over at Kitsumae. She stifled a laugh as she pulled a cloth out of her magic bag and handed it to him. As he wiped the slime splatter off of his armor, he heard his wife say in a humorous tone, "Anger doesn't suit you, my lord." "No, it doesn't," he added with a smirk. He turned his attention back to Mairi. "Did something happen at the guild hall or where you just looking for entertainment?" he asked.

Chrollo

Chrollo let out a sigh out of boredom. Next time he goes out on a long delivery he plans to bring a guild mate along. He began to watch the scenery, maybe thinking about the plants or the sky will help him pass the time. As he rode down the path, Chrollo noticed a man dressed like a monk sleeping under a tree. From his distance, he couldn't tell if the monk was alive or dead.

Chrollo stopped the carriage and walked up to Kiotaro. "This may be a trap..." he thought, but no one jumped out at him. Once a couple feet away from Kiotaro, Chrollo tapped the man with his Healer's Cain. "This is going to be a pain if this monk is a PKer..."

Kiotaro's eyes widened immediately and he gasped for air, jumping up into a fighting stance and saying, "Who are you? Leave me be, I just want to help people get to the town from monsters, I swear. I have no valuables that are good enough for you." He lied about the valuables part but he didn't want the PKer to know that. He took a longer look at this man and noticed he had a carriage behind him, he slowly brought his hands down only to bring them up again. This may be a trap. I will have to run for it if there are more PKers in that carriage. He thought to himself. This man didn't look like a PKer to him but he had to be ready for anything.

Raphtalia

Happily humming with the bulk of food in her hands she couldn't be any happier than to gorge all of them up any moment now. But since she was too preoccupied thinking about the taste she did not watch out for others on the road. Consequently she had managed to bump into someone, and royally fell down, face flat on the floor, managing to drop everything she had in her arms on them. "Ahh!!" She had let out once she had recovered and discovered that she had dropped everything on them, the worse being the ramen. She soon began to panic. *Ah what do I do?!* When the guy had apologized, she had tried to apologize back. "No, no, there is no need for you to be sorry, it was mainly my fault since I was not paying attention!! In fact I should be the one saying sorry!! I even dropped some on you" She soon began to try to clean off the ramen off the others clothes.

Ren

"It's ok. It's also my fault that im not paying attention" he stop her from cleaning his clothes and pull out a handkerchief from his pocket and began clean the ramen soup that spilled to his clothes. He watch this girl equipment thoroughly and his eyes stopped at her staff. Maybe it just rare item but someone might pay a good price for it if he can buy it from her. "You got a pretty neat equipment you know?" he smile while offering his hand to her to help her up

Raphtalia

"Ah, thank you." Gladly taking his hand Raphtalia got up and brushed off some dirt off her cloak. Once the other had eyed her staff, her initial response was to agree with him " Hmm, you could tell? It took me quite some time to get this to drop~ " Taking another look at him she could tell he was pretty high level, maybe even at the previous level cap. " Yours isn't that bad either. " But just now realizing that he probably didn't just want to compliment her she held her staff defensively, trying to hide it behind her back " Th-This is not for sale ok!! You can't take this as compensation!! " As the last word came out of her mouth she held her hand over it *Oh wait maybe he can, why did I just have to say that!!* She thought mentally punching herself.

Chrollo

"I'm not interested in your valuables," Chrollo said after adjusting his glasses with a finger. "And I'm not the right class to be a PKer. Clerics have little offensive capabilities. It's a pain...but I couldn't kill you even if I tried." He let out a sigh. "Sorry for bothering you, my curiosity got the better of me. Excuse me." Chrollo turned and started to walk back to his carriage. "The Susukino taverns are going to have a fit if I'm late...," he muttered.

Ren

Ren waving his hand in front of him. "Is not that im forcing you to sell it" he keep smiling to her. Hooo... She know what i wanted. Maybe its better to play nice for now He seems like a bit interested to this girl. It's rare someone can see what behind people face and read their true motive and intention. He raise a finger "How about i buy something for you? i believe you spend much for that food". Slowly but sure he try to get close to her. He sure that it will be worthy in the future sooner or later. "By the way my name is Ren" he introduce himself to the girl.

Raphtalia

Seeing that the other did nothing further, but compliment her staff she felt herself relax. *Maybe he's not a bad guy? I'm probably just thinking too much, jumping into some strange conclusions again* With that she had bowed in apology for accusing him of something he didn't or wasn't planning to do. " Ah my apologies for jumping into a strange conclusion, I thought you were one of those who would try to rip me off for it " Hearing that the other will compensate for her instead she became delighted " Really? You would do that?! " She had soon begun to think what could be good. " Anything is fine right? " She asked to see if there was a limit. As he introduced himself she had felt that she had heard his name before *...Don't tell me, if he the guild master of the World Trading Company?* Not really interested in any players and only hearing names she did not really know what they had looked like. But not wanting to be rude she didn't ask any questions, and introduced herself as well, smiling. " I'm Raphtalia, It's nice to meet you, Ren! "

Kiotaro put his hands down and said, "Yes. I guess you're right. I'm sorry." He saw him walking back to his carriage and mention something about a tavern in Susukino. He stopped him, "Hey. If you're going to Susukino you better watch out. A lot of Player Killers hang around there. Would you like some help from me to get passed there and into the town? I won't charge anything." He smiled and walked with him slowly.

Ren

"We need to stop apologizing each other" he chuckle a little. Without hesitation Ren answered to her question "Anything" he smile. After she introduce herself Ren reply to her "Nice to meet you too" he take off his hat and bow to Raphtalia. Maybe it's too formal but he need to make her comfortable. He take her for a walk through the crowded marketplace. "So what do you want?" he ask to her. "I don't mind buying anything you wanted, as long as my pocket can handle it" he add.

Raphtalia

" Ah I'm... " Just about to apologize again she clasped a hand over her mouth to stop herself, causing herself to giggle. " I guess we should " Once Ren had confirmed that she was able to ask for anything, she was deep in thought, there wasn't anything particular she had in mind. But her thought was soon interrupted as Ren had took off his head and bowed, in a hurry she had followed, doing the same thing. Then after the awkwardness of the whole situation, they had begun to walk together. When he had asked what she had wanted again she continued on with the thought from before, thinking, she looked up putting a finger on her chin, wondering. * Hmmm, What do I want? * After listing some things she had come to a conclusion. Clasping both her hands together as she got an idea "Then..." Starting to say her request she pointed at a stand, and winked. " Could you treat me to some ramen? "

Ren

They are walking in the marketplace looking someplace Raphtalia might want to pay a visit and buy something. There are lot of food stand even there are countless of them in the marketplace including a restaurant. Even his shop also include a place to eat for adventurer. But Raphtalia choose to eat ramen. "Ramen?" Ren tilt his head and cross his arm. Wait dont tell me this girl thing im so poor that i cant afford anything other than ramen this is the first time he think he being looked down by someone. "There still a lot of restaurant if you want some food, i also have one. How about we go over there instead?" he point to the direction of his shop.

Raphtalia

" Yes, Ramen. Is there a problem? " Tilting her head, confused she had just answered as he questioned about it. Once Ren had then suggested to go into another restaurant she couldn't help but have her stubborn self surface, pouting. " No it's fine, I feel like eating ramen right now. " Looking at the name of the restaurant he had pointed at she had recognized it. *...Now that I remember, this guy is a cook* Then getting another idea she then said " Then if you have your own, would you make some ramen for me? "

Ren

Ren is quite surprised by her idea. He is a Lvl 90 chef but it's been a long time since the last time he cook by himself. He always order his guild member to to do the job. Doesnt want to lose pride he accept her challenge. "That's a deal then" he try to give her a smile. But this time it's kinda hard to keep his smile. They stop in the front of the shop with a huge scale on the sign and a word WTC under it. They enter through the side door where the restaurant is located.

His guild member is surprised that their master come back with a girl. Ren gesture to one of his member to come to him. "Give this girl the best place, and dont question why" he whispered. "Y-yes sir!" the waiter take Raphtalia to her table while Ren walk toward the kitchen. He took off his hat and cloak then grab the nearest apron. He tied his hair and begin to wash his hand on the sink. Such a troublesome girl he think. The chef in the restaurant is confused seeing Ren in the kitchen as this is the first time they see him inside.

Raphtalia

"Fufu, I can't wait to taste it" Raphtalia commented as the chef had agreed. She had wondered what a dish from a Lvl 90 chef would taste like. Saliva consistently building up in her mouth she tried hard to keep her gulps at a minimum. As they had entered his restuarant with the sign WTC under it she couldn't help but have high expectations for this meal.

She couldn't help but smile widely as she had been lead to the best seat in the restaurant, as instructed by him, and spent her time looking at the interior of the place, finding it quite lovely. Anxiously waiting she called the waiter from before for a glass of water.

Katsu could already see the city, he was traveling on a side road that only joins the main road about 500m away from the city. The road was surrounded by a big forest, the forest was close to a big city so Katsu reckoned the forest would be filled by low to mid lv monsters. As he rode he thought he heared shouting but wasnt too sure so he kept going, after a few seconds he heared it agian this time he could clearly hear it and tell what they where saying "Where did he ran off to, find him now!" followed by two quick "Yes sir." Katsu quickly desummoned his horse and moved towards the shouting as quietly as he could, he saw three players spliting up all going to different directions. Katsu figured they most be PK players and are searching for some one who ran off, he manged to see thier gear and weapons for just a second but he recognized most of thier gear as common high lv gear that you get from doing the main story quests.

Katsu didnt like PKers even when it was a game if you want to pvp you should just duel or do guild wars not pk some one who is a lower lv or just isnt ready to fight, he never understood really the point of PK you dont prove you are better and people will just hate you for it. Nonetheless they were three PKers and by the looks of it they were after someone. Katsu figured he could take them two on one but he wasnt sure about three on one, luckily for him they are split so he could easily take them one by one. Katsu chose to follow the one who gave the order thinking he must be the leader of the group, after a few seconds of runing towards where he saw the leader go to he found him. The leader was walking slowly looking at every direction searching for someone. Katsu took aim and used one of his favorite skills "Fatal Ambush" after a second and a half of cast time he shot an arrow glowing in dark red leaving a trail of red that despaired half a second after he hit the target he then casted "Assassinate" shoting three arrows that looked more like lighting bolts then arrows killing the PKer before he could even react, the colldown of "Assassinate" is quite big Katsu probably wont be able to use it on the other two. Katsu quickly ran towards his second target finding him in almost the same situation as his last target, Katsu used "Silent sniper" that gives him bonus damage and crit chance against his target without the target knowing. By the looks of the PKer gear Katsu could tell he wasnt that high of a lv probably around eighty, he then used "Rapid shot" quickly firing countless of arrows one after the other about thirds of the arrows did crit damage, the target manged to turn towards Katsu before finaly going down and teleporting to the Cathedral. By now Katsu thought his last target will know he is coming his first target must used telepathy to warn him, not that it mattered any way. Katsu was about to run towards where he saw his third target go but then he heared footsteps runing towards him, His target was trying to escape and not knowing where Katsu was he ran right towards him. Katsu smirked "oh the irony" he thought to himself, The PKer stoped as he saw Katsu then droped to his knees and begged that Katsu would let him go. Katsu waved him towards the road both because he would gain nothing from killing the PKer and because he didnt want to waste any more mana or arrows. The PKer ran as hard as he could and Katsu turned toward the forest shouting "You can come out now, the PKers are gone." then realising that who ever the PKers were after will probably think he is a PKer to, so he added "I wont hurt you ...i promise."

Kuroyama

Alone in the forest he rest himself on the ground. From a far he can hear people shouting it's probably one of them that try to take his gear. But soon there are scream that echoed through the forest. Then silence. This thing repeat three times that make Kuroyama raise his guard more. He try to sneak pass and get outside the forest but where he must go? The sound is echoed and he can't tell from where they will come. He hold his staff tightly and try to get up. His feet shaking with fear and tiredness, he look around looking for someone or worse something.

Just before he try to move he heard another voice. This time is a different person he can tell by his sound. "You can come out now, the PKers are gone." Kuroyama feel relieved after hearing this but in the same time he grew anxious. Who is this person? is he really try to help him? his mind filled with different thought. "I wont hurt you ...i promise." This man shouted one more. He observe the area near the end of forest and he saw him. His bow is sheathed and he doesnt look like dangerous. Is now or never, Kuroyama decide to try his luck and move outside the forest using his staff as a crutch. As he come out from the forest he collapsed and fell to the ground.
