Katsu sighed, "Well he probably wont be coming out" he thought to himself. He waited about a minute scanning the forest untill finally giving up and waking out of it towards the road he was riding on before the battle. As he got to the road he saw a body lying on the ground, at first he thought it was the PKer that ran away but quickly realised it wasnt. Katsu ran towards the body it was clear that the body was an adventurer so it means he wasnt dead because if he was he would teleport to the Cathedral. Katsu didnt have any healing spells since he was an assassin but he did have some healing potions. Katsu offered a trade with the stranger on the ground but after a few seconds that the stranger didnt accept the trade, Katsu realised he was still thinking like its a game and not real life "God im stupid" he thought to himself he then took a potion from his magic bag and force the unconscious stranger to drink it. Then realised agian that he had no idea if HP potion actually healed serious injuers and not just raise your HP and preventing you from dying "Well i guess we will have to wait and see then" he thought to himself agian then sat under a tree close to the unconscious stranger.

Kuroyama

Limp and cold he felt a liquid running through his mouth. It doesn't really help because it not raise his body temperature but he manage to gain consciousness. He slowly open his eyes and realize someone is sitting next to him. He is probably the one that killed all his chaser and give him a potion. He tried to speak but his voice is weak "T..T-thanks for... helping me...". He remember that he bought a heat potion inside his bag. He completely forget about it because all of these incident. His hand try to reach his bag. Slowly moving toward before it fell to the ground. "In my bag... t-the orange.. potion.."

Ren

Ren try to impress Raphtalia with his cooking so he grab every best ingredient from the storage. This including a rare drop from raid monster that usually used for high class food. But today he use it for a simple ramen. While busy kneading the dough he can't stop thinking why he doing it. At first he just want to know more about the girl but everything went outside the road. Is not time for thinking about that he thought to himself. For now is the best to focus on making a ramen.


Few minute has passed and now the ramen is done. He use everything he could in it. If he count the price it probably more than the most expensive food in his restaurant. He put the ramen on the tray and walking casually toward Raphtalia. "Sorry for waiting, please enjoy the food" he pick up the ramen and put it on the table. Then bowed politely as he take a few step back

Because of the slime that was spattered around, Mairi slipped off of Howlden easily once he stood up. After Howlden described himself as the "not easily angered" type, Mairi smiled. "That's exactly why I like you." she said as she stood up herself. Those two seemed to be the perfect couple, and that honestly made her sick. She wasn't the type to break up a marriage, though. "I wouldn't know what's going on at the guild hall." she said, "I was kicked out for hitting on one of the maids." After keeping a straight face for a few seconds, Mairi burst out laughing. "I'm kidding, of course. I'm just bored."

Katsu was gazing at the forest almost forgetting about the unconscious body lying next to him, he was thinking about his own body in the real world did he die is he unconscious like the stranger next to him or maybe he was deleted from the real world like he was never there. Katsu shook his head "no point of thinking about that now" he thought. Katsu heared the stranger say "T..T-thanks for... helping me..." he instinctively got up before he manged to comprehend the situation the stranger tryed to reach his bag but failed and droped it "In my bag... t-the orange.. potion..". Katsu reached for the strangers bag pulled a the orange potion and force the stranger to drink it, After a second or two Katsu realised that the orange potion was a heat potion. He took one himself four hours ago and he still had a few in his bag he cursed himself for not realising that the stranger suffered from hypothermia "its too hard to think about this like its the real world" he said quietly to himself. when this was a game you would only get a debuff on all of your stats if your character suffered from hypothermia but this is not a game anymore.

Chiyoko

Chiyoko Placed her hand on her sword just in case as this currently unknown person was behind her it sounded like a male with a really dumb and girlish accent but without looking she couldn't be sure. "I'm heading to Susukino to see if it has better food than Akihabara." Chiyoko said acting like she was playing her subclass which she was after all in her case being a food fighter it meant menu food still tastes nice which always came in helpful now and again.


Chiyoko turned around to face the unknown person still with hand on her sword before face palming. "Kuto I should have guessed." Chiyoko said placing her hands on her hips "Don't scare me like that I thought you might have been a pker." Chiyoko said rather annoyed before wondering what she was doing here. "Now then. What are you doing here is the question that should be answered you know you missed the training right?"

Rindouko

Rindouko stood up and took a look out of his guild window Akihabara look slightly lively but at the same time slightly dead still it was better than when this all started everything was glum and gloomy but it seems the food has cheered most people up but still if something isn't done Akihabara would destroy itself. Still its not like its Rindouko job to fix that nah if it happened Rindouko would just benefit by protecting people so either way he was fine still. He decided to try and track down another guild, guild master to ask them about Susukino after all if they was a problem he would have just sent a low level member of his guild to her death which isn't the nicest thing in the world to think of.

Rindouko wondered around the streets of Akihabara he saw some of his guild mates eating other drinking still all in all his guild didn't look like they would be breaking apart any time some most of the members seem not to mind the change whether its because they just enjoy their new life or if Rindouko had some effect on them still he wasn't looking for any members of his guild no someone else's guild members is what he was looking for. Wondering around a bit more his stomach began to grumble it seemed it was time to eat and what better place than a rice ball stand. He order one payed to person and then set out looking for a bench nearby only to spot someone he was looking for the guild member of foxHowl who he didn't know personally but with them being the only other battle guild in Akihabara he of cause knew about him.

Rindouko walked over to Howlden or at least who he thought was Howlden from descriptions it was identical but who knows. "Sorry to disturb you all, but I was just wondering if you couldn't happen to be Howlden leader of the FoxHowl?"​

"Kuto. I should have guessed." "But you didn't." Kuto responded proudly. Chiyoko confusing her for a PKer was the point, after all. "I'm here doing my own kind of training." she said, "I don't know about the rest of you, but I can't stand being in a crowd of people; especially if we're all doing the same thing. I came here so I could fight mobs by myself." She then pointed at Chiyoko, tapping the girl's chest with her finger. "Besides, I think the more important question is what you're doing way out here alone if you know PKers could jump you. Heck, I've seen a few already. I stopped by the cathedral at Susukino so my training wouldn't get interrupted for long if I died, but I've also been hiding myself in between mob beatdowns to avoid other players. You don't seem to be taking any precautions."

Kuroyama

The man give the orange potion to Kuroyama and he drank it in one go. Slowly his body temperature is raising and soon the freezing debuff is disappearing from his status screen. He can feel his finger again and try to move it. It take a few minute before the effect spread to the whole body. After he regain his strength back he stood up and bow to the man. "Thanks for helping me. If it wasnt you that come to kill them i might freeze to death in the forest". His head remain still, he just feel really relieved after someone helping him. He just want to show the man his gratitude for that. "But im sorry i cant pay you with anything" he add then go silence as if his mouth froze.

Howlden & Kitsumae

"I thought as much," Howlden said to Mairi, before being approached by Rindouko. "That would be me," he replied. Kitsumae stood up and bowed toward Rindouko. "What business do seek with my lord?" she asked, saying what Howlden was thinking in her own words. "Would it be better to discuss it back at the guild hall?" (@Bills352 )

Chrollo

"Thanks for the warning," Chrollo said, turning back to look at Kiotaro. He listened to the man's offer. "I'd enjoy some company, but it would be an injustice for your services to be free. I must give you some compensation once my delivery is completed." He indicated for the monk to follow him as he made his way back to the carriage. "I don't think we've been properly introduced," he said after taking the reigns. "The name's Chrollo." He waited for Kiotaro to climb into the carriage before continuing on his way.

Chrollo and Kiotaro reached Susukino without any incident and Chrollo parked the carriage by the tavern. The tavern workers started to unload the ice chests filled with beverages, some more alcoholic than others. The tavern owner handed Chrollo a bag full of gold coins. Chrollo counted the money and placed 100 coins in a separate coin purse; he left the World Trading Company's cut in the coin purse the tavern owner provided and put the rest of the gold coins into his own. He handed Kiotaro the purse with 100 coins. "I believe you'll find this to be a fair price." (@Tercesasti )

Rindouko

Rindouko bowed back before he shook his head. "No need I will only be a moment." Rindouko said before looking at the three people around him one being Howlden the other being Kitsumae and finally another female called Mairi who was also a member of Foxhowl. "Oh I haven't introduced myself Rindouko leader of the guild The order of Requiem." Rindouko said he always loved introducing himself as his guild normal was well know and the reaction would normally be quite good but however with Howlden it wouldn't be since he is a guild master of another well know guild. "I was just wondering if you have heard about any pkers or anything around Susukino? I sent a low level there alone which could be mistake on my part but as it is I can't send one of my guild members to catch up with her since I let them all have a break." Rindouko said before bowing his head "Any information would be much appreciated"

Chiyoko shrugged "What am I doing... well wondering about getting a feel for the world just that the boss ordered me to go to Susukino so I'm heading there first." Chiyoko said before she just got a great idea. "Why not come with me see the world and maybe some cool items along the way who knows it could be fun?"

Mairi sighed when someone took Howlden's attention away from her. She wanted to play with him some more. Now she had two options: wait until that guy was done talking to Howlden or walk away and find something else to do. After thinking for a few seconds, Mairi decided to wait. She sat down on the bench so that Kitsumae would be sitting in between her and Howlden.

Kuto looked at Chiyoko with an expression that screamed "are you serious?". She then sighed and said, "Look, I've been 'seeing the world' for weeks before I joined the guild. I already know most of the terrain." She then paused. "If you really want me to escort you to Susukino, then I will. Just try not to make this harder than it needs to be." After she finished, Kuto started walking down the path to Susukino.

Katsu felt relieved as the stranger stood up but then got caught off guard when he bowed to him, Katsu saw enough movies in his life to know its common in japan but no one ever bowed to him nor did he ever bowed to any one. In some what of a panic reaction Katsu bowed back feeling very awkward as he did so, he scratched his head as he straighten up then said "You wellcome" he smiled as he said that though he wasnt sure why he smiled, probably because of embarrasment he thought. "its okay you dont have to pay me i didnt waste too many arrows on them anyway, besides i dont think it fair to ask someone to pay for something they didnt ask or ordered". Katsu turned to look at the city walls in the distance "Im heading to Susukino if you are heading there aswell we can travel togther in case any more PKers show up, its not too far from here". Katsu tryed to remmber the name of the stranger then realised that they niether of them introduced himself "My name is Katsu by the way, how should i call you?" Katsu smiled agian, he remembered that this is the longest conversation he had with another adventurer since the apocalypse.

Raphtalia

Waiting patiently she had rested her head on her hand looking out of the window wondering if there was anything interesting to see. Kicking her feet under the table impatiently she immediately almost cheered as she saw Ren coming out of the kitchen with a bowl in his hands. Knowing exactly what the bowl was she pulled up her sleeves. " Woah, it looks great! " She remarked as he set it in front of her she could feel herself gulp the saliva that had been building up, enticed by the savory aroma. Getting ready she grabbed a hold of her chopsticks, got some noodles, and slurped them. She then paused in between the middle, more than satisfied, and continued on inhaling the rest. Without saying a word she finished her meal, drinking all the soup, leaving the bowl bare. Dabbing a napkin on her lips as soon as she was done she gave Ren a thumbs up. " Man that hit the spot~ As expected of a high lvl chef, mind if you make me something again next time? " She said, secretly trying to get another free meal in the future.

Kuroyama

Kuroyama still looking down on the ground. But as soon as the man said he want to go to Susukino he got back up with a terrified look on his face. "susukino..." he murmur. Everything went bad back then at susukino. All the players there is no more than mindless eviln that attack not only player but also people of the land just for fun thats why he try to run from that city. Kuroyama is paused then take a few step back. "My name is Katsu by the way, how should i call you?" the man said. "Hm..? oh.. yes, name, that's right. My name is Kuroyama" he stutter. He look back at the city wall then roll his eyes to Katsu. "If you're going to Susukino i suggest you don't" he try to warn him.

Ren pull up a chair and sit there as he watched her taking the ramen. he is quite astonished by how Raphtalia eat, she eat like a hungry person that doesn't for a three days in a row. He suddenly feel bad that he cause the accident earlier this morning." Man that hit the spot~ As expected of a high lvl chef" she said. He feel a little proud of himself "Of course! how long do you think i raise up that skill" he rub his nose. "mind if you make me something again next time?". Should i or shouldn't i? i can think about that later. he put his hand together and smile. "I don't, but how about you tell me more about you first?" time to dig up information he thought to himself

" Must have taken quite a long time " She answered raising an eyebrow. Her mood soon brightened has he did not reject her request for a future meal. *Score!* Happy and her tummy full she wasn't afraid to say anything. "More about me? Well I guess it depends on what you want to know." Starting off slowly she leaned on the back of her chair in thought of what to say. " For starters as you can see I like good food " Sooner or later she had started to list things off. "I'm currently 24, and yes, I'm a female in the real world too. I like cute animals...Well it isn't fun if I'm the only one talking, why don't you share some things too?"

As Katsu heared Kuroyama's warning he was suprise "Why?... whats happening in Susukino?". Katsu looked puzzled he looked at the city walls agian then back at Kuroyama, thinking the reason Kuroyama was afriad of Susukino is because thats where the PKers came from and returen to when Katsu killed them "Its okay i dont think those PKers will trouble you agian, besides you cant PK in the city so we should be safe there"

"I've heard rumors of PKers hanging around Susukino," Howlden replied to Rindouko's question. "But there's also a potential PKer threat anywhere that isn't a city." He looked over at his wife. "Maybe you've heard something I haven't." Kitsumae sat beside Mairi and gave her a suspicious glance. Her attention was brought back to Holden and Rindouko once she realized that she was asked a question. She shook her head. "My information is the same as my lord's," she replied. "If we hear something we'll let you know. I'm sure there's nothing to worry about." (@Bills352 )

Ren

Ren lean to the chair a bit then scratch his head. There's a look of disappointment on his face. All she tell is useless information that doesn't interest Ren at all. "Well it isn't fun if I'm the only one talking, why don't you share some things too?". Ren touch his chin and look up "Hmmm about me.." He then give a confident look to Raphtalia "As you know i'm the leader of this guild, i control major trade between city and planning to have my own land someday" he paused for a moment "About me in real world, well... maybe some other time"

Kuroyama

"You don't understand!" he snapped. He then realized he just did something bad. He cover his mouth and look down. "A-ah.. i'm sorry.. i doesn't mean to..." He need to tell him what was happening right now in Susukino. Katsu might fell into trouble sooner or later. Kuroyama gathered his courage and look to Katsu eyes. "If you're thinking that those PKer only kill player you are wrong. Back then they also killed people of the land... maybe when this is a game they're just NPC but..but.. now i realize i'm wrong, they're also people that live in this world with family and friend" a small tear dropped from Kuroyama eyes. "They killed them, even a child. In front of me" he wipe his tear using his sleeve

Katsu was smiling thinking he surely convinced Kuroyama its safe to go to Susukino, thats why he was even more suprise when Kuroyama snapped at him he apologized quickly after even though Katsu took no offence. Katsu just stood there listing to Kuroyama and his traumatic experience in Susukino, Katsu waited untill Kuroyama was done talking then he started to try and process what he just learned, Katsu didnt really think as NPC like other weaker humans he was nice to them and not even the thought of killing one of them crossed his mind but he didnt think of them like other humans more like pets. He then thought about the NPCs themself they changed in the apocalypse to, from just mindlessly follow a script to basicly having a life. Katsu got angrier as he thought about it angry at himself for treating NPCs like pets and for those PKers that kill them thinking they are nothing more then code, he took three slow breaths to calm himself then said "Okay i will go alone, if what you are saying is true we need to warn those that go to the city without knowing the danger" He rubbed his chin thinking then added "also we need help, do you have any high lv guild memebers or friends that you can call". Katsu opened his character menu checking his gear weardown percentage, 30% on all of his gear "That will have do i guess" he thought to himself.

Shen had been at the end of his journey to Susukino from Akihabara. He was there because he had overheard a rumor about the amount of PKers in the city. He left immediately after he heard the rumor, not caring if it was true or not. He had used his wolf mount for most of his journey and the rest he had walked. When he reached a forest with Susukino in the distance, he figured it was time to take a break from all of that movement. He walked over to the nearest tree and climbed up in it, making a small den for himself. He spotted a caravan going towards the city and thought he could go and help them out so he jumped off of the tree and jogged over to the caravan being cautious in case it was a trap, he had his weapon to his side. He slowly walked up to the front of the caravan hoping he would be noticed.

Rindouko

Rindouko smiled so they don't know nothing more than me hmm. "Well thank you for the information that's all I needed I'll let you get back to whatever it is you were going now." Rindouko said before walking away before he stopped and turned around. "Oh and if you ever need any help with anything The Order of Requiem would be willing and ready." Rindouko said as a sort of payment it basically meant since you helped me i'll help you if you ever need it. Rindouko then continued walking away noticing that he never ate his rice ball he began to eat it.

Chiyoko

Chiyoko smirked. "Good enough even some company that far's nice." Chiyoko said before she jogged to catch up on Kuto. "So why did you join The Order of Requiem?" Chiyoko asked she was just trying to make ideal chit chat to make the walk shorter or at least feel shorter after all he had, had no one to talk to since Akihabara and to be honest she was just interested in other peoples reasons for joining the guild.

Mairi was getting bored watching the two talk. That Kitsumae really was impossible to faze. The best she could get out of her was a suspicious glance. The conversation wasn't that interesting either. In her opinion, she didn't see the appeal of PKing. She messed with people to see their reactions, but she never really tried to make anyone mad. But at least respawning meant that PKing wasn't as bad as murder. Mairi rotated herself and laid her head on Kitsumae's lap, her legs hanging off the side of the bench. "Wake me up when something happens."

Kuto put her hand under her chin as she recalled when she joined the guild. "I don't have an interesting backstory about why I joined the guild." she said, "I was guildless and I realized that I couldn't get very far without a guild. I looked for a guild and The Order was one of the first ones I found so I joined. That's it." By the time she finished talking, Susukino was in sight. "We're almost there."

Raphtalia

"..." Getting real comfortable with him she had tilted her head and gave him a questioning look. " Hey don't you think it's a bit unfair? I mean I've told you about myself a bit, but on the other hand you've only said stuff I've already known, and pretty much what mostly every one knows. " Pouting she then pointed at him with a determined face. " Now I guess it'll be easier if you answer some questions, no? Then we can keep going as I ask one, in turn you can ask me another. " Not waiting for him to respond she began with her interrogation. " Now, for the first question...What are you're hobbies. "

Kuroyama

Kuroyama looked behind trying to avoid eye contact with Katsu. "Friend..? I have no friend... I used to have but..." then a silence. He once betrayed and abandoned by his friend when they're raiding a dungeon. They use him as a bait and think that he is no more than bait itself. They left him alone fighting the boss while the other is running away trying to escape from the dungeon. Whether luck or his own effort he manage to dealt a finishing blow to the boss and cleared the dungeon alone. When he come back to town and met with them again instead of worrying about him they ask him to give all the loot. Of course Kuroyama refuse because what they did earlier. Not long after that Kuroyama friendlist is gone one by one. He knows what happen. He knows that they and the other delete him from the friend lis. It hurt him alot but he try to stand and bear the pain alone. After recalling his memory Kuroyama think he can make Katsu his new friend. As a friend he wont let him go alone to Susukino. He give a serious look to Katsu and put his hand to his chest. "I will go with you. It's dangerous to go alone" his eyes filled with confident as he speak it.

Ren

The conversation has gone out of track and now it's more like casual talk. But it doesn't hurt at all. It's been a long time since the last time he have this kind of conversation. "My hobby?" he look confused and think for a bit "Maybe cooking? I used to live alone and that's also why i take chef subclass" he lean forward to the table and smile "It's my turn now, do you work or go to college in real life?"

"Friend..? I have no friend... I used to have but..." that hit Katsu hard he didnt have any firends since moving to japan either it was hard from him in real life before the apocalypse and the combination of being alone and being sucked into a game unable to see even his family took him down a dark path, where he wanted to kill himself every day but couldnt because there was no point he would just respawn. But from what Katsu could tell Kuroyama didnt go down that path, despite the fact that he lost his friends and he got sucked into a game just like Katsu he didnt give up at that point Katsu admired Kuroyama. "I will go with you. It's dangerous to go alone" Katsu smiled and sent Kuroyama a friend and a party invite then said "Well then lets go already" Katsu summoned his horse got up on it then said "Do you have a mount you can ride?"

To her demise, she practically learned nothing from her question. * Of course his hobby is cooking why else would he be a chef!! * Now understanding her mess up she couldn't just take it back, after all she was the one suggested this. Relieved that the others answer wasn't as hard as she had thought she easily answered. " I do both. I'm now in my 6th year of college, and I'm working part time at a pet store. " As she finished with her answer she didn't wait to shoot Ren with another question. " Now, I would like to ask, What do you plan on doing on wards? You know after being in Elder Tale and all. "
