~ Background (Yuvette): A 20 year-old single woman named Yuvette Ametrine unfortunately finds herself in a sticky situation. Things in her life weren't getting so pleasant, so as the religious one she decided to pray for a gift. Something to help her find something special to do. And so she thought that thing was the offer of a job. Yuvette recently received an application to become a worker for a high-paying estate. But that first interview went a bit downhill, and she at least requested the workers to let her try again. And there she got to redeem herself. The very next day she excitedly proves herself in a better manner, but a throbbing sensation starts on the back of her head. Yuvette was feeling dizzy, and then fell unconscious. When her eyes fluttered open, she was wearing an elongated dress, standing near a table that was set in a place that looked like a ball. The lights flickered off, and then 3 gunshots rang out.

~ Background (Anemone): A fair lady living on the land of Myrefalls, Anemone Delacroix had been known for owning the biggest garden through the town/village. That was perhaps due to her wealth as a caste number of 2, but even so, she had so far refused to find a partner that take her hand in marriage. It just hadn't crossed her mind yet, nor had she found someone worthy. Arthur Delacroix is her brother, working as an architect - one of the most common in the are - to gain money. The Delacroix family had unfortunately been drained, the only so-far living characters be Anemone and Author. Yet something else upcoming would change that soon.

On the night when a the Great Duchess Ball (In The Palace of the Royals) was being held, Anemone refrained from drinking alcohol-keeping such reputation. The aged drinks passed through the tables with ease, occasionally stopping at the seats with the high status classmen and woman who got to have it free. The problem with The Duchess Ball was that those under the caste of four would have to pay for everything, whereas the wealthy up didn't. Anemone didn't quite understand the process of the castes, as it had proven useless countless of times. People will always be people.

Despite the joyous sounds of laughter and cackling people who cracked from jokes, the host/hostess (the royal in this rp) of the ball were just going to make a speech when the lights had shut off. The curtains were swooped shut beforehand when the party started, so it was heavily dark around the room. Three loud bangs rang out, and when the lighting returns, everyone shrieked. Anemone's brother-Author Delacroix-was bleeding dead from the forehead, splayed on the floor like an artwork.
