Fandom DWMA - A Sound Soul - Soul Eater RP

Or rock paper scissors. Haha, jk. Sure, roll. Whoever has the highest number wins and the greater the difference of the two, the better the winner gets to win,

Yea, for me its a like-hate thing. I like the idea, I hate everything canon for the most part.

Yup, I suppose we should start rolling then.

Hmph, I was thinking of starting up a Homestuck roleplay and I needed a solid clientele.

Let's roll!

It's like Pokemon.

I win, yay! I'm so happy that this site comes with built in Dice, plus, you can't just choose or not choose to post your result, so you can never try again for a better result. No cheating possible.

I wouldn't like to call it barely, I'd just like to call it, in the end a very well fought battle that just ends in them winning by a margin, not really big, but not very small either.

And by the way Ruby, Homestuck is a quite interesting fandom basing itself on its variety of emotional tones. Due to its whimsical plot details in addition, the meme or saying 'Let me Tell You About Homestuck' has given rise to popularity over the course of its development. If you'd like to hear about it even slightly, I can tell you in brief to give you a good concept about what its all about.

Elision, that'd be really cool of you :) I'm always interested in listening to things that have prospective to being cool.

Ok, wonderful! It has the prospective to be either really cool, or really stupid, not really a moderate viewpoint.

Homestuck is a webcomic originally created by Andrew Hussies alongside various other comics, such as Problem Sleuth or Bard Quest and now has given rise as a very popular fandom reaching its sixth year of existence, its first page published in April of 2009.

See, Homestuck begins as this really humorous, chuckling slice of life-esque plot that follows the adventures of John and his three friends, Rose, Dave and Jade, knowing each other entirely through the internet the first 100 or so pages reflect upon how John, on his birthday, is messing around and talking to his friends, trying to play a game, not really significant or very interesting besides how humorous it can be. As Homestuck progresses, the scenario however changes. The plot then reveals itself to be mainly focused upon the very game John was trying to play (a game called Sburb, being recently released so now he and his friends are scrambling to get their copies of the software so they can all play as the main conflict of the first couple acts) all along. Sburb turns out to be not a virtual game, but a game which takes its players into a grand adventure with heavy science fiction undertones as players go through their 'Session', in real life actually playing through a long quest in order to eventually, as the game means, kill the game's bad guys, the Black King and Black Queen, and aid the White King and Queen.

Anything else is sort of spoilers, so beware.

I am actually currently doing a Homestuck RP involving OCs. But, If you come up with a concept I like Elision, I might join. Might.

Link please? To the forum?

And I mainly do, whenever I get into Homestuck Roleplays, a typically Other character eccentric Session which follows the exploits of these other characters while we do with the session what we will. I don't like to use Cannon characters because I hypocritically respect even a shred of what good people who've given the world such cool things to scream about while still infringing upon their universes and ideas.

Although, some ideas are pretty damn recycled if you think about it.

Bleach, Soul Eater and Noragami all share similar elements including A, the use of a weapon or person who transforms into a weapon by a peron who can't do the same b, the hunting down and murder of evil spirits for whatever purpose, typically affiliated to a religion or moral affiliation (Shinigami of Bleach, Death from Soul Eater and the Gods from Noragami).

And, once you reach a certain point in the comic, everything starts to revolve around a continuously expanding plot based on lots of differing factors as well as some pretty boss action scenes from time to time. But the main interesting point about Homestuck is that fans literally invented the term 'weird plot shit' to describe the unknown factors laid out in a sea of confusion if you don't stick around for the ride and make sure you read everything to avoid confusion. If you were to do such a thing, it'd get really boring and stupid, but still, its really cool how everything develops.

I was never one for just joining a large community anyway, I prefer something i can base myself in, its just cooler that way.....

By the way, fun tip for all you Homestuck Roleplayers, whenever you come up with a character, if they're Troll or Human, their Chum Handle Is inherently A combination of these four letters, G C A T. There is no exception among trolls and human because they happen to share a very big amount of DNA, these four letters coming from the double Helix of DNA found in Us and them (the trolls), everyone so far has been a combination, except for the Cherubs, because their DNA has only Us in it, making both Caliborn and Calliope's handles be a double U in some form.

Those who are battling are free to continue writing out the battle scene in the Second IC tab if they so desire; just so you guys know.
