Fandom DWMA - A Sound Soul - Soul Eater RP

I am just gunna step out for a bit, lol. Actually this to made me want to rewatch Soul Eater and I am showing it to a friend.

Curtis is mainly interacting with Marie for now. Which I have to say you are doing a pretty fine job on her personality!

Apart from that Curt is only u with UFO. But I don't even have first name bases with anyone yet! Kinda silly. I am enjoying this RP so far! Hope it doesn't die! I'll be reading the battle but will probably not being saying much in that thread.

As for the first thread, are we on hold untill further notice, or how is that working?

And now, I feel like watching it again. I guess it has been like 1 or 2 years, maybe I should....

I was waiting to get some feedback. I was thinking we could move on in such a way that it doesn't elude to anyone winning.

I also wanted to suggest that we move forward in time soon. Like a couple weeks so that not only do the students know one another better, they've also learned something from there classes.

I've noticed Roleplays that are in school tend to get caught on going through ever single class... and most don't even make it past the first day of school. That's the last thing I want to happen here... So unless something important is happening in a class, most of the time I'd like to move past them.

And I'll let people know about important aspects to pay attention to. Like Marie's history class with extra projects for example xD

When we get a few EAT students I'll further discuss how that's going to work as well because they'll be going on missions at that point.

Also, wanted to say.... I LOVE ALL OF THE CHARACTERS IN THIS SO FAR SO FREAKIN MUCH! THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO IS IN THIS BECAUSE YOU ARE AMAZING! <3

-side note-

I have been rewatching Soul Eater for a 2nd time to keep myself grounded on the Soul Eater world :)

Also, as for my suggestion. I say they the students and there lack of fighting knowledge, all end up in a sort of stalemate. Or maybe something happens like a disciple of some sort of antagonist attacks and it ruins the battle royal. And they are forced to confront it as a group, as well as having Marie and Curt step in. Everyone gets hurt and then we can time skip? Something along those lines would be cool and might work.

See, the thing is, is that a lot of meisters come to the school trained in fighting. So says my research, anyway.

It's the weapons that don't have fighting experience... and that's not going to matter when they're wielded by someone who knows what they're doing.

The biggest thing for meisters and weapons is learning how to work as partners.

Can't help but picture that selection kinda dramatically, to be honest. Maybe because I never got past Soul Eater NOT first pages and don't really understand the whole NOT or EAT thing substantially.

NOT, from what I understand is more of a curriculum to show weapons to control their abilities. It's a non-combatant curriculum with NOT standing for: 'Normally Overcome Target' There was speculation that Meisters that go into the NOT program are using it for career opportunities.

EAT, from what I've gathered, is more for the students that want to be heroes. Maka, BlackStar, Death, and their weapons were EAT students. Where as NOT has regular classes, EAT has classes and missions to choose from. EAT stands from Extremely Advantaged Talent.

NOT is 90% if the school, EAT is 10%.

@Mine

So EAT is kind of like the elites I suppose; the cool kids that have missions instead of classes.

Still, I don't understand why people are pushing so hard on being EAT students already.

Most of us arent into just soul eater school rp edition. By just looking at some of the cs I can tell you most wanted to hunt evil.soul and get to a main story of possible keshin evil.witches and so on. Just what I seen

Thank you, @RubyRose !

And yeah, pretty much. I don't see why anyone would want to be a NOT student. To me, Soul Eater was about kicking ass with a weapon against Kishins and whatnot, not cute high school girls doing some fighting once in a while, like what NOT seemed to be.

If she lets go of Hoshiko, she'll dodge the attack and not be wounded. If she doesn't let go, though, she has no room to dodge and will take the hit.

If I understand this correctly.

Well, I was thinking we would roleplay it out, but just deciding it right here and now seems like an easier means of determining the situation and also gives us a common idea of what we're trying to form out of our roleplay, how about we roll for it?
