I'd like Ryu with Shube mostly because (and I read up on our sheets) they're more suitable. She's good with MMA and Maryial arts like he is and I think in battle they would be a good team. I'm not being bias

If Bard goes unpaired before he timeskip, can I please make it to where he signed up for a partner and had one but his partner completely forgot he exists and signed up with someone else and the DWMA ignored him? I think it might make for an entertaining plot point of Death perhaps suddenly putting him with someone else when he finds out?

He's going to be a splendid fighter some day when he finds the courage to stand out. But there's no need to rush there. Supporting others and resonating between people is plenty. He'll probably figure it out, assuming he gets a weapon.
