Fandom DWMA - A Sound Soul - Soul Eater RP

Kagoma raises hand but before she could answers someone else does. She thinks darn and I had the answer to that question.

Daydreaming Kagoma fantasizing about making alex into a weapon that death could use. "Hey alex, I want to make into a death scythe. What you think?" says kagoma quietly trying not to disrupt the class.

Solomon blinked for a second at her mentioning of simply taking on the threat which poised itself at the young demon weapons across the city, a small frown forming on his face as he began to actually consider it a valid possibility. He looked over at her, looking at her in his own way of whispering silently as he then gave a small inhale, followed by another small exhale. He held up a hand, his expression changing as he began to write down on a another piece of paper, the one he was using before already being scribbled upon beyond the point of finding any more room.

We could easily die, or, even worse, get expelled.

....

Solomon looked up, understanding right there that, no matter how much he tried in his classes, being transferred to EAT would require more than good grades. After all, the two parallel programs that run in the Academy were for two entirely different groups of people. People here to be at school and adjust, taking advantage of the high social status of the DWMA or just learning how to function properly as a Demon Weapon, and the others to actually use whatever powers they've been given to join the crusade in one form or another, NOT students could easily have good grades and the administration would probably not even blink at them. Solomon needed something to back up his proposal.....he certainly wasn't a very brash person but....

Fine, we'll have to come up with a plan to do this though.

Why were platters so hard to find in this place? Well, perhaps that would be a stupid question now that he thought about it. In such a humongous facility as DWMA, someone was bound to find themselves lost here, were they not? Or maybe he was just the odd one of the group in there, who was pathetic enough to get lost and arrive late at his first class.

Luca could only sigh in response to all this. Was this really the right choice for him? As surprising as it was for him, the Italian boy could not help but let his thoughts become grimmer and grimmer as his feet led him forward, filled with insecurities, as he brushed his messy blonde locks while his eyes wandered through the walls and decorations absent-mindlessly. He couldn't even find his classroom on his first day. If he couldn't even do that, how was he supposed to find a partner of all things? ...And who wants a deaf partner anyhow? Someone who enjoyed a challenge? An idiot? He would just be an inconvenience anyway.

Ugh, there he was again, already letting the situation take over him completely. Focus, he needed to focus. He had to show motivation, strength, not defeat, specially not right of the bat. The blonde Meister instantly brougth his palms towards his face, slapping his cheeks energetically. He looked stupid for sure but heck, there were times when a good smack was needed and this was the perfect one for that exactly!

Now, to find the class. The most logical step would be to either guide himself through a map or ask for directions. The choice was obvious. He would most certainly have taken advantage of the former if he had one in his possession. But such was not the case. Now, the question was who would he ambush on the hallways? Perhaps a staff member? A student also late for class? The options were endless. Well, not really, seeing how empty his surroundings appeared to be.

So caught up he was in his own thoughts that he would only be brought back to reality when his shoulder bumped into someone else's. "Oh." He murmured with clear hesitation. Off to a great start, wasn't he? He just hoped the student wouldn't be too mad about it. Even if he could not hear their protests, it was still uncomfortable to witness someone go ballistic on you, or even just get slightly annoyed. Taking out his sketchbook on pure reflex, his pen danced in the blank page in order to communicate his polite apologies to the stranger. Questions would come later. That is, if this encounter would turn out to be eventful, of course.

I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings. Please forgive me.

While listening to the others answer the questions, Alex hears Kagoma ask him if he wants her to make him into a death scythe. "I'd like that." Alex replied quietly, "That is one of the reasons I'm here, right? To become a death scythe." Alex was pretty sure that was one of the big reasons why he was going to this school. Well, that and for some certain safety reasons due to events in the past. Yeah, most witches wouldn't really want to attack the DWMA head on, so it was partially for safety. "Well, time to actually focus now." Alex thought, "no more messing around."

Tori blinked when he felt somebody walk into him. He took a few small quiet footsteps back. He looked at the blond boy. "I'm sorry.....I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." He said, his tone was a bit soft. He rubbed the back of his neck a little awkwardly and watched Luca take out his sketchbook. He curiously seemed to want to know why that was his reaction of all things. Oh well. It didn't really matter. There's no reason to ask about it. Maybe he could try to be friends with the boy. He didn't know really anyone here, and he should start somewhere. He made a small bow of his head. "Again I apologize... my name is Tori."

Luca's head was slightly tilted to the right, as his expression gave an air of confusion. Was...was he apologizing? It was all he could gather from reading his lips. But he had to be the one to not pay attention, he had no need to apologize! Distress took over his posture and mannerisms before he knew it.

Waving his hands frantically, the blonde Meister quickly tried to stop him from apologizing any further, gently placing him in his original position while shaking his head energetically. A grin took place in his face, desperately trying to reassure the boy that he was the only one at fault.

Not able to catch Tori's introduction duo to his bow impeding him from his usual lip reading, Luca once again wrote a message on his sketchbook, showing to the silver haired male with a somewhat embarrassing smile.

There's no need to apologize! I was the one at fault here, after all.

Also did you say something else?
I'm I My hearing is kinda bad...

Realizing he was perhaps coming across as rude with a "Ah!" and once again returning to his sketchbook, he also added something underneath the previous words.

My name is Luca, Luca Archangelo. What's yours, if you don't mind me asking?

Kylei Crysten

Then the heavy metal strawberry came in, along with his snowman. Blondie made a startled noise and adjusted her posture in her seat. Her eyes followed his movement as he sat at the bacl row. Why didn't God hear her prayers? Crysten made a sour face and turned away, letting her blonde hair whip the desk. A few students answered the question, mostly Salo, and she nodded along staring at the board. The history of it all seemed pretty complicated, yet amazing. Because it was about weapons! And she was a weapon!

"Hrm? Death Weapons? Ah! That's worth gaining praise from society and becoming strong!! If I become one, I'll definitely be in a manga!!! Ahahahaha!!!" She placed her hands on her hips as she lifted her head proudly. "Since I'm in the NOT stage, I'll just have to work hard and prove myself to become one of the EAT students!!! Because being a Death Weapon is an honor!!! Ahahaha!!! I will make sure to become one of the best!!! And then I'll carve a sculpture of myself!!! BELIEVE IT SHIELA!!!" (Page 1, if you don't know who Shiela is.) A large grin popped onto her face as she waited for anyone else to respond. And I'll also take out that bitch who kidnapped the weapon students! Such cruel things won't be forgiven. Hehe. Kylei didn't care if she interrupted the class a bit, she felt positive about her future and her goals. Ahahaha! Nobody will stop her from becoming a death weapon.

Tori watched Luca and allowed the meister to move him to where he had originally stood. He made a small sigh. A wave of calmness seemed to wash over him. His expression softened, and his shoulders drooped slightly. It was a relief knowing that the meister wasn't upset about the incident. When Luca grinned at him, Tori returned a small smile back to him, but his smile grew as he read the words the boy had written down in the sketchbook. "Ah, it's alright. And no, I don't mind." He said with a small pause. "My name is Tori Anders...but just Tori is fine. I'm a weapon." he said before turning his gaze down the hall before looking back at Luca. "It's nice to meet you."

Glaive nodded, her smile lengthening at the thought of possible excitement. She pondered plans for a moment, before giving up. That just wasn't her kind of thing. So, instead, she looked at Solomon. "So. What did you have in mind..?" She inquired, a small smirk now appearing on her face as she imagined some strange and absurd plans that had popped into her head. She shook them away, however, and awaited Solomon's response. It seemed that he was better suited for this type of thing, so she would trust him to handle it. Unless, he asked her too. Then she'd definitely try, it'd just be a very strange idea that he might not even accept, for risk of danger. All of these thoughts were sifting through her mind as she sat, half listening to the teacher and half waiting for Solomon.

Solomon looked at the girl sitting next to him for a second and then started to simply write on his white sheet of paper again, the means of communication seeming to have an appropriate flow to it. He hummed again slightly, almost completely occupied by the thought of how he would approach the dangerous situation he and another girl he barely knew would face on. Surely the odds were stacked down against him, but he paid no mind to these dangers, he had only the issue of beating whatever was behind all of it and making sure it wasn't his mother, that was what really mattered.

The plan is fairly simple. The person or people behind this are obviously after one thing; demon weapons. So, by default what we would need to trick them into a confrontation is a demon weapon, I'll simply need to find myself in a dark alleyway with you not so far behind, and then, when they attack you spring into action and we fight together. Of course, alone the both of us are too inexperienced to fight any real enemy alone with an acceptable chance of winning, so we'll have to work together, demon weapon and meister.

"It seems I have a rather knowledgeable class for once!" Marie said with the enthusiasm that would say it wasn't normal for first years to be able to answer her questions. "In that case, I hardly see any reason to keep tossing questions your way. Instead let me tel you about the group projects that will be due next week." She said with a grin.

"It's a rather special project; a bit odd for a history class but I'm the teacher here. So I decide what goes on." She said in a firm voice. "it's actually a test, you see, to see which of you are cut out for the EAT class and which are not. If you fail you will never make it." She said in a dead tone voice before grinning. "Only joking; you'll have chances afterwards but they'll be of your own making. So here's the project: You are each to partner with a prospective partner- weapons find a meister and meister's a weapon... and then each pair is to act out a historical battle. Or you guys could just fight... each pair that shows real flair and soul resonance will be considered for the EAT courses instead of remaining in the NOT." She said gleefully, looking around as if expecting to hear clapping and cheers from her students. Because of course everyone wanted to be a part of the EAT class. Of course Everyone did.

Glaive could barely hold in her excitement at that plan. "That.. Is brilliant. Now, all we have to do is train." She said the matter like it was small, insignificant. But she knew they would have to train hard. And, work as a team. Maybe, they could even figure out some attacks and combos. Or, maybe she was just fantasizing and not thinking realistically. Yea, probably that. But she could still hope that that would be the case! She glanced back at the teacher, but her real attention was on all of the possibilities that had just been opened up. As her thoughts wandered, she suddenly realized the teacher was talking. Her face light up even more. "This is a great opportunity to train!" She exclaimed in a hushed voice to Solomon, her eyes still trained on the teacher but full of intensity.

Hoshiko's eyes widened a bit, though no one would be able to see past his goggles, at the mention of this project. He would have to find a meister, a meister he worked well with if he was to have a chance at making it into EAT. He would actually have to go and seek out a partner. He thought he would have had more time, but he would have to find a meister in a timely manner in order to start training with said meister. Hoshiko wanted to get into EAT, no, he HAD to for him to truly show his worth and begin on the track to surpass his father. At least, that was his thinking. He knew he couldn't rush too much, but he had to hurry none the less. He kept his attention towards the teacher to get any last bit of information. In his mind, he made sure to do a quick survey of potential meisters as soon as the teacher was completely done. He had a week to complete this project. Hoshiko knew he might fail, but he was going to try has damn hardest to get into EAT.

The gears in Solomon's mind then turned as he bit his lip. Nodding as he started to write something down again on his white sheet of paper, a small smile growing on his lips as his pencil scratched against the surface of white. He considered it a wonderful Idea of what had just come from Glaive's mouth. It was perfect, all three of their necessary 'to-dos' which had been listed so far were now lining up perfectly, all they needed was the opportunity they had right just then and there.

Ms. Marie, would you mind supervising a school oriented battle between a Weapon and Meister pair against someone else? Me and Glaive would like to complete the assignment now and test our soul compatibility and it just seems natural taht we can hit two bird with one stone right here and now after all, would you please mind?

Of course, the assignment's outcome had no strict guarantee they'd come out as the victors or the losers of the situation, yet Solomon had to dare t dream after all. They had to Train, do this project and in addition to that find this mystery person and stop their agenda towards kidnapping various students throughout the academy. He turned to Glaive, a smile on his face as he knew a battle would probably sound good, she needed some exercise after all, some birds just have to fly after all, and he had no problem with having an energetic possible partner, it just meant she had tenacity and perseverance she could form into skill.

Marie's expression became exceptionally serious upon Solomon's request and she began to mutter to herself, constantly looking at him, rereading his words, then looking away again. It would be entertaining and an important lesson. She rubbed at her chin before beginning to pace back and forth in thought.

"Do we have any volunteers to face the boy and his meister?" She asked, seeking a raise of hands for someone who is interested in taking on the new duo. This was definitely that kind of school.

Alex was pretty shocked from what Ms. Marie just said. "Is she seriously planning on having a duel on the first day?" He thought in surprise. She sounded very serious about this fight too. It certainly would be entertaining at least, but Alex had zero interest in that on the first day of school, especially with Kagoma having a hand injury from earlier. There was a big question lingering in his mind though; who was going to fight this kid? Alex could already think of some likely candidates, but he just sat silent, waiting for the duel to begin.

Hoshiko's hand shot up in the air. He didn't know what came over him, it must have been part of his dad, Black Star. He wanted to fight these two, regardless if he was destined to lose. He was going to try, even if his options were limited since he didn't have a meister. He wanted to test himself. Hey, even if he lost, at least he would have helped a meister and weapon see if they were compatible. He saw it as a win win. Maybe a meister might raise their hand as well and hopefully be a match for Hoshiko, but he could only hope so. He usually thought these kinds of things out, but he was in "Black Star mode" as his mother would call it. "I volunteer to face these two."

UFO stared vacantly out into space, only half listening to the discussion about Death Weapons. Witches souls blah blah... He wondered what would happen if a Weapon ate more than one Witch's soul. Would it give the Weapon a bigger power boost or something? That was something he needed to experiment with in the future... ah, that's right, he needed a Weapon too. Eh, there was a disproportionate amount of Weapons to Meisters; eventually, someone would get desperate. Ah, but the disappearances of the Demon Weapons meant a decrease though. Now that... that was interesting. Wonder what the Weapons were going to be used for... eheh...

His gaze flickered to a loud outburst near him, and vaguely recognized the blondey from before. Death Weapon? Well, many Demon Weapons dream of it, and not many ever achieve it. UFO snorted, injecting derision into the noise, quietly enough that the teacher couldn't hear him, but loudly enough for the loud blonde to hear. Gaze shifting from the front of the room where the teach was volunteering for fights (ooooh he wanted to fight too...) to the idiot, UFO gave her a cocky sneer that expressed all the contempt he had for her. No words needed to be spoken to express what he conveyed: that he spat upon her dream of becoming a powerful Death Weapon.

@yumiyukifan1

Mister Sumpter... No i don't like the sound of that at all... Fucking hell, if i am in a place of order i can't have people calling me by my first name. That is degrading even for someone like me.

The Restrainer thought to himself as he slowly paced down the hallway where the idiot brat ran. His hand was on his chin deep in his mind thinking of how he should present himself. Certainly he was going to mess with everyone and have fun with his new "job" though, he couldn't do so without introducing himself forever.

I could just have them call me Chains... That is what people who hired me started to refer to me as. It is a lot less official yet at the same time, still is a name that upholds a bit of respect.

Curt was now reaching the door to the room where the class has already begun. He was not paying much attention as he was walking up to the door and he heard a bunch of non-sense dumb questions about being a death weapon. Hunting Witches and such. All of which is what they seemed to think made them more powerful. Curt also heard something he dreaded hearing. The bit about Soul Resonance. It urked at Curtis, he hated the idea of being wielded. Much less having to have a partner he could trust. There was a short list of people Curtis would even half trust. Curt bit his lip and shrugged off the thoughts as he stood in the doorway. He glanced in as he heard a bit about a duel and saw a pair already wanting to take part in the duel and a loud mouth brain dead standing up to them thinking he could take them by himself.

Curtis let out a loud cracking laugh as he walked into the room and pointed at the child with his hand up acting all tough.

"I admire your bravery kid, but from the looks of it everyone in this class has a lot to learn. Lets do some simple math and figure out that 2 on 1 is by far an unfair advantage."

Curt looked around the room before continuing.

"Though kid, I still think you could take those 2 idiots alone! While they have to rely on each-other, you only have to know yourself. So in that case, you might just have the advantage there! In fact i will even cheer you on you cocky moron!"

Curt seemed confused to why he even decided to change his target from the 1 kid to the group. His mouth just kind of blurted that last bit out. Originally he wanted to laugh at the kid getting in over his head with his cocky attitude. Though, halfway through insulting him, Curtis's hatred of the though of working together with someone changed his mind to wanting to laugh at the pair instead. To hide the fact that he was confused by his own words, he jsut put a signature smirk on his face and leaned back glaring at the room waiting for their take on what was said.

To be honest Curtis didn't give a shit who won, he didn't even really know what the difference between EAT and NOT were. Though there was a part of him wanting that kid to show the power of a demon weapon on it's own.

"A demon weapon on their own against a demon weapon and meister pairing? Doesn't seem all that fair to me." Marie mumbled that last part as she listened to an older man speak. He could have been a student if his powers were late in arriving, but the way he spoke and the way he held himself said very clearly he had a higher position here. If he was above her head, she would have known him, but he wasn't so Marie's quick assumption was that he was a teacher. Possibly a weapon like herself, or even a meister.

"Alright lone demon weapon, if the challenging pair accepts ou and you truly think you could win, I'm not going to stop you from fighting. I'll witness your battle." She stated boldy. And even if I didn't, that other teacher would it seems. Might as well make sure a professional watches this fight. Because teacher or not, he was obviously new. Barging into a classroom like that; Marie didn't appreciate it in the slightest.

"At any rate, if we're really going to fight, though this classroom would suffice it might be best to take this outside where you have more rooms and spectators are less likely to be caught up in the attack."

Kagoma figuring its alex and her chance to show what they can do. " hey can it be a three way battle me and Alex versus them." Says kagoma excitingly. She didnt put a thought to how alex might have felt but if she ask him he probably follow her to hell and back.

Kylei Crysten

Hearing a snort from behind, she took out her manga book and pointed it towards the back row. Her cheeks were tinted pink, which meant she was 'Blushing with Anger'. "Huuh?! Do you pigs think my dreams are stuu-upid?!?!" Her eyes locked on Nose Hair-sama and the blonde stared at him lividly. It was definitely him, since the others wouldn't meet her eye at all. And he would snort too, because he was a pig!!! A "Tch" sound escaped her lips and she climbed over the desks to his seat. Standing in front of the fake haired bully, she raise her manga book.

"KYLEI SENSE!!!!!"

WHACK

"It's rude to turn someone's dream down, you Baka!!! It's not polite at all!!! And it's really offensive!!! Like I said again, Nose Hair-sama, YOUR WORDS OF POISON WON'T HURT ME!!! Hmph!" The blonde turned her body towards the front and climbed back down to her desk, crossing her arms while listening to the students and teacher speak. And then something she heard made her perk up.

Her heart nearly exploded. This teacher was wonderful. Such an opportunity like that would be too valuable to pass. The blonde threw a fist in the air and gave a joyful shout. "YESSSSS!!!!! Ahahaha!!!" Crysten turned to face the students around her, her eyes screaming with anxiety and her smile larger than a crocodile. SHE WOULD HAVE TO WORK HARD!!! SHE NEEDED TO ACHIEVE THIS!!! The bandaged teen gazed at Salo's writing and tapped her chin.

Kylei stared at the sheet of paper for awhile and so did the teacher. The eyepatch woman asked if anyone wanted to challenge the Salo and Glaive pair and a youth accepted. She turned her body towards the 'man who dared' and seemed impressed. He could be a meister otherwise a weapon. His partner didn't seem to be present. If he was a weapon he would have slightly good chances of combat, but if a weaponless meister, somebody better shoot their hand up to help. The blonde waited for someone else to speak up, but frowned after a second. She looked back to see Nose Hair-sama and frowned more. He had an ugly smile on.... Ugh.

@Strawberry Preserves

Tori...

If he was not wrong, it was Japanese for bird, was it not? Ah, how fitting, just by looks alone, he seemed to certainly be a free spirit.

Or maybe it was just how cool he looked in Luca's eyes, so calm and collected...

If only I could be more like that, people would take me more seriously for sure! Then again, being the airhead idiot was his thing, wasn't it? As long as he didn't have to be fake while making people smile...it would be fine. Just seeing Tori smile back at him, even just the tiniest of smiles, was enough to make him gain a little more confidence in himself.

He then let a clear sigh of relief escape his lips, as the silver haired Weapon expressed his own take on all this. Good, good, the last thing he wanted was to make enemies here. He had to aim for friendship! Luca scribbled down another message as Tori seemed to finish talking.

It's nice to meet you, Tori!

But then added something else, showing doubt in his expressions as he wrote down his thoughts.

Do I need to use a honorific?

Japanese were tricky with this, he knew that on first hand. So perhaps it was best to ask first. Wait, but was he Japanese? Maybe they used that name too in America...The sight of the word Weapon however stole his utmost interest, leaving the blonde to excitedly scribble down another message.

I'm a Meister! It's like fate, right?

Ahh, how corny! But he was far too thrilled to find a Weapon in such a short time. What kind of Weapon would he be? Definitely something badass!

But this was all cut short as he realised that he was probably keeping him from returning to class. Luca panicked, letting what one could only describe as trembling moans escape his throat as he tried effortlessly to not trouble him any further.

I'm so sorry!! I just need directions to classroom New Moon! I didn't mean to keep you like this, I'm so sorry!!

@DarkElite020

Sticking her head into a room, it was empty. Clenching her jaw, Ringi backed out and continued on searching for this fabled orientation. Most of what was said could be predicted but none the less a bad impression on your first day. After a few more empty classrooms, she gave a cry of distant and frustration, leaning back on the wall for a second. Catching her breath, the weapon then began to try and remember the map that was at the front entrance. And with luck, she was able to make a run for it down the hall, take a few lefts and a right before slowing to a halt in front of the door. Slowly pushing it open, Ringi walked in quietly, embarrassment flooding her like a tidal wave.

(I apologize for the length, just wanted to make an introduction)

Tori examined Luca from where he was. His bright blond hair... his deep brown eyes... pale skin..and as far as he could tell, a powerful base. He kept looking at him for a moment. He then kinda tensed up and his eyes widened slightly, as if something had startled him. He realized he had been staring at him on accident. He quickly looked away from him and to the sketchbook. He regained his composure. He shook his head then looked back to the book. "S-Sorry... but no... no honorifics please." he said reassuring him with a small smile. He then continued to read the book, reading about how he was a meister. A grin formed on his face. "wow really? Do you have a weapon?" he asked, seeming a bit excited and hopeful. If he didn't... Luca certainly seemed like he wouldn't disappoint. He kept reading. "oh no, don't worry.... but to be honest... I'm actually lost too" he said with a small chuckle. "I only knew where the orientation room is"
