Fandom DWMA - A Sound Soul - Soul Eater RP

While walking away from the chaos, Alex heard Kagoma say that she was going to go to the nurse's office due to her hand hurting. That wasn't really a surprise to Alex, since she just split a desk in half with it. That would've hurt anyone who wasn't like a bodybuilder, or something like that. Alex would be more surprised if she didn't hurt herself in the process, to be honest. "Ok then. Hope your hand gets better." He replied happily. And with that, he began walking off to his next class. "Well, it's a good thing she's my meister." Alex thought, "Things probably would've been worse for me if she weren't here."

Kylei Crysten

Kylei felt pretty calmed down, thanks to Glaive who helped her snap out of her odd aggressive state. What would happen if the fight had started before Glaive stopped her? Would it have been nasty? Would blood be spilled? Of course. Blood would spill from Nose Hair-sama's nostrils if she got a good hit out of him. Ahahaha.... Stupid Baka.

A silent boy, around the age of a young teen, waved his hand to greet the two. Crysten smiled at the youth and made a peace sign. Her face brightened with the smile. She watched as Glaive and the boy introduced themselves. It was challenging to interpret a mute, but she showed respect to their kind. What was life like for them? Huh. She didn't know, but she did know that his name had O's in there. And an S. A gleam of curiosity showed in her eyes and she stuck her hand out to the boy when he had sat down.

"Yo! It's so great to meet you, Salo! If you don't mind, I'm gonna title you that from now on. If you don't know, I am Crysten. Kylei Crysten! Ahaha. In the future you'll hear my name all over the world!!! Glad to have you in this class!!!" She gave a wink at him and sat her bottom down next to Glaive. Hopefully, Nose Hair-sama wasn't seated inside here... The blonde rubbed her cheek and looked around the room to find any life forms of a man with fake red hair.

"And you too, Solomon." She replied after taking her eyes off of the paper. She grabbed a piece from her own bag, grabbing a pencil. She noticed Crysten sat down next to her as well, which made her mind think for a moment. What was this class about? Would it be about finding her weapon..? History? Battle tactics? She intently waited for the teacher to arrive and tell them what they were to do. She was getting moderately bored, so much so that she started tapping her pencil on the desk out of habit. She sighed at one point, her eyes half closed in boredom as she placed her chin on her arms, overlooking the class.

Hoshiko arrived in his class and observed the class as the other students walked in, taking their seats. He sat in a seat that in between the front and the back of the class. He wanted to be able to observe some of the students as well as have a good seat for learning. His seat was in the middle of the row so he could just turn his head a little bit or glance from his peripherals to see what was next to him. Hoshiko leaned forward, folding is hands in front of his face, and glanced at the front of the class. He awaited for the teacher to arrive and start the class. As he was looking on, he heard someone tapping their pencil on their desk. He glanced to his right, spotting a girl that seemed to also be waiting for the teacher(Glaive), but she seemed impatient. At one point, she sighed, placing her chin on her arms overlooking the class. Hoshiko glanced back to the front of the class. At least she stopped the tapping. He heard chatter here and there from the students, but he tuned them out, waiting for the teacher to arrive. He didn't continue reading his book, not wanting to get too lost or too invested in the story and not pay attention in class. He thought back to some of the events that took place in the book as he awaited the teacher's arrival.

Kagoma quickly makes it to the nurse's office. No one was there so kagoma just took a bandage and wrapped it around her wrist and hand. She was glad that the tightly wrapped bandage was helping. She quickly wrote a note and heads to class.

Kagoma reaches class and sees alex. " hey alex, did I miss anything big ?" Says kagoma as she sits next to him recognizing some if the students from orientation.

While waiting for class to start, Alex notices Kagoma run into class with a bandage now wrapped around her hand. She was asking him if she missed anything. "It's ok Yuuki, class didn't even start yet." Alex answered, "The teacher isn't even here yet, so you aren't exactly late, or anything like that." He motioned his head towards the front of the classroom, which was teacher less. "Actually, I wonder when the teacher will show up." Alex thought, "It hasn't been that long, but I'm kinda curious on what the teacher will be like. Hopefully not mean." As Alex looked around, he noticed that there were some kids from the orientation here, such as the one orange haired girl, and the really hyper one close by. Also, there was a new kid, but Alex didn't pay much attention to him. "Speaking of which, do you know when class is going to start?" Alex asks Kagoma in a curious tone.

Solomon chuckled slightly in Kylei's direction, her bravado being quite endearing and even slightly admirable as he also took note of Glaieve's boredom in the room. He couldn't help but awkwardly turn away from this, not really being able to change anything about the situation or stimulate her with any good conversation he could think of at the moment. He looked down at his small piece of paper as he heard voices behind him, pretending not to, h listened intently to a pair behind him converse in a slight whisper.

"Really? I had no idea......I don't really feel safe at all now." admitted a female Deon weapon as, unbeknownst to Solomon, she grabbed her shoulder and stared at the wall unnerved at the news of the missing Demon Weapon, the rumor already making its rounds over to the freshmen. "Yeah, he just one day up and vanished.....no one knows where he is now, it's like he got plucked up from the streets of Death City. But don't worry! The school is probably all over this. Death City is the number one place where you can get away from Kishin because its the center of the DWMA.....just make sure you stay with somebody when you walk home and don't stay out late ok?" he assured, placing a hand on her shoulder as a pair of two boys conversed next to them.

"I doubt its anybody but an insider to Death City. Remember that whole Medusa incident that happened way back? A witch fakes herself as a regular old DWMA employee and then bam, next thing you know all hell's breaking loose. Now all the rest of the staff has to do is go on a witch hunt, but I bet they'll start with Ms. Waynes." he pronounced. "What? Why her?" replied the other as Solomon's eyes widened. "Well, everybody knows she's a witch....she's probably been faking that whole surrender thing all this time.....deep undercover stuff you know? She was always just waiting for an opportunity and then WHAM, dead kids pop up left and right."

Solomon remained silent, his expression turning quickly to a grimace as he placed down his pencil, his shoulders slumped.

She would never.....could never do that...right?

Glaive noticed Solomon's pale expression in her boredom, which quickly turned to concern. Her eyes became more attentive, and alert. She stiffened. "Solo... Whats wrong..?" She inquired, reaching out her hand to grasp his shoulder. She pulled away, however, not knowing if it was right to do that or not. Her expression softened, then her ears picked up on a conversation. Seems she had just missed it, but she heard "...Dead kids popping up left and right", making her flinch. She tried to remain confident, but hearing that alone got her confused. She had a lurking fear that if she found out what that was about, she'd be very afraid. She faced Solo again, her face determined. "It'll be alright. Though I might not know whats wrong, I'll fix it. At least, I'll try..." Whispering the last part, she fell silent, not sure of what else to say.

Solomon simply looked down his face hidden from view as shadows seemed to dance across it, his grimace absorbing the atmosphere around him in darkness. He then looked up, turning his gaze towards Glaive as his atmosphere changed completely in two seconds flat, the shadows disappearing from his gaze as he even gave another one of his rare smiles towards her. He raised a hand, a small chuckle coming from his throat. He gave a thumbs up, the going down to the sheet of paper of his desk and writing on it for a small while. After he had written it all down, he then raised up the piece of paper for her to see.

My mother is a Witch who has turned her allegiance to the DWMA in order to give me a better life, and as a result of the recent disappearance of a Demon Weapon as a rumor circulating throughout the school, she is the first to be targeted. There is nothing you or I can really do to help, but I appreciate your enthusiasm towards my own betterment, thank you!

It was most certainly anti-climactic to say in the least, but even towards a complete stranger, Solomon was very strict in his policy not to withhold vital information. The lesson was taught to him by his mother continuously in order for him not to repeat the same mistakes of miscommunication and deceit she had fallen for many years before. He would thank her if he realized how simple and effective this method was currently, doing this out of obligation to his policies.

" I thought I was late class. I dont know maybe the teacher late " kagoma. Kagoma wonders if they possibly got the wrong room or time. " well if teacher not here then I might as well play some music "says kagoma as she takes out her guitar and amp.she sets up quickly. Places the pic in the hand with the bandage. " what you think Alex."

Glaive read it carefully, even reading it twice to completely let it sink in. She smiles at the last part, her face warming again. "S-sure... No problem." She stuttered, then regained her composure. "I wish I could, though. It seems like your in a tough position." She stated, her voice soft. But, she quickly tried changing the subject by asking, "What kind of witch is your mother?" But then regretted it. She didn't know if that was a sensitive topic or not, which made her feel moderately bad for even going in that direction. She looked away again, at a loss for words. Fudge, what was wrong with her?!

It seemed like Kagoma wanted to play some music since she just set up her guitar and amp. The teacher wasn't around, so this would be the perfect time in Alex's opinion. Then Kagoma asked Alex what he thought of something. He didn't really know what she meant by that. What exactly was she referring to? "Shoot...." Alex thought, "I don't really know what Yuuki will say if I ask this, but...." "What do you mean?" Alex asked somewhat hesitantly, wanting to find out the meaning of her question. He felt a little dense for asking, but that wasn't very visible from his face. Alex then awaited her response on the subject.

The only action we could possibly take in this situation is somehow clearing her name, the likes of which we have business in as NOT students, not even marked as combatants, despite my wishes to break free from such a status. The fact that someone was attacked means this person obviously has some Kishin or Witch ability, meaning they are inherently strong. We'd need much more training before either of us could face such an enemy in a partnership.

All of this writing was giving him carpel tunnel. He then looked at her and just smiled again, waving away her expression of worry she radiated clearly as he then started drawing something on the small piece of paper, humming slightly as he drew on the white sheet and then later on held it up before her, a small picture of a bat greeting her as he smiled brightly. For some reason, he felt it necessary to be inherently expressive in whatever he did, for the sake of cheering her up with his words of sadness he seemed to have a talent for sharing.

Marie Mjolnir - Teacher at DWMA

It had been an especially long morning for Marie. She had woken up late, had trouble figuring out what she was going to wear... and then forgot her notes on what she would bet teaching that day on the counter at home. Dragging herself towards her classroom, she paused for a brief moment while passing a clock before realizing she was late for her own class. Running she barged into the classroom before slowing herself down to a very prim and confident walk.

"Good Morning Class." She said, trying to hide how she was slightly short of breath from the run. She took her place at the front of the room before smiling around at the students. "Who can tell me how the first Demon Weapon was created?" She started out, wanting to gauge the amount this class knew right from the get go.

Kylei Crysten

The blonde lifted her feet onto the desk and yawned loudly, fiddling with a thin lock of hair. She took out a small sized manga book and started to flip the pages. Whispering and gossiping were heard inside the talkative atmosphere and Blondie flipped another page. She felt shuffling beneath her lifted feet and took a quick glimpse at a note passed by Salo. Well, he was talking to Glaive so it wasn't really her business, but the first couple sentences caught her eye. And so did a few of the rumors that floated around them.

After a few seconds, the blonde let them be. It might be a private conversation, so she didn't want to be nosy or rude. Crysten stuffed her nose back into the manga and crossed her legs. A strum of a guitar was heard and she wondered if that was allowed in class. Or could weapons become guitars? Or do guitars count as a weapon? But aren't they instruments? But the teacher wasn't here yet. She frowned with confusion and flipped a page. A sigh was released from her lips and she slouched deeper into her desks.

"Aughghgh..... Where the hell is that teacher?" Kylei groaned in frustration. She flipped another page before the door opened up and a woman with an eyepatch stepped into the room, her smile shining like a star. Oh there she is... The lady asked the class a question and Crysten placed her manga back in her pocket. She wanted someone to answer for her, so she stayed silent and watched the board.

Hoshiko raised his hand in the air with confidence. He knew this answer, he had read it plenty of times. Reading was how Hoshiko best retained information."The first demon weapon was created by Arachne the witch. She murdered a witch as a sacrifice and joined a human soul with an object . Using a witch, which possess transformative capabilities, Arachne joined an inanimate object, a weapon, and a human soul together to successfully create a Demon Weapon, which had the ability to transform from human to weapon form." he said before she could pic someone. He usually was silent, but for this he spoke loud enough for the whole class to here him. He didn't want to repeat himself like had before in his life. (sorry if im wrong)

As their teacher finally entered the classroom and entered, asking the question Solomon was wide eyed at her presnece. It was by no mistake taht he did in fact 'fan-girl' over the Death Scythes and their amazing abilities enhanced by the witch souls they consumed during their time as meisters and weapons at the academy. He was immensely amazed and often enjoyed to read about them in newspapers as well as read about them, mainly because of their cool styles and histories he all couldn't get enough of. He looked over at Alex, still raising a piece of paper by which he had written his own answer on, not caring that Alex had already given his own interpretation before.

The first demo weapons were actually formed by Lord Death and his associates until he eventually cast aside the means of creating them, finding the murder of witches and their souls to be much to cruel and then Arachne did as was previously stated, cheating off of the methods developed by Lord Death and his associates originally.

"The guitar silly" says kagoma. With a smile on her face. When all of a sudden a teacher came crashing. " I guess the concert will have to wait" says kagoma as she tries to repack her guitar and amp. In her hurry she drops her pic and doesn't realize it. She wanted to answer the eye patch teacher question.

UFO watched the girl yell at him dispassionately, slightly disappointed when the teacher interrupted right when the fun was going to start. When people existed with blue and green hair, he was slightly surprised that his hair color was called fake. Well... there was really no point in correcting her. The boiling rage he felt from before bubbled down, and UFO felt calm and sedated. He began walking to class, pausing when he heard the male human from before (Curtis) speak quietly to him. Plan? He didn't really have a plan. All he wanted to do here was to become strong, so strong that he was untouchable...

He entered the classroom, late and smiling placidly, and bowed his head to the teacher, who also appeared to have just arrived. "My 'pologies for being late, teach. I'll just take a seat, instead of interruptin." He took a seat near the back of the class, and leaned onto his elbow. It was right at the time the teacher asked the question about the first Demon Weapons. UFO listened to the mummy guy answer the question, and watched the whitey hold up a paper in response. Arachne... his mind wandered back to his home, and snapped back quickly to reality. He had a feeling... that this would be a boring class.

After a couple minutes, the teacher eventually showed up. She immediately started out the day by asking how the first weapon was created. While remembering the answer, Alex felt something fall on his foot, and someone else began answering the question instead. He looked down reflexively, and it appeared to be a guitar pic. "Oh, that must be Yuuki's." Alex thought, "She probably dropped it while putting her equipment away." While keeping an eye on the teacher, so she doesn't think that Alex is slacking or anything like that, he silently picked up the pic and handed it to Yuuki without saying anything. After all, he didn't need the teacher's attention on him.

Without meaning to alex pokes kagoma in the face with the guitar pic. "Ouch! Oh thank you for giving me my guitar pic." Say kagoma as the jerk from earlier enters the room. Kagoma was still upset with him from earlier.

While handing the guitar pic over, Alex accidentally pokes Kagoma in the face with it. He felt a little bad about that part. "No problem." He mouths inaudibly to Kagoma, "Also, sorry about that." Alex regained his attention towards the teacher and the rest of the class, hoping he didn't miss anything very important. The jerk from earlier had shown up now, but Alex tried not giving it any thought. After all, he is in the same class; might as well try to put up with everybody. No matter who they are, you don't want enemies.

"I'm impressed with both your answers." She said before her gaze became a bit more sour due to the interruption of a late student. "Silent boy, you're correct that Death started it all. He wanted a way for there to be leverage against witches. That's actually one of the reasons Witches have such a huge problem with this school- since their souls are in weapons we're quite literally taking their power and using it against them." She said, tilting her head to the side and grinning. She ignored the student who had interrupted by saying he hadn't interrupted, trying to lead an example for the students though she was irritated with the boy's tardiness.

"So who can tell me how a Demon Weapon can become a Death Weapon, used by the Grim Reaper himself?"

Solomon nodded towards Ms. Marie and then continued to write down on his scrap piece of paper his next answer to her next question, finding himself obligated to answering questions and performing well in all the classes he possibly could. After all, such a thing was obligatory to him due to how he felt the need to advance and become a better demon weapon by rising in rank of the school system, and the only way to do that was to achieve excellency in what he was currently given.

Common to Meisters and Demon Weapons at this school, a pair must go through the trials and tribulations of feeding exactly 99 Kishin Eggs to the Weapon member of the team, in addition to this they must also, at the most tricky part of their main goal, defeat and murder a witch and feed her soul to the weapon additionally. This power allows the weapon to become powerful enough that they have an actual chance of Matching Soul Wavelengths with Lord Death's incredible Power. This is why creating death weapons are important, so they can be used to make an immensely powerful partnership between Lord Death and the Death Weapon.

She whispered under her breath, "Well then, lets do it. Can't be that hard, right?" She smiled confidently, a determined look in her eyes as she looked to Solomon. Watching him tell the teacher the answer, she clapped. "Well, I wouldn't have been able to tell her that one." She stated as if it were a small manner, but was still impressed. He was smart, quiet, friendly... She shook her head. Just calm down there, self. She just met him, and yet felt they'd known each other for months. Which was really, really weird. Either way, he was a pretty great person for being a weapon. Most weapons she met were cold and heartless, always wanting to attack something at the mention of battle. She was just happy she'd found two people who didn't fit those horrible frames.
