Hi all! Welcome to the OOC for Duodecies Infinitum! Here's some rules for the road so we don't wind up getting upset with each other:

1. All RPN rules apply!
2. No discussing sensitive topics like irl politics or religion. We're here to write stories to escape real world, after all.
3. Please do pitch to us any cool ideas you have! I want to foster a welcoming and open-minded environment where all of us can have a say in where the story goes!
4. If you have issues with someone, try to resolve it in DMs either directly to the other person or through me. I'm willing to help talk us through any and all disagreements that will arise.
5. If you need to drop the rp, please give a heads-up so we can figure out how to handle it IC. Also do note that your character is liable to be killed off and replaced or picked up by someone else if you decide to leave, unless you specify otherwise.

Heya! Thanks for the concern, happy to have you aboard! Feel free to lay out whatever ideas you wanna! Hopefully we can get rolling with the RP proper around this time next week, once finals are over.

That being said! If we get to Friday the 15th of December at midnight PST, and there are spots unfilled, feel free to go ahead and make a second character if y'all wanna! It's looking like it might be just the six of us, so that's two for each!

If y'all want to, you can start hashing out ideas for your second troll claim, so long as y'all are cool with maybe giving up the spot if someone new comes along before the deadline and wants that caste instead.

heyho! i still need to figure out virian's kind abstratus and fetch modus + i'll probably think about her land and quest a bit but if anyone wants to plot anything with her (or have any sirt of relation they wanna play out that i can potentially fill with a second character if need be) let me know! very excited to see everyone in action and get to know our silly little trolls

I'd love to talk about relations with the already established trolls, as well! They all have to vaguely know each other, or there needs to be some kind of chain of people knowing each other in order for them to successfully come together as a session.

I'm thinking whoever takes the violet blood spot might have a connection to Daldra (my fuchsia blood) given that they're both sea dwellers and the violet blood probably has run into her at least once, but I'd also like her to have at least one land-based "friend", or at least someone who she trusts enough to continue to contact for some reason.

Any volunteers?

Also I noticed on Virian's sheet, there's a desire on feedback for the outfits? I personally like the second outfit, the one on the right the most.

i am not sure if i can offer virian (you can call her viri for short, i'll probably end up doing that too) for her to be that land based friend considering she is quite shy and reserved ;-; but for viri i'd like for her also to have at least one close friend that keeps in contact with her and encourages her to try and make friends with others ^o^

I had completely forgotten sylp of space was canon when I made Kaneri, not that I really mind but her having Kanaya's classpect was a total coincidence

If you need any help or inspiration for a second troll, I'd recommend looking at the DollMaker, but start at looking over all the individual parts; those spark a concept for a character before I really make them, and it's really helpful.

Shoot, I didn't see the Rogue title! I think I'll switch it to Thief, then

That could work, not only is a shared love of exploring there, it seems like there could be overlap in their Kind Abstrati both technically use tools Kaneri's is just more specialized. Should they just be friends, rivals or something more.
