Fantasy Dungeon of the lost

“Okay...”, Lark received the rock. She heard a noice that made her jump. It almost sounded like it came out of a game.
‘Chuu-chu- -Ahh-ah’ *a little tune playing alongside it*
A window appears in front of her, ‘Recieved a gift, Rock of protection’
“WHAT THE”, she reflexively throws the rock into the air and fell bum first as it falls to the ground.

Xavier was shocked by the screen and hoped back avoiding the rock

"hmmm, maybe somewhere in maine?" she suggested looking around

Lark stared at the window, it looked all cutesy and had a beating heart in the center above a banner that said ‘Recieved a Gift’ below the banner was a description of the gift, ‘A rock given to you by an interesting new person, what could come from such a small gesture?’

“What... this almost looks like a... WHAT! Nononononono”, Lark reaches for the window, clicking accept , “don’t look at that!”, she covers her face, “don’t look at me either”

Zeke scratches the back of his head, “wherever we are, we should probably figure out a way back to civilization...”

"your right, we should get moveing, but we need a source of protection" she said looking around then picking up some smaller rocks and a thick strong stick then she spotted a thin path and gestured zeke's attention to it "Let's see where it goes!" she said excitedly and started towards the path with her stick in hand and prepared to use it for defense...

Zeke casually grabbed a different branch and followed shortly behind, “A path must mean that someone must be nearby...”

"possibly..." she said absently, she was trying to listen carefully for any creatures or any sighns of other life and zeke wasn't exactly helping....but she knew she couldn't just leave him to fend for himself

Zeke scanned the tree branches above and ahead, he seemed to spot something that he hadn’t seen before...
A big ball of fluff with feet.
“Hey.. um...”

she turned around and joined zeke "Thats weird..." she said quietly and backed away slowly not trying to startle it

It turned and stared at them. It shook itself out making a small cloud of dirt. It seemed to be somewhat of a greenish Brown.

she had a bit of knowledge on animals "no sudden movements and be quiet, we are going to slowly and i repeat slowly going to go onward" she whispered and slowly attempted to pass the creature, lerge rock hidden near her hand prepared to hit the creature with it if needed

The creature looked down at her from the branch, it shuffled to look at her as passed under it. A squeak seemed to emerge it as it tipped to its left. There seemed to be some kind of stem with a leaf attached to its head.

More slowly started to come out. Zeke attempted to pass in the same fashion.

"see, if you don't prevoke it, it wont attack" she whispered to zeke as he got closer, once he caught up with her she continued onward down the path...

 

[RoseAstasia]

Zeke whispered back, “That makes sense...” as he followed her, “what do you think they are? I’ve never seen one before.”

More of the creatures came out from the trees. Some climbed down and followed.

"me either, well, ive seen some like them in videogames but none up close..." she said quietly she was wary or the creatures around her and moved slowly occasionally grabbing supplies as they progressed

The creatures slowly inched closer to them as they continued, “I think this is starting to become a little alarming...” Zeke whispered

she looked back and turned around slowly and clutched her stick in her hands prepared to swing "Get your stick ready" she whispered to zeke

Nodding, He got into a fighting pose. the horde of creatures suddenly stopped and looked at each other. They made a loud, high pitched, screeching noise. It echoed through the area.

She then got into a fighting pose ready with her stick, her eyes examineing each creature intently looking for any sighns of an impending attack

One of the creatures runs out and attempts to headbutt Avalon.

she quickly uses her stick to defend herself and push away the creature she then backed up a step watching the creatures closely

 

[RoseAstasia]

5 of them attempt to rush the both of them, Zeke dodges one of them and hits two of them with his branch.

Xavier heard a scream that some creature made and looked towards it he ready himself and stood in a two handed sword stance

Lark got up, picking the rock off the ground, “let’s keep going down the path”

She felt something on her leg, “what the?!?”, the red thing was there.

she manages to dodge one, hit three but the last one takes her by surprise and manages to attack her, she falls for a moment then gets back up and she gets back into a proper fighting stance with her branch
