“Oh yeah. Food works different here.”, Forest opens his menu by blinking 3 times, “If you check your stats, you have a hunger bar. You can eat however much you want without stopping if you have the money, but if you run out you will slowly start to take damage. Some people have leveled up their health regeneration so much that they don’t need to eat anymore if they don’t want to. But it doesn’t really affect their physical body unless they wait a really long time. You can get malnourished, but becoming overweight just doesn’t seem to happen.”

"oh hell yeah. I can eat as much as i want and not get fat. I'm loving this world!" she smiled so wide all her adorably crooked teeth were showing

“Yep, eating can restore HP after all. Eating too much is just like drinking a health potion that you don’t need. It’s a bit of a waste, but it won’t hurt you.”, Forest says.

“Wait really?”, Ryan removes the cloth. There was no blood, “SWEET!”

 

[RoseAstasia]

“Ryan, that wasn’t HP loss, that was a status effect”, Forest says

“Oh...”

"a status effect?" Eli looks at the two guys confused.

 

[RoseAstasia]

“He was bleeding from overextension. He wasn’t doing anything, but his blood was definitely pumping”, Forest says.

“Yeah... I had a nosebleed...”, Ryan says

Everything forest said flew over Elis head. But once Ryan said it simplified she understood "ohhhh the nosebleed was probably from the portal. Most likely side effect" she smiled sweetly thinking she completely understood the situation.

“That definitely wasn’t it”, Forest laughs

“Stop it!”, Ryan looks sheepish

She shook her head at their bickering she had already confirmed what it was in her head so their bickering wasn't going to confuse her! It suddenly popped into her head "WAIT. Son of we are in a video game like skyrum then.. We have to go on quests to get money right? What do we do? Do we join a guild or?"

“Yeah, you can join a guild if you want to. I’ve been playing solo. Monsters drop Gil sometimes, and you can sell their loot to some people as ingredients for weapons and items. NPCs used to buy everything, but there aren’t nearly as many around as there used to be.”, Forest says

She nods "ok. I think we should go on a quest. Uno as a party and level ourselves up. So far I'm the only person that knows their stats?' and it will give us something to do" she smiles and stands up bumping the table

 

[RoseAstasia]

Ryan stands up too, “I still need to figure out how to open my menu”

“Forest stretches and scratches his ear with his pinky, “Yeah, but you might wanna try to do that outside. This is a fancy restaurant after all.”, he stands up and pushes the call waiter button on their table

She nods and stretches. "i also need to find new clothint. I don't like the ones i spawned in with" she fiddled with the hems on her sleaves

“I can teach you how to play, but you can probably get your own clothes”, Forest says.

“I’m fine with mine”, Ryan smiles

The waitress arrives, “yes sir.?”

“I need my bill”, Forest states

She presses a button and a prompt appears in front of Forest. He presses accept.

“Now you can go.”, she waves to Eli, “Please come back another time!”

"ok i will Stephanie! It was delicious thank you!!" she waved to the waitress as she bounced off out the door

Ryan walks outside behind her an starts doing all sorts of random gestures to open his menu, it turns out to be the stereotypically gay wrist tilt, “oof. I need to change that”

Forest follows behind carrying Elijah, “he’s frozen. nobody knows why, but this sometimes happens to people randomly.”

She looks at him "weird. Ok then let's move onward!!" she looked up at the purple red sky as the sun set over the city. "this world is beautiful.. What do we do when it gets dark?"

“We sleep”, Forest says, “that is when the beasts come out from the fields and onto the path. It’s why we have the huge gate and walls.”

"um where do we sleep???!" she starts looking around "oh no im homeless ahhh" she dramatically lays down on the cobblestone pavement

 

[RoseAstasia]

“There is an inn across the street. I will help you pay for the night. Tomorrow you will probably be able to handle it yourself”, Forest says.

She smiles and give him a hug "thank you!!!!! I will live to see tomorrow now let's move onward to the inn!" she smiled and looked up at him

Forest smiles back, “alright”

Ryan follows them to the inn

She walks into the in and smiles "oh this place is so cute!" she looks around at the cozy decor and the warm wooden pillars that hold the place up. The place doesn't look very big. You would be lucky to get a room with 2 beds.

 

[RoseAstasia]

“Yeah. I am going to need 4 rooms.” Forest says

"4 rooms??" she looks at forest and pouts "i don't wanna be by myself.." her eyes get really big and wide as her bottom lip quivers gently.
