Aleesia smiled, glad that her friend was willing to come, though, not so glad about not really being able to go now. Upon hearing Antonia call her shy her face went to that of shock, jokingly of course. "I am not!" She scoffed, "Anyways, I think it would be easier for us both to stay in the city with the meeting with the Queen and all right in the morning. I haven't missed this day in over several years but I'm sure it can wait, besides it'll do us both good if we're not spending an hour to get back early in the morning." Explained Aleesia, chuckling at how much of a rambler she must have sounded like. "I'll see you tomorrow, I guess." She said with a hint of sigh in her voice. After saying bye to her she walked out of the barracks, heading straight to the bathhouse for an evening bath. Looks like I'm sleeping in the barracks tonight.
The only thing that awoke Aleesia the next morning from her slumber was the crack of dawn breaking through the window, gleaming right into her eyes so that the moment she opened them she was blinded by the sun's light. Once finally pulling the covers off of herself she stretched out her arms and back, yawning as she did so. Gods, this bed will be the end of me. She thought while getting off of her bed to stretch her legs out which were they, too, were aching. As she rubbed her eyes and looked around for her armor she felt a sense of foreignness yet also familiarness, that's when she realized that the room she was in looked nothing like the one at her home and that the bed she had slept on was one amongst several others and then another 8 beds right across the room. It dawned on her then that these were the barracks she had slept in, then a sudden head rush feeling hit her as she scrambled to put on her armor, remembering that their was a meeting with the King and Queen today. Cursing under her breath as she strapped on her armor and weapons, Aleesia stormed out of the Guardsmen quarters, her face one of worry an fear that she might have been late and what the punishment of being late might be. If there was one she wouldn't have wanted to know it. Practically slamming open the doors of the barracks she jumped into the air, her wings sprouting out to their full span and flapping downwards to propel her into the air. In the sky she beat her wings as hard as she could to get a high enough altitude because the higher she was the easier she found it to be to navigate around the giant city of Terminus. She turned around every which way she could Aleesia attempted to pinpoint which direction the keep was but instead of finding the keep her eyes focused on a figure passing nearby. It took Aleesia a moment to notice it was Isabelle, which somewhat made her joyful to see her since that meant she could follow her since she too would've likely heard of the meeting, no doubt. She hoped. Propelling herself forward she flew in the direction of the fellow High Varethian to the direction of the keep, only hoping that she wasn't late.
