Dreams of the Second Age

I just noticed this. @Seeker of the End Hastening the Night's End is a huge deal of what I wanted to be able to accomplish with the character. I'm not sure what you are going for with your concept, but social solutions are kind of what I was building for and have been wanting to do for awhile now.

The one in particular was important since overlapping there is fairly silly. For other presence charms as a whole it shouldn't be a problem unless you just want to make room for more combat charms.

The problem is, you guys don't know that you are going to be out of action for that long. You are expecting only a 100-150 year downtime before waking up.

@Sherwood Because of limited social backgrounds I find myself with an overflow of manses since wealth buys Artifacts. I plan on stating each of them out, but I wanted to make sure that surplus of safe houses wouldn't be an issue, same with some of the stuff I'm stockpiling in Arsenal and Panoply. Most of it should be fairly tame as the character should come across as a bit of a collecter. I also tend to follow a self imposed limit of capping skin mounts at permanent Essence rating, cause I didn'the find one in the write up, let me know if think it should be toned down further.

The legal right to purchase Artifacts of certain functions. Generally higher levels of Arsenal or Panoply are for outfitting, siege weapons or just really large scale effects. I think 3 and below are more for personal equipment.

That works for me, too. Don't forget, you guys have had several years of prep time to get supplies, money an weapons laid aside in your hidden sleep chamber, enough to help outfit an army to take control of a failing Deliberative. So long as it is not a few hundred daiklaves, you can have just about any lower level artifact you need.

... How many miscellaneous artifact weapons can we have then? I'm planning to store all of mine in Unlimited Bla- *cough* I mean Thousand Arms Prana and I'm curious how many artifact weapons I'm allowed to stash in elsewhere. Only my personal artifacts weapons are actually attuned though. The rest is just convenient weapon fodder to hand off to our essence-using armies.

Thousands Arms Prana:

Never again shall a Lawgiver suffer being apart from her blades. A character with this Charm may pay one mote to indefinitely store (Essence x 2) weapons Elsewhere, including close- and long-range weapons. This Charm also expressly permits the storage of shields. Thousand Arms Prana is Stackable; the Solar may reflexively store as many weapons as she wishes Elsewhere, at a rate of one mote per (Essence x 2) weapons.

Also: As long as the Solar maintains an Essence commitment to this Charm, she may sheath weapons in Elsewhere without cost, up to her storage limit. Releasing the motes committed to storing her weapons in Elsewhere causes them to fall to the ground around the character in a circle ([Essence x 2] x [number of committed motes released]) yards in diameter.

Basically, as many as you want, so long as you keep the motes committed to keeping the charm active.

The bulk of your stored weapons will be made of mundane materials that are quality work. For the magical material ones, you can have a good half dozen of the lower tier items packed away in storage. I would think that any artifact weapons and items would have to be attuned before you can shift them into Elsewhere.

It was more of a question of how many daiklaves and various artifact weapons will Sherwood let me get away with. With perfected battle array I can attune 10 weapons for 15m.

Also, I'm debating whether or not to raise Arsenal and Wealth to 5... I think I can do it with my current build.

Edit: Got it, most of it will be just high-quality mundane weapons. But good weapons none-the-less. @Sherwood does the half dozen limit apply even though I don't even plan on touching said weapon? They're just supplies for our army.

Lets stick with the 6 to 8 range. That will let you equip your trusted lieutenants with powerful weapons and go forth to conquer all of Creation!

lol That will have to be negotiated. 90 is quite a lot, especially when you have underground storage for your extra stuff that is warded.

<shrug> No objections from me on that many.

Also, I have posted the intro up on the new IC thread. Feel free to converse as you will.
