Krios turned away from the living room and approached Jackie and Alpha while the party was kicking off. "I sense an unnatural darkness occurring outside. Should we handle it?"


Alpha's entire body ached in waves. Since Grimm was locked up he was in the slow process of dying all over again.

I have no hope in challenging either, and the guild is not ready for a fight," She whirls, starting to pace, with every fearling around her flinching at her rage, "Dammit, Timor, think. You can't fight them; not even a miracle could win you that fight. What do you do?" She pinches the bridge of her nose as she thinks, ticking down a list of possibilities and dashing them just as quickly. Fighting was out; with a mental block in place, Abyssum was unstoppable. Her mother was beyond reason, and negotiation was almost a foreign concept to both her mother and her sister. The only person who had ever truly convinced them was dead. She purses her lips as she spins that in her mind, then puts the phone back to her ear, "Grimm, you said that your hold on your powers and the realms they control are growing unsteady. To what extent are we talking about?"

"You're kidding," Jackie growls, stopping like she's having an internal conversation as she puts her hands to Alpha's cheeks and closes her eyes. After a few seconds of this, harmful corruption rapidly attempts to enter Alpha's system, but Jackie draws her hands away before he gets anything more than a slight burn across his jaw. She swears viciously, slamming her fist into one of the walls hard enough the dry wall caves and her index finger pops out of place. She spins on Krios, grabbing him by his shoulders and forcing him back into one of the walls, barely registering how much strength she's exerting on Krios, "You know everything, Nuts and Bolts. How do I save him? If you don't know, find out."

She doesn't even seem to realize how tightly she's holding Krios, but lets him go, her hands dropping to her side. She clenches them into tight fists to hide how badly they are shaking, "Three days sounds like plenty of time until we count in the fact you're practically going to be dead by the end of day 2."

Abyssum turns to Timor and raises an eyebrow. "Hhhmmmm?"

"I'm aware of the fact you've imprisoned Grimm, and I also know that you're not eager for negotiation, so I'm going to bargain for his freedom. You release him, no strings attached, not special conditions, no loop holes, no tricks, and I will give you whatever you desire, if it is within my power. I'm prepared to do so, whatever it may be."
