Bruce looks away from her as well but then returned his gaze to her. He was not letting this topic drop so easily. "You were too quick to think I was a better man, I don't think you know what I've done. I was a mercenary, I've done some of the most horrible things known to man. I've killed people, all of them defenseless against me some of them even killed to send a message. I've taken the lives of children in front of their families just for a few thousand dollars. Now maybe, maybe that would be forgivable since this last year I tried to change my ways but now I can't have that anymore. The whole world apparently hates us, the U.S. has be destroyed, I can only be a mercenary, a fighter, again so that I can help this fucking planet and my guild. And you know what? That's probably what makes me the most human, everything is disposable and I'm willing to trade it to get my way."

He goes back to being what he used to be, which was what the guild seemed to prefer, and he becomes a monster. Bruce felt himself already starting to collapse, it was definitely a different feeling than he'd ever felt before. A little t-too much... and I said not right now!

A small fearling appears next to Timor, holding out a cellphone. She looks at it, then to the fearling, "What... Exactly is that...?" It holds it out more insistantly to her, causing her to back up. "It could be dangerous, don't wave it at me!"


It sighs, speaking in very garbled English, "Cellphone. Talking. Grimm."

Instead of answering, it puts the cellphone into Timor's hand and forces her to answer, putting it to her ear. She grabs it hesitantly by the top by two fingers, then waits. The fearling waves it's hand impantiently to make her proceed, but she snaps at him, "What do I do? I still don't know what a cellphone is!"

The fearling throws it's hands into the air and vanishes, cursing.

Grimm was starting to get frustrated and takes a deep breath. "My powers aren't connecting with the other realms correctly and things are going haywire. You know all the things I govern? They're all spinning out of control now. I need to get out so I can handle them."

Not that I mind your choice, it's a good one. With that Bruce walks into his house and goes up to his bathroom, wondering if the shower still works. After testing it with his hands he strips down and gets in for his warm shower. Warm showers are always good.
