You are afraid to die, yes, but if you were truly cowardly, you would have fled regardless of anyone's ridicule or because of the scorn of your teammates. Remember this, 'cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste death but once'. You have tasted it once and have lived to tell of it, but you squander the rest life fearing an inevitability. Die with valor, die beside friends, die knowing you've saved the lives of others, not standing to the side as your friends die to preserve your life."
Sanctum releases his hold on Jackie as Isabel speaks, and she staggers into Isaac, having to hold his shoulder as pain from her leg hits her in a huge wave. She curses viciously under her breath, "Fuck that guy, thinking he can just fucking walk around on it when that shit is barely holding together, that fucking twat, fuck him," When she composes herself, she looks up at Isabel, "If Sanctum ever heals my god damn leg, I'd be happy to help you out. Ride or die, am I right, Van Fenrir?"

"You know we could make you a splint for you so it doesn't hurt as bad. There's probably a whole bunch of medical plants in the forest we could use to help with the pain also."

"Do you really think I have the courage to go out there again? If I do, do you even think I have what it takes to actually help the guild in this fight with these people?" He shook his head and stood up straight "bah, what am I talking about? I've got the guts to help out the guild, nothing to lose now at this point anyways. I might as well just die anyways." Bruce turns to Isabel "heard the plan and I'm definitely in now. If I'm dying, I'm dying with a bang," he turns back to Timor and picks her up "thank you very much."

She assumes Emily was trying to approach her. Isabel's heart slightly warms at this and she shifts to Alice. She wastes no time to make her away over to Emily so she can carry her. Emily didn't seem to mind being around the others all too much as long as Alice was there. "Turns out that the realm we're visiting is a living being and she's my great grandmother. We have at least a few days before we leave for the deal. We have to prepare for something's. We're going to defeat them and I need you all to be completely prepared for whatever comes next in that realm. Either side wins when their leader is taken out, so if I go down. We lose but I won't hesitate to put my life on the line for one of you. So try not to get put in a bind... I still have a child to raise. Yes... for this moment alone, I'll try to fight but I can't promise anything. I would give a speech but I've got nothing. I might give one before we leave in a few days. Would anyone like to spar for training?"

After all, I've been an almost heartless mercenary, a world renowned therapist, and have helped saved the world and just might do it again. Besides, the only thing I looked forward to was my mid-life crisis but now that's gone so I've got nothing left."

Siobhan enters the house as Isabel speaks, but hangs back as she gives her rather short and uninspiring speech. When she asks for sparring partners, Siobhan raises her hand. "My mother praised your ability in battle. I would like to test that."

At this moment I cannot open the portal myself which is why I need you to open one for me..."
