Dragons Beware

Elona then grabbed out a poison flask and sprayed the bars, grabbing her friend she took flight with her still injured wing. Grimacing but still able to take off.

"****! Get them!" They shot at them as they flew away, but thankfully she took off in the nick of time.

Now the question was how to break the enchanted chains and collars.

Ash wished she could help, but her own wings were useless, and the hit on the head had left her dazed and bleeding. Her wings had been the focus of many tortures, and they were torn, useless for anything other than defending her own body with the.

Elona was free again, but miles from home. She didn't know where to go from here. She did know one thing though. She had to get this collar off.

"How do

feel now that you're free?"

Ash looked up toward the other dragon, "G-Good..." She said softly, a slur in her voice from getting hit over the head. Her head had a gash on it where she was hit with the crowbar, which was slowly staining her pale scales red around the wound

"Well let's get you to safety, and tend your wounds." Elona landed in a clearing in a deep heavy forest, "We should be able to hide here. Plus, there might be some ingredients I could use..." She shuffled around the pack for a healing salve, "This should cleanse the pain." She poured a green liquid over her wounds and the soothing feeling went through her body and cleaned the cuts.

Ash laid still, looking up at Elona with pure confusion in her young eyes. Looking around she felt overjoyed. She couldn't remember the outside, but this, to her, was the best thing she had ever seen. She weakly wobbled to her feet, useless wings tight against her sides as she went to sniff a flower

Elona chuckled. She too was relieved. She was relieved because she thought she would too end up like the little dragon there. The chains wouldn't let them separate however, and they were stuck together. She didn't mind, and hoped to teach the new little dragon how to live a free life. She would teach her everything she knew, like her own daughter. She never had a daughter. Or a husband for that matter. She never left her life 'till just recently and now, she felt happier.

The little dragon looked at Elona, and flapped her wings, trying to take off. She'd never flown in her life, and never knew she could or what it felt like until the bigger dragon picked her up. She tried as hard as she could, but her useless wings did nothing. They were covered in scars, a few tears in their membrane

Elona chuckled, "I'll fix your wings if we ever get back home, sound good?" She longed for company secretly, and this cute little dragon of hers was that company, "Now though I lack the proper tools to create anything and we've gotta' get these chains off. Though maybe..." She took out an acid flask and poured a drop on the enchanted chain tieing them together.

Ash grinned happily and nodded, watching with curious eyes as the older dragon dropped acid on the chain. She moved closer, and curiously reached out to poke the liquid, unsure of what it was.Now that she was free she seemed excited and confused

"NO! Don't touch that! It will hurt you!" She watched closely to see if it would eat the chain and free them, anxious to be free. Though, secretly hoping that they would stay together in the long run.

(I'ma roll and see if it does okay?)

Ash immediately flattened her ears and crouched, closing her eyes as if waiting to be hit. Her small body was shaking in fear, and her tail was tucked under her belly

(Okay)

The acid broke through the small chain with absolutely no resistance. Thinking the same enchantments were on the collars that bound them, she immediately was overjoyed, "Don't worry Ash, Elona here will protect you... I'm sorry I yelled but I don't want your paw burned off." She said in a fluid calming voice, slowly making her way towards Ash, "Now hold still and I'll get this collar off you."

Ash whimpered, but laid on the floor and kept still to keep it easier for Elona. She closed her eyes in case something went wrong, and her wings twitched at her sides. Her tail flicked from side to side nervously

Elona precisely poured the acid onto her collar, breaking through just as easily as the chain. The enchantment was off as soon as she through the collar to the ground, which apparently had a tracking device in it. She threw the collar on the ground and did the same to herself, in the reflection of a puddle to see.

"Well, now we have our powers back!" Though that didn't mean much for her, Ash however it probably meant the world to.

Ash grinned and danced around, stopping and gazing at the floor as a delicate ice flowed from her paws and over the grass. Her wings flapped happy as she regained her powers, tail hitting a tree and watching as the tree bark was covered in frost

"Don't get too carried away, there." Elona didn't want Ash hurting herself. Though she probably knew what she was doing with her ice, "C'mon let's get out of here, we can't stay for too long." She said, picking her up and flying away, grimacing as the wing's wound tore back open and crashed her into the dense forest, letting out a roar of pain.

Ash, who had been under the other dragon, as she refused to ride on her back, was thrown into a tree as they crashed, her small body limp on the floor, eyes closed and frost spreading about herself

Elona limped to see if the other dragon was in pain at all, knowing she couldn't fly again with a hole torn in her wing, and lost in a dense forest.

She wondered if they'd ever get home? She checked ash's pulse. To see if she had been killed from the blow.

Ash was breathing, and alive, simply knocked out. The small dragons ice seemed out of control, spreading in random directions and freezing unexpectong plants and bugs

Elona made a sigh of relief and scooped her up, putting Ash on her back. Looks like we'll be walking, she thought with a sigh and started off towards what she thought was the direction of home.

Ash curled up on the older dragons back, the child's wings spread out over Elonas, her tiny ones trying to mimic the way the older folded them. She gave up, and instead let them hang loosely at her sides. Waking hadn't been a fun experience, and now she had a pounding headache

Elona Chuckled as she walked on, noticing how she tried to mimic her, "But without flight what do we do? Do you have any ideas? I can hardly see in this dense forest." She sighed out.

Ash blinked, "I-If you tell me what your home looks like...maybe I can climb a tree and look?" The small dragon stuttered, her form shivering slightly

"Oh nonsense we're miles away from the cave, and it's well hidden." She sighed not trying to be mean but to be truthful. Elona looked up at the trees and even wondered if they were going the right way, "But thanks for trying Ash."
