Being a captain of a contingent of knights, he has little patience for disobedience and is a caring sort of strict.
Backstory: Daval Skardgard was born a Northerner, to a family of merchants. He grew up in a time of peace, but was trained to fight nonetheless. When the Alessian War, the conflict between the kingdoms of Sancanis and Clessica over the lush Alessian valley, broke out when he was around 16, he signed up for the army, his first bid to fortune and glory. Daval had a part in one of the bloodiest battles of the war and came back home a war hero 5 years later. Knighted some time later, he served the kingdom well for years to come, until the sudden hostility of the dragons and Daval would be ordered to investigate. But what was a knight without a squire?
Opinion on Dragons: Daval grew up in the North, where dragon activity was at its peak. As a child, he was mystified by the great winged beasts, but had grown used to them by the time he was conscripted. He still holds a respect for them.
