The Silent Z Ah, right. I forgot about Archdemon's plans for the party being in the hinterlands. My plan was the former, actually. And if they are going to start there, then I can have Mavril arrive in Haven, acquire rumours about a Warden around that area before having her set out after them. But then again, it's quite a distance between Haven and the Hinterlands. I would have made her head to Redcliffe instead of Haven, but I thought it's only logical for her to return to base rather than into the sanctuary for mages.

Well idk about Archdemon and what he was planning. I just planned and posted in the OP of the ic thread about where the party would start off cause I felt copying the games starting point and trying to move forward from there was risky. Due to prior experience with my last Rp (which was relatively recent) I tried starting off early on and where people were doing meetings and etc then go from there... Thus allowing free interactions and get to knows, open/free debuts options.... But it failed and my Rp died real early on cause of too many delays, sudden drops, a few non replies to tags and pms. So decided to start off a tad later this time. Hoping to avoid the same fate.

A time in between is possible. It's a fair distance but not impossible from what I recall on the map in origins. Redcliffe/hinterlands is closer to the mountains then most cities and villages in fereldan that show up on the map. So a few days travel in game might do it and realistically they (IQ party) couldn't achieve that much travel and quest completion in one day, so a few days over small time skips is possible to make happen.

However Redcliffe if you go by the game is not enterable right off. And the party wouldn't be able to enter that until the smaller stuff is taken care of first. So unless Mavril went full stealth and had a way in without being caught, plus the gate... wouldn't be able to enter Redcliffe anyway so the logical point of starting is cool.

The Silent Z Right. Ok. Thanks for the info. I'm looking to get DA:Inquisition on Origins + DLC 'coz it's on sale, but until I get to play a run-through at least once. I've got no idea where is accessible right off and all that. The map made each town seem so far away though and wiki doesn't go into too much details.
But anyway, would my plan for Mavril be okay (about her going to Haven, acquire rumours than end with implying her heading to the Hinterlands)? Or do I need to make any changes thus far?

Obi-Wan Kenobi I think that's about right from what I read in the CSes and the OOC.

Han JiHyo You're welcome! Awesome, I've got a origins account but never notice their sales. But cool that'd be a great deal. But understandable, just clarifying about Redcliffe cause the party wouldn't be there yet and Mavril being their wouldn't quite work. But gotcha now. It did, but from what I recall when reading stolen throne + plus other small rid bits on the wikia, using the map to some extent and maybe my old DA game books (less I'm mistaken on what all it includes) Redcliffe is the safeguard to the border of fereldan and Orlais through the frostbacks less I'm too far from my DA playing days and book reading. So I picture it as the closest village to the frostbacks mountains meaning Haven and orzammar wouldn't be too far travel wise during the time period of On foot or horse and wagons options.

Here's a possible tool to use for measuring distances in fereldan and such- Can't say it's 100% accurate but seems decent enough to use. A fan did the work this aspect of DA and travel distances. Ferelden travel: distances and times

Your plan is fine though and can proceed with it.

For those unaware of this news... We've got the inquisitor role taken care of with Jaz & Hawke joining us and taking over the role as Twinquisitors. Also whoever would like to post next is free to do so and I've decided barring a claim for the role, to place a dwarf OC in the role of Scout Harding using them as a npc for now. So while no CS will be up for awhile, I'll provide a name and edit the OP as soon as I'm able and select a name.

Just to clarify while I can before new posts occur and clear up the OP starting reference. The traveling party will be off in the hinterlands just about to exit the starting camp, we will skip the scout intro/meeting for now as I hinted as much in the OP, plus at work so can't really respond with ic posts.

From there you can move toward the location & goal of finding the revered mother and fight through mages, Templars and etc if you wish. That's usually the first main goal upon arrival. Unless your like me and finish a few smaller details before hand.

Main goal: Revered Mother Giselle @ the cross roads if I recall correctly. It's been awhile though.

A reminder and so you know about editing your post- Haven is the incorrect location since Serenity is with the traveling party. As mentioned earlier and in the OP and the previous posts to your post... We are in the hinterlands not Haven. Pretty much Arven and for a brief time Mavril were in Haven. The others who are present with the inquisition are within the camp not far from where Giselle is found and where you meet Harding (My npc dwarf who's name is coming shortly and taking her place) is met. Please correct that and ensure everything is solid with relation to the previous posts. Thanks!

If you could add more description such as where you and everyone else in the team are located, it would help. The location up top reads hinterlands but you mention and add more description for Haven then present location such as the camp area in the hinterlands. So it kinda sounds to me like your in haven from how I read it and it seems a bit confusing despite how the location up top says and where we actually are, if you could do a read through and double check it matches up with what Jaz has posted, and clarify where Serenity is now compared to where she was during the prisoner phase of inquisition and haven. I'd appreciate it

Also just a info check: Does your character speak rivaini?

News Update: I've spoken with Serenity and she's going to be dropping out. A back up plan has been in place so delay shall not be but a minute for the ic, meantime I've kept in contact with and heard from most of you. But Archdemon need a word from you here on your plans and your post or if you are dropping the role? It's been awhile since your last word and Cullen could be debuted during this period of posts since he's a early on figure appearance wise.

Your character is one half of the Twinquisitors, right? If we are following canon, then your character would be there when the Conclave went down and would only be inducted into the Inquisition because him and Hawke's character are proclaimed the Heralds. So, I don't think my character would be recruiting him for the Inquisition because he kinds is already heading it with his sister. Unless I got your character wrong...? ^-^""

Oh I see, she does have one half of the inquisitor role. But she's got a second OC coming in place of Scout Lace Harding and thats the character to which she's referring .
