A twilek in a skimpy dancer's outfit at that. Nothing like playing against type.Glad I read through chat, you all seem like a fun sort, oh, and we've got Army and Navy here. All we need now is Air Force and a Coastie and we'll have a full hand.
Furthermore, a Star Wars rp that /didn't/ have someone playing a female Twi'lek? I was truly shocked. Like, not even kidding, it surprised me. Also, the half-Farghul? Proud we've got people that know what a Farghul is.
Anyhow, since there wasn't a Twi'lek, but there /was/ a Farghul, which are my general go-to race, I opted to ruin everything and make a female Twi'lek. Because originality of course.
Let's be honest though, in a time where most Sith wore Sith armor, and Jedi either wore Robes and light armor,or wore Jedi Defender armor, a skimpy dancer's outfit on a twi'lek that has their lightsaber tucked out of sight is exactly how you go about advertising that you are very much /not/ a Jedi or Sith.A twi'lek in a skimpy dancer's outfit at that. All I hear is "Blah blah blah please let me join your ERP".Let's be honest though, in a time where most Sith wore Sith armor, and Jedi either wore Robes and light armor,or wore Jedi Defender armor, a skimpy dancer's outfit on a twi'lek that has their lightsaber tucked out of sight is exactly how you go about advertising that you are very much /not/ a Jedi or Sith.
Because if you know you'll draw attention from people whether you want to or not, you may as well do it on your own terms while eclipsing the features you don't want noticed with something else.
Obviously, what else could that possibly mean. All I hear is "Blah blah blah please let me join your ERP".
"The Force did it" is pretty much the mantra of this game so far. If you want to go ahead and jump in now feel free. It might be a while before we get to chasing the ship. I'll hold off posting until you decide what you want to do.Obviously, what else could that possibly mean.
Can't wait to get in though, seems like stowing away in the ship everyone's heading to could be a good way to get involved. Yada yada 'Force guided me here', the usual reasons people in Star Wars conveniently show up where they're needed.
Truth.I think we might want to chase it sooner rather than later, because a big ol' freighter is going to be pretty handy when cleaning out some vault.
I think we can handle one more. Gives us enough people to make a couple of parties if you guys decide to split up. Make a char and post itYo, any space open to new players?
Got unexpectedly and amazingly drunk last night, forcing me to postpone writing something up like I said I would. I'll make it up to you guys this evening.Truth.
I'll post something late tonight.
Hey Akio. I checked your character out. It's not bad, but it feels like you're godmode-ing him to a certain degree; undefeatable blade master, master of numerous Force powers, darth, able to instantly destroy entire groups of people with a wave of his hand. (Even Vader wasn't that powerful.)Character posted
Yeah, that's why I asked if he would be able to put his hatred aside and work with the others. If so then great. That adds tension which is always nice to have in an RP.If you don't mind my two cents worth, I would say a burning hatred for Jedi is perfectly acceptable, provided that he also recognise that letting his hatred be the only driving force behind his actions is a bad idea. It would be interesting working with a party member that actively disagrees with a chunk of the party, but finds a way to work with them all the same for the sake of their endgoal.
It also gives chances for either the character to change and become more open, or to shows points of steel-lined, hardened resolve as they grow stronger against attempts of reintegration.
All other points stated by Bambi are y'alls prerogative however, as I just have experience working with a character whose hatred of a group can regularly put them at odds with others.
I'm personally looking forward to the fact that Kaedi'ae doesn't have a determined affiliation to either side of the force. It'll be interesting to see how people take to an overtly friendly yet unaffiliated force user.Yeah, that's why I asked if he would be able to put his hatred aside and work with the others. Probably fairly well. My char is unaffiliated, too.I'm personally looking forward to the fact that Kaedi'ae doesn't have a determined affiliation to either side of the force. It'll be interesting to see how people take to an overtly friendly yet unaffiliated force user.
Yeah, I always figured the whole light vs dark thing was nonsense..Probably fairly well. My char is unaffiliated, too.
