So I'm actually not the only one who thinks everyone is acting like you're dying or leaving RpNation permanently, right? We're all happy to hear that you're doing well though.


(I'm on my phone and it corrected "doing" to "dying". Glad I didn't post that...)
 
Just as I decide to come back on here full force, the chat system shuts down again. I used to have a list of all the times it did, cha' know ^-^


Also. Totally remember when Mordecai become an admin. I'm pretty sure she was good, but for the bulk of it I wasn't active here, so I can only assume she was great and everyone is gonna miss her as an admin bunch :~:

Welp, THIS explains why I couldn't find Chat anywhere. This bytes.
 
Hmm ... maybe I should take up taxidermy and stuff the fox for memory's sake? By stuff I mean lots of cookies ... until the fox can't move. Yeah ....
 
So this forum will no longer really be a place to try to get players to organize a chat-based game, as opposed to play-by-post?


Seems like you're moving in that direction.

This forum can be a place to get players for a chat-based game, but that's never been a really big goal for the site, as far as I've seen. Discord was rarely (if ever) used to roleplay, as it was just our site chat, and not a place tailored to roleplaying. However, if you have a chat game, you're welcome to advertise it in an interest check - as long as any contact info (including links to discord servers, skype groups, chatrooms, etc) is only sent to your players via PM.

Make your own discord server and recruit on the site. Our Discord was rarely used to RP.
 
That's what I was asking about-- if it was still okay to recruit for chat-based games here.
 
This idea is probably buried back somewhere in those 4 pages, but did y'all consider making a Teamspeak?

Yes, Teamspeak was already used once but was retired because it ran into the same problems as Discord. Naturally, a member of staff could correct me if I'm wrong. (: However, teamspeak was used once.
