Mason no loner ailed by the clone charged full force twoards Jarious, her twin blades glistening, but one shattered as she released it, sending a shadow of darkness over her body. In doing such she became invisible, light unable to reflect off her body.


She charged silently, her single blade chopping at Jarias's soide with no release, she aimed her blows at his chest, and then his legs.

The kick didn't move Takao an inch, it was like kicking a brick wall. The pain only returns to you. "Its almost time deus..Are ya ready for me..THIS IS THE ULTIMATE POWER OF A TRUE DEMI GOD!" The walls turned into a paste like goo that jumped to deus and grabbed him, the walls hardened like brick and held him in place, only his head showing. "JARIUS ITS ALMOST TIME. ITS ALMOST TIME FOR THE ULTIMATE POWER. YOU AND I WILL BE KNOWN THROUGH HISTORY AS THE PEOPLE TO DEFEAT DEUS. ME AND YOU BROTHER. FOR SHARA AND MASON." The room began to shake, like an earthquake. A storm brewed above them and it began to storm inside of the room. Hole were coming from thin air and creating rips in time and space.

Jarius took the sword blow to the side, hardening his blood veins again to guard. "Sorry to reuse but if it works i'm sticking to it." He didn't see her but he didn't need to, he knew she was close and an AOE would be enough. "Ill be leaving you for a second so take care of Deus for me demi god." The words demi god came from Jarius mouth with a mocking tone. Jarius crossed his hands and five ice pillars making a pentagon shape formed in front of him. Jarius was just outside of the area and if Mason was still in front of him then she was in the area. "Flash freeze!" Suddenly everything in the area froze, even the air, just a solid block of ice. Not just Normal ice, just the hardest ice Jarius had. it would only break if he wanted it too. The bad thing, took quite a bit of energy. He bent over and started breathing heavily. Hopefully Mason was caught inside, even just a little.

Mason was shocked to find herself trapped, her chest struggling to breath as the ice surrounded nearly her entire body except her left arm, shoulder, and luckily head. Chills ran down her body as the ice prevented the slightest movement. Frantically she aimed her blows at the ice, dark turrents and dimaond knives flashed against the surfacr of the ice.


"Let me out you a**!" Mason yelped.

 

[The Suspicious Eye]

"Deus" couldn't move he was in quite a bind trapped by some odd sticky presence. It was quite a nuisance to say the least. He didn't even try to move, he just rolled his eyes. His voice changing to a country twang. "REALLY HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY IT. YOUR'RE FATHER WAS A DEMI GOD YOU ARE A DOUBLE DEMI GOD? A QUARTER GOD? HMM" He looked over to Jarius and suddenly a huge block of ice. "HEY ELSA, WHAT DO YOU THINK THE PROPER TERM IS, QUARTET GOD? MY MONEY'S ON DOUBLE DEMI. ALSO IF YOU DON'T RELEASE MASON YOU'LL FORCE ME TO USE THE LAST OF MY ENERGY TO KILL YOUR YOUNG LADY FRIEND." He nodded in the direction of where Shara was. His voice retired to a nice British accent and he continued to speak. "DON'T THINK I WON'T, I AM IN NEED OF SO RABBIT FUR FOR MY NEW WINTER COAT. IT'S GOTTEN QUITE CHILLY DON'T YOU AGREE MASON?"

Takao laughed and pointed his finger toward Deus as the lightning continued to strike. "DOUBLE, QUARTER WHATEVER IT MAY BE, I AM STILL A GOD. I HAVE POWERS THAT YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE. YOU HAVE CAUSED US ALL OF THIS TROUBLE AND I JUST WANT TO SEE YOU TRY AND HURT SHARA. NOW DEUS. WATCH AS I UNFOLD AND DESTROY YOU ONCE AND FOR ALL. THIS IS.." Takao began to scream in power and held his hand in the air in front of Deus like holding his hand out for a handshake.

"The end.." Takao closed his hand as the space around them all began to slowly melt into nothing but white. No walls or ceilings, or floors. Just white. "FREEZE." Time literally froze before them all. Everything and everyone was frozen in time, Takao was the only one capable of moving. He walked over and tapped Jarius and Mason. This reset them. They were able to interact in the time loop. "Now..that all of that is over..Jarius we need to stop this once and for all. And you Mason. You be quiet. I'll find a way to get the real you back."

As Jarius unfroze he took note that time around him had stopped. "Well this is fun. By the way I was about to answer to Deus's question. I would have said you are a quarter god. Not the most impressive sounding but good on ya mate." Jarius walked over to Takao and have him a pat on the back. "So how do you say we end this? I don't know about you but I say we blow his head off a few more times... kidding of corse" Jarius sighed, just looking at Deus made his stomach turn, expacaly after everything he said about Shara. Remembering Shara reminded Jarius about that necklace. He took it out of his pokcet and stared at it. "Even if I am to die I will never let go." This was his promise to Shara's soul. "So Takao boy, whats the big plan?

Takao looks around at the white area. This place was..empty..no time or space at all..he had done this..but now what to do? "Quarter god my ass..my mother was a goddess herself, that's what deus seems to not know. She was a weak goddess yes, but none the less. How do we even defeat Deus..we can't kill him my force..we need to do something..to go deeper." Takao flipped his scythe in the air. now that I can control space and time..lets see if I can.." He flicks his wrist and a doughnut pops into his hand. "i'm never getting rid of these powers." A big bite was dug into the doughnut my Takao and he had a very happy face while he bit into it.

(Okay, so yes this is Fallenwhisper, but on a second backup account because my other is being a butt. Lost my password, and RPN seems incapable of emailing my primary email address for the recovery instructions. And until I get a new password my account is unable to post anything, so onece I get that fixed I will switch back over, till than.) Mason gave a smile as Deus threatened Shara, the little bunny did have it coming. She felt the frost cool the majority of her body, shivers ran up and down her body as her circulation was useless along her legs and body, many of her appendages growing a faint tint of blue from the constriction of the ice. Worse off was her breathing, her chest trapped in the smallest of spaces, just barely able to take small shallow breaths. She was growing heavy with dizziness, the world was just begining to grow hard to focus on, when everything froze. Her thoughts everything.

"Or we trap em." Jarius chimed in. "Just a thought but I have been preparing a trump. Just like what I did to Mason. Flash frezze. Its a move made just for something like this. It traps someone in ice that can only be broken by the one who castes it, no exceptions, no fire on heaven or earth can melt it and no force can crack it. While I don't think it will completely kill someone like Deus it will be enough to trap him. You jut need to make sure that you and Mason are outside of the area when it happens. Shara's already outside so we don't have to worry about that. I set up the area already so that's something thats been done. You guy just need to get out and I will activate it. If Deus has a hand full of aces then this is our joker. That one card that can be anything, even higher then an ace. One problem. If I do this then it's going to take a lot of energy and I wount be able to fight after. It has to hit." The determination in Jarius voice was something that has never been heard from Jarius. Never had be been so serious. His serious demeanor was broken when he saw Takao eating a donut. "Yo, give me one too man." He snapped his fingers and the ice surrounding Mason broke off everywhere but her hands and feet. The ice was heavy and hard to move. "If you want to say anything to your girlfriend quarter god then now is the time." Jarius's serious demeanor was gone and it seemed like he was back to his old jokey self again. "After you


say what you need to let's talk about a plan to keep Deus in the center of the area. I might have one."

Takao nodded at Jarius after he explained his plan, then laughed as they went back to their old ways. He snapped his fingers and a doughnut came to Jarius. "With this controlling of time and space deal going on..I'm pretty sure I can keep Deus centered as well as get me and Mason out of here in time..just..one thing." Takao walked over and touched Mason to make her unfreeze from the time stop, She was still trapped to the ground by the Ice on her hands and feet. "Alright you..listen..We can do this the easy way, or the hard way..I can force the real Mason out, or you can let her calmly come back to her own body, and I WILL be able to tell if you are lying or not. I can create anything and everything." Takao snaps his fingers and a $100 bill comes to him. He snaps them again and Jarius's hair turns green. "See? Anything."

 

[The Fallow]

"Must say that your threats are truly amusing!" She gave a struggling grim her lips numb as her shallow breathes were drawn rapidly. "Your little girly girl never explained her power clearly, she had half a soul. A soul constantly seeking balance, and now that she has a taste of the whole thing, she isn't ever letting go!" Mason rested her head back, black eyes beaded and determined.

Takao shook his head. "Fine then, you've forced my hand. Takao picked Mason up with some sort of magic and changed his hand to a fist, Mason's sight went black and felt as if she was sleeping. "I'll be right back Jarius, just get your attack ready." Takao disappeared and went straight for Mason's mind. It was a bit dark. But there was a figure ahead..it looked like Mason..but was it the real her?"

Frozen in time "Deus" still had a smug look on his face. He hadn't moved his "body" was frozen in time. However the black particles continued to flow into the ground. They trickled slowly underground to the giant river of dark energy. The pool as it has done since the begining was flowing into the frozen body of Shara. Her own dark energy has been fed, insanity, rage and manipulation. All the actions and emotions of the battle, taken by her friends. This was his project he wanted to see what would happen if he overloaded a rabbit. Rabbits have been considered dimension walkers, chain breakers and depending on their color Hearlds of good or evil. He is excited to see what will happen. He wished he could see it.


He smiled as he watched the children plan. Deus stopped watching and rested sliking mentally back into his original body. It had been made of black wood, created when the Demios school was being built. He in a way felt comfortable in this hollow body. It had been is home for many years. He couldn't belive that it was soon to be destroyed. He felt as if this would truly be the end of him. To think bested by children, heh. Who knew? I have no regrets, only wish I could see the destruction to follow. Hmmmm, maybe if I try to steal the soul back I can survive this. It's hard to find white magic in such a pure form. Her parents must have worked hard to purify her. It took that useless girl so long to give me her soul. Foolish brat, she deserves to explode. Deus chuckled to himself letting his mind wander. Oh how he wished he could mock them some more.

 

[The Fallow]

Mason whiye iris's fotted in the distance of the darkness, her body was frail and weak, her legs curled up alongside her stomach. Most frightening were the marks along her body. While Deus has healed the injuries, here they were still vivid memorieS. She looked up to see Takao before quickly looking away with teary eyes. It had to be another trick of her mind, the darker half of her creating a world of torture for her. But if he was real she could already feel her heart breaking. She didn't want to face him, tell him the truth. For she knew it would crush him.

Takao ran up to mason and slid down beside her holding her. Not even saying a word. "Mason..its you..it really is you.." his skin was warm and comforting. "We need to get you out of here. Come on lets go before something bad happens. your other half is annoying and I want you back.."

Jarius grabbed the donut from the air and quickly chomped down on it. Then he felt a tingle on his head and checked his hair. It was green, this was a new one. "Yo, Takao, if your gonna dye my hair then at least dye it a color I want. Light blue if preferred." Jarius ate the rest of his donut and got back up on his two feet. "Deus beware. Broccoli head has had an almighty donut and is ready for round two." Jarius made his way over to Shara who was still incased in ice. He felt the necklace grow in warmth in his pocket and took it out. He held it by the chain and looked closely at it. He managed to get a hold of it while he was having a mental break down so he didn’t take a good look at it but looking at it now he realized that the necklace had a mini version of Shara in a cage. He felt sad looking at her in her white dress, did this have something to do with why she has been acting like this? He held the necklace close to the frozen Shara and hoped for the best. “Please bring back Shara to the way she was.”

The necklace wriggled and burned white. The necklace vibtated furvently as if it was anout to explode. But suddenly a dark energy blasted against the necklace out of Jarius's hands And fell to the floor. A annoying laugh, that could only be Deus, resonated from nowhere as the dark energy dissapeared. Shara stood there still frozen, her face showing the anger she held earlier. Although inside she could still hear everything. She felt horrible, watching as they fought Deus.


She should be there next to Deus protecting him not here frozen. She felt so useless. However, she was surprised at how weak Deus had become. Even being trapped was surprisingly odd. She hadn't heard much about him, but this isn't what she expected.

 

[The Fallow]

Mason gave a small murmur, happy to see Takao, but terrified of the truth. She struggled up in his grasp, her body skinny and hollowe out. Every bone seemed prominent to the low lighting, giving her a ghastly look. "Takao, " she whispered in a low whimper. "I can't," she answered simply. Her throat stung, her hwart beating rapidly in a dull tone.

 

[Rantos]

Jarius dropped the necklace in surprize as it grew brighter in his hand, it shook like it was some kind of bomb and Jarius flinched and readied himself for it to blow up right in his face. To his surprise (and slight dissopointment) it didn't. Rather it just let out some darkness and a laugh that sounded like it belonged to Deus. Jarius slowly picked the necklace back up. Was this Shara rejecting whatever this necklace was or was this Shara rejecting Jarius, she still hasn't forgiven him. He wasn't surprised. He clenched the necklace in his hand, he was ready for the end. He walked over to Deus and stood facing him. "Takao, you just need to plant his feet and get you and Mason out of the area. But before any of that happens, can you please make my hair color light blue. I'd rather not risk Deus cracking a fast one about my GREEN hair." Jarius cracked a smile, he knew everything was going to be ok. Takao had done the beginning and now Jarius was here to finsh it.

Takao looked down to her with tears in his eyes. "S-stop joking come on youre gonna be okay mason..you have to be..I..I can fix you I swear." Every word Takao studdered aabandons looked as if he was going to cry. He really cared for the girl..he even loved her.

Mason did her best to put on a good face. "I can't leave because my soul is forever part of her, she is me now," she spoke struggling not to shudder. "I need to know your going to be okay, that when Jarias finishes the deed, that you can leave me," she whispered, pleading. Mason'seyes were full of tears, barely standing.

Takao shakes his head as tears begin to build up and his bottom lip shakes. "N-no..no I won't be okay! I'm not losing you again! NO! I won't leave you my love..I love you mason..I can't let you go like this..I'm getting you out of here.." Takao sits there crying on Mason's chest while she lays looking skinny and very brittle. This can't be the end of her..

 

[The Fallow]

Mason gave a small gtin. "And I love you to, but if you end her," she stumbled with her words. "End me," she held his hand a little tighter, "I will be free." She murmured. Her soul would split in two at death, the death attracted to the darkness and ahadows, the light into eternity. She couldn't bear another second of this prison, no more. She kissed his lips lightly. She wasn't fearless, she was just a seventeen year old girl, and she feared death. But not as much as the darkness inside her.

More tears fell from takaos eyes as he kissed mason back softly. He began to let loss and not hold back the tears. "W..will i ever see you again my love..will you ever come back..?"
