Jarius paused in his tracks and slowly turned to Shara. "Where?" His words came out slowly and covered in malice. As the words reached Shara so did a cold wind. The ground beneath Jarius froze and cracked, the walls around him too. The temperature dropped all throughout the school, cold enough to see your breath. This was Jarius's power cranked up to a dangerous level. This was Jarius truly pissed. He walked towards Shara with dark cold eyes and killing intent just spewing out of him. "Where is the fucker?"
Shara stood still facing him as he approached her. She could feel her body slowly freeze over and become numb. Icicles grew on her ears as she stood looking at him face to face. She kept her cool, (pun intended) and slowly spoke making sure she wasn't stammering from the cold. "Deus, has taken my soul." She slowly rose her hand to her chest "b-but I still feel it, it's...it's...its.. far, but..." she could feel her lungs begin to freeze over. She began to slowly breathe, hypothermia turned her body ice cold. She couldn't invoke her power without Deus's command and he was away. "S-s-s-s-s-sooo.....cold."

Takao didn't take a second to wait, as soon as he felt her grip he charged to the other end of the roof through the door that led inside. "Shara and Jarius..I can feel they need is, Deus is coming back in full swing..we have to end this now Mason..I have to reclaim what was ours..this school and our normal lives.." Takao shed a small tear as he ran through the school with Mason, hand in hand.

Jarius's face showed surprize as he saw Shara freezing, the temperature dropped and things stopped freezing but the whole hallway was still covered in ice. Jarius went to gave Shara a hug but stopped and backed out halfway in. While the temperature dropped to something more bearable for normal people his body would still be way too cold to the touch. He scratched the back of his head and looked past Shara. "Yaaa... sorry about that, looks like I just let my emotions carry me away." Jarius's body had cooled down now and he went to hug Shara in an attempt to help warm her up. He looked up and into her eyes, although dark and vacant they were still lovely. His face went red in seconds and he stammered as he stepped away. 'No, no, no. Takao called her already.' He took another look at her bunny ears and his face didn't get any less red. 'Shit, im falling in love with a furry.' "Ok then lets go shall we." Jarius awkwardly followed Shara to wherever she would lead him.

Feeling the rush as she grabbed Takao's hand she ran full speed. She felt the air around her cool, not that it bothered her, but the ice did. Water was not her cup of tea, and shifting through objects was impossible with it around. She would have to be carefull. What if Deus won? What if he killed them all. It scared her bitterly. What if he decided on fates worse than death?

Shara stood still as her body thawed, she stood there letting the blood move through her body. Jarius warmth helped, however he kept pulling back. It was quite odd to her, he was acting so weird. She flapped her ears letting the icicles fall and shatter as they hit the ground. She looked at his red face assuming that it was with anger. She smiled at him warmly, "It's fine, I understand the effect emotions have on power." She slowly began to take a few steps forwards, getting closer to Jarius. She looked at him for a moment before passing him and continuing down the hall. "Yes, let's. I have a feeling that Takao will be here soon." She began to walk towards the cafeteria ignoring the bodies that lied in her wake.

Takao, with Mason still in hand, Slammed into the cafeteria door. And there they were. Shara and Jarius, Shara..bunny ears..what the? No matter. Takao slowly walked up to them, happy they were okay, but where the hell was Deus? "Hey guys..what the hell is going on here..where is Deus..?" Sounds of the skeletons could be heard coming toward the cafeteria. They had to put a stop to Deus..now.

Mason looked from Jarius to Shara. Jarius looked like he had said something dorky in front of a crush, and Shara simply looked conflicted. In the sense she was now half bunny? With no one else mentioning the strange getup, Mason diverted her attention to the matter at hand. (Or paw in Shara's case) What was Deus's grand scheme of things? Corner and watch them die at the hands of the undead. While this was evil and cruel it just wasn't Deus's style. He loved manipulation and emotional pain. He would be the one to do the deed if it was to be done.

"Yeah, thanks for understanding." Jarius coughed in fear. Was she on to him? He hoped not, as far as he knew Takao still had it in for Shara (That may not be true but thats what Jarius thinks.) he'd rather not turn this into some kind of strange love triangle. Jarius jumped as he heard Takao's voice behind him, he stuttered and tripped over his words make uncomparable sounds and then finally said something. "Takao! And Mason too! Hi buddy, how have you been. Nothing going on over here just trying to figure out where to go to stop Deus." Jarius then walked along side Takao following Shara. "So... I know I have been asleep for a while, what's up with you?"

Takao knew from the jump why Jarius..amias..whatever..was being so friendly. Something was up with him and Shara and Takao knew from the get go. Takao leaned over and whispered to him. "If this is about Shara, i understand, you can have her..I think she is more fond of you anyway, and slowly Mason is starting to grow feelings for me. So feel free my brother." Takao smiled. He was watching each person here unfold one at a time. Ever since that first day, Takao has grown into a more outgoing person, no longer an introvert. Takao was short still yes, but had a lot of heart in protecting his friends. Now was the time to take the battle to the enemy.

Shara sensed Takao and Mason as they approached. She stopped walking and stood there waiting for everyone to gather their pleasantries. Shara's ears twitched as she heard the everything. (Super hearing of a rabbit, all whispers are null void Muhahahahaha!) She felt nothing to anyone, about anything. However, she suddenly turned around and looked at everyone, her blood red eyes lifeless and dull. "Well, as we all seem to be here, let's continue. Deus is waiting after all." She smiled pleasantly, her tone quite aggravated at the whole even. She turned around and continued to walk "and keeping him waiting is something you do not want to do." Shara felt a tug on her heart and followed it leading to Deus.

Mason grew curious seeing Takao whisper to Jarious but yet again pushed it off. She had a mild temper but after Deus's earlier stunt, including his emotional attack on her, she had better things to think about. As Shara lead the way, she pulled out her knife. Though designed for throwing, the black metal worked good as a multipurpose weapon.

Walking she realized what a mess she must look like . Her school uniform was cut up, a few holes along the front. She could shift through blades but her clothes were another story. Along with that she was covered in bone dust and small splatters of blood for the swords of the skeletons, not to mention her back. Cut just enough it ached and bleed but not enough to raise any alarm.

Jarius took a second to think about what Takao just said. "T-thanks brother." Brother... that word slipped off Jarius tongue with a foreign feeling. Before this all started he called Takao his brother all the time, but ever since Deus took the school, it seems as though him and Takao were falling farther and farther apart. Not just Takao but everyone he knew, and now before the final battle they were coming together again. Jarius grabbed Takao's shoulder and pulled him close giving him his best toothy grin. "We have come far Takao. We are going to have to have a party back in my dorm. Im sure theres more floor pizza left." Jarus laughed at his own joke, his childlike laughter filled the halls. "Shara you come too! And I guess if you want then Mason you can join us as well." Jaius now was looking at the doors to the cafeteria.

((Im ready for the final battle.))

Takao shed a tear as Jarius looked at him. This was very true in fact, When they had met they became friends very fast. With all of this nonsense going on Takao hated Jarius..well more Amias then Jarius. But then Amias started to come close to Takao. Jarius was his same old goofy self again. "Anything for a brother like you Jarius..We will take this battle to the end and we will stop this thing from hurting us any further. For the sake of our friends and loved ones."

Shara continued to walk in silence until she stood at the doors, waiting for the others. She looked at all of them, the suriviors, the ones with the greatest potential of evil. She smiled sadly as Jarius spoke, "that is sweet, however you all probably won't have that party." She looked at the door to the cafeteria and pushed it open. And motioned for them to enter, "the end is here." She walked through the doors and into the cafeteria. It was completely empty except for a big red X on the center tiles. She walked over to the X and stood there looking down at the mark. "Underneath the floor is my uncle's skull. It has been burning for years keeping Deus at bay after his death." She slowly touched her ribbon that he gave her. She felt something saddening pull at her. She assumed her proximity to Deus and her soul is causing this emotion to well up. Who knows what could happen if it was returned. She sighed and turned to there others "Who will dig first?"

Mason looked down the grand X. She wasn't especially bright, but she had a feeling what ever lie beneath it was not friendly. She examined the empty cafeteria. There appeared to be nothing to dig with, so it would be up to the groups own abilities. "I could pass right through the floor, but that would not exactly be very helpful for the group," she added glumly. "I have never tried passing through with a group, but now doesn't seem like the best of times to try that out," Mason looked at her feet feeling slightly useless right about now. If they were to battle Deus, she would have little to offer, other than staying out of the way.

Takao looks over to Mason as he walks toward her. "I mean its worth a shot, I'm willing to do whatever you want Mason" Takao smiles as a hope of trying to win her trust back..he really did like her. A lot..but would she still want him after..Deus..you know..Whatever, this was not the time to think about.

Mason looked towards Takao with a little bit more confidence. He was being so nice lately...she wanted to appreciate it but every time she allowed herself to relax around him, she was quickly reminded of Deus's cruel joke against her. She looked down at the floor. It could be any distance down before open space, so many variables. She could easily do it, but with others, it was rather questionable. To say the least it would save them time...digging through tile and foundation would be a nightmare. And the more time spent, the more lives would be lost to Deus's wrath.

Takao taps into Mason's mind, a task he could only do once per day, Very weird, but it works. Mason I-I..want to apologize..I know it was never my fault that it had happened..but I am..I want to know if you could look past that..I really do like you..I know Deus maybe ruined my chances of being with you..I'm sorry he did that to you..if it was me I would never do anything like that to you..ever.

Mason gave a small frown at the sudden intrusion but hearing the subject matter was quick to forgive. It isn't my conscious decision at the moment. I am sorry to come off as someone to hold a pointless grudge, but I simply need time. Mason though truthfully towards Takao. She tentivelly looked in his direction.

Jarus walked forward towards Shara. "Stand back. I got this chizz." A cold wind ran through the cafeteria and Jaris lifted his hand. Above his hand a rugged ball of ice formed above, it gathered and grew until it was a huge size (let say like 7 feet in diameter. Big) With a flick of his hand he sent it downwards into the X on the ground and shattered the floor, sending pieces of wood and other to go flying. Jarius was overcome by hate once more. "Time to die mother fucker." Jarius jumped down and his attention was immediately on the flaming skull; there target. A ice javelin formed in his hand and he threw it right at the skull. "Wait... I suck at javelin. Ah shit!"

((Ill let you decide if it hits or not Senpai.))

Takao was about to respond to Mason when Jarius began to form an ice ball in his hand. Now was the time to respond. How about this..If we end up defeating Deus, you give me a chance to show you that I really am a wonderful person, by you becoming the woman of my dreams. If we ultimately fail and somehow survive, I will leave you alone. sound fair? Takao watched Jarius as he responded to Mason. He was angry..he wanted to help Shara and save the day..but this..was a team effort.

Mason gave a small smile in Takao's direction. If we win you can take me out for a normal dinner in the city, if we fail...Deus will seal us a fate worse than death. Mason looked towards the hole. She grabbed to the edge of the tile letting herself hang down before releasing and landing knees bent. She looked upwards waiting for Shara and Takao.

Shara noticed the Mason and Takao glance at each other. She felt something boil inside her. However she let it pass. She took one step back as Jarius made the ice spear. It pierced the ground and the whole foundation shattered showing a set of dark winding stairs. Shara smiled and began to walk down the steps. "Well done, come now. To the light of the tunnel." She walked further and nearly disappeared in the darkness her voiced echoed up to them "well are you coming?"

Mason looked down at the dark staircase, somehow this seemed like a terrible idea that could only end poorly, but heck to it. Following into the void, she frowned, for some of them, this could be the last trip into the darkness. It could be the end of any of them, even her. Well, it was nice knowing you guy's, she thought to herself before she was simply clinging to the railing to escort her deeper below the school.

Jarus laughed as he saw the part of the floor that his javelin hit fell apart and Shara started walking down it. "Yeah, I totally meant to do that. I dont suck at javelin." Jarius walked after Shara but stopped once he reached the top of the staircase, he was uncertain if going down into that dark void would be best but after seeing Shara go down it without a second thought he followed down after here. He made haste trying to catch up to her but it was so dark he could hardly see a thing. He kept going until he bumped into a body. He fondled and felt the body until he confirmed it was Shara's. (How you ask. Well the bunny ears are a dead giveaway.) "Hey Shara listen... I dont know if I may come back out alive after this so I want to tell you something so I don't die with any regrets." Jarius took a deep breath. Never in his life had he been good with confessing his love for anyone. It took him 7 years to finally say I love to to his own mother. Not to her face of course but he said it nonetheless. "Do with this information what you will but I think im in love with you."
