[The Suspicious Eye]

Shara listened to Jarius read the letter finding herself more confused than before. She was puzzled that Jarius didn't know who Amias was, from the tone of the letter it seemed as if Amias knows Jarius quite well. Shara believed that Jarius didn't know who Amias is, Jarius is a joker, but he's a honest guy. She racked her brain trying to remember if a Amias was a student at the academy, but was coming up blank. Shara was sure she knew everyone in the academy, who was this person.


Then there was the part where she couldn't believe, this mystery person knows who is behind all of this. If they could find Amias, then they would be closer to finding out who is responsible. "I don't know who he is, but I think we should try to look for this Amias. He knows whats going on with the school so he has to be here somewhere. If we can find him, we can persuade him to tell us the culprit." She looked down and only then realized that she was till holding Takao's hand. She quickly let go, pulling her hair be hid her ear it was clear that her face was red with embarrassment.

[Rantos]

Jarius racked his brain but couldn't recall a Amias, never in his life had he heard that name until now. But he seemed to know Jarius. But how. Jarius put th letter back down and sat down on his bed, grabbing a random pizza slice from a box at the foot of his bed, god knows how long it's been there. "Well I think this is easy fix, all we have to do is got to the main office, use the mic thingy they have there to call Amias to the office. If he's in the school then he should hear us, right?" he took a bite from the pizza and took a few chews before saying. "Wana slice?"

Takao was puzzled. then he felt Shara release and her face was a tad hidden behind her hair. Her hair was so long and pretty, and her eyes. Oh my god..Her face was red, blushing. Maybe she had feelings for him too. But they would find out later. For now the task at hand is finding Amias. "I agree with Jarius, we should go to the front office, that is if we still have one. Find out who Amias is, and I can tap into his memories if he gives us no answers..one of my abilities." Takao then saw Jarius eat the pizza..what even dude..how can you..nevermind..

 

[The Suspicious Eye]

Shara looked at the pizza not knowing how long it has been there. How can he possibly eat that? He must have a stomach made of iron. Shaking her head at the pizza, Shara smiled at both of them "that's a great idea guys. I think the office should be open. I hope he comes." Shara gratefully stepped out of the room, she was afraid another moment and mold would crawl up her leg. She was excited that they were going to get some answers, well at least had a plan. Shara stepped out on the hallway and stopped for a moment looking down at the large prints on the floor. Her entire body froze, her face growing pale all she could let out is a tiny "ah.."

Several paw prints of a large clawed animal had appeared all across the 3rd floor dormitories heading down toward the second floor. The sounds of screams and loud roars reverberated up the stairs. There are several dark magic bears running rampant on the first and second floors of the school. They seem to be residing near the cafeteria and front office.

Spoiler Monster: Dark Ursa Location: First floor (about 12) Second floor (about 4) Power: Massive strength enough to create earthquakes, regenerative power. Weakness: strong burst of concentrated energy into joints or spine causes bear to explode. Warning: May come back after exploding!! Use extreme caution!!

Takao turned around to walk out the door and noticed Shara's blank stare. "Shara what's going on, looks like you've just seen a ghost." He steps out of the room and looks where she was looking. Large paw prints lined the hallway. What in the hell? Takao presses his fingers to his temples and closes his eyes. He can see the front office, and a bunch of large bear looking creatures. They had to get there at all costs. He sprang into action and ran back the other way down the hall to his room. "I'll be right back!" Takao yelled out to Shara and Jarius. He made it to his room. Inside was just a bunch of clothes, Takao grabbed a new outfit. It was an all black outfit. Perfect for battle.

 

[Rantos]

"Its ok, pizza on my bed has a guaranteed 50% chance of being dangerous to ones health. Unlike the pizza you were standing on a moment ago Shara. That had a 50% chance of being 100% dangerous." Jarius got ready to say another percent joke but then saw Shara's face and walked over to the door, it was then he heard the screams and without a second thought bolted out the door. He followed the footprints until he reached the cafeteria and saw several bears, well, if he could even call them bears. Instantly he froze two tables and sent them hurtling towards the bears. He then froze the floor and made it more of a ice rink then a cafeteria. "I dont know who sent you, but let them know this. If they think I would let anyone in this school die, then there sorely mistaken." Frost then covered Jairus's whole arm, his sleeves froze too. A cold wind blew through the cafeteria, the fight began.

Shara stood for a long moment, not even noticing the squishy pizza on her shoes. She was afraid that they were wolf tracks. Shara hated wolfs, she was always afraid of them and froze when she saw them. What if they are wolves? What if I freeze. She was worried she wouldn't be of help, she didn't want to be a burden. Looking over to the stairs Shara took a deep breath and calmed her mind. Rasing her hand she made the air around her become denser and denser till the sword came into partial view. Grabbing it Shara began to make her way towards the stairs.

The bears growled at their new enemy. Those who were knocked back roared with anger. The bears lifted their paws up high and dropped them causing a strong quake cracking the ice into sharp peaks. The beats roared and charged towards the boy ready for blood

Takao ran out of his room with his new outfit on. He breezed past shara and grabbed her hand pulling her along. He got used to holding her hand. Down the stairs he saw jarius fighting. Takao let shara go and he jumped in the air over jarius shooting a dark fire from his arms burning the path ahead of the bears. It was too dense to see through. Takao landed infront of jarius on one knee. "Lets do this jarius. For the queen." He looked back and winked at shara as a black scythe appeared in his hand.

 

[Rantos]

"Long may she rain." Jarius said in response. He held out his hands, and grabbed the charging bear's head. "Touching me is a bad idea." He then dug his fingers into the bear's head and started to freeze it over. Soon the two collided into a wall, Jarius's back hitting the wall head on, his eyes widened as blood came from his mouth. In that instant there was a loud slam, and the sound of something freezing. Jarius was trying to freeze the bear's feet too

Shara was surprised as she was suddenly pulled along by Takao. As she was stopped at the scenes of the battle. She watched as Takao lept into action. As he winked at her, Shara could feel the heat rise to her face. Shara nodded at them preparing for incoming attacks. Shara was blocking a charging bear with a dense air barrier when she saw Jarius be pushed back into the wall. She turned to him her face full of worry "Jarius!"


She rushed over to him full of worry "Jarius are you okay?"

 

[Rantos]

Jarius looked back at Shara, confused. "Yeah I'm ok, what you think that bear could really do much to hurt me. You clearly don't remember all the fights Ive been in, I... don't... lose." Jarius said that last part slowly and sarcasticly as if trying to explain something to a toddler. "Who you should be worrying about is your boy friend over there." Jarius sprang up and twirled and whirled his way over to the next bear, it was slightly obvious that Jarius took some damage from that last attack, but he was still pushing at max speed. He ran twourds on the bear's, ducked under its attack and dug his finger nails into its face. Frost started to cover its face until it was frozen over.

Another bear was charging straight for Jarius and Shara. Takao lept into the air and landed on the back of the bear. It was fierce and tried to scratch him off of its back. Takao placed the scythe on the neck of the bear and pulled hard. The head of the bear came clean off and blood poured all over Takao, the bears body slid into the wall and crushed Takao with it. He was covered in blood and a giant bear. From the looks of it outside of his view the bear looks like it killed Takao with the crash. He was fine though.

Shara was relieved that Jarius was okay. Okay enough that his ego wasn't bruised. Although she did see some blood on his lip, Shara turned her attention to Takao. She watched in awe as he slew the beast with skill and ease she knew she could need match. Suddenly her awe turned to horror as the beast slid and crushed Takao. She screamed in horror and rushed towards Takao and the beast. "Takao!" She rushed over to the bear's body and placed her hand over the bear causing the bonds that held the bear together to weaken and disperse "please don't be dead" a tear slowly rolled down her eye.

Takao grabs the bear by its black fur and he grunts loudly. He picks it up and tosses it to the side, very weak from being crushed by a 2 ton demonic bear. Straight down to his knees with a loud sigh. "Man..that hurt.." He is breathing heavily. "I haven't had to kill something like that in a long time, I'm alright though Shara, no need to cry." Takao smiles as he wipes the blood from his forehead

 

[The Suspicious Eye]

As the bear began to move, then she heard a familiar voice. Looking up she saw Takao bruised and battered, but still alive. Shara wiped her eyes and pouted at him. "I'm not crying, I was just worried about you. It looked as if you had died." She watched as the bears body disintegrated into nothing and got up. She smiled down at him extending her hand to Takao. "Come on we need to get to the front office."

 

[Seraph]

Still in the room full of the rotating winds Cyrus stood in the middle of it all with a size able grin spread across his face as he heard screams and watched chairs smash about. When chairs or other various objects would come near him he simply destroyed them with a flick of his wrist. He sighed pleased with himself as he exited the room and started roaming the halls trying to communicate with people as they just ran by. He frowned and started his way down the steps still hearing screams and the occasional roar. He held the railing in his hand getting down to the second floor and was going until he heard fighting and saw three other students engaging these strange bear creatures. Cyrus was amused and leaned up against a wall as he watched them struggle against these things.

Takao grabbed sharas hand and smiled. Suddenly he felt a presence, turning around he saw a familiar face. It was cyrus. Takao didn't know him too well, but he seemed cool. "Cyrus, what are you doing here?"

 

[Rantos]

Jarius looked away from the battle when he heard Cyrus "Oh hey Cyrus is he-" Jarius's sentence was cut short when one of the bears slashed at his head, direct impact, and Jarius was sent flying towards a wall. The wall gave way a little upon impact and pieces flew off. Utter silence, even the cold wind stopped, Jarius would never stop the wind unless the battle was over, or... death. Jarius just sat there motionless.


"Drip, drip, drip. And the blood comes forth." Jarius's finger twitched. He wasn't dead (yet at least). Without using his hands his body rose back on its two feet. The bears seemed to be backing up at the sight of him, but why. That question was answered when a thin red stream came from Jairus, going to fast to really saw what it was. Going from bear to bear, cutting each and every head there the bodys. "Sorry to kill your "pets" Deus, but they bother me." Jarius looked around for any survivors. There was one bear, on the ground, his attack did not cut all the way through. He slowly made his way over to it, and when he extended his hand over its head, and a red liquid came off his finger tips. Now it could be seen, it was blood. As they fell and finally touched down on the bears head there was a hissing sound. The liquid was burning through the head. With every drop the bear cried out, its body twitched in pain. Until it twitched its last signaling it was dead. Jarius did one last body count, it was done. There was something different about the way he acted. Almost as if he was a different person entirely. Amias had awoken from his slumber.

Takao blinked as he watched jarius turn into something out of this world. "J-jarius..are you okay?" Takao didn't want to get too close to him. Something might have happened..something bad..

 

[Rantos]

Amias looked over at Takao with a blank emotionless stare "Jar- oh you mean the mask, yeah. It broke, but give it some time and i'm sure it will fix itself. sooner or later." Amias made his way over to Takao until he was inches from his face. "The names Amias, commit it to memory." Amias then tapped two of his fingers on Takao's forehead.

Takao gave a mean look showing his two fangs. Jarius was amias..how..just how. "So you're the fabled amias. Was it you thats been doing this to our school?" Takao grabbed him by the throat. "Was it!?" Takao was reach in his breaking point..not good at all..

 

[Seraph]

Cyrus gleamed at the sight of red everywhere and the bear carpets that were now strewn about. He watched as this boy that killed the bears walked toward the other apparently explaining himself to him. "Him? Fabled? I've never even heard of him that preposterous." He spoke in a mocking down as he looked down upon the three of them. He laughed as his eyes were replaced with lightning that swirled around in circles.

 

[The Suspicious Eye]

Shara surprised by all the commotion, Cyrus appearing, Jarius fighting with blood, the introduction to Amias. Trying to figure everything out was going to take a while. However the time to think is over, quickly Shara raised her hand up in a attempt to hold Takao back as he grabbed Jarius, no Amias's throat. "Takao wait! Calm down we won't get any answers that way!" She looked at him her face serious.

 

[Rantos]

"No. let him choke me. I like it, it shows that you mean business." Amias then grabbed Takao's hands and put them around his neck. "Now go ahead and squeeze. I dare you, kill your friend. Assuming by your tone that you read my letter, good. I know who it is who trapped us here, and I'm willing to tell if you prove to me that it's worth saving your pathetic lives."

Takao let amias go and screamed as he punched a cafeteria table in half. "Who did this..Who the hell did this to our school amias!?" Takao was breathing heavily. It was happening. He was changing as well. His eyes changed to black as if no one was there. He was not takao anymore.
